Abstract

Anxiety disorders are the most prevalent mental health issues among adolescents worldwide. These issues can make it hard for individuals to control their fear of future events, and they can lead to a decline in physical, cognitive, social relationships, and occupational functions. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of group intervention based on self-compassion principles in reducing anxiety levels among high school adolescents. Self-compassion involves having a kind and understanding attitude towards oneself when facing suffering. The intervention was conducted in a group setting because adolescents often find it easier to relate and learn from their peers. This study suggests that group intervention based on self-compassion principles can increase self-compassion levels and decrease anxiety levels in high school adolescents. However, the significance of the quantitative changes remains inconsistent. Factors such as participants’ intrinsic motivation, commitment to attendance, school support, group cohesiveness, and the facilitator’s role in improving therapeutic group dynamics need to be evaluated to enhance the effectiveness of this group intervention. Gangguan kecemasan merupakan masalah kesehatan mental yang paling umum di kalangan remaja di seluruh dunia. Gangguan ini dapat berdampak negatif bagi individu dalam mengendalikan rasa takut terhadap kejadian di masa depan, serta menyebabkan penurunan fungsi fisik, kognitif, hubungan sosial, dan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas intervensi kelompok berbasis prinsip-prinsip self-compassion dalam mengurangi tingkat kecemasan di kalangan remaja SMA. Self-compassion atau dalam bahasa Indonesia disebut welas diri adalah sikap yang penuh kebaikan dan pengertian terhadap diri sendiri ketika menghadapi penderitaan. Intervensi pada penelitian ini dilakukan dalam kelompok karena remaja seringkali lebih mudah mengidentifikasi diri dan belajar dari teman sebaya. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi kelompok berbasis prinsip-prinsip self-compassion dapat meningkatkan tingkat self-compassion dan menurunkan tingkat kecemasan pada remaja SMA. Namun, signifikansi perubahan secara kuantitatif masih inkonsisten. Faktor-faktor seperti motivasi intrinsik peserta, komitmen terhadap kehadiran, dukungan dari guru-guru sekolah, kohesivitas kelompok, serta peran fasilitator dalam meningkatkan dinamika kelompok yang terapeutik perlu dievaluasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas intervensi kelompok ini.

Abstract

The advancement of communication technology has facilitated social interactions but has also opened the door to bullying behaviors that are harder to detect. Cyberbullying differs from conventional bullying as perpetrators can launch attacks through various social media platforms, forums, and messaging applications. This research aimed to analyze and understand the psychological and social dynamics experienced by victims of cyberbullying among middle school students, and to identify the impacts of these experiences on their emotional well-being, social interactions, and psychological development. A qualitative approach was used, allowing the researcher to grasp the dynamics experienced by the subjects. Victims of cyberbullying were found to experience similar negative effects, starting from disturbances at school that extended to social media. These negative impacts included feelings of deep hurt, loss of self-confidence, social rejection, and a desire for revenge. However, a positive impact was also identified, in the form of increased motivation to surpass the bully. The implications of this study highlight the need for more comprehensive school policies and proactive measures to effectively address cyberbullying.Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi semakin memudahkan interaksi sosial, namun di sisi lain juga membuka peluang bagi perilaku bullying yang lebih sulit terdeteksi. Cyberbullying berbeda dari bentuk bullying konvensional karena pelaku dapat melancarkan serangan melalui berbagai platform media sosial, forum, dan aplikasi pesan singkat. untuk menganalisis dan memahami dinamika psikologis dan sosial yang dialami oleh korban cyberbullying di kalangan peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Pertama, serta mengidentifikasi dampak yang timbul dari pengalaman tersebut terhadap kesejahteraan emosional, interaksi sosial, dan perkembangan psikologis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yang memungkinkan peneliti memahami gambaran dinamika subjek. korban cyberbullying mengalami dampak yang serupa dengan gangguan yang dimulai di lingkungan sekolah dan kemudian meluas ke media sosial. Dampak negatif yang dirasakan termasuk perasaan sakit hati, hilangnya kepercayaan diri, penolakan sosial, dan keinginan untuk membalas dendam. Namun, dampak positif berupa peningkatan motivasi untuk menjadi lebih baik dari pelaku juga ditemukan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan perlunya kebijakan dan tindakan yang lebih komprehensif dari pihak sekolah dalam menangani cyberbullying secara proaktif.

Abstract

Human functioning in a professional environment is becoming more efficient; however, this is not always commensurate with increased objectivity. Today, members of Generation Z express concerns about various work disruptions, including negative impacts on mental health caused by unhealthy work environments, which are often characterized by disrupted deadlines. This condition often leads to delays and ultimately has an impact on overall performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of person-organization-fit, work-life balance and psychological empowerment on the totality of work. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple regression and adaptation of measuring instruments derived from previous studies, with the research subjects being Generation Z who work in the South Jakarta area. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, with a total of 208 respondents. The results of the study indicate that the totality of work is influenced by person-organization fit, work-life balance and psychological empowerment, with the greatest influence on work-life balance on the totality of work and the smallest influence on psychological empowerment on the totality of work of Generation Z, together person-organization fit, work-life balance and psychological empowerment affect the totality of work of Generation Z. Fungsi manusia dalam lingkungan profesional menjadi semakin efisien; namun, hal ini tidak selalu sebanding dengan peningkatan objektivitas. Saat ini, anggota Generasi Z mengungkapkan kekhawatiran terkait berbagai gangguan pekerjaan, termasuk dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan mental yang disebabkan oleh lingkungan kerja yang tidak sehat, yang sering kali ditandai dengan tenggat waktu yang terganggu. Kondisi ini sering kali berujung pada penundaan dan akhirnya berdampak pada penurunan kinerja secara keseluruhan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh person organization-fit, keseimbangan hidup dan pemberdayaan psikologis terhadap totalitas kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan regresi berganda dan adaptasi alat ukur berasal dari penelitian sebelumnya, dengan subjek penelitian adalah generasi Z yang bekerja di kawasan Jakarta Selatan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 208 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa totalitas kerja di pengaruh oleh person-organization fit, keseimbangan kerja & hidup serta pemberdayaan psikologis, dengan pengaruh terbesar pada keseimbangan kerja & hidup terhadap totalitas kerja dan pengaruh terkecil pada pemberdayaan psikologi terhadap totalitas kerja generasi Z, secara bersama-sama person-organization fit, keseimbangan kerja & hidup pemberdayaan psikologis secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi totalitas kerja generasi Z.

Abstract

Elementary schools play a crucial role as the foundation for children's academic and social development, particularly between the ages of six and twelve. Positive reinforcement is effective in reducing student absenteeism and tardiness. The objective of this research is to integrate theoretical understanding from lectures with practical skills in the field and to enhance student learning interest at Muhammadiyah Manyar Elementary School through the application of Positive Reinforcement Techniques. The research method uses a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test aimed at improving the learning interest of fifth-grade students at Muhammadiyah Manyar Elementary School through the application of Positive Reinforcement Techniques. The research results indicate that positive reinforcement techniques have a significant effect on improving students' learning interest. All subjects experienced an increase in scores after the intervention, indicating that positive reinforcement can create a supportive environment for students to be more motivated to learn. The implications of this research are the need for adaptive and collaborative approaches in education, where reinforcement strategies not only enhance academic outcomes but also contribute to character development and shape individuals who are more confident and motivated to learn throughout their lives. Sekolah dasar berperan penting sebagai fondasi perkembangan akademik dan sosial anak-anak, khususnya pada usia enam hingga dua belas tahun. Penguatan positif efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat absensi dan keterlambatan siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengintegrasikan pemahaman teoritis dari perkuliahan dengan keterampilan praktis di lapangan dan meningkatkan minat belajar siswa di SD Muhammadiyah Manyar melalui penerapan Teknik Reinforcement Positif. Metode Penelitian menggunakan eksperimen kuasi dengan desain pre-test dan post-test yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas 5 di SD Muhammadiyah Manyar melalui penerapan Teknik Reinforcement Positif. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukkan bahwa teknik reinforcement positif memiliki efek yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Seluruh subjek mengalami peningkatan skor setelah intervensi dilakukan, yang mengindikasikan bahwa reinforcement positif mampu menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung bagi siswa untuk lebih termotivasi dalam belajar. Implikasi dari penelitian ini yaitu perlunya pendekatan adaptif dan kolaboratif dalam pendidikan di mana strategi reinforcement tidak hanya meningkatkan hasil akademis tetapi juga berkontribusi pada pengembangan karakter siswa dan membentuk individu yang lebih percaya diri dan termotivasi dalam belajar sepanjang hidup.

Abstract

Schools ensure that students acquire knowledge and skills through various activities, both academic and non-academic, to help them achieve their full potential. However, in addition to intelligence, learning success also depends on a sense of responsibility and self-confidence, as well as self-confidence. Self-confidence plays an important role in children's daily lives, especially when they are in a new environment or facing a situation they have never experienced before. This study aims to identify changes in students' self-confidence levels, as well as evaluate the effect of positive reinforcement on their ability to tell stories with confidence. Using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, this study observed students and applied a positive reinforcement storytelling method to improve their self-confidence. The results of this study indicate that the positive reinforcement storytelling method significantly improved students' self-confidence, as seen from higher scores and positive behaviors that emerged. This study presents an effective teaching method to improve students' self-confidence, providing important insights for educational practices that support students' social and emotional development in the classroom. The implications of this study are able to help the development of educational psychology by emphasizing the importance of an interactive and holistic approach to improving students' self-confidence, which can ultimately have an impact on academic performance.Sekolah memastikan bahwa siswa memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui berbagai kegiatan, baik akademik maupun non-akademik, untuk membantu mereka mencapai potensi terbaik mereka. Namun, selain kecerdasan, keberhasilan belajar juga bergantung pada rasa tanggung jawab dan keyakinan terhadap diri sendiri, serta rasa percaya diri. Kepercayaan diri memiliki peranan penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari anak, terutama saat mereka berada di lingkungan baru atau menghadapi situasi yang belum pernah dialami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perubahan dalam tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa, serta mengevaluasi pengaruh penguatan positif terhadap kemampuan mereka dalam bercerita dengan percaya diri. Menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), penelitian ini mengamati siswa dan menerapkan metode cerita dengan reinforcement positive untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri mereka. Hasil dari penlitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode bercerita dengan reinforcement positive secara signifikan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa, yang dapat dilihat dari skor yang lebih tinggi dan perilaku positif yang muncul. Penelitian ini menyajikan metode pengajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa, memberikan wawasan penting bagi praktik pendidikan yang mendukung perkembangan sosial dan emosional siswa di dalam kelas. Implikasi penelitian ini mampu membantu perkembangan psikologi pendidikan dengan menekankan pentingnya pendekatan interaktif dan holistik untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa, yang pada akhirnya dapat berdampak pada kinerja akademik.

Abstract

Emerging adulthood is when individuals begin to explore and experience many changes in their lives. Social support can improve psychological well-being during this challenging developmental stage. However, research on the influence of emotional invalidation on psychological well-being is still minimal. This study aims to determine the role of emotional invalidation and social support on psychological well-being in early adulthood. This study involved 266 samples consisting of male and female Indonesian citizens aged 18-29 years and applied quantitative methods with purposive sampling techniques. The instruments used for data collection were the Psychological Well-Being Scale, the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, and The Perceived Invalidation of Emotion Scale, which were then analyzed using multiple linear regression. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in improving emotional regulation skills and reducing self-harm behaviors among university students aged 18–25 with a history of family relationship issues and tendencies toward self-harm. Using a one-group before-and-after experimental design, five participants underwent six DBT intervention sessions, encompassing phases of introduction, problem identification, and emotional regulation strategies. Research instruments included the Self-Harm Inventory (SHI), Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), as well as graphic tests, observation, and interviews. Results showed a significant improvement in the cognitive reappraisal aspect and a reduction in expressive suppression in the ERQ, indicating adaptive emotional regulation skill enhancement. Additionally, self-harm scores on the SHI decreased for most participants. Qualitative data also supported these findings, with participants beginning to apply positive strategies such as exercising and socializing with close friends. In conclusion, DBT is effective in helping individuals with self-harm tendencies improve emotional regulation and reduce maladaptive behaviors. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan regulasi emosi dan mengurangi perilaku self-harm pada mahasiswa berusia 18–25 tahun dengan riwayat masalah dalam hubungan keluarga dan kecenderungan self-harm. Menggunakan metode eksperimen one-group before-after design, lima partisipan mengikuti enam sesi intervensi DBT, yang terdiri dari tahapan perkenalan, identifikasi masalah, dan strategi regulasi emosi. Instrumen penelitian berupa Self-Harm Inventory (SHI), Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), serta alat tes grafis, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada aspek cognitive reappraisal dan penurunan expressive suppression dalam ERQ, menandakan peningkatan kemampuan regulasi emosi yang adaptif. Selain itu, skor self-harm pada SHI menurun pada sebagian besar partisipan. Data kualitatif juga mendukung hasil ini, dengan partisipan mulai menerapkan strategi positif, seperti berolahraga dan berkumpul dengan orang terdekat. Abstract

Preschool education is widely recognized for its important role in building the early stages of a child's development before entering formal education. One potential method to support cognitive skills in children is through traditional games, such as congklak. The aim of this study is to describe the effect of using the congklak media in improving pre-math skills in kindergarten children at TK Al-Baqy. The research method used is experimental to test the effectiveness of the congklak game in enhancing children's pre-math skills. The intervention was conducted over 30 days with four meeting sessions. The program in this experiment focuses on improving pre-math skills through the congklak game as the main stimulus. In this context, the independent variable applied is the congklak game, while the dependent variable is the children's pre-math skills or early counting abilities. The results of the study show that the application of the congklak game as an intervention method can improve basic counting skills in children, changing the way they view mathematics with a fun and experiential approach. Positive reinforcement during the learning process also proved effective in increasing the children's self-confidence and learning motivation. The implications of this study are that game-based approaches can be an innovative solution in overcoming children's learning difficulties, increasing their interest in mathematics, and strengthening the social and emotional skills that are essential in child development.Pendidikan prasekolah secara luas diakui memiliki peran penting dalam membangun tahap awal perkembangan anak sebelum memasuki pendidikan formal. Salah satu metode yang potensial untuk mendukung keterampilan kognitif pada anak-anak adalah melalui permainan tradisional, seperti congklak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan media congklak dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pra-berhitung pada anak TK B di TK Al-Baqy. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen untuk menguji efektivitas permainan congklak dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pra-berhitung anak. Intervensi dilaksanakan selama 30 hari dengan durasi empat sesi pertemuan. Program dalam eksperimen ini berfokus pada peningkatan kemampuan pra-berhitung melalui permainan congklak sebagai stimulus utama. Dalam konteks ini, variabel independen yang diterapkan adalah permainan congklak, sementara variabel dependen adalah kemampuan pra-berhitung atau berhitung permulaan subjek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan permainan congklak sebagai metode intervensi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung dasar pada anak-anak, mengubah cara mereka memandang matematika dengan pendekatan yang menyenangkan dan berbasis pengalaman. Penguatan positif selama proses pembelajaran juga terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan motivasi belajar anak. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pendekatan berbasis permainan dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar anak-anak, meningkatkan minat mereka terhadap matematika, serta memperkuat keterampilan sosial dan emosional yang esensial dalam perkembangan anak.

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is one of the developmental disorders commonly found in children. Parenting a child with autism is challenging. Parents, especially mothers, play a crucial role in raising children with autism, but mothers often experience difficulties and high levels of stress. This underscores the need for parenting self-efficacy to support their caregiving. Parenting self-efficacy is influenced by several factors, one of which is social support. This study aims to examine the influence of social support on the parenting self-efficacy of mothers of children with autism. Additionally, it seeks to identify the significant sources of social support that affect the parenting self-efficacy of mothers with children with autism. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach involving 79 mothers in Indonesia. Data were collected using questionnaires containing the Self-Efficacy for Parenting Task Index (SEPTI) and The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) distributed online. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. The analysis revealed that social support influences the parenting self-efficacy of mothers of children with autism. Furthermore, it was found that support from partners is a significant source of social support affecting the parenting self-efficacy of mothers. This research emphasizes the importance of parental cooperation in raising children with autism. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) merupakan salah satu gangguan perkembangan yang banyak ditemukan pada anak-anak. Pengasuhan bagi anak penyandang autisme merupakan sesuatu yang menantang. Orang tua, khususnya ibu, memiliki peranan penting dalam pengasuhan anak penyandang autisme, tetapi ibu seringkali mengalami kesulitan dan tingkat stres yang tinggi. Hal ini mendorong kebutuhan akan adanya parenting-self efficacy untuk mendukung pengasuhan mereka. Parenting self-efficacy dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah dukungan sosial. Melalui penelitian ini, ingin diketahui pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap parenting self-efficacy ibu yang memiliki anak penyandang autisme. Kemudian, ingin diketahui sumber dukungan sosial yang berperan secara signifikan terhadap parenting self-efficacy ibu dari anak penyandang autisme. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif terhadap 79 ibu di Indonesia. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang memuat instrumen Self-Efficacy for Parenting Task Index (SEPTI) dan The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) yang disebarkan secara daring. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui bahwa dukungan sosial berperan terhadap parenting self-efficacy ibu dari anak penyandang autisme. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa dukungan dari pasangan merupakan sumber dukungan sosial yang dapat berperan terhadap parenting self-efficacy ibu. Hasil penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya kerjasama orang tua dalam pengasuhan anak penyandang autisme.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of local culture-based learning in elementary schools, with a focus on the use of mother tongue and regional cultural content in Buleleng Regency. Qualitative research methods were used to collect data through interviews, observations and document analysis of teachers from various levels of teaching experience. The research results show that most teachers recognize the importance of developing teaching materials related to local culture, although challenges are still found in the use of regional languages and the development of relevant learning media. The implications of this research show that the integration of local culture in the curriculum can increase student motivation and learning outcomes and strengthen cultural identity in the context of formal education. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide guidance for the development of education policies that are more inclusive and oriented towards local wisdom at the basic education level. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi implementasi pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal di sekolah dasar, dengan fokus pada penggunaan bahasa Ibu dan muatan budaya daerah di Kabupaten Buleleng. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen terhadap guru-guru dari berbagai tingkatan pengalaman mengajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru mengakui pentingnya pengembangan bahan ajar yang berhubungan dengan budaya lokal, meskipun masih ditemukan tantangan dalam penggunaan bahasa daerah dan pengembangan media pembelajaran yang relevan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi budaya lokal dalam kurikulum dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa serta memperkuat identitas budaya dalam konteks pendidikan formal. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan panduan bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan yang lebih inklusif dan berorientasi pada kearifan lokal di tingkat pendidikan dasar.
