Abstract

The contextual learning model aims to facilitate students' ability to understand and integrate their learning into real life situations in their personal, social and cultural contexts. So they can develop knowledge, creativity and thinking to create their own understanding. The implementation of the learning center-based contextual learning model at RA Nurjannah has gone well. The success of implementing a learning center-based contextual learning model at RA Nurjannah cannot be separated from the factors that influence it, both supporting and inhibiting factors. Therefore, the aim of writing this article is to (1) Identify how to implement the learning center-based contextual learning model at RA Nurjannah and (2) Analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the learning center-based contextual learning model at RA Nurjannah. The type of research method used is qualitative research, with descriptive analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman, include interviews, observation and documentation. Abstract

Performance profiling represents a set of strategies for the application of knowledge, skills, and work habits through the performance of meaningful and interesting tasks for students. This study aims to profile the performance of students in a high school physics practicum on temperature and heat. This performance profile provides teachers with information on the extent of students' performance abilities in conducting a physics practicum by developing performance assessment instruments that have been tested for validity, reliability, and practicality. The research was conducted in high school with the research subjects of teachers and students of the XI Physics Specialization. The results of the instrument validity test are 0.75, with a valid category. The average result of reliability with the Alpha Cronbach method in the initial test obtained a value of 0.761, and in the second test, it amounted to 0.75. The instrument is declared practical according to the assessment of the physics teacher's response to the instrument trial, which shows a value of 93%, which is in the very good category. So it can be concluded through several stages of testing that the performance assessment instrument can be used properly by students and teachers.

Abstract

Low student learning outcomes encourage the need to create learning that can overcome these problems. One way is to use the CLIS learning model. The CLIS model aims to encourage students to develop ideas or ideas of a particular learning problem and to reconstruct those ideas or ideas based on the results of observations and experiments. The type of experiment used in this study is Quasi Experimental Design. Learning outcomes were collected using multiple choice test instruments, then pilot tests were carried out. as well as statistical hypothesis data analysis. The results of this study, using the Children Learning In Science learning model are higher than using conventional learning models. There is an influence of the Children Learning In Sciencelearning model on student learning outcomes in the Ecosystem material in grade X of SMA Kartika 1-4 Pematang Siantar for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine whether there is the impact of using video subtitles to improve students' listening skills especially for EFL students. This experimental research was carried out in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Perbaungan for the 2022/2023 academic year. By using random sampling procedure, 60 students were chosen as the sample in this research. This study used quantitative methods and the data were taken from class XI Ipa 2 as an experimental class sample with 30 participants and class XI Ipa 1 as a control class sample with 30 participants. The test consists of multiple choice and essay. Students' pre-test and post-test scores were used to generate the data. Based on the Shapiro-Wilk tests, and SPSS 20, the two-tailed significance level for the paired sample t-test is 0.000 <0.5, it means that there is an effect of using video subtitles on students' listening comprehension. The magnitude of this effect can be seen from the average value of the Experimental Class Post-Test which increased from 73.80 to 88.56. So the results of using Video Subtitles as an interesting EFL learning media have an effect on improving students' listening skills.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of exogenous variables on endogenous variables, namely investment, government spending and employment opportunities. This type of research is quantitative analysis using secondary data with a time series from 1993 to 2022 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Sumatra and Bank Indonesia (BI). The data analysis technique in this research uses a multiple regression analysis model. The results of this research show that exogenous variables have a significant effect on endogenous variables in the equation model. The investment and government expenditure variables have a significant effect on the employment opportunity variable. For this reason, it is necessary to increase investment (PMA and PMDN) and government spending so that there is a coherent increase in economic growth. With the simultaneous increase in these two variables, it is hoped that job opportunities will expand
