Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease (NCD) with a high prevalence and remains a major health problem in Kertosari Village, Ponorogo Regency. According to the 2024 Ponkesdes report, hypertension is recorded as the most common case, indicating the need for simple and community-acceptable promotive and preventive efforts. To address this issue, the Gemarsari Program: Gerakan Masyarakat Kertosari Sehat dan Mandiri was implemented, focusing on increasing physical activity and raising community awareness in hypertension prevention. The activities included blood pressure measurement, 30 minutes of healthy exercise, and a follow-up blood pressure check after physical activity. The program was conducted on January 22 and 29, 2025, at the Kertosari Village Hall with 34 participants. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively by comparing the mean blood pressure before and after the exercise. The results showed a reduction in average blood pressure from 139.44 mmHg to 135.15 mmHg. Abstract

Beji Village, Kedungbanteng District, is a center for gourami cultivation in Banyumas Regency. During the cultivation process, fish farmers encounter problems regarding proper gourami cultivation practices, resulting in the death of broodstock. Farmers rely solely on traditional knowledge based on field experience, lacking expert guidance. Every year, gourami experience mass mortality, the most severe of which occurred in 2018, with a mortality rate of 90%. Most broodstock deaths are caused by viruses, water quality, weather, and other factors. This has resulted in economic losses for farmers in the Enggal Jaya group, with annual decreases in gourami egg production. Gourami broodstock mortality can be prevented with proper cultivation management. The training aimed to improve farmers' skills in gourami cultivation. The training methods used were lectures and discussions. Based on the participants' evaluation forms, it can be concluded that 72% of the training participants experienced increased knowledge about gourami cultivation.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role as a key pillar in strengthening the national economy, including in Sorong City, Southwest Papua Province. However, most MSME actors in this region still face limitations in utilizing digital technology as a marketing tool. In fact, advances in information technology and the high rate of internet penetration in Indonesia offer great opportunities for MSMEs to expand their market networks and enhance business competitiveness. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge, skills, and awareness of MSME actors regarding the importance of digital-based marketing through a digital marketing socialization program. The implementation methods include material presentation, interactive discussions, and practical simulations using digital platforms. The results show a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of basic digital marketing concepts, their ability to create business accounts, independently upload products, and design simple promotional content using digital applications. In addition, participants demonstrated high enthusiasm throughout the activity and took the initiative to form a digital marketing learning community as a follow-up for continuous mentoring.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the Islamic economic literacy of the people in Ciawigajah Village, Beber District, Cirebon Regency, through socialization and training on the application of Salam contracts in online transactions. The program was motivated by the community’s limited understanding of Islamic business principles (muamalah), particularly in digital-based trade practices. The implementation method used a participatory approach through interactive socialization, group discussions, and simulations of Salam contract applications within online business contexts. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants’ understanding of the concepts and practical implementation of Salam contracts, with several local MSME actors beginning to apply the pre-order system based on Islamic principles. The impact of this activity was not only observed in terms of increased knowledge but also in behavioral changes toward more transparent, fair, and Sharia-compliant economic transactions. For program sustainability, continuous mentoring for MSME actors is recommended, along with the development of technology-based digital learning materials and collaboration among universities, village governments, and Islamic financial institutions to strengthen the local digital Sharia economic ecosystem. This activity is expected to serve as a model for Sharia economic empowerment based on literacy and digitalization that can be replicated in other regions, fostering the values of justice, honesty, and blessing within rural communities.
