Abstract

This study explores how a conducive learning environment in P.A.U.D. affects early childhood development and public trust in schools. This study aims to identify critical factors that create a positive learning environment and provide practical recommendations for educators and policymakers. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data are collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The data obtained are analyzed using Milles and Huberman’s interactive analysis technique, which involves the process of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The analysis results show that collaboration between teachers, staff, parents, and children is essential in building a supportive learning atmosphere and increasing parental trust in the quality of education. Emotional support from teachers and the active participation of parents in school activities have proven crucial in creating a conducive environment. The conclusion of this study confirms that a conducive learning environment not only increases children’s motivation and achievement but also strengthens the relationship between schools and the community. The main contribution of this study is to provide an effective strategy for developing collaboration between schools, parents, and the community to create an optimal learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze curriculum management in improving teacher professional competence in madrasahs. The research method used is a qualitative case study type, where data is obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that effective curriculum management, which is reflected in the active involvement of teachers in constructive planning and supervision, has a substantial impact on improving teacher professional competence. However, this study also shows that there are weaknesses in the sense of creativity in the development of teaching materials and the use of learning media. Teacher competence can be improved through structured and inclusive curriculum management with technology integration in the learning process. This will provide new insights into formulating education policies for other madrasah. This study provides important implications for the development of curriculum management in madrasahs. With structured, inclusive curriculum management and the active involvement of teachers in every stage of planning, teacher professional competence can increase significantly.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of digital literacy and social media usage skills on digital leadership in higher education and the moderating role of digital security and antivirus software. This research uses the path analysis method with Smart PLS 4.0 software. They were conducted from January to February 2024, involving 100 management program students using the saturated sampling method. The research results show that digital literacy and social media usage skills positively and significantly affect digital leadership. Digital security also has a positive impact on digital leadership. However, the hypothesis regarding antivirus and security systems as moderating variables was rejected, indicating that they did not increase the influence of digital security or social media skills on digital leadership. This research contributes to developing university curricula and leadership programs by integrating aspects of digital security. The model successfully identified significant influences on digital leadership with high reliability and validity. The rejection of some moderation hypotheses suggests that further research is needed to understand the dynamics between these variables, paving the way for refining the model and exploring other influencing factors.

Abstract

“Program Sekolah Penggerak” is a strategic initiative and a challenge for principals in implementing the program, including limited human resources, demands for improving the quality of learning, and adaptation to educational transformation policies. This study aims to analyze principals' strategies after participating in the School Mover program, focusing on improving human resource performance and school learning quality. This study uses a qualitative case study approach. The research informants were three principals participating in the “Program Sekolah Penggerak”. Data analysis was done by summarizing transcripts, presenting information, drawing conclusions and verifying. The results of the study indicate that in improving human resource performance, principals involve teachers and staff in formulating schools (vision, mission, goals), implementing a participatory leadership approach, routinely identifying human resource development needs, building a collaborative culture, and giving awards for the achievements and contributions of teachers and staff. Improving the quality of learning is done by increasing academic standards, improving monitoring and evaluation activities, and optimizing differentiated learning. The leadership model of the principal after the School Mover program facilitation, which was originally instructional, tends towards a transformational leadership model.

Abstract

The development movement continues towards the digital transformation era, marked by rapid advances in information and computer technology (ICT) and the emergence of social media platforms that change the order of life to be more practical and accessible and deny the geographical distance between people. These changes require universities to adapt to the demands of rapid development. This study aims to explore the strategies carried out by university leaders in facing the challenges of the digital era and map the extent to which the transformation of university organizational culture is operated in the face of digital technology pressure. The research used a qualitative approach with a multi-site format in three private universities. Data analysis applies constant comparative analysis, which ends with a simultaneous analysis step. The results showed that university leaders are ready to implement an open strategy in facing the challenges of the digital era by utilizing these technological advances. However, there are differences in the utilization of network assets owned by institutions and the knowledge and experience of leaders. Organizational culture transformation is operated to the extent that institutions can master digital technology to optimize the performance of institutional services. Universities' engagement with digital technology does not disrupt the resilience of their organizational culture because it only leads to an adaptive surface layer.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of Islamic boarding schools in marketing education amidst the onslaught of educational competition that utilizes digital technology by non-Islamic boarding school educational institutions and to find the unique marketing values of Islamic boarding schools that have made them survive until now. The approach used is qualitative with a case study type. Data collection is done through interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis uses three interactive models: reduction, presentation, data depiction, and conclusion. The study results show that educational marketing is done by dominating social media, sharing information, activities, and achievements, and holding online registration. In addition, digital marketing is also carried out by managing websites and social media. These findings indicate that implementing a curriculum that focuses on students’ competence can be a model of adaptation for other Islamic boarding schools and influence educational marketing trends by directing strategies toward digital, increasing competitiveness, and preparing students to face future challenges. This Islamic boarding school also carries out digital content relevance in the form of graphic design training activities, applications, and creative videos and films.
