Abstract

Classroom learning becomes a space for teacher actualization in applying creative learning media. The use of creative learning media is important for teachers in the teaching and learning process with students. Using varied strategies will reduce students' levels of boredom and will increase students' interest in learning. This research method is qualitative research in which researchers directly carry out observations and interviews in the field located in class 1A of SDN Sumampir. The research subjects themselves were students in class 1A. It is hoped that it will be able to arouse interest and stimulate learning activities in students, help the effectiveness of the learning process, attract and direct students' attention to concentrate on the content of the lesson, facilitate the achievement of goals to understand and remember the information provided, make learning more interesting, bring freshness and new variations. for students' learning experiences, especially in Indonesian language subjects. From the above, researchers have learning media that can be a solution and can be developed, namely "Smart Snakes and Ladders". In this media, researchers want class 1A students at SDN Sumampir to be more familiar with letters so they can read fluently. The media that the researchers developed aims to enable students to continue playing without realizing that they are actually learning. In terms of the average test scores before implementing the smart snakes and ladders learning media, the average score for daily tests chapters 1 – 4 was 68.78. After implementing using smart snakes and ladders, daily tests were carried out in chapters 5 – 8, the average score was 88.83. It can be seen that the value has increased drastically. This indicates that class 1A students at SDN Sumampir prefer learning Indonesian using creative learning media such as smart snakes and ladders. Apart from that, smart snakes and ladders are said to have succeeded in increasing students' interest in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the content of the novel Lambung Mangkurat using the semiotic theory introduced by Charles Sanders Peirce as its analytical framework. This analytical approach involves the identification and discussion of icons, indices, and symbols present in the narrative of the novel. The study adopts a library research approach with a qualitative interpretive method. The data used comes from various primary and secondary sources, which are then interpreted descriptively. The data collection method in this study involves the use of documentation techniques and a review of library materials. The analysis results show that the spread of gossip in the Negara Dipa community about Lambung Mangkurat, who asks for toys from adults borrowing them, is an icon of Lambung Mangkurat's attitude when begging for the throne from Arya Megasari. On the other hand, the accusations and insults directed at Lambung Mangkurat represent an index of the political conspiracy designed by some officials of Negara Dipa to eliminate Lambung Mangkurat from the political arena in the region. Additionally, the slanderous actions by Arya Megasari and Tatah Jiwa to tarnish Lambung Mangkurat's reputation can be interpreted as a symbol of their hatred and fear towards Lambung Mangkurat's ambition to seize the throne of Empu Jatmika.

Abstract

This research aims to examine education financing planning strategies in the field of junior high school education development at the Maybrat District Education Office. This study was carried out using a bibliographic approach, which involved collecting secondary data from various relevant literature sources. The main findings of this research show that the main source of education financing in Maybrat Regency comes from the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) and School Operational Assistance Funds (BOS). However, this funding allocation is often insufficient to meet school operational and development needs. In addition, some schools are trying to find alternative funding sources through collaboration with private institutions and non-governmental organizations, although these initiatives are still limited. This research also found that transparency and accountability in the management of education funds need to be improved through financial management training and the implementation of an integrated financial information system. In addition, annual budget planning carried out by schools in Maybrat Regency needs to be performance-based and more flexible in dealing with changing needs. Other challenges include limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as limited accessibility due to remote geographical conditions. Recommendations from this research include diversifying funding sources through developing partnerships with the private sector and non-governmental organizations, strengthening financial management capacity through regular training, optimizing the use of funds through performance-based budgeting, and increasing community involvement in planning and monitoring education financing. It is hoped that the implementation of these strategies can improve the quality of education and create a more conducive learning environment for students in Maybrat Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to improve cognitive abilities in young children, this is motivated by the underdevelopment of children's cognitive abilities in the aspects of counting and understanding the concepts of shape, size, pattern and color. Children are only able to sort numbers but are not yet able to match the numbers with the objects being counted or children are not even able to understand simple shapes such as geometric shapes, distinguish colors and sizes or shapes from one object to another, and are even familiar with the concept of patterns, children are still confused. . So this research aims to improve children's cognitive abilities through flannel board APE. The flannel board is a simple APE where all the numbers and pictures on the board can be disassembled and assembled, making it easier for teachers or children to play with it. The research method in this study is classroom action research by developing the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. The data analysis technique is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The class teacher as a collaborator with the researcher carries out activities together from start to finish. The research results cannot be generalized to every problem. The results of this research can contribute ideas to help answer problems. From the research conducted there was a significant increase in initial mathematical abilities in children aged 4-5 years, namely there was an increase from pre-cycle which only reached 16% to 50% and increased again in the second cycle reaching 66% up to the third cycle to 83 .3% and it can be stated that the use of flannel boards can provide a solution to improve the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years at the Baiturrahman Islamic Kindergarten in Tanjung, North Lombok
