Abstract

In the last two decades in Egypt, there have been several national initiatives to face child sexual abuse; however, sexual abuse rates are still high. Stories can teach sensitive messages in a friendly and safe way to children. A child develops through stories, skills in simulation, and observation, and realizes that they are not alone; there are others like them. The purpose of this study is to review English and Arabic children's stories to define the extent to which they incorporate Islamic culture by analyzing body safety education criteria and cultural adaptation themes. This study conducted a literature review of eight children's stories that address body safety education. To analyze, I generate a new tool, the Culturally Adapted Body Safety Framework (CABSF), which was developed to assess content based on two categories: firstly, 8 criteria of body safety education that include body autonomy, personal boundaries, trusted adults, help-seeking, emotional literacy, empowering messages, anatomically correct language of private parts, and safe vs. unsafe touch. Secondly, Cultural Adaptation incorporates five themes that contain engaging visual narratives, real-world stories, awareness of sexual harassment, Islamic culture, and language. The results indicate that the eight stories lacked Islamic values and narrative elements of a story, but rather served as speeches or advice. Awareness of sexual harassment is implicit, not explicit. This study asserts the tailoring of child sexual abuse prevention stories that are culturally adapted to Egyptian and Muslim cultures.

Abstract

Early mathematics learning is essential for developing elementary students’ numeracy skills, yet rote-based instruction often limits conceptual understanding. Therefore, meaningful and active approaches such as multisensory learning within a deep learning framework are needed. This study aims to examine multisensory approaches in supporting deep learning-oriented early mathematics instruction through a narrative literature review of relevant sources published in the last ten years. Data were analyzed using thematic synthesis focusing on theoretical foundations, implementation strategies, and empirical findings. The results show that multisensory approaches enhance conceptual understanding, student engagement, and overall learning quality, while aligning with deep learning principles that emphasize meaningful and joyful learning. However, studies explicitly integrating both approaches in early mathematics remain limited. Thus, further development of integrative instructional models is recommended to support meaningful and sustainable mathematics learning.

Abstract

Elementary IPAS learning requires innovative instructional models to develop students’ creative thinking, scientific literacy, and readiness for technology-based sustainable education. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Scientific Reading-Based Project (SRBP) model in elementary IPAS learning from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of reputable national and international publications within the last five years (2020–2025), supported by an analysis of empirical research findings related to SRBP implementation. The findings show that SRBP effectively enhances students’ creative thinking skills, scientific literacy, and learning motivation through the integration of digital scientific reading and technology-based learning resources. In addition, SRBP promotes contextual project-based learning oriented toward real-world problem solving and strengthens students’ engagement and collaboration. Therefore, SRBP can be considered an innovative instructional model that supports the development of sustainable and technology-based IPAS learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Abstract

This research is motivated by the habit of teaching teachers not using various models or only using conventional methods in the form of lectures, with the result that there are still many students who do not meet the KKM. The purpose of this study was to find out how much the thematic learning outcomes of the Beautiful Togetherness Theme of Sound Reflection Science material through the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model. The learning model used in this study is with 2 cycles. The increase in student learning outcomes in learning using the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model is proven by the average classical mastery in the pre-cycle of 50.00, in cycle I it becomes 60.80 and in cycle II it becomes 81.12, so it can be concluded that through the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model can improve Thematic learning outcomes in IVC class SDIT Jumapolo students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 01 Tohudan. The research conducted aims to improve student learning outcomes by using a Project Based Learning Model. The form of this research is classroom action research using a cycle model. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, action, observation, and reflection. As the research object were the fourth grade students of SDN 01 Tohudan, totaling 26 children. Researchers in selecting objects not individually, but classically. Data collection is done by observing, testing, and documents. From the results of this study revealed the problem of students' low understanding of the material Changing Ordinary Fractions to Mixed Fractions so that the results of learning this material many students get scores below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), namely 70 in pre-cycle learning. Then the researcher made improvements to learning mathematics through two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. In Cycle I students obtained an average of 71.92 with 73.08% completeness and Cycle II obtained an average of 82.69 with 100% completeness. The results of the research using the Project Based Learning Model. Students' understanding of the material of Changing Ordinary Fractions into Mixed Fractions in class IV SD Negeri 01 Tohudan can improve student achievement in learning mathematics

Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of innovative learning models that are relevant to technological developments and the characteristics of elementary school students in the digital era. Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning requires an approach that is contextual, meaningful, and able to actively involve students in the learning process. One of the appropriate models is Project Based Learning (PjBL), especially when integrated with interactive digital media. This study aimed to analyze and synthesize research findings related to the implementation of the PjBL model assisted by interactive digital media in Grade IV elementary school IPAS learning. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA approach. Data sources were obtained from the PoPCites database through stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. From the initial 100 articles, 20 relevant articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed comprehensively. The results showed that the implementation of PjBL assisted by interactive digital media such as Canva, Padlet, Wordwall, Genially, YouTube, and Augmented Reality was able to improve student motivation, learning participation, conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, and learning outcomes in IPAS subjects. Interactive digital media also helped transform abstract IPAS concepts into more concrete, visual, and meaningful learning experiences. Therefore, the PjBL model assisted by interactive digital media is considered an effective and adaptive learning strategy to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and the development of 21st-century competencies in elementary schools.
