Abstract

This article describes the role of teachers as motivators in enhancing student learning motivation, including in Islamic religious education. The study is qualitative with a descriptive approach aimed at uncovering facts and providing interpretation. The results show that teachers increase learning motivation through three communication methods: lecturing, acting as moderators, and managing group work. However, there are several problems faced by teachers, such as a lack of learning media and monotonous methods, which make students easily bored. Students also face challenges such as fear and shyness in asking questions, as well as a lack of concentration. A family environment that lacks care also affects students' studies. Factors that support learning motivation include the characteristics of inspirational teachers, facilities like school mosques, and the diversity of student characters. Meanwhile, obstacles include a shortage of educators, Islamic religious education schedules at the end of the day, and divided student attention.Bagian Atas Formulir

Abstract

One of the increasingly popular applications used for learning is Canva, this application is an online design application that is easy to use, and can help teachers create learning materials that are visually attractive and interactive, thereby increasing student motivation and learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a relationship between the level of teacher familiarity with the Canva application and the teacher's skills in designing interesting learning messages; and identifying teachers' perceptions of the effectiveness of using the Canva application in improving the quality of learning message design. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a survey research type. The research sample was 30 teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Mempawah Hilir. The data that has been collected is processed and analyzed using IBM SPSS. The research results showed that the average value for the familiarity aspect with the Canva application was 91.3% in the high category. The average value of usage level and frequency is 95.2% in the high category. The average score for the creativity aspect and impact of the Canva application in classical learning is 99.5% in the high category. The average value of the challenge and support aspect is 81.8% in the high category. The conclusion obtained is that there is a relationship between the teacher's level of familiarity with the Canva application and the teacher's response to the Canva application is very good.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the family environment on the formation of student character. In an increasingly complex global era, education is one of the important aspects that influences the formation of students' character. The family environment, which includes the values, norms and behavior adopted by family members, has an important role in forming students' character. This research uses qualitative research methods to understand the phenomenon from the perspective of the subject, namely students and their family environment. The research results show that the family environment has a significant role in shaping student character. Students who grow up in an environment that adheres to positive values ​​tend to have positive and useful characters. This research confirms the importance of the family environment in forming student character and shows that educational strategies that pay attention to the family environment and the values ​​held by the family can help improve learning outcomes and student character.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of technology integration in learning on the academic achievement of students in higher education. Through a literature review, we investigate the relationship between the use of technology such as e-learning platforms, augmented reality, and virtual reality with student engagement and academic achievement. Findings from this research highlight the importance of adequate technological infrastructure, teacher training, relevant curriculum design, institutional support, and technology accessibility to enhance the effectiveness of technology use in learning. The implications of this study provide insights for education practitioners and policymakers to maximize the benefits of technology in improving student academic achievement in higher education.

Abstract

Education is a conscious effort made by humans to achieve their life goals. Student Worksheets (LKPD) are sheets containing tasks that must be carried out by students in order to improve student learning outcomes. LKPD usually contains instructions, steps to complete a task. The tasks ordered in the LKPD must be clear about the basic competencies to be achieved. The aim of this research is to determine the validity of inquiry-based LKPD on colloidal material and to determine the response of class XI students at SMA Plus Santo Albertus Agung Weleun Malaka to inquiry-based LKPD. This type of research is research and development (Research & Development). The material expert validation results obtained were in the very appropriate category with a percentage of 90%, the media expert validation results obtained were in the very appropriate category with a percentage of 92%, and the student response percentage results obtained were a percentage of 88.75%

His writings encompass various aspects of modern life and offer relevant Islamic insights that can be applied in diverse contexts, including education. In an age characterized by rapid change and widespread information dissemination, Yusuf al-Qaradawi's works provide guidance for Islamic educators and students to understand and confront contemporary challenges. This abstract outlines his influence in enriching Islamic religious education in the digital era, highlighting his significant contributions in integrating Islamic values with technology, addressing contemporary issues, and fostering critical thinking among Muslim students. Abstract

Globalization presents both threats and opportunities for teenage students. Threats arise from the negative impacts of globalization, while opportunities come from the development of academic potential. Full-day school directs students towards positivity and avoids the troubling hedonistic culture. This research aims to explore the role of a madrasah implementing the full-day school learning system in producing nationally accomplished students. It is a qualitative study conducted at MA Darussalam Boarding School in Samarinda. Primary data sources include the madrasah head, curriculum vice principal, student affairs vice principal, and students. Secondary data sources consist of supporting documents necessary for the research. Data collection techniques involve observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, encompassing data collection, reduction, presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. Based on the research findings, the full-day school system provides space for the madrasah to innovate and offer additional programs to support students in achieving national-level excellence. Efforts include motivating students, conducting public speaking training, organizing extracurricular activities based on interests and potentials, providing guidance for students participating in competitions from regional to national levels, forming MTQ competition communities, a teacher team seeking competition information, and most importantly, the madrasah implementing a one-student-one-achievement program.

Abstract

Effective leadership in the context of immigration management is an important element in achieving the country's goals of optimizing Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) and increasing progress in the immigration sector. This study explores the leadership role of Silmy Karim, a private figure who has responsibilities in the Directorate General of Immigration, by focusing on the influence of integrity and the spirit of defending the country in his leadership. The concept of learning by doing and the corporate management approach are also the focus in analyzing the strategies and principles applied by Silmy Karim. Through a qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, observations and study of related documents. The research results show that Silmy Karim's leadership significantly influenced the increase in PNBP and progress in immigration management. Integrating the values of integrity and the spirit of defending the country in the performance of the Directorate General of Immigration is the key to achieving significant results. The implications of private leadership in the management of government agencies are also highlighted in the closing.

Abstract

Pinisi can be said to be a symbol and symbol of extraordinary technical progress and is still based on high artistic values ​​and traditional culture. Because of the nature of the pinisi boat, it is not only used as a means of transportation or as a means of high value export commodities, but is also something of a symbolic nature. Because of its symbolic nature, in the process of making it as well as in the processes of launching it and its use it is required in traditional ceremonies which are based on belief in a power. By understanding the form and meaning of the Pinisi shipbuilding ritual, efforts can be made to preserve and develop this culture. Apart from that, this research can also provide deeper insight into the local wisdom and unique culture of the Bulukumba people. The distinctive and unique shape of the pinisi ship contains symbols that symbolize strength, courage, beauty and skill. The symbolism in the ritual of making pinisi ships in Bulukumba Regency illustrates the importance of the values ​​of togetherness, cooperation and collaboration in society. Abstract

Vocabulary mastery is one of the important keys that bridge the subject comprehension. Understanding new concepts, ideas, and principles requires knowledge and competence in using words in various settings. The success of English learning in ESP will then contribute to the success of understanding other subjects in the field. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the problems, needs, and feasible strategies in improving vocabulary mastery in vocational higher education settings. The total of 303 freshmen students participated in this study, along with 7 English lecturers who were teaching in their classes. A vocabulary test, open-ended questionnaire, and focus group discussion (FGDs) were used as instruments. The results present the current state of students’ vocabulary level. Moreover, a number of strategies were also recommended by the lecturer in terms of students’ English vocabulary learning dan development. Future research directions are also presented
