Abstract

This study aims to analyze the environmental factors of coffee shops that contribute to enhancing students’ learning creativity in Madiun City, particularly at the Kopi Dari Hati coffee shop. In the modern era, coffee shops are not only places for leisure but have evolved into alternative spaces for students to study and express creativity. A comfortable, aesthetic, and flexible environment is believed to influence mood, motivation, and creative thinking during learning activities. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through field observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants consist of the owner, employees, and student visitors of the coffee shop. The findings reveal that physical factors such as spatial layout, interior design, and lighting have significant effects on comfort and concentration during study activities. Meanwhile, social factors such as visitor interactions and the level of social comfort also contribute to creating an inspiring and stress-free learning atmosphere. Flexible room arrangements, aesthetic interiors, warm lighting, and the presence of both quiet and lively zones are identified as dominant elements that support the emergence of creative ideas. However, minor obstacles such as limited power outlets, noise, and small table sizes remain challenges for some visitors. Overall, the study concludes that coffee shops can serve as effective alternative learning spaces when they successfully balance functional, aesthetic, and social aspects to facilitate students’ creative learning processes.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the governance of the website pariwisata.padang.go.id as a medium for tourism promotion by the Padang City Tourism Office. The background of this study stems from the phenomenon of low utilization of the website by the community and tourists, even though it has been developed as part of the implementation of e-government policies. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, as well as the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation theory proposed by Daniel L. Stufflebeam (1966) as the analytical framework. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews with the Tourism Office, marketing staff, and the public or tourist visitors. The results of the study show that the website was created as a digital promotional tool, but its management is not yet optimal. The main factors that hinder this are the limited number of human resources competent in the field of information technology, the absence of a special team and training, a lack of budget, and a lack of updates and socialization to the public. Therefore, it can be concluded that the website pariwisata.padang.go.id has not functioned optimally as a tourism promotion medium and requires comprehensive improvements in terms of management, content, and publication strategy.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss Lubuklinggau during the governance of the Sindang Kelingi Ilir Marga (clan) from 1855 to 1942. The background of this research focuses on the history of the formation of the Sindang Kelingi Ilir Marga and the political conditions in Lubuklinggau during its administration. The method used in this research is the historical method, which includes the stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography.Based on the findings and discussion, it can be concluded that the formation of the Sindang Kelingi Ilir Marga was driven by the implementation of the Simbur Cahaya Law in 1854. According to this law, the Dutch colonial administration required indigenous community units or hamlets under the Palembang Residency that had not yet formed a marga to immediately establish one. Therefore, starting in 1855, many new marga were established, including the Sindang Kelingi Ilir Marga, which was centered in the village of Lubuklinggau. As for the political situation in Lubuklinggau during the administration of the Sindang Kelingi Ilir Marga from 1855 to 1942, it was led by seven depati (traditional leaders) and one pesirah (head of the marga). Significant political development occurred during the leadership of Depati Ramitan (1916–1936). During his leadership, Lubuklinggau, as the center of the Sindang Kelingi Ilir Marga, was designated as the capital of the Onder Afdeeling Moese Oeloe (a Dutch colonial administrative division), replacing Muara Beliti in 1934. This change was supported by the development of various infrastructure projects in Lubuklinggau, such as highways and a railway line, which were inaugurated during Depati Ramitan’s administration.

Abstract

The relationship between the government and citizens within the realm of administrative law often encounters tensions, particularly when State Administrative Decisions (Keputusan Tata Usaha Negara/KTUN) fail to embody principles of justice and the protection of rights. This study aims to explore the dynamics of this relationship by analyzing academic literature related to KTUN. The research employs a systematic literature review combined with a bibliometric approach using 176 journal articles sourced from Google Scholar. Overlay visualization analysis was conducted through VOSviewer software to identify thematic trends and keyword co-occurrence. The results reveal that terms such as e-government, authority, and state administrative decision dominate recent academic discourse, indicating the growing relevance of digital governance and administrative accountability. The study finds that the effectiveness of KTUN is closely linked to its legal validity, institutional accountability, and the extent of public participation in administrative processes. This research highlights a critical gap in how KTUN is formulated and implemented in practice, suggesting that existing administrative legal frameworks may lack responsiveness to evolving societal needs. The novelty of this study lies in its bibliometric-based mapping of current academic perspectives on KTUN, which provides a clearer understanding of emerging patterns and theoretical directions in the field. The study recommends strengthening adaptive legal frameworks in state administration that are more participatory and responsive to societal transformations, thereby improving the quality of public decisions and governance outcomes in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores the Badewa traditional ceremony as an alternative healing practice among the Dayak Bakumpai community in Berangas Timur Village, Alalak Subdistrict, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan. Thebadewa ritual represents a cultural tradition rooted in spiritual and social values that has long served as a community-based healing method. The research aims to examine the background, existence, and cultural values of the badewa ceremony during the period 1998–2010. A historical method was employed, involving four key stages: heuristics (data collection through interviews, literature studies, and field observations), source criticism (both internal and external), interpretation, and historiography (historical writing). Findings indicate that badewa has existed since before the arrival of Islam in South Kalimantan. In 1998, the practice was reintroduced to Berangas Timur by the family of H. Idrus from Marabahan and began to gain recognition as an alternative healing option. Despite a decline in public interest after 2010, the ritual continues to be preserved through intergenerational transmission and annual large-scale performances. The novelty of this research lies in documenting and analyzing a local healing tradition that integrates spiritual beliefs with community solidarity. The badewa ceremony not only offers alternative medical treatment but also functions as a medium for cultural preservation and identity reinforcement within the Bakumpai community.

Abstract

This study aims to implement the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in grade V of Lempuyangwangi State Elementary School, Yogyakarta. The Merdeka Belajar Curriculum is implemented as a solution to the learning crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to answer the needs of education in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview and observation methods, involving PAI teachers as the main subjects of the study. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in Lempuyangwangi State Elementary School has been carried out in stages, starting from grades I and IV, with intensive training for teachers to understand curriculum concepts, prepare learning tools, and implement the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). This curriculum has a positive impact, such as increasing student involvement in more relevant, interactive, and project-based learning, as well as facilitating the exploration of student interests and talents. However, there are significant challenges in its implementation, such as limited facilities, time preparation, and a learning paradigm that must shift from being teacher-focused to student-focused. To overcome these challenges, the school provides ongoing training, additional learning resources, and collaboration between teachers. This study confirms that the Independent Learning Curriculum has great potential in creating a learning atmosphere that is more independent, innovative, and in accordance with today's educational needs.
