Abstract

The value of tolerance is a value that must be fulfilled in every school through strengthening school culture. But not every school has a good culture in developing the value of tolerance. The aim of this research is to find out the utilization of school culture in the application of tolerance value. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The result of this research shows that the school culture strengthens the value of tolerance through 1) vision-mission has the direction of tolerance value formation. 2) The principal has a strategic role in implementing policies to foster the value of tolerance. 3) Internalization of tolerance in learning by teachers. 4) Tolerance practices in extracurricular activities. It should be realized that attitude formation must be carried out continuously for a long time. At least schools in Yogyakarta provide hope for the realization of the value of tolerance naturally.

Abstract

Individuals of Kampung Dukuh have their own uniqueness, which should be visible from their straightforward way of life and submitting to the encompassing standard principles, with this peculiarity turning into a neighborhood insight that can be utilized as a wellspring of social examinations learning, connected with issues that should be visible from the should be visible from the variable of diminishing information on nearby insight. The reason for this study was to get data about the conventional traditions of Kampung Dukuh seen from the presently creating customs like the Cebor Opatpuluh custom. Abstract

The Climate Crisis is one of the issues that need attention in the world of education, one of the efforts made is through the adiwiyata program which is followed by schools with certain criteria. The adiwiyata school program is often seen as only being able to be realized by schools that have large land. This study discusses SMP Negeri 6 Madiun with school land in the middle of the city and not widely trying to be able to cultivate the character of caring for the environment through adiwiyata cadres. This study approach uses a qualitative approach with a process of collecting data from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study obtained show that adiwiyata cadres cultivate environmentally caring character for students through (1) the formation of adiwiyata cadres who will be included in working groups with each appropriate criteria, (2) Empowerment of adiwiyata cadres, in the form of motivation, invitation, and example. (3) monitoring and evaluating the activities of adiwiyata cadres through each working group. The study is expected to inspire good practices in cultivating environmental care characters through Adiwiyata School as a form of concern for the climate crisis

Abstract

Communication Model Lifestyle of Islamic adolescents towards religious differences in addressing understanding. Differences between communities on understanding and behavior is a study to carry out a model of communication between Muslim adolescent communities in the city of Semarang. This study examines the communication model of the differences between the four young mosque activist communities (NU, Muhammadiyah, Tabligh, and LDII) in Semarang. The research method uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects of young mosque activists as the primary informants were based on a purposive sampling technique. The study results are a Communication Model between four religious communities that conflict over differences in understanding. The results of research on the lives of four Muslim communities on lifestyle differences lead to disputes between Muslim communities. Differences in Muslim lifestyles raise potential conflicts between the four Muslim communities of NU, Muhammadiyah, Tabligh, and LDII. The different problems can be integrated with the existence of a social communication model between the four Muslim communities in Semarang.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to explore and analyze the socio-cultural life of the indigenous people of Korea after the two centuries of the eruption of Mount Tambora in 1815. This research uses an ethnographic approach and design in qualitative research methods. The typical phenomenon studied only exists in the Kore Tribe. The focus of this research is the socio-cultural life of the indigenous people of Kore after the 2nd century eruption of Mount Tambora. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity using triangulation. Data was analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model. The results showed that the socio-cultural life of the indigenous people of Kore after two centuries of the eruption of Mount Tambora has changed, but there are still traditions and customs that are still maintained today. The Kore people meet Unesco standards as cultural heritage, that is, they have oral traditions, arts, social practices or traditions in our language equivalents, ceremonies or rituals, celebrations, and traditional handicrafts. However, in its development, it was influenced by many foreign cultures, especially the Mbojo (Bima) culture. Kore's oral traditions, arts, traditions, and original celebrations tend to be influenced by Mbojo culture and are even very dominant.

Abstract

This research is motivated by this collision occurs between fellow Muslims in Indonesia to live a religious life often occur because of differences in the implementation of religious activities in cultural traditions. This study describes the relationship between religion and local traditions as well as the need to maintain local traditions in religious practices as well as the efforts made to preserve local traditions NU. For that the method used is the historical research methods and methods for collecting data to study the documents, literature study, observation, and interviews NU figures. This Study uses structuration theory Anthony Giddens about Agents, Agency, Structure, and Duality of Structure. NU declared himself as the successor of propaganda struggle Walisongo were also very tolerant of local traditions that make efforts to maintain its religious rituals without removing the existing local traditions.

Abstract

This research focuses on the social competencies possessed by UPI Social Sciences Education students and to discover the condition and development of social communication skills after participating in the MSIB program. Research data was obtained using questionnaires, interviews and documentation methods. The research was carried out at the Faculty of Social Sciences Education, Social Sciences Education Study Program at the Indonesian University of Education, with informants from the UPI MSIB Coordinator and UPI Social Sciences Education Students who had participated in the MSIB program. The results of the research show that there are developments and benefits felt by UPI Social Sciences Education students in improving communication skills which is the main requirement in social interaction to establish relationships with other fellow students and has a good impact in developing student competencies in communication, technology and social skills. while participating in the MSIB program. So, students feel a positive impact after participating in the program. Students feel more confident and disciplined in managing time for themselves than before joining the MSIB program. Although in implementation, students must be ready to adapt to several technical changes in the Independent Campus program policy process determined by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum can be interpreted through the implementation of independent learning-based learning in elementary schools as a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila (P5) students. This curriculum adjustment is a form of the government's seriousness in dealing with problems that occur in the world of education. One of the problems currently occurring is the fading of cultural values based on local wisdom in students' identities. Students tend to be interested in gadgets and foreign culture that is gained from using these gadgets. In this way, the author wants to discuss the implementation of strengthening the cultural values listed in lesson P5 with the P5 theme discussed being local wisdom in phase C of elementary school. This research was carried out in class 5b at SDN 1 Kondangsari. The aim of this research is to determine the application of P5 learning and its impacts. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected using interview and documentation techniques. The samples taken were 30 grade 5 elementary school students. The result of this research is that the implementation of p5 with the theme of local wisdom at SDN 1 Kondangsari has been running quite uniquely and creatively. This can be seen from the outdoor- based learning process which is fun and blends with nature.

Abstract

Social interaction in the Housing Community has an important role in shaping relationships between individuals that can affect the quality of life in the Housing Community. This study aims to analyze the pattern of social interaction in the community in Bumi Parahyangan Kencana Housing, Bandung Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach to the case study method whose data collection was done by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed the pattern of social interaction of residents of Bumi Parahyangan Kencana Housing has different diversity in each type of house design. This is due to the adaptation of residents of Bumi Parahyangan Kencana Housing in conducting social interactions. It is concluded that the pattern of community interaction in Bumi Parahyangan Kencana Housing is in the form of associative social interaction patterns, but conflicts cannot be avoided by residents in every type of house design.

Abstract

This research focuses on the application of ethnoecology-based environmental management in social studies learning as well as students' understanding of ethnoecology-based environmental management. Research data was obtained using observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaire methods. The research was carried out at SMP Negeri 4 Bae, Kudus Regency, with informants from the school principal, social studies teacher and students. The research results show that: 1) ethnoecology-based environmental management in social studies learning has implemented two habits; namely morning exemplary activities in the form of morning pickets which are carried out before learning begins by students according to the picket schedule, as well as learning in nature in the form of planting activities, making drainage and managing waste which are tailored to learning outcomes; and 2) students' understanding of ethnoecology-based environmental management, including: aspects of wisdom, independence, religion, creativity and healthy living. Wisdom can be seen through the application of 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle); independence through students being able to carry out class pickets without having to be instructed; Religious is seen from students being able to take advantage of the environment by upholding religious values; student creativity in managing used goods in craft activities or class competitions; and healthy lifestyle. With motivation and good examples from teachers, students will be created who understand and care about environmental management.
