Abstract

The problems faced by partners so far are: (1) lack of appropriate methods to use in teaching, (2) lack of ability of Indonesian language teachers in drama, (3) teachers at SMP N 2 Medan do not hone their drama skills because there is no guidance that is more proficient in theory and practice. The objectives of this community service activity are: (1) to provide drama assistance using the sociodrama model as one of the innovative drama models, (2) to provide assistance in drama practice of students at SMP N 2 Medan, (3) to provide ongoing guidance and assistance. The benefits obtained by partners from this activity are: (1) to improve the drama skills using the sociodrama model of SMP N 2 Medan teachers so that it can be used as a method in teaching; (2) to attract the attention of students and motivate students to be enthusiastic about learning. The approach method used to overcome partner problems is the method of education, training and mentoring intensively and continuously. The real output results of community service activities are (1) One scientific article published through an online ISSN journal from a national seminar; (2) Publication in print/ online mass media/ university repositories; (3) Learning Videos.

Abstract

Mertan Village, Sukoharjo has excellent potential in the livestock and agricultural sectors that support goatfarming businesses. This potential has not been utilized by farmers due to lack of knowledge and skills in feedprocessing. Providing good and appropriate feed to goats will increase livestock productivity and farmer income.Skills regarding reproduction by farmers are also still not optimal. Livestock have not been able to achieve efficientreproduction. As a solution to this problem, community service activities are carried out so that farmers can implementimproved feed management through the manufacture of complete feed and silage processing. Improvement in thereproductive aspect can be done by providing assistance to farmers on good and correct reproductive management.The methods used in this community service activity include the transfer of knowledge presented in extensionactivities in the form of: (1) introduction to types of goat feed ingredients, (2) Preparation of complete pellet feed andsilage for goats, (3) Application of feed manufacturing technology, (4) Socialization of goat livestock reproductionmanagement (5) Monitoring and assistance. The results of the activities are that farmers understand and are able toproduce quality feed and carry out reproductive improvements. The community service program that wasimplemented had a positive impact on farmers in Mertan Village, Sukoharjo. The understanding and skills of goatfarmers have increased with this activity. Farmers gain knowledge transfer in the form of types of feed ingredients,feed improvement technology, making quality feed and livestock reproduction efficiency. Farmers' participation inthis activity was very enthusiastic and responded well and received benefits from increasing the productivity of BoerGoat farming

Abstract

Children are vulnerable to unintentional injuries, such as lacerations, bruises, burns, nosebleeds, muscle strains,and so on. Home and school environments are the most common places where children get injuries. Injuries that are nottreated properly can cause infections and disabilities that affect children's daily functions. Children require education andtraining from a young age to improve their knowledge and awareness of protecting themselves and administering primarywound care. This community service activity was carried out at Marsudirini Elementary School, Gedangan, Semarangwith 52 participating students from grades 1, 2, and 3. The educational method was to provide material with a lecturemethod on the types and the dangers of injuries, as well as training and practice on handling various types of injuries.Evaluation of the activity was carried out by administering a pretest-posttest questionnaire. The results of this activityshowed an increase in students' knowledge at Marsudirini Elementary School, Gedangan, Semarang before and afterproviding education related to first aid for injuries.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which children experience impaired growth, so that their height is notappropriate for their age due to chronic nutritional problems. In Bagan Deli urban village, Medan Belawan subdistrict, stunting in children under five is a public health problem. The proportion of stunted children in BaganDeli Village is 10.37%, and children with poor nutrition (below the red line) is 2.9%. The service activity wascarried out on Friday, July 26, 2024 in Bagan Deli Village with participants as many as 10 members of theIndonesian Coastal Women's Group (KPPI) partners and 10 pregnant women and mothers who have toddlers. Thepurpose of the service activity is to increase participants' understanding and knowledge, especially related tostunting and skills in processing moringa leaf meatballs made from fish. The service method was carried out byconducting socialization / training on stunting and cooking demonstrations as well as pre-test and post-test tomeasure participants' understanding and knowledge before and after the material was delivered. The resultsshowed an increase in knowledge before and after the training. Of the 20 training participants, the average increasein respondents' knowledge was 1.7, which showed that this increase was statistically significant.

Abstract

This study aims to test and determine the influence of work characteristics, work design, organizationalculture and employee performance of the National Narcotics Office of Binjai City. The method used is aquantitative approach with the help of the SPSS application. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis.The sample in this study was 36 respondents. Primary data collection uses questionnaires. And the results of thisstudy show that the characteristics, work design and organizational culture have a positive and significant effecton the performance of employees of the Binjai City National Narcotics Agency Office..

Abstract

This study explores the implementation and efficacy of the card method in teaching alphabets and numbers to students in Methodist elementary schools. The card method, characterized by the use of visual and interactive learning tools, aims to increase studentengagement and improve learning outcomes in basic literacy and arithmetic. A quasi-experimentaldesign was used, involving two groups of first-graders: the experimental group, which was taughtusing the card method, and the control group, which received traditional instruction. Data iscollected through pre and post-test, classroom observation, and student and teacher feedback. Theresults showed that the experimental group showed a much higher advantage in alphabetrecognition and number understanding compared to the control group. Students who are taught bythe card method show greater enthusiasm and participation during the lesson, as observed by theteacher. Additionally, this method has been found to be highly effective in accommodating diverselearning styles, providing a multisensory learning experience that supports visual, auditory, andkinesthetic learners. The study concludes that the card method is a valuable instructional tool inearly education, fostering an engaging and effective learning environment. Recommendations foreducators include integrating card-based activities into the curriculum to support basic literacy andnumeracy skills. Further research is suggested to explore the long-term impact of the card methodon academic achievement and its application in different educational settings.

Abstract

The "Integrated Programming English" program aims to improve multimodal literacy, includingprogramming-based English language skills, among students and teachers at MTs SKB 3 Minister Sinar Serdang. Thisprogram involves practical training using lecture methods, demonstrations, simulations and interactive exercises.Through a project-based approach with the Scratch platform, participants are trained to combine language andtechnology skills to solve problems and express themselves creatively. The results of the training showed an increasein participants' motivation to learn English, independence, and language and programming skills. Participants becomemore critical and independent in using technology, increase creativity, and strengthen their ability to work in teams.The positive response to this modern learning method also shows that the integration of technology in languagelearning is not only accepted but also recognized as a relevant and interesting innovation for students. This programopens up opportunities for further adoption in other educational environments to support student competence in facingthe digital challenges of the 21st century

Abstract

This research is motivated by looking at the many phenomena that show workload and workenvironment have an important role in improving employee performance. The aim of this research is to describethe workload, work environment, and performance of employees at the Kabanjahe Religious Court. Thisresearch used a descriptive-qualitative approach with a sample size of 20 employees who were used asrespondents. The data source used in this research is primary data, with data collection techniques usingquestionnaire, observation and interview methods. The results of this research show that the workload at theKabanjahe Religious Court can be said to be still not appropriate because there is still excess work due to a lackof staff. Apart from that, the work environment is good; however, it still requires improvement in several areas,especially the completeness and suitability of facilities supporting work implementation. This has an impact onemployee performance because it can slow down the process of completing work. The performance of theemployees is also good; it's just that two-way communication is needed between leaders and employees toobtain in-depth information about employee performance problems

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out organizational citizen behavior (OCB), organizationalcommitment and self efficacy affect employee performance, to find out organizational citizen behavior (OCB)and organizational commitment affect self efficacy, to find out organizational citizen behavior (OCB) affectsemployee performance through self efficacy, and to find out whether organizational commitment affects employeeperformance PT Pelindo Multi Terminal through self efficacy. The population in this study is 178 employeesworking at PT Pelindo Multi Terminal. The sample in the study was 64 employees taken using the slovin formula.The data collection technique used in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The analysistechnique in the study uses SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) starting from model measurement (outer model),model structure (inner model) and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that organizational citizenbehavior (OCB), commitment to organization and self efficacy affect employee performance, organizationalcitizen behavior (OCB) and commitment to organization affect employee performance, organizational citizenbehavior (OCB) affects employee performance through self efficacy and commitment to organization affects theperformance of HR employees of PT Pelindo Multi Terminal through self efficacy.

Abstract

Leadership is the ability to stimulate, mobilize, direct, coordinate and influence others in doing somethingto achieve organizational goals. The success or failure of efforts to achieve organizational goals is determined by thequality of leadership. The problem in this study is how the role of leadership in improving employee discipline andperformance. This study aims to determine the role of leadership in improving employee discipline and performanceat PT Duta Intidiya Tbk (Watsons Indonesia). The data collection method used in the study is descriptive analysis.The results of this study show that the role of the leadership of PT Duta Intidaya Tbk (Watsons Indonesia) in improvingemployee performance is quite good in improving employee performance, which can be seen in terms of sales thathave increased in achievements, where sales results have increased. From the role of the leader, he has also provideddirections that establish good cooperation among employees by providing support, guidance, and input to employeesto be able to improve their performance. The leadership always directly monitors the problems that occur and conveyssome information about the company to external parties of the company for a work plan and policy in the smoothperformance of the company.
