Abstract

This research is motivated by the low speaking skills of students in elementary schools. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share type cooperative model on the speaking skills of fourth grade students at SDN 160 Sukalaksana Bandung City in the 2023/2024 academic year. This study uses a type of quantitative research with a quasi experiment method with a research design of nonequivalent control group design. The population used in this study were all fourth grade students of SDN 160 Sukalaksana Bandung City, with a sample of two classes, namely class IV-A with 27 students as the experimental class, and class IV-B with 27 students as the control class. The data of this study were obtained using a speaking skill assessment rubric which was validated using the opinion of experts (judgment experts). The results showed that: 1) The description of the learning process of the experimental class is better than the control class, and the application of the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model can affect students' speaking skills. 2) The results of the hypothesis test obtained sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than 0.05 so that there is a difference in speaking skills between students who use the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model and students who use the conventional model. 3) There is an increase in students' speaking skills between students who use the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model and students who use conventional models, this can be seen through the average value of the experimental class pretest of 46.85, and the average post-test of 81.67. Meanwhile, the control class obtained an average pretest of 43.78, and an average post-test of 73.78. 4) Based on the effect size results, the use of the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model has an influence of 1.18 on students' speaking skills. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that using the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model can affect the speaking skills of students in class IV SDN 160 Sukalaksana.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the generative learning model to improve the mathematical connection of elementary school students. This research was conducted at SDN Tanjungwangi in the 2020/2021 academic year with a research sample of 20 class III A students and 20 class III B students. This research method uses a quasi-experimental method. The data analysis technique in this study uses N-gain calculations to measure the increase in students' mathematical connection abilities, (t-test) to determine the effect of using generative learning models on students' mathematical connection abilities. The results showed that (1) an increase in mathematical connection ability with an average N-gain in the experimental class obtained a result of 0.79 with the criteria "high" and the average N-gain in the control obtained a result of 0.05 with the criteria "very low" . (2) there is an effect of the use of generative models on the ability of mathematical connections with the results of tcount < ttable 0.830 < 2.024. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the generative learning model on the mathematical connection ability of elementary school students.

Abstract

The focus of this research is the causes of difficulties in learning mathematics in story problems in terms of difficulties in understanding the problem, errors in understanding concepts, technical errors in working and errors in drawing conclusions at SDN Kutajaya I. This research aims to analyze difficulties in learning mathematics in solving story problems in class students. IV at SDN Kutajaya I.. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The subjects in this research were teachers and students of class IV at the Kutajaya I State Elementary School, Tangerang Regency. After describing the data, the results of this research are: there are several types of student errors in solving story problems, including 12 errors in understanding the problem made by students with a percentage of 40%, conceptual errors made by students as many as 13 errors with a percentage of 43.3. %, there were 17 technical errors made by students with a percentage of 57%, and there were 30 errors in drawing conclusions made by students with a percentage of 100%.

Abstract

This research aims to increase student collaboration through the project based learning (PjBL) learning model for class V students at SD Negeri 19 PontianakTenggara, whose background is that many students are still unable to collaborate well. In learning, students tend to learn independently without having discussions or asking questions and answers with other students. Especially in mathematics subjects which really require cooperation in learning to achieve the maximum possible goals. The results of this research show that the use of the project based learning (PjBL) learning model can increase the cooperation of class V students at SD Negeri 19 Southeast Pontianak. This classroom action research consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The ability to collaborate was obtained through observation sheets. Based on the observation sheet, student collaboration showed an increase. It was proven from cycle I that there were 12 students who were able to collaborate. Then in cycle II it increased to 16 students who were able to collaborate. The success rate reaches 88.89% with excellent qualifications. In this case it can be concluded that using the project based learning (PjBL) learning model can increase student collaboration in class V mathematics subjects at SD Negeri 19 Pontianak Tenggara.Keywords: Cooperation,model PjBL , mathematics ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kerjasama siswa melalui model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 19 Pontianak Tenggara, yang berlatar belakang masih banyak siswanya belum mampu melakukan kerjasama yang baik. Dalam pembelajaran siswa cenderung belajar secara mandiri tanpa melakukan diskusi atau melakukan tanya jawab denagn siswa lain. Khususnya pada mata pelajaran matematila yang seharusnya sangat memerlukan kerjasama dalam belajar untuk mencapai tujuan semaksimal mungkin. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penggunaan model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan kerjasama siswa kelas V SD Negeri 19 Pontianak Tenggara. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi.Kemmapuan kerjasama diperoleh melalui lembar observasi, berdasarkan lembar observasi kerjasama siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan, terbukti dari siklus I terdapat 12 orang siswa yang mampu melakukan kerjasama. Kemudian pada siklus II meningkat yakni terdapat 16 orang siswa yang mampu melakukan kerjasama. Tingkat keberhasilan mencapai 88.89% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Dalam hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan kerjasama siswa pada mata pelajaranmatematika kelas V di SD Negeri 19 Pontianak Tenggara.Kata Kunci: Kerjasama, Model PjBL, Matematika

Abstract

Manik Maraja Village is well-known for its natural beauty and diverse natural resources. However, the village faces a serious problem in waste management, which has resulted in negative impacts on the environment and the quality of life for its residents. Garbage trucks from the district government no longer serve the village adequately, and unfair fees have burdened the residents. Some residents have resorted to managing their waste in ways that are not always environmentally friendly. Effective waste management in this village requires cooperation between the government and the community. This involves education, motivation, and training to enhance awareness and behavior of the community in waste management. The 3R paradigm (reduce, reuse, recycle) becomes a crucial approach in building this awareness. This research examines the potential for waste management in Manik Maraja Village through interviews with local stakeholders. The results indicate the need for more effective and fair solutions in waste management, as well as closer cooperation between the government and the community. Through collective efforts, it is hoped that the village can create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to find out whether the use of picture series can improve reading comprehension of descriptive text material for grade 9 students of SMP N 1 Rowosari. This research aims to (1)To find out the implications of using picture series media in improving reading comprehension of students' descriptive texts in class. (2)To explain the benefits that students get in class related to the use of picture series media to improve reading comprehension in descriptive texts. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive research method. The subjects involved in this research were 30 grade 9E students of SMP N 1 Rowosari. The research instruments used to collect data for data analysis were in the form of pre-tests, post-tests, and questionnaires. The results of the study revealed that the use of picture series to improve reading comprehension can help improve students' ability to understand reading in descriptive texts. The results obtained show that the average pre-test score is 63.67 and the post-test average is 81.33. It can be concluded that there is an increase in students' reading comprehension. This also implies that picture series can improve students' reading comprehension and contribute to increasing students' reading scores and comprehension. In addition, data from the questionnaire results show that students gave positive answers to the questions given in the questionnaire. Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of understanding of students' mathematical concepts in mathematics which is caused by a lack of motivation to learn in students and the lack of material connection with everyday life. Mathematics learning really needs to be learned by students because Mathematics has an important purpose to meet practical needs related to the development of students' abilities to use mathematics in everyday life, such as counting which is often experienced by students and can develop the ability to calculate weight. and content. Although Mathematics is considered important to learn, not a few students feel that Mathematics is difficult to master, so it is considered boring and makes students' interest in learning in Mathematics considered low. Based on the PISA annual study survey, the Indonesian Mathematics competency has decreased from 386 points in 2015 to 379 points in 2018 with an OECD average of 489. The benefits of studying Mathematics are used to make transactions in trade. One way to make mathematics more understandable is to use the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach so that students can learn more realistically. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach and whether there were changes that occurred after the treatment using this approach. This research was conducted with quantitative research methods and the research design of One Groups Pretest-Posttest Design. The subject of this research is class IV with a total of 28 students at SDN Curugrendeng II. The instrument used is a written test with a total of 10 questions. Calculation of data processing using Microsoft Office Excel 2007 and using IBM SPSS Statistics 22 with a significance level of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts with an average value of 0.691 which is included in the medium category. Thus, the understanding of mathematical concepts of students using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach changes from before the action to the final score after the action. done. And there is an effect of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on students' understanding of mathematical concepts by showing the results of sig.(2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, which means H_1 is accepted so that this Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach can be applied to learning Mathematics in Primary school.

Latar belakang yang mendorong penelitian ini adalah kurangnya pembelajaran yang efektif dan kurangnya aktifnya peserta didik sehingga hasil belajar peserta didik menjadi rendah, serta belum diterapkannya model pembelajaran STEM untuk mengembangkan soft skill peserta didik. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah model pembelajaran STEM efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik kelas VA tema 6 subtema 1 SDN Kalicari 02 Semarang? Tujuan yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran STEM untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik kelas VA tema 6 subtema 1 di SDN Kalicari 02 Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Pre Eksperimental Design yang berbentuk One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik kelas VA SDN Kalicari 02 Semarang. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu peserta didik kelas VA SDN Kalicari 02 Semarang yang terdiri dari 28 peserta didik. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini adalah mengggunakan sampling jenuh. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada analisis awal adalah uji normalitas. Analisis akhir menggunakan uji normalitas, uji hipotesis, dan uji ketuntasan belajar. Rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik yang menunjukkan pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran STEM (pretest) sebanyak 48,5714%. Sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik setelah diberi perlakuan (posttest) dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran STEM sebanyak 80,8571%. Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan hasil perhitungan uji t berpasangan dapat disimpulkan bahwa uji t berpasangan pada hasil pretest dan posttest menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,002 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima atau dapat dikatakan bahwa model pembelajaran STEM efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik kelas VA tema 6 subtema 1 di SDN Kalicari 02 Semarang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini saran yang dapat peneliti sampaikan hendaknya guru supaya menggunakan model pembelajaran STEM digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning intensity is one of the most important things in education because if students are accustomed to increasing their learning intensity, it can affect learning outcomes that increase because students are used to learning. This study aims to see if there is a relationship between learning intensity and learning outcomes in math lessons. This study uses a quantitative approach correlation method. This research was conducted at SDN 1 Pelemkerep, Pelemkerep Village, Mayong District, Jepara Regency in June 2023. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students totaling 25 students. Data collection techniques in this study were through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Validation test conducted in this study is content validity. Data analysis techniques using the correlation test. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between learning intensity and student learning outcomes, which was 0.718 with a percentage of the coefficient of determination of 51,55%.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita dibuktikan dari hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan materi perkalian dan pembagian bilangan cacah di kelas VA SD Negeri Blotongan 02. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika peserta didik melalui model Problem Based Learning mengalami peningkatan. Melalui model Problem Based Learning kemampuan peserta didik meningkat dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi perkalian dan pembagian dengan indikator memahami soal, membuat perencanaan, melaksanakan rencana, serta membuat kesimpulan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan rata-rata persentase skor indikator dalam kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita sebesar 68,04% pada siklus I menjadi 82,39% pada siklus II.
