Abstract

Penelitian ini dimotivasi oleh kondisi atlet bola tangan putra di Kota Demak yang masih menunjukkan kekuatan fisik yang relatif rendah, terutama pada otot lengan, serta terbatasnya variasi metode pelatihan yang diterapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimental pretest–posttest, memanfaatkan tes lemparan bola obat dua tangan dengan populasi 16 atlet. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui pasangan ordinal dengan memberi peringkat hasil pengukuran dari skor tertinggi hingga terendah, kemudian secara bergantian menugaskan subjek ke dalam kelompok perlakuan. Prosedur ini dimaksudkan untuk memastikan distribusi kemampuan awal yang lebih seimbang antar kelompok. Teknik analisis data meliputi statistik deskriptif, pengujian normalitas, pengujian homogenitas, dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa skor pretest rata-rata kelompok pelatihan bench press adalah 254,63, yang meningkat menjadi 355,63 pada posttest. Sementara itu, kelompok pelatihan butterfly memiliki skor pretest rata-rata 253,50, yang meningkat menjadi 295,63 pada posttest, dengan peningkatan rata-rata 42,13. Berdasarkan analisis, nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) adalah 0,006. Karena nilai Sig. 0,006 kurang dari 0,05, H0 ditolak dan Ha3 diterima. Selain itu, perbedaan rata-rata peningkatan pada kelompok bench press lebih tinggi daripada kelompok butterfly (101,00 > 42,13). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan bench press memiliki efek yang lebih besar dalam meningkatkan kekuatan otot lengan dibandingkan dengan latihan butterfly.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an animated video–based learning medium for teaching Pancasila values to fourth-grade elementary school students. The study employed a research and development method using the ADDIE model. The research subjects consisted of a fourth-grade teacher and students at SDN 182 Pekanbaru, as well as six validators, including two material experts, two language experts, and two media experts. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires, while data analysis was conducted using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The validation results showed that the animated video learning media achieved a validity percentage of 96.73% for the content aspect, 91.23% for the language aspect, and 87.5% for the media aspect, all of which fell into the very valid category. In addition, the teacher response reached 100%, and the student response reached 84.72%, both of which were categorized as very good. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the developed animated video learning media is feasible for use in learning activities and can help improve students’ understanding and learning interest in Pancasila values at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Students' memorization ability, particularly at the elementary school level, is greatly influenced by the memorization method used. Based on preliminary observations, students experience difficulties in memorizing short surahs, such as lack of fluency in pronouncing the verses and inaccuracies in recitation according to the rules of tajwid. Therefore, learning to memorize the Qur’an at the elementary school level requires appropriate methods so that students are not only able to memorize but also understand the recitation properly. The An-Nashr method is one of the methods that emphasizes gradual, structured learning accompanied by repetition, which is expected to strengthen students’ memorization. This study aims to describe the implementation of the An-Nashr method in Islamic Religious Education learning on the topic of reciting Surah Al-A’la with the sub-theme of memorizing Surah Al-A’la. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects consisted of 20 students who participated in the learning process. Data were collected through observation and performance tests. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the An-Nashr method is carried out through gradual repetition. The repetition process was proven to improve students’ fluency, accuracy of recitation, and memory of the surah being memorized. Therefore, the An-Nashr method can be considered an effective alternative in improving the ability of elementary school students to memorize surahs.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Make A Match learning model assisted by KaJeGa media (Kartu Jelajah Gaya) on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students on the topic Force in Everyday Life. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population consisted of all fourth-grade students at UPT SDN 066053 Medan in the 2025/2026 academic year, totaling 37 students. The sampling technique used was total sampling, with class IV B as the experimental group and class IV A as the control group. Data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test that had been validated and tested for reliability. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics through the Independent Samples t-Test with the assistance of SPSS software. The results showed that the average pretest score in the experimental class increased from 51.58 to 81.32 in the posttest, while the control class increased from 44.17 to 73.17. The hypothesis testing results indicated a significance value of 0.014 < 0.05, which means there is a significant effect of the Make A Match learning model assisted by KaJeGa media on students’ science learning outcomes. Therefore, the Make A Match learning model assisted by KaJeGa media is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes on the topic of force.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the implementation of real-life experience-based mathematics learning can have an impact on improving the learning abilities of children at Penato'i Kindergarten 08 in Bima City. This study uses a qualitative method involving a field research approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used the stages developed by Miles and Huberman. The results showed that teachers designed mathematics learning activities related to children's daily experiences, such as counting objects around them, grouping colours and shapes, and measuring length using simple tools. These real-life activities made children more active, enthusiastic, and able to understand mathematical concepts more easily in concrete terms. In addition to improving cognitive understanding, learning based on real-life experiences also had a positive impact on children's creative and social development, such as increased self-confidence, ability to work together, and independence in learning.

Abstract

Life Saving Appliances (LSA) are essential safety equipment that play a vital role in ensuring crew safety, particularly in emergency situations. However, the maintenance of LSA on board ships is not always carried out optimally despite routine inspections. This study aims to identify problems in LSA maintenance, analyze factors contributing to suboptimal maintenance, and formulate efforts to optimize LSA maintenance, especially lifeboats, on board MT. Pasaman The data obtained are data collected from observations where researchers observe directly the object of research, documentation where research take pictures using a camera as a supporting, and interviews where researches ask questions directly to respondents and record respondents answer. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the 3M approach (Man, Money, Method) to identify factors affecting the implementation of LSA maintenance. The results show that lifeboat maintenance has been carried out in accordance with SOLAS, ISM Code, and the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) procedures. However, the implementation has not been fully optimal due to operational time constraints, uneven crew understanding, and inspections that are not conducted comprehensively. Optimization efforts can be achieved by improving supervision of maintenance activities, conducting regular safety meetings and drills, and adjusting maintenance schedules to ship operational activities to ensure the readiness of safety equipment.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the social values ​​contained in the novel Seporsi Mie Ayam Sebelum Mati by Brian Khrisna based on the philosophy of values ​​of Prof. Dr. Notonegoro. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data are in the form of quotations of sentences, paragraphs, and dialogues contained in the novel Seporsi Mie Ayam Sebelum Mati by Brian Khrisna published by PT Gramedia Widiasarana Indonesia in 2025. Data collection techniques are carried out through reading, listening, and taking notes, while data analysis is carried out by identifying, classifying, and interpreting the social values ​​found in the novel. The validity of the data is tested through expert triangulation. The results of the study show that this novel contains three types of social values ​​according to Notonegoro, namely material values, vital values, and spiritual values. Material values ​​are found in 27 quotations related to the fulfillment of human physical needs. Vital values ​​are found in 45 quotations related to the means or tools that support human activities. Meanwhile, spiritual values ​​were the most dominant, with 157 quotations, consisting of truth (35), beauty (32), moral values ​​(71), and religious values ​​(19). This finding indicates that the novel not only depicts realistic social life but also emphasizes moral and spiritual values ​​that can serve as reflections for readers in understanding the meaning of life.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interpersonal communication and self-confidence on students’ learning outcomes in the Marketing subject of Grade XI Marketing Department at SMK Negeri 7 Medan in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed a quantitative approach using an ex post facto method. The sample consisted of the entire population, totaling 65 students, who were all selected as respondents through total sampling. The research instruments included questionnaires on interpersonal communication and self-confidence, as well as documentation of students’ learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 27. The results showed that interpersonal communication had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes (sig. < 0.05). Self-confidence also had a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes (sig. < 0.05). Simultaneously, interpersonal communication and self-confidence had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.57. This indicates that 57% of the variation in students’ learning outcomes can be explained by interpersonal communication and self-confidence, while the remaining 43% is influenced by other factors outside this study.

Abstract

Naturalistic intelligence in early childhood refers to the ability to recognize and understand the natural environment. This study aims to describe children's naturalistic intelligence based on environmental exploration behavior in Taman Pesona Bangka Housing Area, Sungailiat District, Bangka Regency. The study used a descriptive quantitative approach with 30 children aged 3–7 years as the sample. Data were collected through observation and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results show that environmental exploration behavior is in the high category, while naturalistic intelligence ranges from moderate to high.

Abstract

Early reading skills are a fundamental component in developing students’ literacy abilities at the elementary school level, particularly in first grade. However, many students still experience difficulties in recognizing letters, combining letters into syllables, and understanding simple words. Therefore, appropriate learning media are needed to support the development of early reading skills. This study aims to analyze various research findings related to the use of flashcard media in improving early reading skills of elementary school students. The research employed a literature study (library research) method by reviewing relevant books, scientific articles, and research documents. Data sources were obtained from journal articles published between 2019 and 2025 through databases such as Google Scholar and Publish or Perish. Data collection was conducted through documentation techniques, while data analysis involved identifying, classifying, and analyzing the findings of previous studies. The results of the literature review indicate that the use of flashcard media has a positive impact on improving students’ early reading skills. Flashcards help students recognize letters, syllables, and simple words more easily through visual representations. In addition, the use of flashcards can enhance students’ motivation, interest, and active participation in learning, making the learning process more interactive and enjoyable.
