Abstract

The basic principles of Islamic Education Management contain various flexible general principles so that they are in line with good progress and development. These principles are what distinguish between general education management and Islamic education management. The purpose of this study is to explain the basic principles of management in Islamic Education. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach. This study was conducted using a number of data and information derived from the results of the literature which were then presented with new results. The results of the study indicate that Islamic Education Management contained in the Al-Quran and its relevance to life in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era is the principle of sincerity, honesty, trustworthiness and justice. One of the basic principles that is no less important in Islamic Education Management is the nature of justice in schools, students must be instilled with the values of Islamic education, namely multicultural Islamic education as a basis or foundation that is incorporated in this Islamic Education Management, the theory of justice can be utilized.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Think Pair Share learning strategy at MTS Class VII of the As-Shofa Education Foundation, running as expected or not. This research reveals based on what happens in the field, namely when the Think Pair Share strategy is applied in the classroom. The type of research used in this study is a type of qualitative research method. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and interviews. The research data analysis process in this study has three components, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity techniques in this research are lingering, lengthy and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the Think Pair Share learning strategy applied at school attracts students' reactions to learning, namely: fun, lessons are easier to understand, and train to be able to work together and respect the opinions of others. The results also show the obstacles to the implementation of Think Pair Share, namely: small classrooms, as well as inadequate facilities hinder the application of this strategy and require a lot of time in its application.

Abstract

This research is qualitative research. Data sources used include interviews, observation and documentation. The aim of this research is to understand the meaning of the bathing tradition, the process of carrying out the bathing event, and the values ​​of Islamic education contained in this tradition in Jorong Sungai Dareh. The research results show that the tradition of bathing is the first moment for children to be introduced to the surrounding environment. Apart from that, this tradition is also a form of gratitude for the birth of a child. The implementation of the bathing tradition is carried out in several stages, including determining the day, mammanggia, cooking together (mamasak basamo), baarak bako, baarak bathing the child, the process of bathing the child, mamabadak, and praying together. The educational values ​​contained in the bathing tradition include gratitude, friendship, worship, mutual cooperation, almsgiving, respect for guests, and caring.

Abstract

Curriculum development with a technological approach is a relevant model to be implemented at MTs Matsartul Huda Panempan Pamekasan, especially in the current era of the industrial revolution. This approach is felt to be very appropriate to the needs of the times, so it is important to be integrated into curriculum development at the elementary school level. Moreover, the independent curriculum currently being implemented aims to provide students with greater flexibility in directing their learning process. This research aims to explore and analyze the use of a technological approach in developing an independent curriculum for Arabic language learning at MTs Matsaratul Huda Panempan Pamekasan. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Determine data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The use of technology to develop a free curriculum for learning Arabic at MTs Matsaratul Huda Panempan Pamekasan has become relevant and effective, in line with the characteristics of the current generation. The use of technology can improve the quality of learning, help students to improve skills relevant to the digital era and prepare them to face change and innovation. In this way, the use of technology in the Arabic language learning process becomes more measurable, creative and relevant to the needs of the current generation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of mindfulness techniques on the learning motivation of class VI students at SDN Paberasan I Sumenep. Motivation to learn is an important factor in educational success, but initial observations show that students have a low level of concentration and enthusiasm in learning. One approach that can be used to increase learning motivation is mindfulness techniques, which involve mindfulness exercises such as breathing, focusing on the body, and visualizing learning goals. This research uses a mixed method with a Concurrent Embedded design, where the qualitative approach is dominant and quantitative data is used as support. Data was collected through observation, interviews and questionnaires, with total sampling involving all sixth grade students as research subjects. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis for interview and observation data, as well as descriptive statistical analysis for questionnaire results. The research results show that the implementation of mindfulness techniques has a positive impact on students' learning motivation. Observations show that students become more focused, relaxed and enthusiastic in learning. Interviews with students also confirmed that this technique helps them be more enthusiastic and confident in learning. The questionnaire results show an average percentage of 74.58%, which is included in the "good" category according to the Likert scale. Thus, it can be concluded that mindfulness techniques provide good results on student learning motivation. This technique can be applied by educators as a learning strategy to create a more conducive and enjoyable learning environment. Abstract

Pondok Modern Sirojul Munir implements the Kulliyatu Al-Mu’allimin Al-Islamiyyah (KMI) curriculum as a strategy to improve the quality of human resources (HR) in addressing the challenges of the globalization era. This curriculum focuses on mastering Arabic and English languages and developing Islamic character. This study aims to identify the key factors driving the adoption of the KMI curriculum, examine the challenges encountered during its implementation, and analyze strategies to overcome these obstacles. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis as data collection methods. The findings reveal that the KMI curriculum significantly contributes to enhancing the quality of students’ HR, despite challenges such as adaptation issues, limited language proficiency, and low public awareness. Pondok Modern Sirojul Munir employs various strategies, including counseling programs, facility upgrades, and intensive monitoring, to address these challenges. This study provides insights into the potential of the KMI curriculum as a pesantren education model that aligns with contemporary demands.

Abstract

Environmental issues have become a major concern due to various human activities that disrupt ecosystem balance. This study aims to explore the role of Social and Natural Sciences (IPAS) learning in fostering environmental awareness among fifth-grade students at SDN Klampis 02. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using systematic literature review methods to analyze data from various sources. The findings revealed that project-based, collaborative, and context-driven IPAS learning effectively enhanced students' awareness of the importance of environmental preservation. Activities such as direct observation, recycling projects, and group discussions successfully encouraged student engagement in environmental issues. Despite challenges like limited facilities and initial awareness, support from teachers, parents, and school principals significantly contributed to successful implementation. This study highlights the importance of IPAS learning as a means to instill environmental values in students from an early age.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan uji kompetensi guru melalui penerapan teknik coaching di SMK Pelayaran Jakarta. Dalam konteks pendidikan, kepala sekolah memiliki tanggung jawab yang signifikan dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia, termasuk guru, untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah, yang mencakup perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, dan pengawasan, berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru. Melalui teknik coaching yang diterapkan, kepala sekolah mampu memberikan bimbingan dan dukungan kepada guru dalam mengembangkan keterampilan pedagogik dan profesional mereka. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penguatan kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah melalui teknik coaching dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan hasil uji kompetensi guru, sehingga berkontribusi pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SMK Pelayaran Jakarta.

Abstract

Human resource development (HRD) is a program aimed at improving individual quality through education. Therefore, it is important for Indonesia to implement effective educational approaches, focusing on creativity and innovation while also applying education based on religion and Pancasila. Education in Indonesia needs to be supported by policies that enhance quality, such as the possibility of reinstating national exams after a four-year absence. Changes in the education system are crucial for fostering innovation and creativity. Education should be engaging and enjoyable, with teachers who continuously learn to provide positive learning experiences for students. Islam, as a religion that emphasizes education, teaches the importance of early education to shape a quality generation. The research method used in this analysis is descriptive or documentation study, aimed at illustrating how Islamic education can contribute to HR development. The findings indicate that quality education is key to enhancing individuals' contributions to society. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Indonesia is based on Pancasila values, emphasizing belief in God as a moral guide. Thus, education serves as a means to build and develop students' character and personality while creating a supportive community for goodness and truth.

Abstract

The brain is integrated in the education and learning process because the brain is the center for storing knowledge. The brain has a role as a control center for various body functions and mental processes. The brain plays a key role in how we obtain, process and store information. Among the brain's roles in education and learning: as an information processing center. When we learn, the brain receives data through the senses (sight, hearing, etc.), then processes the information, stores it in memory, and allows us to access it when needed. This process involves various areas of the brain, such as the prefrontal cortex (for planning and decision making) and the hippocampus (for memory formation). The brain allows us to learn through experience and repetition. This process involves structural changes in the brain called neuroplasticity, in which connections between nerve cells are strengthened or made new. Our brains are involved in decision making and problem solving during the learning process. When we are faced with a new task or problem, the brain analyzes the information, makes judgments, and chooses the most appropriate solution.Effective education depends on our understanding of how the brain works in learning and how we can create an environment that supports optimal cognitive development. This research aims to look at the role of the brain in the education and learning process more deeply, so the method used is qualitative, namely researching a problem in depth, collecting and analyzing non-numerical data such as reading texts, books, videos, bulletins and so on.
