Abstract

Indonesian children in Malaysia who come from migrant families often face limited access to education, including in dealing with learning difficulties such as dyslexia. This community service activity aims to assist children with dyslexia through the application of the team teaching method in an informal learning environment. The implementation method is carried out in a collaborative participatory manner by involving teachers and volunteers as the main facilitators in the learning process. The program is implemented in three stages: team teaching method training, classroom learning assistance, and evaluation of child development. The results of the activity show that this approach is able to create a more interactive and focused learning atmosphere, improve basic reading skills, and build children's self-confidence. Teachers also feel the benefits of dividing roles in managing the class and adjusting learning strategies more effectively. Parental involvement is limited, but does not hinder the course of the activity. This community service suggests the team teaching method as an effective learning strategy for migrant children with special learning needs, especially dyslexia, in the context of informal education.Anak-anak Indonesia di Malaysia yang berasal dari keluarga migran sering menghadapi keterbatasan akses pendidikan, termasuk dalam menangani kesulitan belajar seperti disleksia. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi anak-anak dengan disleksia melalui penerapan metode team teaching di lingkungan belajar informal. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan secara partisipatif kolaboratif dengan melibatkan guru dan relawan sebagai fasilitator utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Program dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap: pelatihan metode team teaching, pendampingan belajar di kelas, serta evaluasi perkembangan anak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih interaktif dan terfokus, meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dasar, serta membangun kepercayaan diri anak. Guru juga merasakan manfaat dari pembagian peran dalam mengelola kelas dan menyesuaikan strategi belajar secara lebih efektif. Keterlibatan orang tua bersifat terbatas, namun tidak menghambat jalannya kegiatan. Pengabdian ini menyarankan metode team teaching sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk anak-anak migran dengan kebutuhan belajar khusus, khususnya disleksia, dalam konteks pendidikan informal.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V pada mata Pelajaran Matematika di SD Negeri Pasucen 02 masih perlu ditingkatkan untuk mendukung pemecahan masalah secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media STEM Lidi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental one group pretest-posttest, melibatkan 27 siswa kelas V, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan data terdistribusi normal, nilai uji t sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 (Ha diterima), dan n-gain sebesar 0,53 (kategori sedang), mengindikasikan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis sebesar 53,09%. Dengan demikian, model Problem Based Learning berbantuan media STEM Lidi terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V.

Abstract

Academic supervision plays a strategic role in enhancing the quality of learning in elementary schools. However, in rural schools, the practice of supervision tends to be predominantly administrative, with an evaluative approach that inadequately supports the ongoing professional development of teachers. This study aims to explore the perceptions of teachers and school principals regarding academic supervision and to describe the practices and challenges of its implementation in the context of rural elementary schools. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing semi-structured interviews and document analysis for data collection. The informants include one principal and five teachers from SD Negeri 2 Jurug, Boyolali, Central Java. Data were analyzed using an interactive thematic approach, involving data reduction, presentation in matrices, and conclusion drawing, with triangulation to ensure validity. The findings indicate that perceptions of supervision are divided between administrative control functions and professional development, with implementation remaining procedural and lacking follow-up actions. The main challenges include time constraints, the dual role of the principal, and poor communication quality. The implications of this research underscore the necessity for a transformation in supervision towards a more reflective, contextual, and coaching-based approach.

Abstract

Pelajaran bahasa Indonesia memerlukan model pembelajaran yang mudah dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis multimodal terhadap literasi membaca pemahaman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah 73 peserta didik kelas IV di SD Negeri kecamatan Manyaran. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai korelasi (R) = 0.416 artinya ada hubungan linear positif antar variabel; koefisien determinasi R Square = 0,871, artinya pembelajaran berbasis multimodal memberikan pengaruh 87,1% terhadap literasi membaca pemahaman. Nilai signifikan sebesar 0.000 < 0,05 dan nilai t hitung 2,318 > t tabel 1.667, artinya menerima hipotesis alternatif. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis multimodal efektif terhadap literasi membaca pemahaman kelas IV di SD Negeri kecamatan Manyaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya strategi promosi dalam pengembangan destinasi wisata daerah, khusunya melalui media tradisional seperti radio. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dampak promosi destinasi wisata melalui Program Potret Radio Giri Swara Diskominfo Wonogiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi siaran, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program Potret berperan penting dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, minat, dan ketertarikan pendengar terhadap destinasi wisata Wonogiri. Promosi melalui radio dinilai efektif menjangkau masyarakat, terutama di wilayah dengan keterbatasan akses internet, serta memberikan dampak positif terhadap sektor ekonomi lokal. Simpulan penelitian ini menegakan bahwa radio publik lokal masih relevan sebagai media promosi pariwisata dan berpotensi menjadi bagian dari ekosistem komunikasi pembangunan daerah apabila dikelola secara konsisten dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kendala yang dihadapi dalam menilai keterampilan menyimak bahasa Inggris siswa di SMPIT Al-Fityan Boarding School Bogor menyoroti perlunya pengembangan instrumen penilaian yang lebih efektif sesuai dengan kurikulum terbaru. Oleh karena itu, tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menciptakan sebuah instrumen berupa rubrik yang dapat digunakan untuk menilai keterampilan menyimak bahasa Inggris siswa SMP. Dalam penelitian ini, metode pengembangan dan validasi instrumen dipilih, yang merupakan pendekatan yang umum digunakan dalam penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Rubrik penilaian menyimak ini kemudian divalidasi oleh seorang ahli dalam bidang menyimak serta seorang ahli dalam bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tersebut memenuhi syarat untuk digunakan dalam menilai keterampilan menyimak bahasa Inggris siswa di kelas VIII SMPIT Al-Fityan Boarding School Bogor. Selain itu, hasil pengembangan rubrik penilaian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tersebut dapat berfungsi sebagai panduan bagi para guru dalam menilai kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi menyimak dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan jumlah total rata-rata dari tim validator, instrumen ini mendapatkan nilai sebesar 4,4, menunjukkan tingkat validitas yang memadai.

Abstract

This research discusses the use of the digital media Flipgrid in improving students' speaking skills in Indonesian language learning, specifically for 11th-grade students at SMA Mambaul Ulum. Flipgrid is a video-based learning media that allows students to record and upload their own videos, as well as interactively respond to each other. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach. The research results show that the use of Flipgrid not only enhances fluency and clarity in speaking but also encourages students' confidence, motivation, and active participation. In addition, interaction between teachers and students, as well as among students, increased thanks to the comment and discussion features in the application. Flipgrid also encourages students' creativity in creating video content. Thus, this media has proven to be effective and relevant for application in 21st-century learning to develop speaking skills in a more engaging, flexible, and meaningful way.Pembelajaran berbicara seringkali mengalami kendala dalam hal partisipasi aktif dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan media Flipgrid dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas XI SMA Mambaul Ulum. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur terhadap berbagai penelitian sebelumnya. Data dianalisis dari temuan empiris yang telah dipublikasikan terkait implementasi Flipgrid dalam pembelajaran berbasis video. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Flipgrid meningkatkan kefasihan, kejelasan berbicara, serta rasa percaya diri dan motivasi siswa. Interaksi antara guru dan siswa juga meningkat melalui fitur komentar dan umpan balik yang disediakan platform ini. Selain itu, siswa menjadi lebih kreatif dan aktif dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, Flipgrid terbukti efektif sebagai media pembelajaran abad ke-21 dalam pengembangan keterampilan berbicara.

Abstract

Contemporary educational frameworks evolve to prepare learners for real-world challenges, so learners are required to have skills and be able to compete in the 21st century era. Critical thinking skills are high-level thinking skills that are very important for learners to have starting from elementary school, but in fact, critical thinking skills in elementary schools are low. The focus of this research is to describe critical thinking skills through innovation in elementary school science learning. This research uses a literature study research method. Data collection is sourced from relevant articles, journals, and books. Research data analysis through four stages 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, and 4) conclusion drawing. The results of this study reveal that learning innovation has an important role because it is able to foster critical thinking skills through HOTS questions, appropriate learning models, and media that can foster critical thinking in students. Some things that need to be considered are the utilization of technology that is developing using technology-based media and the use of HOTS questions and learning models is also considered. So it can be concluded that fostering critical thinking skills through learning innovation can be done through HOTS questions, appropriate learning models, and learning media in elementary school science learning.

Abstract

UMKM di Kota Balikpapan memegang peran penting dalam perekonomian lokal, namun menghadapi tantangan berupa persaingan produk luar, fluktuasi jumlah usaha, dan adaptasi teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan kewirausahaan dan inklusi keuangan terhadap kinerja UMKM. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan probabilitas sampling pada 133 pelaku UMKM ritel tradisional. Data primer dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 pelaku UMKM ritel tradisional sebagai responden dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil menunjukkan pelatihan kewirausahaan dan inklusi keuangan terbukti berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM (t hitung 5,345 dan 23,460; F hitung 154,4; p < 0,05). Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan pelatihan dan akses keuangan guna memperkuat daya saing UMKM ritel tradisional. Rekomendasi penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar kebijakan penguatan UMKM di Balikpapan.

Abstract

Teacher job satisfaction is one indicator of the success of implementing school programs. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the principal's transformational leadership and achievement motivation with teacher job satisfaction. This correlational study consisted of two independent variables, namely the principal's transformational leadership and achievement motivation, and the dependent variable, namely teacher job satisfaction. This study was conducted in the SMP Negeri Kec, West Karawang, Karawang Regency, which consists of 4 schools using a survey method. The total sample was 179 respondents with a sampling technique using proportional random sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire instrument. While the data analysis technique used statistical techniques of correlation and simple linear regression as well as correlation and multiple regression. The results of the study show that: 1) There is a very significant positive relationship between the principal's transformational leadership (X1) and teacher job satisfaction (Y) with rx1y = 0.397 with the regression equation Ŷ = 104.800 + 0.226X1, 2) There is a significant positive relationship between achievement motivation (X2) and teacher job satisfaction (Y) with rx2y = 0.443 with the regression equation Ŷ = 80.060 + 0.414X2 and 3) there is a significant positive relationship between the principal's transformational leadership and achievement motivation with teacher job satisfaction with rx1x2y = 0.541 with the regression equation Ŷ = 63.51 + 0.181X1 + 0.352X2. The implication of the results of this study is that increasing teacher job satisfaction can be done by increasing the empowerment of the indicators of the principal's transformational leadership and achievement motivation variables both individually and together.Ketercapaian kepuasan kerja guru merupakan salah satu indikator keberhasilan penerapan program-program sekolah.  Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi  dengan kepuasan kerja guru. Penelitian korelasional  yang terdiri atas dua variabel bebas yaitu kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi  dan variabel terikat yaitu kepuasan kerja guru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lingkungan SMP Negeri Kec, Karawang Barat, Kabupaten Karawang, yang terdiri dari 4 sekolah dengan menggunakan metode survei. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 179 responden dengan teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling.  Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen angket. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik korelasi dan regresi linier sederhana serta korelasi dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah (X1) dengan kepuasan kerja guru (Y) dengan rx1y = 0,397 dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ = 104,800 + 0,226X1, 2) Terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi (X2) dengan kepuasan kerja guru (Y) dengan rx2y = 0,443    dengan persamaan regresi  Ŷ = 80,060 + 0,414X2 dan 3) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi dengan kepuasan kerja guru dengan rx1x2y = 0,541 dengan persamaan regresi  Ŷ = 63,51 + 0,181X1 + 0,352X2. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah peningkatan kepuasan kerja guru dapat dilakukan dengan cara meningkatkan pemberdayaan indikator-indikator variabel kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi  baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama.
