Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has driven significant changes in the education system, including in Indonesia, with the introduction of the Independent Curriculum. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including the education sector. This era is marked by the integration of digital, physical, and biological technologies that change the way humans live, work, and learn. Education, as the foundation for human resource development, must adapt to these changes to prepare the younger generation to face future challenges and opportunities. The method used is a literature study analysis of various previous studies and case studies. The results of the study show that the Independent Curriculum has the potential to improve 21st century skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and digital literacy. However, significant challenges in its implementation include lack of teacher understanding, limited infrastructure, and differences in readiness between regions. The Independent Curriculum shows potential in improving student competencies, especially in terms of critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, and digital literacy. The implementation of the Independent Curriculum at various levels of education faces a number of challenges. This study reveals that the Independent Curriculum has the potential to bring positive changes to the Indonesian education system by improving student competencies in accordance with the demands of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Technology support, teacher training, and community involvement have proven to be important for successful implementation. Recommendations include the development of contextual learning modules, increased technology support, and holistic assessment. These findings provide insights for the development of better education policies in the digital era.

Abstract

Innovations in information and communication technology have brought about a transformation in the world of education, especially in typing skills that are essential for academic and professional efficiency and productivity. However, traditional typing instruction is often considered monotonous and uninteresting, which reduces students' learning motivation. This study proposes the development of an educational game called ICOTYPE to train typing skills quickly and accurately through interactive and interesting methods. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of ICOTYPE in improving typing speed and accuracy and motivating students in the learning process. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The study participants consisted of 30 junior high and high school students aged 14-18 years. Data were collected through questionnaires that assessed user experience, psychological aspects, and typing performance, data analysis applied using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling method. The results showed that ICOTYPE was effective in improving students' typing skills and learning motivation. This game provides an interactive learning environment, reduces boredom, and increases student engagement. These findings support the use of educational games as an effective alternative method in teaching typing and provide educational game developers with insights into effective components in designing learning products. This study also indicates the potential for integrating game-based approaches into educational curricula to teach practical skills such as typing, which are essential in today's digital age.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning at all levels of education is to provide teaching or guidance for students to be able to apply Indonesian in various aspects. One of the basic competencies taught in Senior High Schools, especially for grade XI students and related to reading skills, is reading news texts briefly, concisely, and clearly. Learning to read news texts is in line with the objectives of learning Indonesian Language and Literature, namely to improve students' ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to obtain various accurate information. This study aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes in reading news texts in grade XI MIPA 5 students of SMA Negeri 3 Bone, totaling 37 students through the application of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) method. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) or classroom action research. Data collection techniques used through observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The data obtained are then analyzed, the data used in this study is qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Process data is analyzed qualitatively and student test result data is analyzed quantitatively. The results of the study indicate that through the application of the STAD method, it can improve the efficient learning process in learning to improve news text reading skills in grade XI MIPA 5 students of SMA Negeri 3 Bone.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the process of developing narrative text integrated on kurikulum merdeka and to determine whether the product has an impact on English achievement for the tenth grades students at MAN Labuhanbatu. This research are Research and Development (R&D) by using ADDIE model. To gather information, two different kinds of questionnaires were employed and post-test. The first questionnaire was created to collect information for the needs analysis, the second to evaluate materials using professional judgment, and the last to evaluate the efficacy of the product. The created materials were deemed suitable based on the outcomes of the expert judgment. The developed narrative text materials were categorized as "Very Good" with a mean score of 3.95 across all aspects. The developed narrative text material has an impact on English achievement, 88.88% were obtained based on post-test and categorize as “Good”. Based on the results, it shows that the developed narrative text material is categorized as very good and has an impact on students' English learning achievement.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of educational management in the development of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in three senior high schools in Ternate: SMA Negeri 1 Ternate, SMA Alkhairaat Ternate, and SMA Islam Ternate. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design to understand the integration of educational management in the development of PAI curriculum in three senior high schools in Ternate, North Maluku. The subjects of the study included the principal, vice principal, PAI teachers, students, and school committees. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), participant observation, and document analysis. Data analysis was carried out using a thematic analysis approach, including data familiarization, coding, theme search, theme review, theme definition, and report writing. Data triangulation and member checking were used to increase the credibility of the study. This study revealed that the integration of educational management in the PAI curriculum in Ternate is influenced by the local context with different approaches in each school. Key findings include curriculum contextualization, school-based management, the role of stakeholders, and implementation challenges. Limitations include limited scope and short time; further research is needed. The integration of PAI education management in Ternate varies between schools, reflecting the local context. Challenges include integrating Islamic values, balancing the curriculum, and developing contextual methods.

Abstract

The increasing number of tourists and awareness of environmentally friendly hotels has encouraged the birth of research that analyzes the preferences of female tourists towards the decision to buy and stay at environmentally friendly and sustainable hotels in Karangasem Regency. This study uses a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach to 100 female tourist respondents who stayed at environmentally friendly and sustainable hotels in Karangasem Regency. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques using SPSS tools to test the validity and reliability of the data. The results of the Factor Analysis using the Kaiser Meyer-Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy to test the significance of the attributes of each factor. Based on the correlation coefficient values ??of the attributes and attribute levels of environmentally friendly and sustainable hotels in Karangasem Bali, it is known that female tourists tend to pay more attention to the group of attractive advertising attributes, the number of followers, and promotions by famous artists with the highest correlation coefficient of 0.786 when choosing a hotel. The second important attribute group is friendly service and speed and accuracy of service with a correlation coefficient of 0.684. The third important attribute group includes the completeness of hotel facilities and the presence of local communities with a correlation coefficient of 0.283. However, ease of hotel access, display of advertisements in mass media, and local cultural activities are considered less important with a correlation coefficient of -0.727. Female travelers' preferences in choosing a hotel are also influenced by recommendations from others such as friends, colleagues, and family. Abstract

This study examines the types, dominance, and income of nutmeg farmers in Ternate, West Halmahera, and Bacan Island, to improve the effectiveness of learning and farmer welfare through more profitable nutmeg nurseries. This study used qualitative descriptive methods and surveys in five locations, with nutmeg nurseries as subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed by tabulation. Based on the study, the most nutmeg varieties in the nursery locations were Ternate 1, found in five locations: Maliaro, Tobololo, Sulamadaha, Loto, and Togafo. Ternate 1 nutmeg is superior because its seeds and maces are of high quality, with characteristics of regular branching, oval leaves, and round fruit. In addition, Makian Lokal and Tobelo 1 varieties are also present, although limited. Pala Gaji, which is only found in Tobololo, has white mace, different from other varieties which are red when ripe. The Ternate 1 variety is the most dominant because many of its parent trees are spread across Ternate. In five sub-districts in Ternate City, there are four nutmeg varieties: Ternate 1, Tobelo 1, Makian Lokal, and Pala Gaji. The Ternate 1 variety is the most dominant. Of the 24 nursery farmers, their income can increase two-fold or more depending on the number of seedlings produced.

Abstract

Technological developments require the younger generation to be creative and competitive; Loose Parts give children the freedom to be creative and explore; and PAUD institutions in Nusawungu District, Cilacap have switched from paper worksheets to utilizing loose parts. The study aims to analyze (1) Inhibiting factors and solutions for utilizing loose parts to improve higher order thinking (2) assessment techniques for children's work using loose parts to improve higher order thinking skills in Islamic Kindergarten (Bustanul Athfal) Sikanco Village, Nusawungu District, Cilacap Regency. This study is a field research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The data validity techniques used by researchers are source triangulation and method triangulation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The conclusion of this study is the inhibiting factors and solutions for utilizing loose parts to improve higher order thinking skills in Islamic Kindergarten (Bustanul Athfal) Sikanco Village, Nusawungu District, Cilacap Regency. Nusawungu, Cilacap Regency is 1) Limited loose parts materials, the solution is the school will optimize the use of lost parts (add to the collection of loose parts materials). 2) Characteristics of children's abilities that have different HOTS achievements, the handling will adjust to the child's development achievements. 3) Limited time, the school will increase the duration of loose part activities. 4) Limited teacher knowledge, the school will hold human resource strengthening. 2) The assessment technique for children's work made of loose parts to improve higher order thinking skills in Islamic Kindergarten (Bustanul Athfal) Sikanco Village, Nusawungu District, Cilacap Regency is the Checklist technique, Assessment of Work Results and anecdotal notes.

Abstract

Mathematics in formal learning is one of the most important subjects taught to measure students' thinking skills in arithmetic. Students' difficulties in completing arithmetic operations can be caused by the imperfection of the mathematics learning process in class. This study aims to describe the difficulties in learning the arithmetic operation of division in grade IV students of SDN Cideng 09. The method used in qualitative research tends to obtain written or verbal descriptions of the attitudes of the community or real research objects, while in quantitative research, inductive data analysis is used, and researchers and informants are brought closer during data collection. This presentation will refer to the findings of a field study regarding learning challenges in grade IV students of SDN Cideng 09 and discuss the results of the instrument consisting of essay questions and several interviews. At SDN Cideng 09, one of the educators expressed his concern that grade IV students had difficulty understanding the concept of division. It seems that many students in this class have difficulty in mathematics, especially in division. The findings of this study reveal that a number of grade IV students of SDN Cideng 09 have difficulty understanding the basic concept of division. Finding solutions to division problems with multiplication will not be a problem for students if they truly understand division as repeated subtraction.

Abstract

The results of this research were motivated by the low learning motivation of class IV students at SDN 05 Tanjung Duren Selatan which resulted in 47% of students getting scores below the KKM with an average of 69 on the mathematics exam. This research used a quantitative approach with a survey method and the population used was 30 students, including 15 class IVA students and 15 class IVB students. The data collection technique in this research used a questionnaire and the application of trimino media with a cooperative learning model. Based on the calculations above, it is found in the table that it is 2,084 and tcount is 4,477 > 2,084 table with a significance of 0.00 < 0.05 which shows that it rejects ???????? and accepts ????????, which means there is an influence on the learning motivation of class IV students when studying by implementing the Cooperative learning model with the help of Trimino Media. The researcher was able to draw the following conclusions from the data analysis: the cooperative learning model with Trimino media has a positive and significant influence on students' mathematics learning motivation, based on partial test results.
