Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering ditemui pada anak usia dini diantaranya anak tidak dapat memusatkan perhatian, tidak mampu menuntaskan permainan atau tugas, terdistraksi dan tidak sabar dalam menunggu antrian. Perilaku tersebut mengarah pada karakteristik anak dengan Attention Deficit Disorder, namun guru-guru umumnya tidak mengenalinya. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam memberikan intervensi pada anak ADD dengan memanfaatkan sensomotorik. Latihan koordinasi sensomotorik efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan konsentrasi. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengembangkan program latihan koordinasi sensomotorik, Pada Anak Attention Defisit Disorder (ADD). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, demontrasi. Sosialisasi PKM dikuti oleh dua puluh guru PAUD Inklusif di Kecamatan Mataraman, Kabupaten Banjar. Hasil evaluasi dari kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pengembangan program sensomotorik mampu meningkatkan kemampuan memusatkan perhatian pada anak usia dini dengan ADD terbukti pada nilai sebelum pelatihan guru sebesar 19 menjadi nilai sesudah pelatihan guru sebesar 89,5. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan keterampilan guru meningkat dalam memahami anak ADD dan memanfaatkan latihan sensomotorik dalam proses penanganan pembelajaran di kelas.Problems often encountered in early childhood include children being unable to focus, unable to complete games, easily distracted, and impatient waiting in line. Such behavior leads to the characteristics of a child with Attention Deficit Disorder, but teachers generally do not recognize it. Efforts can be made in providing intervention to ADD children by utilizing sensorimotor. Sensomotor coordination exercises are effective in improving concentration skills. Therefore, Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) aims to provide knowledge and skills in developing sensomotor coordination training programs for children with attention deficit disorder (ADD). The methods used are lectures and demonstration methods. PKM socialization was attended by twenty Inclusive PAUD teachers in Mataraman District, Banjar Regency. The evaluation results of PKM activities show that sensorimotor program development training in improving the ability to focus attention on early childhood with Attention Deficit Disorder is proven to increase teachers' understanding and skills in understanding ADD children and utilize sensorimotor exercises in the process of handling learning in the classroom.

Abstract

Handling the problem of household waste is getting more complicated by the day. Some people do not have a new perspective on dealing with waste. For this reason, serious handling is needed when utilizing household waste as a resource. Household waste is the largest contributor to creating organic waste, so to turn organic waste into resources, it is necessary to work on piles of organic waste from household waste by utilizing waste in compost. The benefits of compost are many in terms of fertilizing plants, so through community service, training activities for making compost with EM 4 were carried out for Baturetno PKK members, where 35 participants attended the training. The aim is to train PKK members skills in handling household organic waste by giving them EM4. In this activity, the methods used were socialization, training, and monitoring. In the training, a questionnaire was distributed to determine the participants' insight and response to the activity. The results of the questionnaire show that there is an increase in understanding and skills as seen from the average answer "YES" before the training of 58.53% with a sufficient category, and after the training to 93% with a very good category, thus indicating that the knowledge and skills of PKK members in Baturetno, Tuban district after training in processing waste from household organic waste into compost with EM 4, has increased.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara hukum, hal ini akhirnya berkonsekuensi pada suatu paham yang umumnya disebut sebagai positivisme. Berdasarkan paham positivisme hukum tersebut, maka diperlukan adanya peraturan tertulis sebagai landasan masyarakat dalam menjalani kehidupannya sehari-hari,  selaras dengan hal tersebut pada ketentuan UU No. 15 tahun 2019 memberikan tanggung jawab akademisi untuk berpartisipasi dalam peningkatan sumber daya manusia secara aktif, termasuk pada aparatur desa. Penyuluhan ini berfokus pada aparatur desa sebagai garda terdepan pelaksana pelayanan masyarakat, hal ini bertujuan agar pemerintah desa/aparatur desa memiliki pemahaman terkait pemuatan peraturan desa melalui aspek filosofis-historis, yuridis-normatif, maupun sosiologis-empiris. Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode “sharing discussion”. Pelaksanaan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan di Kantor Desa Kalimas, pada pukul 13.00 – 16.00 WIB dan diikuti sebanyak 16 orang peserta. Pelaksanaan  sosialisasi ini  mendapat respon positif dari aparatur desa, maupun warga desa sehingga di masa mendatang dapat dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan Peraturan Desa, Peraturan Kepala Desa, dan sebagainya.Trust Law No. 15 of 2019 bestows upon academics the responsibility to actively participate in enhancing human resources, including those in village apparatus. This counseling focuses on the village apparatus, which serves as the vanguard of community service implementation. This counseling aims to impart an understanding of village regulations through philosophical-historical, juridical-normative, and sociological-empirical aspects to the village government and village apparatus. This community service utilized the "sharing discussion" method and was conducted at the Kalimas Village Office, with 16 participants in attendance. The positive response from the village apparatus and residents following the implementation of this socialization indicates the possibility of continuing training activities aimed at developing Village Regulations, Village Head Regulations, and other related aspects in the future.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah melakukan pelatihan pengintegrasian GSE-LMS bagi guru SMP Kabupaten Banjar. Metode pelaksanaan PkM ini terdiri dari persiapan, pelaksanaan kegiatan dan pendampingan, serta evaluasi kegiatan. tim PkM mempersiapkan modul praktikum GSE-LMS untuk dibagikan kepada peserta saat kegiatan Pelatihan. Kegiatan PkM ini dilaksanakan selama 2 kali pertemuan secara tatap muka pada bulan Juni 2023. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM ini di laboratorium komputer SMPN 2 Kertak Hanyar, Kabupaten Banjar. Peserta yang hadir sebanyak 20 guru SMPN 2 Kertak Hanyar. Instrumen evaluasi kegiatan yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data berupa angket yang diisi oleh peserta melalui Google Form. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta sangat setuju bahwa kegiatan PkM sangat bermanfaat dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan mitra di lapangan untuk mendukung inovasi pembelajaran berbantuan teknologi. Selain itu, peserta begitu bersemangat mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan dan meminta kegiatan pelatihan TIK dilakukan secara kontinu ke depan untuk peningkatan kompetensi guru mengimplementasikan TIK dalam pembelajaran. Temuan yang menarik bahwa sebanyak 56,5% peserta menganggap penggunaan fitur-fitur pada Google Classroom sebagai LMS mudah dipahami dan mudah digunakan dibandingkan dengan aplikasi Google lainnya yang telah diberikan saat pelatihan. Selanjutnya, sebagai bahan masukan bagi tim PkM bahwa perlu ada pelatihan lanjutan terkait aplikasi Google lainnya yang dianggap sulit bagi guru-guru sebagai peserta. This Community Service (CS) activity aimed to conduct GSE-LMS integration training for Banjar Regency Middle School teachers. The CS implementation method consists of preparation, implementation of activities, mentoring, and evaluation of activities. The CS team prepared the GSE-LMS practicum module to be distributed to participants during training activities. This CS activity was carried out during two face-to-face meetings in June 2023. This CS activity was carried out in the computer laboratory of SMPN 2 Kertak Hanyar, Banjar Regency. Participants who attended were 20 teachers at SMPN 2 Kertak Hanyar. The activity evaluation instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire filled out by participants via Google Forms. The evaluation results showed that participants strongly agree that CS activities were very useful and by the needs of partners in the field to support technology-assisted learning innovation. Apart from that, participants were very enthusiastic about participating in training activities and asked that ICT training activities be carried out continuously to increase teacher competence in implementing ICT in learning. An interesting finding was that 56.5% of participants considered using the features in Google Classroom as an LMS easy to understand and use compared to other Google applications provided during training. Furthermore, as input for the CS team, there needs to be further training regarding other Google applications, which are considered difficult for the teachers as participants.

Abstract

The prevalence of dental caries in children is still relatively high in Indonesia. One of the causes is neglect of oral and dental health maintenance. The school dental health business Program carried out to overcome this has not covered all elementary schools in Indonesia. Given the importance of maintaining children's dental and oral health, improving children's dental health promotion programs at school is necessary. Community service has been carried out at MI Al Khaeriyah, Jabungan Semarang city is a promotive program that aims to improve oral hygiene and children's knowledge in maintaining their dental health. Promotional efforts were carried out in packages consisting of fairy tales, interactive questions and answers, demonstrations, and mass brushing of teeth for 42 students in grades 1-6 elementary school. The results showed an increase in knowledge, both to 93% and followed by an increase in dental and oral hygiene criteria by 81%. Counseling in the form of fairy tales, interactive questions and answers, demonstrations, and mass tooth-brushes can motivate students to behave positively in maintaining healthy teeth every day. Promotive actions in children need to be increased and implemented on an ongoing basis to maintain positive behavior, reduce the prevalence rate of caries in the future, and support existing school dental health business programs.

Abstract

Kampung Hijau berada di Kelurahan Sungai Bilu Kecamatan Banjarmasin Timur. Kampung Hijau meliputi 5 RT dengan jumlah sekitar 149 Kepala Keluarga yang menetap di wilayah ini. Awalnya kawasan ini merupakan pemukiman yang padat dan kurang tertata apik, namun berkat gagasan Pemerintah Kota Banjarmasin dan keterlibatan warga, kini Kampung Hijau menjadi salah satu destinasi wisata di Banjarmasin yang menarik untuk dikunjungi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi Kampung Hijau yakni kelotok wisata yang tidak mampir ke dermaga, sehingga wisatawan hanya menikmati wisata Kampung Hijau hanya dari sungai. Selain itu, pokdarwis Kampung Hijau juga mengalami kendala dalam promosi wisata melalui media sosial Instagram. Tujuan pelatihan ini untuk meningkatkan kognitif anggota pokdarwis Kampung Hijau mengenai Komunikasi pemasaran pariwisata berbasis susur sungai. Metode kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini menggunakan komunikasi lisan untuk menyampaikan materi seputar komponen komunikasi pariwisata, komunikasi pemasaran pariwisata yang meliputi konsep 4P (Product, Place, Promotion dan Price). Media promosi pariwisata melalui word of mouth marketing dan media sosial dengan strategi storytelling dan positioning. Selain itu juga disampaikan materi Integrated Marketing Communication yang terdiri dari Public Relations, Periklanan, Personal Selling, Sales Promotion, Direct Marketing dan Internet Marketing. Kampung Hijau mempunyai potensi wisata yang dapat dioptimalkan dengan strategi word of mouth marketing dan melalui media sosial. Pokdarwis dan masyarakat dapat bersinergi dengan pemerintah untuk membuat konsep storytelling wisata Kampung Hijau.Kampung Hijau is in Sungai Bilu Village, East Banjarmasin District. Kampung Hijau includes 5 RTs with around 149 heads of families living in this area. Initially, this area was a dense and poorly organized settlement. However, with the ideas of the Banjarmasin City Government and the involvement of the residents, Kampung Hijau is now an interesting tourist destination in Banjarmasin to visit. The problem faced by Kampung Hijau is that “kelotok” that brought tourism down the river, don't stop by the pier, so tourists only enjoy Kampung Hijau tourism from the river. In addition, Pokdarwis at Kampung Hijau also experienced problems in promoting tourism through Instagram social media. This training aims to improve the cognitive abilities of Kampung Hijau’s Pokdarwis members regarding river-based tourism marketing communications. This Community Service activity method uses oral communication to convey material about the components of tourism marketing communication, including the 4P concept (Product, Place, Promotion, and Price). Tourism promotion media through word-of-mouth marketing and social media with storytelling and positioning strategies. In addition, Integrated Marketing Communication material was also presented, which consisted of Public Relations, Advertising, Personal Selling, Sales Promotion, Direct Marketing, and Internet Marketing. Kampung Hijau has tourism potential, which can be optimized with word-of-mouth marketing strategies and through social media. Pokdarwis and the community can work with the government to create a storytelling concept for Kampung Hijau tourism.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran menuntut siswa untuk mengembangkan pemikiran kreatif dan memperluas pengetahuan mereka. Tuntutan dan ruang lingkup kegiatan siswa seringkali menimbulkan stress. Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi guru BK di sekolah mitra diantaranya adalah siswa yang menunjukkan perilaku agresi, menunjukkan kebosanan dalam belajar dan kebiasaan menunda-nunda mengerjakan tugas. Salah satu strategi pendekatan yang dapat digunakan pada layanan bimbingan dan konseling untuk membantu mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah teknik relaksasi. Relaksasi adalah strategi perilaku yang dapat digunakan individu untuk mengembangkan proses internal yang positif dalam kepribadian individu tersebut. Tujuan dari pelatihan dan pendampingan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman akan pengetahuan dan keterampilan seluruh guru BK di SMP Kota Prabumulih dalam menggunakan teknik relaksasi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk guru BK SMP di Kota Prabumulih dan dilaksanakan selama bulan September 2022 secara blended learning dengan menggunakan beberapa metode pelatihan yaitu: 1) penyampaian materi tentang teknik relaksasi, 2) Pelatihan dan Pendampingan teknik relaksasi, 3) Praktik mandiri teknik relaksasi, dan 4) Penilaian dan evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan teknik relaksasi. Meskipun terdapat beberapa tantangan dan kendala dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian di wilayah ini, namun kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam bentuk pendampingan dan pelatihan teknik relaksasi untuk guru BK SMP Kota Prabumulih dapat terlaksana dengan lancar dan baik. Topik yang dibahas dalam pelatihan ini bersifat terkini dan guru BK belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan mendalam mengenai metode relaksasi. Peserta antusias dan terpacu untuk berpartisipasi agar dapat memahami informasi yang disajikan sepanjang kegiatan pengabdian. Hasil postest pemahaman yang diberikan juga menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru BK terhadap materi teknik relaksasi.The learning process requires students to develop creative thinking and expand their knowledge. The demands and scope of student activities often cause stress. Problems often faced by guidance and counseling teachers at partner schools include students showing aggressive behavior, boredom in studying, and the habit of procrastinating on assignments. One strategic approach a counselor can use in guidance and counseling services to help overcome this problem is relaxation techniques. Relaxation is a behavioral strategy individuals can use to develop positive internal processes in their personality. This service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of all Prabumulih City Middle School guidance and counseling teachers using relaxation techniques. This activity was conducted for junior high school guidance and counseling teachers in Prabumulih City. It was carried out during September 2022 in a blended learning manner using several training methods, namely: 1) delivery of material on relaxation techniques, 2) Training and Mentoring on relaxation techniques, 3) Independent practice of relaxation techniques, and 4) Assessment and evaluation of relaxation technique training and assistance activities. Even though there are several challenges and obstacles in implementing service activities in this area, the activities carried out in the form of mentoring and training in relaxation techniques for Prabumulih City Middle School guidance and counseling teachers can be carried out smoothly and well. The topics discussed in this training are current, and guidance and counseling teachers have never received in-depth training regarding relaxation methods. Participants are enthusiastic and motivated to participate so they can understand the information presented throughout the service activities. The results of the posttest understanding also showed increased guidance and counseling teachers' knowledge of relaxation technique material.

Abstract

Based on the questionnaire results filled out by the MGMP Natural Science teachers of Batola District, it was obtained that 44.44% stated they were sufficiently skilled in using technology when preparing science teaching materials, one of which is assessment. Therefore, the Mandatory Community Service Program team attempted to address the issue through training activities on creating technology-based science learning assessments using the Quizalize application. This training aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of MGMP Natural Science teachers in creating technology-based science learning assessments. The training will be conducted in 3 sessions hybridly, consisting of 1 session via Zoom on July 21, 2023, and 2 sessions in person at SMPN 2 Alalak School on July 29 & August 5, 2023. The methods used in this training consist of 4 stages, including planning, action, observation/evaluation, and reflection. Based on the evaluation questionnaire, it can be concluded that the participants understand and can create learning media by achieving a score of 75.08% and receiving positive responses.

Abstract

Guru masa kini diharuskan memiliki kompetensi merancang pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik. Kemampuan sebagai problem solver yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari (kontekstual) menggunakan PjBL (Project-Based Learning). Pelaksanaan PjBL melibatkan unsur yang menjadi fokus pembelajaran abad 21 yakni STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Oleh karena itu, guru seyogyanya memiliki pengetahuan mengenai PjBL dan STEM untuk diterapkan pada pembelajaran. Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai pembelajaran PjBL berbasis STEM sehingga kualitas pembelajaran sesuai tuntutan abad 21 dapat terpenuhi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pemberian materi oleh narasumber, percobaan STEM sederhana, dan diskusi serta tanya jawab antara peserta dengan narasumber. Pelatihan dilakukan pada 6 guru IPA SMP Negeri 2 Maesan, Bondowoso pada tanggal 9 Juni 2023. Pada akhir pelatihan, peserta mengisi survei melalui kuesioner yang hasilnya diukur menggunakan Skala Likert, dan diperoleh skor 87% untuk komponen pengetahuan peserta. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari isian kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta pelatihan mengenai pembelajaran PjBL berbasis STEM. Antusiasme peserta terlihat dari keaktifan mengikuti keseluruhan kegiatan pelatihan.   Today's teachers are required to have the competence to design learning that can improve students' abilities as problem solvers related to everyday life (contextual) by using PjBL (Project Based Learning). The application of PjBL involves elements that are the focus of 21st-century learning, called STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Therefore, teachers must know about PjBL and STEM to be applied in learning. Training activities were carried out for six science teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Maesan, Bondowoso, on June 9, 2023, to increase knowledge about STEM-based PjBL learning so that the quality of learning according to the demands of the 21st century can be fulfilled. The implementation method includes providing material by experts, simple STEM experiments, and discussion, including questions and answers between participants and experts. At the end of the training, participants filled out a survey via a questionnaire. The data obtained from filling out the questionnaire showed that more than half of the training participants had never applied STEM-based PjBL learning to students. This training provides benefits that increase STEM-based PjBL knowledge to trainees, and enthusiasm can be seen from active participation in every activity until the training ends.

Abstract

SLB N 1 Denpasar memberikan ruang bagi guru dan peserta didiknya untuk mengekspresikan dirinya melalui majalah sekolah Lentera Kita. Karya jurnalistik tersebut masih perlu dibenahi dalam bentuk pengelolaan manajemen media massa agar hasilnya koheren antara tubuh berita, visualisasi, dan pengemasan. Tujuan pelatihan Penyuluhan dan Edukasi Jurnalisme Sekolah di SLBN 1 Denpasar antara lain 1) agar pemahaman mengenai keterampilan menulis, khususnya dasar jurnalistik, dapat dikuasai oleh peserta didik; 2) dengan dikuasainya keterampilan menulis dasar jurnalistik, peserta didik mampu mengembangkan majalah sekolah sebagai media promosi; 3) sebagai wadah menunjukkan eksistensi peserta didik penyandang disabilitas. Acara tersebut berlangsung selama satu hari di SLB N 1 Denpasar secara luring pada Jumat, 9 Desember 2022. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan metode paparan dan evaluasi melalui kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, diketahui bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan terkait jenis-jenis kegiatan jurnalistik, jenis media jurnalistik, serta rubrik yang tersedia dalam media jurnalistik. Di samping itu, minat peserta untuk terlibat dalam kegiatan jurnalistik juga meningkat dari sebelumnya sejumlah 57% menjadi 78%.SLB N 1 Denpasar allows teachers and their students to express themselves through the Lentera Kita school magazine. This journalistic work still needs to be improved in its mass media management to align the outputs between the news body, visualization, and packaging. The objectives of the School Journalism training at SLBN 1 Denpasar are 1) so that students can understand writing skills, especially basic journalism; 2) by mastering basic journalistic writing skills, students are able to develop the school magazine as promotional media; 3) as a forum to exhibit the existences of students with disabilities. The event occurred for one day at SLB N 1 Denpasar on Friday, 9 December 2022. The training was carried out by giving explanations and conducting evaluations through questionnaires. Based on the questionnaire's results, there is a significant increase in understanding regarding the types of journalistic activities, types of journalistic media, and the rubrics space in journalistic media. Furthermore, the participants' interest in journalistic activities also increased from 57% to 78%.
