Abstract

Tourism villages are a form of implementation of community-based and sustainable tourism development. Grojogan Londo Tourism has its signature song entitled "Grojogan Londo" by Sodiq New Monata and has been watched 6,230 times on YouTube. In addition, there is a song composed by the Statistics Assisted Village Program Team at the University of Airlangga entitled “Ayang Londo”. Therefore, this study aims to measure respondents' assessment of the two Grojogan Londo Tourism promotional songs. Data was obtained through an online survey using Google Forms with 117 respondents and then analyzed descriptively, correlationally and comparatively. The method used is descriptive statistics, Rank Spearman correlation test, and Mann-Whitney test. The data support the hypothesis that the respondents' interest in the songs "Grojogan Londo" and "Ayang Londo" is different. In addition, 41.9% of respondents believe that music-based promotional media can influence tourists' interest in traveling to certain areas. Therefore, Grojogan Londo tourism promotion songs must be promoted more aggressively through various social media channels which are currently popular among the public, especially the millennial generation. This research contributes to expanding the literature and increasing knowledge about marketing media through songs and their influence on tourist interest which needs to be done as an effort to evaluate tourism development.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide education and understanding of the phenomenon of phubbing, its impact on the family, and strategies to overcome it. The methods and stages in this program include: 1) the preparation stage, 2) organizing seminars and parenting about phubbing and its impact on the family, and 3) activity reporting. The results of this activity showed an increase in: partners' understanding of the importance of family resilience in maintaining family harmony, understanding of strategies in controlling the use of information media and gadgets in the family, partners' understanding of the phubbing phenomenon, its impact and dangers for family relationships, partners' understanding in maintaining communication in the family and overcoming phubbing.

Abstract

The women farming group/ Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) of Manggihan Village, Getasan District, Semarang Regency has carried out organic vegetable cultivation. However, the children of the farmer women's group are not familiar with organic vegetables. In this group there are 22 members and 10 children in grades 1-3 of Elementary School (SD). It was also found that the children's motivation to learn mathematics was low. In addition, KWT's knowledge about the importance of accompanying children while studying is still lacking. From these problems, community service activities focused on workshops 'accompanying children in learning to use the book 'knowing vegetables and counting'. As well as the implementation of child learning assistance by KWT. This activity will be carried out using the offline training method and online implementation. The result of this activity is that children's learning motivation in math lessons increases and the duration of learning assistance by parents (KWT) also increases.

Abstract

The batik-making skills training program using natural dyes from waste materials for marginalized youth in Wijirejo Village, Bantul, aims to enhance participants' skills, economic independence, and business sustainability. This program is supported by Nonalia Batik SMEs and the community service team from Yogyakarta State University. The training methods include entrepreneurship theory, batik-making practice, and small business management assistance, including digital marketing. Evaluation results show significant improvements in participants' skills, with some successfully starting their own batik businesses and increasing their income. This program has had a positive impact on the local economy and empowered marginalized youth within their communities.

Abstract

The existence of social media has become embedded in people's lives in the digital era. Not only for communicating, currently many business people use social media Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter and Facebook to promote their businesses. Koremin MSMEs, in running their business, also have social media accounts which are used as marketing media. However, the use of social media needs to be accompanied by creativity and the creation of promotional content that is in line with existing trends so that it can reach a wider range of consumers. The service is carried out in order to help MSMEs be able to use their social media optimally to achieve sales targets. The implementation method is observation, interviews and mentoring for three months. The research results show that Koremin MSMEs are able to use their social media optimally and achieve the expected targets.

Abstract

The amount of plastic waste is increasing along with its increasing use. Plastic like waste that is not easily decomposed causes problems if it is not handled properly. The school environment is one of the producers of plastic snack packaging waste, including here Pandean Elementary School in Magelang district. One method of recycling plastic waste is to turn it into ecobricks. This method is still not widely applied as a plastic waste recycling method because there is still little information about this method. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct socialization and direct practical examples of making ecobricks that can be formed into other objects that have beneficial values. From the training activities, it can be seen that the Pandean Elementary School students were very enthusiastic because they could practice directly making ecobics and wanted to spread them to the surrounding community.

Abstract

Tinalah Tourism Village is a natural tourism destination located in Purwoharjo Village, Samigaluh District, Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta. Tinalah Tourism Village is growing with increasing tourist visits, camping activities. The increase in tourists has caused an increase in waste generation. Based on observations that waste in the Camping Ground environment has so far been carried out by piling up and burning, not implementing a recycling and reuse system. This Community Service Activity aims to raise awareness among camp participants in the importance of waste management by implementing the principle of a circular economy. The Community Service Activity for waste measurement education was enthusiastically welcomed by the managers of the Tinalah Tourism Village Camping Ground, scout leaders and camp participants. The waste produced is inorganic waste (paper, plastic), and organic waste (food scraps).

Abstract

This community service aims to improve the quality of the implementation of the Adiwiyata School at SDN Gelangan 3, Magelang City, especially in terms of the integration of environmental culture and local genius, so that the school can participate better in provincial level competitions. Community Service Method: The community service method used includes socialization, training, and STEAM practices integrated with Magelang's local genius. This approach aims to improve teachers' abilities in implementing an environmental-based curriculum and developing environmentally friendly facilities and infrastructure in schools. The results of this community service indicate that 70% of teacher participants are able to implement strategies, models, and learning techniques that actively involve students, 70% of teacher participants are able to develop local issues in the context of environmental education, and 70% of teacher participants have succeeded in compiling teaching modules containing environmental education. The conclusion of this community service has succeeded in increasing the capacity of teachers at SDN Gelangan 3 in implementing the Adiwiyata School, with better integration of environmental culture and local genius, although further efforts are still needed to achieve more optimal results at the provincial level.

Abstract

Transformasi teknologi yang terus berkembang dapat menghasilkan inovasi yang menarik perhatian masyarakat seiring berjalannya waktu. Pemasaran digital adalah suatu bentuk upaya yang menggunakan media digital, seperti internet, digunakan untuk mempromosikan dan memasarkan suatu brand. Namun pemahaman masyarakat desa yang kurang mengenai penjualan di pasar menjadi permasalahan yang perlu dipahami. Desa Lubuk Enau menjadi tempat kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Kegiatan bakti sosial ini dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa KKN-Tematik Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Indo Global Mandiri, dalam rangka Upaya Pengembangan Kewirausahaan Berkelanjutan di Desa Lubuk Enau. Pembinaan tersebut diharapkan dapat memudahkan para pelaku ekonomi UMKM untuk membuat marketplace yang bertujuan untuk penjualan produk olahan kuliner seperti instagram facebook, whatsapp, dan juga e-commerce lainnya. Peningkatan promosi penjualan online bertujuan untuk memperluas pemasaran keripik pepaya sehingga dapat menambah perekonomian para pelaku usaha.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase knowledge about school age development and provide development stimulation to optimize the development of school-age children's industry/work. Solutions that can be provided to partners are 1) conducting an initial assessment as basic data to determine the achievement of school-age children's industry development tasks, 2) increasing children's knowledge about school-age development, and 3) conducting therapeutic group therapy by providing stimulation for school-age children's development (motor, cognitive, language, emotions and personality, moral and spiritual, and psychosocial development). The implementation of activities consists of three stages, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The achievement of the objectives of this community service is seen from the results of the evaluation of school-age children's development. The results of this activity show that after participating in Therapeutic Group Therapy (TKT), most students experienced an optimal and positive increase in their abilities in their development levels. Therefore, we recommend the use of therapeutic group therapy as an effort to stimulate children's development to the maximum, which will ultimately have a positive impact on the development of school-age children's industry or work.
