Jubaedah Journal managed by Faculty of Teacher Training and Education and published by LP2M, Bina Bangsa University, Indonesia. Abstract

This community service activity is one part of the Tri Dharma of higher education which. Must be carried out by a lecturer. This service is carried out as a form of knowledge transfer to the community in the role and responsibility of intelectuals in preserving and chaining cultural treasure. Based on the results of the activities and disscution that there is a significant increase in knowledge and expertise in security troubleshooting on WAN networks. To achieve maximum results, a joint effort is needed between teachers and students, so that stabilization is needed for students with various problem models

Abstract

Community service carried out at LPQ At-Taqwa aims to strengthen institutions, increase the number of students and build synergy between guardians and LPQ At-Taqwa to achieve learning objectives. The implementation method of this community service program is to increase children's learning interest through the provision of free uniforms and interesting learning methods. The recitation of students and guardians is packaged in a recitation that presents special missionaries for children. The results of community service activities that have been held with LPQ At-Taqwa are: 1) Increase the number of students to 60 students. 2) Recitation activities with students and guardians. 3) Planning training activities for LPQ management and teacher in developing Quran teaching methods

Abstract

Comunication ability is one of the soft skills that is supposed to be mastered by youth in this modern era. This ability can be trained by doing lots of social activities at schools or community. Organisation for youth is one of the places that can be used to improve this communication ability. Communicating in English is now becoming important in all aspects, for example, education, business, health, technologies, etc. Therefore, being able to communicate in English is needed. However, many people still think that communicating in English is difficult. One of them is IPPNU Kedungbanteng members. They still found difficulties and felt unconfident to communicate in English. Therefore, storytelling training was done because this interesting method can be used to improve confidence in communication. The participants of the training were given material related to concept of storytelling and how to prepare storytelling. The result shows that the participants gave positive responses toward the training activities and storytelling

Abstract

One crucial aspect that supports the health of the individual body as a whole is oral and dental health, because healthy teeth have an impact on overall body health. Teeth and mouth problems will have an impact on the overall condition of the body, therefore dental health problems require handling and attention from each individual in this case, especially school-age children. However, not a few elementary school children experience many dental errors, especially cavities. So that the purpose of this community service activity is to provide education on dental and oral health maintenance for elementary school students. The selected partners were 40 class III students of MI Ashabul Maimanah. The activity took place by providing counseling in the form of demonstrations and audio visuals. After counseling, students were asked to practice how to brush their teeth and asked to fill out a questionnaire sheet. The result of this activity was that 92.5% of students were classified as good at understanding the importance of brushing their teeth and 85% of students considered brushing their teeth fun. Furthermore, the results of tooth brushing practice are known to 90% of students can brush their teeth properly and correctly

Abstract

The purpose of the community service activity is to enhance the culture of reading literacy through self-motivation as an effort to improve the teaching competence of teachers, to implement technology-based learning methods, and to increase the scientific works of the teachers at SDN Kaduberuk Ciomas Serang. The implementation methods for the community service include situation and condition analysis of the target partners, preparation and transfer of science and technology, training and mentoring, partner participation, evaluation through surveys for teachers, and sustainability evaluation. The results of the community service indicate an increase in the scientific works of the teachers at SDN Kaduberuk, which positively impacts the teaching competence of the teachers by over 80%, improvement in facilities and the culture of literacy at SDN Kaduberuk, as well as an increase in reading literacy and self-motivation among teachers by over 80%. This has a positive impact on the teachers' teaching methods, which in turn positively affects the skills of their students

Abstract

The aim of PKM activities is to develop practical activities of the Teacher Working Group (KKG) in Pabuaran District, which are able to meet the needs of elementary school teachers, so that they are expected to be more dynamic and functional by implementing integrated learning tools Era Society.5.0, through the use of Artificial Intelligence, which is very necessary for elementary school teachers in Pabuaran Serang District. Implementation method: Socialization of the PKM Program in the form of analysis of the situation and conditions of target partners, Application of Technology, Training, Partner Participation, Evaluation and Program Sustainability. Abstract

The socialization of the Three Big Sins in education at SMP IT La Royba, Serang City is an initiative strategy aimed at strengthening the profile of Pancasila Students. This program focuses on preventing three main negative behaviors: bullying, violence, and drug propaganda, which are considered major sins in the world of education. Through this socialization, students are invited to understand the negative impacts of these three behaviors and the importance of avoiding them, with a practical emphasis on applying Pancasila values ​​such as mutual cooperation, integrity and morality in everyday life. The program involves various stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and the community, to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive approach. Socialization activities are carried out through various methods, such as seminars, group discussions and interactive activities, to ensure key messages can be received and well understood by students. The expected results of this program are the creation of a school environment that is safer, more comfortable and conducive to the learning process, as well as the formation of student characters who are more noble, disciplined and responsible. Thus, it is hoped that this socialization can support the development of a young generation of high quality and integrity, in accordance with the national education vision. This program will not only impact students, but also the entire school ecosystem, which will ultimately contribute to the creation of a better and more moral society. This entire initiative is an important step in strengthening the foundation of character education based on Pancasila values ​​in Indonesia

Abstract

Mental health is an essential aspect of the definition of health presented by the World Health Organization. However, it has not received much attention even though the prevalence of mental disorders based on data from the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey shows that 1.4% experience depression, 4% experience symptoms of schizophrenia, and 2% experience mental health problems. Adolescents, including Islamic boarding school students, are one of the vulnerable groups experiencing mental health disorders. For this reason, lecturers and students of the Islamic Counseling Guidance Program carry out community service, which aims to provide students with knowledge about mental health. The method for implementing the activity was a lecture using slide share media and leaflets, which 56 students attended. The material presented is about the importance of mental health for Santri students, which includes definitions, characteristics of healthy mental health, examples of mental health disorders, and efforts to maintain mental health. Evaluation of activities using a five-question questionnaire and the results of the counseling can increase students' literacy regarding mental health. This service activity went well and received a good response from the Islamic boarding school management and students as participants in the outreach activity.

Abstract

Currently, waste management is one of the main challenges faced by various regions in Indonesia. Based on the results of field observations, Cihanjuang Village has experienced an increase in waste volume along with population growth, changes in community consumption patterns, lack of public awareness and not balanced with optimal waste management. This service aims to provide waste management solutions through education and innovation in space-saving waste management by providing the POREST-1 (Portable Rocket Echo Stove Incinerator) tool for the Cihanjuang village community, Sumedang Regency. The approach method used is Participatory Approach. The participants involved were all village staff, PKK mothers, posyandu cadres, hamlet heads, RT heads, RW heads and Karang Taruna of Cihanjuang village, Cimanggung sub-district, Sumedang Regency. The results of the program showed a significant decrease in waste volume and increased community awareness of the importance of sustainable waste management. In addition, the training provided succeeded in increasing the community's capacity to use and maintain the POREST-1 tool independently, which is expected to support the sustainability of this program in the future

Abstract

The Students at SDN Puloampel consider the mathematics lessons to be complicated and boring. This is because the mathematics taught in school is different from the mathematics encountered in daily life. Therefore, the application of mathematics is necessary to help students understand its usefulness. Ethnomathematics is one approach that can be utilized to address this issue. Through the ecoprint approach using the pounding technique, it is hoped that the students at SDN Puloampel will gain an understanding of the benefits of mathematics in daily life, especially in geometric patterns. The goal of this activity is to explore the mathematical understanding of SDN Puloampel students through the ethnomathematics approach by conducting ecoprint activities using the pounding technique. The results of this activity show that most students have not yet mastered symmetrical positioning or the optimal placement of objects within a space. However, the students were deemed capable of measuring the provided canvas area. Additionally, the students were found to have a fairly high level of creativity. The ecoprint activity can serve as an opportunity for ethnomathematics activities to help students solve problems in everyday life
