Abstract

Mental health is very necessary for someone in all their life activities, especially students who are currently studying. Mental health is crucial for the development of students, especially students in their teens. To achieve maximum motivation to learn, high mental health is required, however, if students are not mentally healthy, this is indicated by several things that happen to them, such as lack of enthusiasm for learning, lethargy, lack of enthusiasm, stress due to mental pressure, stress and so on. The research method used is quantitative research using field research with a correlation approach. The data collection technique in this research is using questionnaires and documentation. This research was conducted at Al-Azhar 3 Middle School in Bandar Lampung, namely regarding mental health and learning motivation. The results of hypothesis testing with Pearson Correlation obtained a value of 0.825 with a significance value of 0.000 (p-value < a = 0.05), which means a significant relationship exists between mental health and student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects in class IX of junior high school. Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung. It can be concluded that having healthy mental health will tend to increase high learning motivation, on the other hand, students with unhealthy mental health will tend to have low learning motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe character education values in lesson planning and describe character education values in thematic learning implementation in class IIIC of SD Negeri 35 South Pontianak. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study are to find out what character education values have been implemented in class IIIC of SD Negeri 35 South Pontianak. Researchers obtained the results by interviewing the IIIC class teacher in interviewing planning related to the value of character education, observation of the implementation in class IIIC was obtained by observing the IIIC class teacher at SDN South Pontianak.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions have an important role in empowering human resources (HR) that are able to compete globally. This research examines the role of Islamic educational institutions in developing competitive human resources through an adaptive curriculum that combines modern science with Islamic values, innovative learning methods, and strong character building programs. This approach produces individuals who are professionally competent, moral, and able to contribute in the global market. Using qualitative methods and literature review, this study reveals that the academic and moral integration carried out by Islamic educational institutions is able to prepare a generation with high integrity and competence to face global challenges.

Abstract

This development aims to (1) develop interactive multimedia based on problem solving on class V respiratory organs material at Ketangi Purworejo State Elementary School (2) determine the feasibility of problem solving based interactive multimedia on class V respiratory organs material at Ketangi Purworejo State Elementary School. This research uses a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) to complete this thesis. In this research, the researcher took subjects in class V of SD Negeri Ketangi Purworejo, totaling 17 students. This research produces data using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The questionnaire sheets in this research are validation sheets from media experts, material experts, practitioners, and student.The results of the research and development obtained are, (1) Producing the development of interactive multimedia based on problem solving on class V respiratory organ material at SD Negeri Ketangi Purworejo. This research uses the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disminate), (2) the feasibility of the product is obtained The average percentage is 94.4% with the criteria being very feasible and practical. The product gets a percentage of 77.5% with the criteria being very practical. It can be concluded that interactive multimedia based on problem solving in class V respiratory organ material at Ketangi Purworejo State Elementary School can be used because it meets the criteria. feasible, and practical.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain and Create (RADEC) learning model on creative thinking skills in the Natural and Social Sciences subject of grade IV SDN Joglo in the 2023/2024 academic year. The type of study used is a quantitative approach with an experimental method of one group pre-test post-test design. The population of the study was all students of grade IV SDN Joglo. The sample used in this study was grade IV with a total of 28 students. This study used a saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The results of the t-test calculation showed a significant sig value of 0.001 <0.05 and the acquisition of t-count (24.605)> t-count (2.052) at a significance level of α = 0.05. This proves that there is a significant influence between the use of the RADEC model on creative thinking skills in the IPAS subject of grade IV SDN Joglo in the 2023/2024. With the results of this study, it is recommended that elementary school teachers can consider the application of the RADEC learning model as an alternative creative and innovative learning model to improve students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

School-aged children are a vulnerable period because they are in a very rapid phase of growth and development, therefore it is necessary to instill understanding and maintenance habits early, one of which is through implementing clean and healthy living behavior (PHB). The implementation of PHBS can be carried out in the school environment, this aims to create a conducive learning atmosphere. Apart from supporting facilities, the role of teachers is very necessary to accompany and motivate students in implementing PHBS. This research aims to determine the relationship between the role of teachers and students' attitudes in implementing PHBS in the school environment. This research is a descriptive correlational study with a cross sectional approach. The total population in this study was 33 people, the sampling technique was the Nonprobability Sampling technique with a total sampling of 33 respondents. The data analysis used was the spearmen rank correlation test with a significance of p <0.05. The research results show that the role of teachers towards PHBS is mostly lacking as many as 17 respondents (51.5%), students' attitudes towards PHBS are mostly sufficient as many as 17 respondents (51.5%) and based on the results of data analysis the p value is obtained. p 0.233, which means there is a relationship between the teacher's role and students' attitudes in implementing PHBS at school.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the development of Vocational High Schools (SMK) based on regional potential and workforce needs in Indonesia. This study explores the relevance of the vocational school curriculum to regional potential and the needs of the local job market, identifies the challenges faced in developing regional potential-based education programs, and analyzes the influence of vocational school collaboration, industry and government on the quality of graduates and employment. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis. The research results show that the relevance of the vocational school curriculum to regional potential and local workforce needs still varies in various regions, with some vocational schools in urban areas succeeding in adapting their curriculum, while vocational schools in rural areas still face obstacles. The main challenges identified include limited facilities and infrastructure, lack of competent teaching staff, limited collaboration with industry, and suboptimal government support. This research also found that good cooperation between vocational schools, industry and government has a positive impact on the quality of graduates and employment. Based on these findings, this research recommends adjusting the curriculum, improving facilities and infrastructure, training and professional development for teachers, increasing collaboration with industry, and more optimal government support. By implementing these recommendations, it is hoped that vocational schools in Indonesia can develop into quality vocational education institutions capable of producing graduates who are ready to work and are competitive in the global market.

Abstract

This study is intended to identify there is no significant difference between the learning outcomes of students taught with the cooperative learning method of the type Jigsaw and the students learned with the conventional learning method in the Class X of the State Jaya High School of Makassar. This study involved all students in Jayanegara's 10th grade high school with a sample of 40 students. The sample consists of two classes, namely class XA as the experimental class and class XB as the control class. Testing learning results, documentation, and observation are the methods of data collection used. Based on the calculations of the pre-test data, the t test shows a count of 1,671, whereas the t-table is (0,05; 38) = 2,02439. Because of t-counting<t-table, that is 1,671 < 2.02439, it can be concluded that the abilities between the experimental class and the control class are not different. From the results of this study, the conclusion was drawn that there was a difference in the learning outcomes of students who used the cooperative learning method of Jigsaw with conventional methods. The authors suggest that teachers expand their knowledge and insight into innovative and creative learning approaches to improve the effectiveness of the teaching learning process

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Physical Education and Sports Curriculum in Higher Education and its Implementation. This research was conducted at UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta. This research is included in the type of qualitative research. The method used in this study is a survey. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations and documentation. The results of this study are the physical education and sports curriculum in Higher Education and how it is a form of appreciation and high commitment of Higher Education to sports development efforts as part of maintaining health and improving physical fitness as well as improving sports achievements among students. Supporting factors for the implementation of physical education and sports in Higher Education include the need for a curriculum with competent teaching staff including coaches and the role of relevant sports sciences and sports activity units that accommodate student sports activities. The conclusion of this study is that the Physical Education and Sports Curriculum in Higher Education has benefits for health through the goals of physical fitness and improving student sports achievements. The existence of the physical education and sports course curriculum, students are encouraged to be actively and sustainably motivated to carry out physical activities to stay healthy. The supporting function of student sports activities requires a teaching staff who is also capable as a trainer and coach who is able to help bring out all the potential of students to maintain achievements or to improve achievements in the field of sports. As a form of expressing student potential through the process of training and coaching, not just through the form of a teaching and learning process in theory or practice that only fulfills the goal of improving physical fitness. An important role for teaching staff for physical education and sports courses is chosen by someone who in addition to having teaching competence also has the competence to train and foster students in the chosen sport to improve their optimal achievements.

Abstract

Research related to character education habituation to realize the Pancasila student profile in the Independent Curriculum paradigm at GMIT Kuanino 2 Elementary School, Kupang City was carried out with the aims of: 1) knowing and describing the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the elementary learning process; 2) knowing and describing the actualization of Pancasila student profiles in learning; and 3) knowing and describing efforts to habituate elementary school students' character education to realize the Pancasila student profile in the Independent Curriculum paradigm. This type of research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The result of carrying out this research is that character education habituation for elementary school students to realize the Pancasila student profile in the Independent Curriculum paradigm is carried out through various strategies, including: 1) Integration in Learning: Integrating character values ​​in each subject. For example, in mathematics lessons, students are taught about honesty through activities related to measurements and calculations, 2) Extracurricular Activities: Organizing extracurricular activities that support character development, such as scouting, social activities, or art, which not only improve skills but also build cooperation and leadership; and 3) Teacher Example: The role of the teacher as a role model is very important. Teachers showing positive behavior and applying Pancasila values ​​in daily interactions have provided concrete examples for students.
