Abstract

In an increasingly digitally connected world, it is imperative to provide education on network and information technology crime trends. Where networks and information technology are an integral part of everyday life. Nevertheless, a small number of individuals are vulnerable to cybercrime, including data theft, phishing emails, and computer viruses, as a result of a lack of education and understanding of information technology trends. Therefore, it is imperative to have a comprehensive understanding of cybercrime threats, including phishing, scam/malware viruses, and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks on a network. This will increase awareness and security in the use of information technology in the community, especially among students of SMA Negeri 2 Baubau, Southeast Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. The method used to implement abdimas for students of SMA Negeri 2 Baubau. This method consists of four stages: Laying the groundwork, planning, information gathering/analysis, and following up on findings The results of the students' CPD activities showed an increased awareness and understanding of cyber threats and how to protect themselves online. Indicators of success are changes in student behavior in safer internet use, such as changing passwords regularly and being more careful in sharing personal information online. It is hoped that this education on crime trends in the field of information technology and networking can be useful in developing self-awareness, self-protection, and mitigating the impact of cybercrime attacks in the digital realm.

Abstract

Frozen food is a popular preservation method nowadays. The main benefits of frozen food include extending shelf life, reducing waste, and maintaining nutritional value as well as the quality of taste and texture. Meatballs are an example of popular frozen food. A major advantage of frozen meatballs is the convenience of storage, allowing access at any time without worrying about quality deterioration. One business that produces frozen meatballs is Bakso Mamita, a small-scale home industry with limited capacity. They rely on a Pre Order (PO) system due to limited stock and equipment. Some customers are sometimes unwilling to wait for the PO process, causing this business to often lose potential customers. The ability of this business to provide or stock goods needs to be improved to grow. Moreover, if the stock issue can be resolved, this business also needs to enhance sales or marketing so that the stored products sell well. Activities were carried out by providing assistance in the form of a freezer to increase the availability of goods. In addition, digital marketing and content creation training were provided to boost sales from the increased availability of goods. Based on the evaluation results, the availability of goods in this business increased by 1233%, with sales increasing by 111.84%. Digital marketing and digital content training activities increased partners' basic understanding by an average of 76.5%.

Abstract

The Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is a crucial indicator to assess public health, reflecting female deaths due to complications of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum per 100,000 live births. In Indonesia, MMR is still high, reaching 305 per 100,000 live births, mainly due to the lack of early detection of the high risk of pregnancy. Assisted activities for pregnant women in the Working Area of the Tirto I Health Center, Pekalongan Regency, to improve the detection and management of high-risk of pregnancy. This activity was carried out through a community empowerment program involving 32 pregnant women from Samborejo Village and Pandanarum Village, for eight months. The methods used include socialization, mentoring, and continuous education with the Islamic Religion and Health approach. The results of the activity showed an increase in pregnant women's knowledge about pregnancy risks, increased community participation, and early identification of risky medical conditions such as pre-eclampsia, KEK, anemia, and hypertension. Emotional and psychological support is provided through an Islamic values-based approach, which helps reduce stress and improve the mental health of pregnant women. Collaboration between the service team, village midwives, and health cadres strengthens efforts to detect and handle the high risk of pregnancy. This program successfully increased the knowledge of pregnant women by 13% and sufficient knowledge by 3% about the prenatal care. It reduced the risk of pregnancy complications, which ultimately contributed to the reduction of maternal mortality and infant mortality rates in the Tirto I Health Center Working Area.. Evaluation and follow-up show that the main goal is achieved and recommend future improvements. Efforts are needed to increase collaboration between various parties such as health offices, health centers, universities, and community organizations to create a stronger support network for early detection of high-risk pregnancies.

Abstract

Stunting in young children is a significant global health issue, and it remains a serious concern in Indonesia with persistently high prevalence despite various interventions. This study highlights the importance of early detection and prevention of stunting through anthropometric measurements such as height and weight. Data from the 2022 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey (SSGI) reveals that stunting rates in Central Java Province stand at 20.8%, with an increase in prevalence in Pekalongan District from 19.5% in 2021 to 23.5% in 2022. Stunting has serious consequences, including impaired brain development, reduced intelligence, and a higher risk of long-term health issues such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. This research focuses on training health cadres to improve early detection of stunting through the Community Partnership Program (PKM), aiming to enhance cadres' knowledge and skills in stunting detection and prevention. The results show an increase in knowledge among cadres by 11.63 points for stunting detection and prevention, and 21.67 points for nutrition-related topics. Additionally, 80% of cadres successfully performed anthropometric examinations. Collaboration between midwives and health cadres is expected to reduce stunting rates by improving monitoring and more effective interventions.

Abstract

The numerous legal instruments and various agencies involved in the protection of women and children have not led to a reduction in violence against women and children; rather, the incidence has been increasing annually. The primary reasons for the rise in violence against women and children are the lack of education and awareness regarding human rights, gender equality, and gender-based violence, as well as the insufficient support from communities or social networks closest to the victims. This can result in victims feeling isolated and without a place to report or seek help. The method used in this community service program was training on case recording and reporting of violence against women and children. The result of the training was an increase in participants' knowledge regarding the forms of violence against women and children, the roles and duties of the Village Task Force for the Protection of Women and Children (PPA), as well as the procedure for handling cases of violence against women and children. The success of this program was measured using questionnaires administered before and after the training to assess the participants' knowledge and understanding of case recording and reporting of violence against women and children.

Abstract

The highest maternal mortality rate in Pekalongan Regency in 2022 was recorded at Puskesmas Tirto 1, with 6 cases (17.64%) of the total cases in the regency. Out of 897 pregnant women in this area, 418 were classified as high-risk (46.60%), with a significant prevalence of anemia, preeclampsia, and malnutrition. This activity aimed to empower 35 pregnant women in two villages through education and training on pregnancy risk factors. The methods used included socialization, educational material delivery, health examinations, and practical risk assessment using the Poedji Rochjati Scoring Card (KSPR). Pregnant women were provided with guidance on pregnancy danger signs and the importance of routine check-ups, which included measuring body weight, height, mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC), blood pressure, and hemoglobin levels. The results indicate active participation from pregnant women who are highly interested in applying the knowledge they gained. An increase of 32.50 points in the mean knowledge score of pregnant women before and after the counseling sessions, measured through a questionnaire, serves as a parameter indicating the effectiveness of the counseling in enhancing their understanding of pregnancy risk factors. Through a demonstration of the KSPR (Pregnancy Risk Screening Card) use, participants were able to independently identify risks. This empowerment aims to raise awareness among pregnant women and the surrounding community about the importance of early detection and monitoring of high-risk pregnancies, which is expected to reduce maternal mortality rates in the region. The conclusion of this activity is that it successfully empowered pregnant women with the knowledge and skills needed to maintain their health during pregnancy, potentially reducing complications and maternal mortality in the region.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has penetrated all fields, including the world of education. This innovation and digitalization is something that SDM 2 Krian does not yet have. With 350 students currently, payments are made manually. This system results in errors in combining student payment reports. As a result, HR 2 Krian has not been able to present the school's financial reports. 2 Krian's HR financial sources still rely mostly on student revenues in the form of tuition fees and government BOS funds. For this reason, careful and professional financial management is needed to minimize the occurrence of financial errors that can lead to mismanagement, which can affect the quality of education and impact the school's reputation and achievements, both of which have a significant impact on public interest in registering their children. This activity aims to help resolve these problems, through mentoring activities and financial management training. This activity will also produce appropriate technology, namely the E payment application for cheaper and easier student tuition payments. The method of implementing community service uses socialization, training, application of technology, mentoring and evaluation as well as paying attention to the sustainability of this program. After implementing the training program and running the e-payment application, SD Muhammadiyah 2 Krian very openly accepted and responded well to the implementation of this program and continued it to improve financial services which had a positive impact on students and their guardians.

Abstract

Malabar Village, located in Bandung District, Serang Regency, is mostly utilized for settlements, agriculture, and plantations. With agricultural land becoming increasingly scarce, there is an urgent need for alternative farming methods. Hydroponics, a technique of growing plants without soil, offers a cost-effective and practical solution, especially for areas with limited land availability. The method of implementing this training activity begins with socialization activities about hydroponics, then continued with training activities and assistance in making hydroponics. Based on the results of the activities that have been carried out, there is a very good response from the residents. Although the residents are not familiar with the cultivation of plants with hydroponics using plastic bottles. Farming techniques such as hydroponics are new to the people of Malabar Village. This is because the people of Malabar Village are accustomed to farming or gardening conventionally or using soil planting media. Residents who are accustomed to farming traditionally welcome this new way. This project demonstrates that hydroponic farming is not only feasible but also affordable, requires minimal resources and offers potential economic benefits. This community empowerment activity was successfully implemented. After being given an understanding of the utilization of plastic bottle waste as a hydroponic growing medium, it can be seen that the skills and abilities of the community have increased in utilizing used bottles into hydroponic growing media, the equipment needed is easy, the manufacturing is simple, and the costs required are cheap. This activity supports the independence of residents in handling plastic bottle waste to be used as useful and valuable hydroponic planting media.
