Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze in depth the efforts to internalize Akhlakul Karimah (noble character) among the 11th-grade students of the Tarbiah Islamiyah Private Madrasah Aliyah in the Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency. The process of internalizing noble character at Madrasah Aliyah Tarbiyah Islamiyah Hamparan Perak will be detailed, including the methods used and the factors that support and hinder its implementation. This research is qualitative in nature, with the background set at Madrasah Aliyah Tarbiyah Islamiyah. Data will be collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis will be conducted using descriptive analytical methods to derive conclusions from the meaning of the collected data. The research findings indicate that the implementation of character internalization at Madrasah Aliyah Tarbiyah Islamiyah Hamparan Perak has been successful as expected, reflected in the daily behaviors of students, including courteous communication with teachers, peers, and the surrounding community. Supporting factors include the collaboration between the madrasah and the boarding school, as well as cooperation with subject teachers and class guardians. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include a lack of support from families and the environment, as well as peer influence among students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze in depth about the model of fostering Akhlakul in Ar-Rahman Private High School Students in Helvetia District. Research on Ar-Rahman Private High School Students uses an anthropological approach and this is a qualitative research. Data collection is done by conducting interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out with descriptive analytics, namely giving meaning to the data collected, and from that meaning conclusions were drawn. The results showed: that the implementation of moral coaching at Ar-Rahman Private High School Students in Helvetia District has been running well as expected, This can be seen from the daily behavior of students, such as in terms of speaking, both with teachers, friends, and the surrounding community, good manners, then from the way of dressing that looks polite to reflect students, both inside the dormitory and outside the dormitory. Faktor pendukung dalam membina akhlak siswa adalah adanya kerjasama antara pihak madrasah dengan pihak asrama, baik pengasuh maupun pembina, kerjasama dengan semua guru mata pelajaran. While the inhibiting factors in fostering student morals in Ar-Rahman Private High School Students in Helvetia District are lack of support from the family, the environment, students are in the company of their peers who have the same level of ego so that sometimes conflicts often arise.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the ATQA (Academy Tadaabur Qur’an) method in learning Tadabbur Qur'an at the Ar-Rahman Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, Megamendung, Bogor. The research method uses a case study with directur, teadher, Islamic boarding school students as participants. Data was collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers, and Tadabbur Qur'an comprehension tests. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results show that the ATQA method is effective in increasing students' understanding of the Al-Qur'an, including the ability to study, reflect on, and question the verses of the Al-Qur'an. In addition, this method deepens their understanding of moral and spiritual values. In conclusion, the implementation of the ATQA method in learning Tadabbur Qur'an at the Ar-Rahman Qur'an Islamic Boarding School can increase the effectiveness of learning and appreciation of the teachings of the Qur'an. The practical implication is a recommendation to integrate the ATQA method in the Islamic boarding school curriculum as an effort to strengthen understanding and appreciation of the Al-Qur'an among Islamic students

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of dormitory-based coaching and religiosity on Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning outcomes at SMP AQL Islamic School (AQLIS) Jonggol, West Java. The method used is ex-post facto with a sociological and psychological approach. The research population consisted of 123 male students, with a sample of 54 informants selected by purposive and random sampling, including school principals, high achieving students and non-achieving students. Data was collected through questionnaires and documentation, and validated with internal and external validity and Cronbach's Alpha reliability. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and inferentially, including normality, homogeneity, linearity tests, and hypothesis testing using product moment correlation and simple linear regression. The research results show that dormitory-based coaching and religiosity have a significant influence on student PAI learning outcomes at AQLIS Middle School. Structured dormitory development and increasing student religiosity have been proven to contribute positively to student understanding and achievement in PAI subjects. These findings indicate the important role of the dormitory environment and the development of religiosity in improving the quality of Islamic religious education in boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Nurul Bayan method in improving Quran learning outcomes among early childhood students at Sekolah Hafiz Qur'an, Ciputat, South Tangerang. The Nurul Bayan method is a teaching approach specifically designed to facilitate the understanding and memorization of Quranic verses through structured and systematic learning techniques. This research uses an experimental design with a sample of 60 early childhood students divided into two groups: an experimental group using the Nurul Bayan method and a control group using conventional teaching methods. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests to measure improvements in Quran learning outcomes. The results showed a significant improvement in Quran learning outcomes in the group using the Nurul Bayan method compared to the control group. The post-test average scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group, indicating that the Nurul Bayan method is more effective in enhancing the understanding and memorization of Quranic verses. Additionally, student responses to this method were positive, with many reporting that it made learning the Quran more interesting and easier to understand. In conclusion, the Nurul Bayan method has proven effective in improving Quran learning outcomes among early childhood students. The use of this method can be a good alternative for educators in teaching the Quran, helping young students to better understand and memorize Quranic verses. The recommendation from this study is to expand the use of the Nurul Bayan method in various Islamic educational institutions to enhance the quality of Quranic education for early childhood.

Abstract

Islamic schools (madrasas) that have Islamic values support the development of students as God's creations in this world. The application of an Islamic competency-based approach to the school curriculum (madrasah) can be done through subjects taught at school. The learning of Al-Qur'an and Hadith is vital for nurturing informed and ethical members of the Muslim community. By employing effective teaching methods and addressing challenges, educators can enhance the understanding and application of these foundational texts in students' lives subjects based on the independent curriculum in Islamic elementary schools (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah). The research uses qualitative methods using a lot of library material. The results of this research are that the independent curriculum and the sophistication of 21st century technology is a very good collaboration in learning the Al-Qur'an and Hadith for students, through talent, interest in implementing or exploring learning that is more flexible and adapts students to learning. Learning the Al-Qur'an and Hadith based on the independent curriculum has a significant impact on learning because students have more freedom in learning even though they have to remain under teacher supervision.

Abstract

Islamic education in Indonesia is an integral part of the Islamic cultural heritage that contributes to the development of national education. One important aspect of Islamic education is learning Arabic through classical texts, commonly known as kitab kuning. These texts play a significant role in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and universities, serving as key resources for students in studying Islamic teachings. This study aims to explore effective learning media that can assist students or learners facing difficulties in understanding kitab kuning texts, which are typically written in Arabic and presented in a verbal format. In this context, learning is considered effective when there is a joint commitment and effort between educators and learners. The research method employed is document analysis, focusing on the examination and interpretation of written materials within their context. The analyzed materials include published texts, books, articles, newspapers, magazines, and other relevant documents. The findings indicate that learning Arabic through kitab kuning in Islamic religious education has a positive impact, particularly in enhancing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor knowledge. In conclusion, it contributes to behavioral changes among students or learners, as evidenced by improved teaching and learning quality in both pesantren and universities.

Abstract

The optimization of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Indonesian schools faces complex challenges, such as curriculum changes, increasingly plural social dynamics, and the need to adapt to technological advancements. This study aims to explore approaches to enhance the effectiveness of PAI through a literature review method, encompassing the analysis of theories, concepts, and relevant teaching strategies. The findings identify several key approaches, including humanistic and contextual approaches, as well as the utilization of digital technology as solutions to strengthen PAI learning. The main recommendations include adjusting teaching materials to be more contextual, improving teacher capacity through continuous training, and integrating technology to create innovative and interactive learning experiences. These findings are expected not only to enrich the theory of Islamic Education Philosophy but also to provide practical contributions to improving the quality of PAI teaching in Indonesian schools, making it more relevant, inclusive, and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principle of learning evaluation from the perspective of the tarbawi hadith, focusing on two hadiths narrated by Tirmidhi (Number 278) and Bukhori (Number 401). This study uses a descriptive-analytical qualitative method with a hermeneutic approach to explore the educational values contained in these hadiths. Through in-depth analysis, the study found that the evaluation principles contained in the hadith, such as direct observation, formative feedback, repetition for improvement, and individualized approaches, are highly relevant to contemporary learning practices. The study results show that the tarbawi values contained in these hadiths can be implemented in modern education, especially in building a personalized learning approach based on spiritual, moral, and academic values. This study also concludes that the hadith evaluation principle focuses on cognitive aspects and students' affective and psychomotor aspects, which are relevant for shaping holistic character and competence. Thus, this research is expected to contribute to the development of Islamic education theory and increase the effectiveness of learning evaluation in modern education.

Abstract

This article discusses the relevance between the concept of differentiated learning and the concept of soul education from Ibn Sina's perspective. Ibn Sina emphasized the importance of paying attention to the development of the soul, talents, and unique character of each individual in the education process. This study aims to explore how Ibn Sina's soul education theory can provide a strong philosophical foundation for the implementation of differentiated learning. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study research approach. The results of the study indicate that Ibn Sina's concept of soul education is in line with the concept of differentiated learning in the independent curriculum, where each student cannot be treated the same, but must be adjusted to the development of age, soul, physical, intellectual, and moral. According to Ibn Sina, every human being is seen as an individual who has unique and different potential. Therefore, education should ideally pay attention to the needs and development of a person's soul specifically according to the development of the child's age. The implication of this study is for educators to adjust learning methods to the emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs of students, so that they become more personal and effective.
