Abstract

 This study aims to analyze the application of Christian Religious Education (CRE) through the culture of "dining table" in Christian families in Ifar Besar, Sentani, Papua, and identify the spiritual dialectics that occur in the context of that culture. The background of this research is the shift of traditional values in society due to modernization, which has an impact on the decline in the quality of value and moral education in the family. The research method used is qualitative with an analytical description approach, involving the direct participation of family members involved in the practice of dining table culture. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, which were then analyzed inductively and descriptively. The results of the study show that the integration of PAK with the local culture of the dining table contributes to the internalization of family, spiritual, and social values in Christian families in Ifar Besar. This process strengthens family relationships, fosters spiritual life, and helps families overcome the challenges of modernization. In addition, the culture of the dining table also creates a spiritual dialectic in the form of value reflection, spiritual transformation, and resolution of value conflicts and roles in the family. This research emphasizes the importance of local culture-based education in shaping children's character and moral values, as well as offering a relevant and effective educational model in the context of modernization.

Abstract

Agency conflict plays a role in influencing a company's ability to maximize its performance. The performance of pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2016–2023 period has fluctuated. One of the influencing factors is ownership structure, which impacts the effectiveness of corporate management. This ownership structure is divided into three dimensions: ownership concentration, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership. This study aims to identify and examine the partial and simultaneous effects of  that three dimensions on the Performance of Pharmaceutical Sub-Sector Companies. The research employs a causal associative approach using a quantitative methodology, utilizing panel data analysis techniques involving 10 pharmaceutical sub-sector companies over an eight-year observation period. Consequently, 80 sample data points were processed using E-Views 12. The tests conducted in this study include classical assumption tests (normality test, autocorrelation test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test) and hypothesis tests (t-test, F-test, and R² test). The results indicate that, partially, ownership concentration and managerial ownership do not significantly affect company performance, whereas institutional ownership has a positive simultaneous effect on company performance. The simultaneous test results show that the three independent variables in this study collectively influence company performance by 40%.

Abstract

Students who do not have confidence in expressing their opinions, do not dare to ask questions when they do not understand the subject matter are characteristics of low self-confidence. This is due to shyness, hesitation, and feelings of insecure seeing friends who have high self-confidence. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of counseling teachers in increasing students' self-confidence and identify the factors that cause low self-confidence in students at MIS Timbang Lawan. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods with information collection techniques using observation, documentation and interviews. Participants in this study were 1 counseling teacher at MIS Timbang Lawan and 5 students. The results of the analysis found, where the counseling teacher helped students in identifying strengths, developing a goal plan and increasing student self-awareness at MIS Timbang Lawan. With emotional support and strategic guidance, counseling teachers help students overcome difficulties, improve academic achievement and achieve life goals. The implications are expected to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student development so that students at MIS Timbang Lawan can increase self-confidence in themselves.

Abstract

The rapid digital transformation in higher education has significantly impacted financial transaction systems, with electronic money (e-money) emerging as a pivotal technological innovation. This mixed-methods research comprehensively investigates the utilization, challenges, and implications of digital payment systems within academic institutions. By employing a sophisticated research design that integrates quantitative and qualitative methodologies, the study explores the adoption, user experiences, and technological infrastructure of e-money in higher education settings. The research encompassed a diverse sample of academic stakeholders across multiple universities, utilizing stratified random sampling to ensure representative data collection. Key findings reveal a substantial digital payment adoption rate of 72% among students and 68% among academic staff, indicating a significant shift towards digital financial ecosystems. The study identified critical factors influencing e-money adoption, including system security, user interface design, accessibility, and technological infrastructure. Notably, the research uncovered substantial variations in digital payment adoption based on socioeconomic backgrounds and geographical locations. Transaction efficiency improved by approximately 67%, with payment processes reduced from an average of 15-20 minutes to less than 3 minutes. However, challenges persist, with 33% of respondents reporting technical difficulties and accessibility concerns. The research contributes significant insights into the digital transformation of financial transactions in higher education, highlighting the need for inclusive technological strategies, robust security mechanisms, and continuous user education. Recommendations include enhancing technological infrastructure, developing user-centric design approaches, and fostering collaborative ecosystems between educational institutions, technology providers, and regulators. This study provides a comprehensive framework for understanding the complex dynamics of e-money adoption in academic environments, offering valuable perspectives for policymakers, educational administrators, and technology developers. By examining the intersection of technology, user experience, and institutional practices, the research illuminates the evolving landscape of digital financial systems in higher education.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the education pattern of the Baduy community.  The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method and seeks the necessary data by direct observation in the Baduy Tribe and conducting interviews with the traditional leaders of the Baduy Community.  The elements of perennialism found in the education pattern of the Baduy community are basic knowledge that is eternal and universal, upholding cultural heritage, parents and communities having a role in guiding cultural values to the younger generation, character education and experience-based learning in upholding traditional values.  and cultural heritage.

Abstract

In the journey of SMK IT Dompu, it cannot be separated from the role of a leader who is fully responsible for managing the SMK in expanding and developing the institution, to make students, educators and education personnel who have reliable skills and personalities. The leader has the task of directing and organizing educational institutions in order to achieve the desired goals. In carrying out their duties and functions, the Principal has their own leadership strategy which greatly influences the performance of the education personnel in their respective work environments. Failure and success are largely determined by the principal, because the principal is the controller and determiner of the direction the school wants to take towards its goals. The formulation of the problem in this study is as follows (1) What is the leadership strategy of the Principal of Integrated Islamic Vocational School Dompu in managing the Integrated Islamic Vocational School? (2) What are the leadership characteristics of the Principal of Integrated Islamic Vocational School Dompu in managing the Integrated Islamic Vocational School? (3) What are the efforts of the Principal in realizing the Integrated Islamic Vocational School Dompu? This study aims to describe (1) The leadership strategy of the vocational school principal in managing the Dompu Integrated Islamic Vocational School, (2) The leadership characteristics of the vocational school principal in managing the Dompu Integrated Islamic Vocational School, (3) The efforts of the vocational school principal in realizing the Dompu Integrated Islamic Vocational School. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian lapangan yaitu metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif interpretatif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi. Simpulan penelitian. Terdapat empat strategi pokok dalam mengelola yaitu: (1) perencanaan, (2) pengorganisasian, (3) melaksanakan pekerjaan sesuai dengan perencanaan yang telah ditetapkan, (4) melaksanakan tugas pengawasan dan pengendalian. Adapun ciri-ciri kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (1) menggunakan prinsip Rasulullah Muhammad SAW yaitu “Uswatun Khasanah” (teladan dalam bertutur kata, berbuat dan berperilaku), Upaya kepala SMK dalam mewujudkan SMK Islam Terpadu Dompu yaitu: (1) peningkatan mutu tenaga pendidik, (2) peningkatan mutu peserta didik, (3) perbaikan administrasi sekolah, (4) kegiatan belajar mengajar yang kondusif, (5) peningkatan sarana dan prasarana, (6) kurikulum yang bermutu dengan mengacu pada kurikulum 2013 (7) penerapan manajemen berbasis sekolah.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the process of implementing P5 themed on local wisdom in coastal Padang Beach, explore traditions such as rabana, pukkek, and soccer, and develop learners' social competencies. In addition, the research measured the impact of P5 and provided recommendations for future program improvements. The research method is field qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study reveal that the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) with the theme of local wisdom at SMAN 1 Padang is a learning platform that enriches students' character and cultural awareness. Through a careful preparation stage, the school formed a team of facilitators and developed a module to guide students to understand Padang's coastal culture in depth. In the implementation phase, students interacted directly with the Ulak Karang Utara community, learning the art of rabana that strengthens togetherness, as well as fishing techniques with pukkek that reflect the spirit of mutual cooperation. This experience broadened students' horizons about cultural resilience, cooperation, and the importance of preserving local heritage. Evaluation is conducted through portfolios that record student and educator reflections, revealing successes in building pride in local culture as well as challenges that need to be refined, such as expanding collaboration with community institutions. Overall, the implementation of P5 not only deepens students' cultural understanding, but also reinforces the values of Pancasila in their daily lives. With the sustainability of the program and the support of various parties, this model has the potential to become an inspiration for other schools in Indonesia, integrating character education with the preservation of local culture as a foundation for strengthening national identity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of language in prayer in relation to ethical decision-making within the GKI Klasis Waibu Moi congregation. The problem explored is how prayer language affects ethical decisions, considering that prayer is often viewed as a monotonous routine that can lead to spiritual dryness. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, analyzing data from prayer recordings. Data collection involved documenting prayer recordings, which were then transcribed, reduced, presented in tables, and analyzed. Data analysis utilized Miles and Huberman's method. The results indicate that prayer language plays a crucial role in reflection and meditation, petitions, and the expression of spiritual values. Prayers involving deep reflection, sincere petitions, and expressions of values such as humility, love, honesty, justice, and hope significantly impact ethical decision-making and strengthen the spiritual relationship with God.

Abstract

Women's representation in politics is a form of women's participation in supervising every policy process so that the impact of the policy will be in accordance with gender-based interests. Women's representation in the process of formulating and determining policies is a concrete step to support the realization of justice and equality for women (Firman, 2018). In this context, women have a broad role in joining women's organizations and political parties to provide adequate space in channeling their aspirations. The lack of responsive gender policies makes the role of women in political contestation not yet encourage the level of representation in politics (Priandi & Roisah, 2019). The active role of women can be realized through participation by carrying out women's obligations as citizens, namely influencing the process of determining public policies through a representative mechanism that can accommodate women's interests (Rodiyah, 2016). This study seeks to find out whether there is an influence between female leaders in political parties (this paper focuses on PSI Indonesia) and the political participation of other female political party members.

Abstract

One of the ways authors express literary works is through the use of language styles. Language style has a function that can influence the reader which can make the reader interested in what the author conveys. This research is entitled "Language Style in the novel Big Plan to Die with Calm by Wisnu Suryaning Adji". The purpose of this study is to describe the use of style in hyperbole, irony, and personification in the novel The Great Plan to Die with Tranquility by Wisnu Suryaning Adji. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Based on the results of the study, the author uses hyperbolic language style to emphasize excess, describe emotional tension, create dramatic effects, give an impression of humor. The use of ironic language styles for the contrast between hope and reality, dissatisfaction and frustration, social criticism, emotional reflection, and gives a more complex layer of meaning. Using his own personification language style, the author aims to bring objects and concepts to life, create an emotional impression, add aesthetic beauty to the novel Big Plan to Die with Tenang by Wisnu Suryaning Adji.
