Abstract

Classroom management is one of the factors that significantly influences the quality and effectiveness of the learning process in schools. Effective classroom management can create a conducive learning environment and support students in better understanding the learning materials. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of classroom management in improving the effectiveness of the learning process. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research explores various aspects of classroom management that can affect the teaching and learning atmosphere, such as classroom arrangement, time management, and interpersonal relationships between teachers and students. The results indicate that good classroom management can enhance students' attention, minimize disruptions during the learning process, and help students focus more on the material being taught. Therefore, effective classroom management plays a crucial role in improving learning effectiveness.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in forming quality human resources. However, several regions in Indonesia actually experience educational gaps. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the factors that cause educational gaps in Indonesia, the role of educational management in influencing the quality of education implementation in various regions, and solutions that can be applied to minimize gaps in the Indonesian education system using the Systemic Literature Review (SLR) method. The results of the study indicate that the factors causing gaps in the quality of education in Indonesia include limited education funds, limited resources and infrastructure, less than optimal teacher quality, and a non-data-based evaluation system. The role of educational management in influencing the quality of education in various regions includes several supporting components, such as Human Resources (HR) management, facilities and infrastructure management, financial management, and educational supervision. The solution to minimize gaps in the Indonesian education system can be done by maximizing education funds, improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure, organizing effective teacher professional development programs, and increasing the participation of all education stakeholders. The results of this study are important in order to reveal the gap between ideals and reality in Indonesian education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of Aplikasi Rencana Kegiatan dan Anggaran Sekolah (ARKAS) in fulfilling the quality standards of school facilities and infrastructure. ARKAS was developed by the Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia as a digital system for transparent, accountable and efficient school budget management. This research uses the library research method to collect and analyze data from various relevant sources. The results show that the implementation of ARKAS has a positive impact on school budget management. ARKAS improves transparency, accountability and efficiency in budget planning, reporting and evaluation. In addition, ARKAS assists schools in meeting the quality standards of facilities and infrastructure set by the government, so that they can support an effective and quality learning process. The case study also shows that schools that successfully implement ARKAS can improve the quality of facilities and infrastructure optimally. The conclusion of this study is that ARKAS is an effective tool in managing school budgets and meeting the quality standards of facilities and infrastructure. Strategies are needed to optimize the implementation of ARKAS through collaboration with stakeholders, continuous monitoring and evaluation, and increasing user capacity through regular training.

Abstract

School quality control is a strategic step in ensuring the achievement of educational standards aimed at improving students' learning outcomes. This article aims to analyze the approaches, supporting factors, and impacts of school quality control on learning outcomes through a literature review. Quality control encompasses processes such as setting standards, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement involving various elements, including school leadership, teacher competence, learning facilities, and parental involvement. The findings indicate that effective implementation of quality control contributes to enhanced student engagement, academic achievement, and character development. Therefore, school quality control plays a crucial role in realizing sustainable quality education

Abstract

One of the biggest factors to enhance the quality of education in Indonesia is the educators themselves. The educator or teacher plays a big part in the process of education, which makes the process of recruiting teachers very important. This research aims to find the meaning of recruitment management in school, the process, the strategy, and the challenge of the recruitment process. Using collective works of literatures to study, this research uses the qualitative method approach. Based on the literature, it is concluded that recruitment management in school is a process that starts from planning the process until the placement of the candidates (teachers). There are a lot of strategies and challenges depending on the location of the school. It makes the recruitment management vary based on the location of the school.

Abstract

In the post-truth era, social media plays a strategic role in shaping public perceptions of school reputation. This article analyzes the role of public relations (PR) and social media as strategic tools for building school reputation through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Findings indicate that effective PR leveraging social media can create positive narratives supporting school image, enhancing public trust, and mitigating the impact of fake news. Social media functions not only as a communication channel but also as a collaboration tool among schools, students, and communities. The article concludes the importance of digital literacy, rapid response, and data-driven approaches in managing school reputation in the fast-paced information era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze financial resource management strategies in order to improve access and quality of education in the Frontier, Outermost, and Disadvantaged (3T) regions in Indonesia. The 3T region faces various challenges, such as limited infrastructure, shortage of educators, and limited access to learning facilities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data were obtained through in-depth studies and analysis of policy documents related to the education budget. The results of the discussion indicate that effective financial resource management can improve access and quality of education in the 3T region. The implementation of this strategy can reduce the gap in access and improve the quality of learning. This study recommends strengthening collaboration between the central and regional governments and non-governmental organizations to ensure effective and sustainable financial management in the 3T region. Optimal financial resource management in the 3T region is expected to achieve greater access to education and better quality education.

Abstract

Students' difficulties in writing description paragraphs in elementary school are often caused by disparities in abilities between students, which can hinder effective learning. The Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach can be an alternative solution to overcome this problem by grouping students based on their ability level. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the TaRL approach in improving student learning outcomes in the description paragraph material in grade IVB SDN Pedurungan Kidul 01. The method used is a pre-experiment design with a mixed method approach, combining quantitative data through pretest and posttest analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test and N-Gain tests, as well as qualitative data through observation of the learning process. The results showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes, with the average pretest score increasing from 46.43 to 72.14 in the posttest. The Paired Sample T-Test produced a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, showing a significant influence. Based on the N-Gain test, the effectiveness of the TaRL approach on student learning outcomes is in the medium category (0.5049). Qualitatively, the application of the TaRL approach also increases student motivation, engagement, and independence. In conclusion, the TaRL approach has proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes and creating learning that is inclusive and in accordance with the individual needs of students.

Abstract

In the context of the rapid advancement of technology, the implementation of digital platforms in education has become essential. This study focuses on students’ perceptions at SMP Attayyibah Kerinci regarding the use of an Android-based application e-Ujian for conducting final examinations. Employing a quantitative descriptive survey design, data are collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 226 Grade IX students. The study examines two primary variables: Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) and Perceived Usefulness (PU). The findings indicate overwhelmingly positive perceptions, with 91.7% of students agreeing that the application was easy to use, and 83.6% perceiving it as beneficial for exam efficiency and accuracy. However, areas such as answer modification and error reduction require refinement. The findings suggest that the e-Ujian application is an effective tool for modernizing assessments, offering significant advantages over traditional methods, such as reduced costs, enhanced security, and improved efficiency. Recommendations include user training, interface refinement, and future research into its broader applicability. The study concludes that the Android-based e-Ujian is a promising innovation for enhancing educational assessment processes.

Abstract

Penerapan kurikulum merdeka menghasilkan konsep merdeka belajar bagi peserta didik. Sebagai respon terhadap kurikulum merdeka, diterapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang disesuaikan dengan pemetaan gaya belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai kecenderungan gaya belajar pada peserta didik sebagai data untuk pengaplikasian pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada kelas 1C SD Supriyadi 1 Semarang. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya perbedaan keunikan cara belajar pada setiap peserta didik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas 1C yang berjumlah 28 anak. Penelitian ini berupa kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman yang terdiri dari mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar peserta didik kelas 1C SD Supriyadi 1 Semarang berupa visual 32%, auditori 25%, dan kinestetik sebesar 43%. Guru dapat menyesuaikan pembelajaran dengan gaya belajar setiap peserta didik, sehingga mereka merasa lebih nyaman selama proses pembelajaran. Dengan penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, peserta didik akan mendapatkan kesempatan untuk belajar melalui berbagai kegiatan pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan gaya belajar maisng-masing. Hal ini memungkinkan mereka untuk lebih terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran yang lebih variatif dan sesuai dengan cara mereka menyerap informasi.
