Abstract

Common problems include teachers having difficulty carrying out classroom action research activities and also having difficulty writing scientific articles. This problem has an impact on other problems, namely efforts to continue seeking promotion with work that is not original. Based on the problems that occur in partner schools, an alternative solution is offered, namely providing assistance in writing scientific papers for elementary school teachers in Malang City. In this activity, almost all participants fully participated in the activities that had been carried out and were also involved in submitting the final assignment. In the majority, the final assignments submitted are draft articles based on IMRAD style journals. Based on the results of the review of assignments that have been developed, as many as 15 work titles are in the journal review stage to be ready for publication. This shows the success of the activities carried out.

Abstract

The Ngebel area in Ponorogo Regency, East Java, is one of the hidden tourist destinations that has yet to be fully exposed but is becoming a favorite tourist destination in Indonesia. The natural beauty of Lake Ngebel, in the form of a natural lake, is an attraction in itself that can be explored and developed as a natural tourist area in Indonesia. Apart from the natural lake, which holds potential, the Ngebel area is also known for its potential as a robusta coffee center, famously known as Wilis coffee. This initiative aims to provide mentoring and technology application to the youth in Ngebel village and its surrounding areas to become a driving force for the emergence of young entrepreneurs in building businesses based on local commodities, especially Wilis coffee products, thus making it a flagship product and supporting the development of Lake Ngebel tourism. The community service activities consist of entrepreneurial training, the application of appropriate technology such as coffee roasting machine production, and mentoring millennial café entrepreneurs in the Lake Ngebel area as a tourist destination. The results of these activities show that the application of appropriate technology in roasting coffee with various flavors increases the entrepreneurial spirit of the youth in the Lake Ngebel area and can be utilized to better market Wilis coffee products, thereby supporting tourism activities in the Lake Ngebel area.

Abstract

In the current digital era, financial literacy is crucial to support wise financial management and prevent the risk of fraud, especially among the younger generation. This article discusses the need for financial literacy, especially among high school students, to help them manage personal finances, understand investments, and become familiar with financial technology (fintech). Cases of fraud, such as several students caught in online loans, emphasize the importance of understanding financial literacy in financial decisions. From the evaluation results of the financial literacy workshop conducted at SoliDEO Christian High School, this activity positively impacted students' understanding of investment, financial literacy, and financial technology. A significant increase in students' interest scores regarding these various aspects was seen through surveys before and after the workshop. The highest increase occurred in understanding investment instruments, followed by the urgency of recognizing red flags when investing, financial literacy, use of financial technology, and investing in general. Even though there has been an increase, the importance scores for understanding and measuring investment profits and risks, managing personal finances, and making a priority scale for spending funds tend to be stable.

Abstract

Currently, computer literacy is very necessary to be studied by various parties, including high school students. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subject matter at high school level has been studied, but usually only basic programming. Currently, lessons about databases using SQL are also required to be studied at the high school level, but due to limited curriculum, resources and time, this material is usually not studied. Therefore, the solution is to provide training outside of school hours. SMA Harapan Kasih Bandung, collaborates with Maranatha Christian University to provide computer training with material about databases. The training method used is face-to-face in a computer laboratory. The face-to-face procedure is by giving an initial test, theoretical explanation, practical explanation, student practice and final test. Face to face is given for two hours for each class. Abstract

Nowadays, school development is very important to maintain the quality of the learning process. After developing a program or activity, an evaluation is usually carried out to evaluate its effectiveness and achievements. Assessment is an activity to find valid information. This search also includes searching for information that is useful for assessing the existence of a program and alternative strategies offered to achieve predetermined goals. The assessment of these schools can be called Community Service (PkM) activities. This PkM aims to evaluate the performance of schools supported by the Astra Education Foundation - Michael D'Ruslim (YPA-MDR) to maintain the quality of education. This activity is carried out by visiting schools. The target of this activity is all schools supported by YPA-MDR in the Kapuas and Barito areas of Central Kalimantan. The results of this activity provide benefits to all schools to find out the level of education quality of each school. The results can be concluded that academic and character criteria still dominate at the top, followed by non-academic criteria (arts and culture) and other supporting programs (facilities - infrastructure). The academic pillar is the main point considering that the assessment is an educational institution, where learning criteria are very important to review.
