Abstract

This study aims to discuss the concept of Islamic education from the perspective of K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari. His thoughts are rooted in classical Islamic treasures, especially the Shafi'iyyah and Sufism traditions, but remain relevant to the modern context. The focus of this study includes the objectives, curriculum, methods, evaluation, and contributions of his education to society. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, namely reviewing the works of K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari such as Adab al-'Alim wa al-Muta'allim and relevant secondary literature, then analyzed descriptively and analytically. The results of the study indicate that the goal of education according to K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari is to form a perfect human being who is knowledgeable, moral, faithful, and beneficial to the community. The educational curriculum he initiated emphasizes the teaching of turats books and adab as the core, but remains open to general knowledge that supports the religious mission. The educational methods applied include sorogan, bandongan, halaqah, uswah hasanah, and riyadhah, which integrate cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects. According to him, educational evaluation emphasizes the blessings of knowledge, morals, and practice, not merely academic achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the normative potential of hadiths in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim in strengthening gender equality within Islam. The research is motivated by the persistence of patriarchal interpretations that often marginalize women from public life, thereby necessitating a more just and contextual reinterpretation. Employing a qualitative design through library research, the study examines hadith texts alongside classical and contemporary scholarly interpretations. Data analysis follows Miles and Huberman’s framework of reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings identify six major themes on gender: prohibition of gender impersonation, the Prophet’s  exhortation to treat women kindly, the virtue of raising daughters, prioritizing mothers over fathers, the ethics of patience in marital relations, and the Prophet’s  role model in domestic life, education, and leadership. Classical interpretations emphasize moral and spiritual dimensions, while contemporary scholars extend the discourse toward social-political equality and patriarchal deconstruction. The study’s implications highlight hadith as a normative basis for advancing gender equality in education, family, and leadership within contemporary Muslim societies. The originality of this research lies in its integration of hadith analysis with modern gender theories (Judith Butler, Amina Wadud, and maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah), offering a novel framework for Islamic and gender studies.

Abstract

The Independent Learning Curriculum in Indonesia emphasizes flexibility in learning that is tailored to students' needs and interests. Teachers are expected to have teaching strategies that can increase students' learning motivation, especially in economics subjects that are often considered boring by some students. This study aims to examine the role of teacher creativity in increasing students' learning motivation in economics learning. The method used in this study is a literature study or literature review. The results of the study show that teacher creativity greatly influences student motivation. Creative teachers can design interesting learning materials, use innovative media, and create a fun and interactive learning atmosphere. This has a positive impact on students' interest and enthusiasm in taking economics lessons, as well as improving their learning outcomes. Teacher creativity, which is reflected in critical thinking skills, flexibility, and the ability to evaluate and adapt teaching methods to students' needs, plays an important role in the success of learning. This study concludes that creative teachers can create a more effective learning process, help students achieve academic goals, and develop competencies that are important for their future.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of student creativity in collage visual art through the use of the Project Based Learning model in Class II of SD Negeri 6 Sokong for the 2024/2025 academic year. The background of this research is the low level of student creativity in art learning, as indicated by a lack of confidence in expressing ideas, limited variety in artworks, and minimal active participation in the creative process. The research employed a qualitative approach using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 15 second-grade students of SD Negeri 6 Sokong. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews. The instruments used included student activity observation sheets and student creativity assessment sheets. The results of the study showed that the application of the Project Based Learning model was effective in enhancing students' creativity in visual art. This was evidenced by an increase in student participation in planning and completing projects, greater confidence in expressing ideas, as well as improved quality and diversity in the students' artworks. The learning process became more meaningful as students were actively engaged, worked collaboratively, and completed real-world projects that aligned with their interests and abilities. Thus, the Project Based Learning model can be considered an effective alternative in art education to develop students’ creative potential from an early age, especially in the field of collage visual art.
