Abstract

This research evaluates the efficiency of the Newton polynomial interpolation method in predicting stock price trends from historical data. The study was conducted using Microsoft stock price data according to Nasdaq for the period 4 November to 29 November 2024. This method creates an example of a polynomial based on divided disparities to describe patterns stock price convoy. The calculation results show that Newton interpolation is able to form stock price predictions with good accuracy, for example the stock price prediction in the 20 off index is $417.05, which is close to the historical data trend. The graph obtained also illustrates the mathematical interaction between the free index and stock prices visually. However, the accuracy of predictions is largely determined by the amount and quality of data used. Therefore, Newton's interpolation can be used as a a simple and efficient analytical tool, especially when applied in conjunction with other methods to deal with the complexity of the stock market.

Abstract

The research entitled “Application of the Lagrange Interpolation Method in Predicting the Number of HVS Orders in Printing” aims to develop an accurate forecasting model for the number of HVS orders in the printing industry. In this study, the Lagrange interpolation method was chosen because it can provide estimates by considering limited historical data. The analyzed data ranges from January 2021 to November 2022 and is processed to build a forecasting model. The results showed that the interpolation model built was able to capture well the fluctuation pattern of the order quantity. Model evaluation is carried out using Mean Absolute Percentage Error, which reads <=10%, indicating high prediction accuracy. In addition, sensitivity analysis to data variations showed consistent results of the prediction, thus strengthening the validity of the method. These findings suggest that Lagrange interpolation is an effective tool in forecasting HVS demand, providing advantages in inventory management and production planning in printing houses.

Abstract

The Islamization of science is an effort undertaken by Muslim scholars to integrate Islamic values into modern scientific knowledge. This initiative emerged as a response to the dominance of the secular paradigm in science, which often separates rationality from spirituality. This study aims to analyze the views of contemporary Muslim thinkers such as Ismail Raji al-Faruqi and Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas regarding the concept of the Islamization of science, as well as explore the challenges and opportunities in its application. The research was conducted using a literature review method, examining relevant scholarly articles, books, and conference papers. The findings show that the Islamization of science offers a more holistic paradigm, where scientific knowledge is not only focused on empirical aspects but also considers ethical and moral dimensions. Despite facing several challenges, particularly in educational systems, the Islamization of science has significant potential to shape ethical and sustainable scientific knowledge. Thus, this concept is relevant in the context of the development of modern scientific knowledge in the Muslim world.

Abstract

Numerical methods are essential for calculating values ??that cannot be evaluated directly. Methods such as Trapezoidal and Simpson are often used to calculate integrals numerically, but the results may not always be satisfactory in terms of accuracy. This is where the Richardson extrapolation method plays an important role. This method can improve the accuracy of numerical solutions by combining the results of calculations with different levels of accuracy, thereby reducing errors. First, we use the Taylor series to approximate the exponential function around a certain point. Next, we apply the Trapezoidal method to calculate the integral value numerically. After getting the results from the Trapezoidal method, we apply the Richardson extrapolation method to improve the accuracy of the results. This method combines the results of two calculations with different levels of accuracy to reduce errors. To verify the results and improve the efficiency of the calculation, we also performed simulations using MATLAB. And the results issued in matlab are more precise results because they are very close to the exact value, with an absolute error value of 0.0000000472. and also, with a relative error value of 0.000006316. where both of these errors are very small and very close to 0. The calculation results with manual numerical approximation, the error obtained is 0.000235, while when using Richardson extrapolation, the error obtained is 0.000006316. So, it is true that if using the Richardson extrapolation method, it can reduce the error so that it will increase the accuracy of the integral solution.

Abstract

Pancasila as a guide to life for the Indonesian people contains values that are relevant to be implemented in the mediation process in court in order to reach an agreement to resolve disputes in a win-win solution. Data from the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia for 2022 shows a decreasing trend in resolving cases through mediation, only 19.07% were successfully resolved, while 59.14% were unsuccessful and 20.21% could not be implemented. The success of mediation, which shows a downward trend, is associated with the Pancasila values implemented in mediation. It is interesting to examine how mediation can implement Pancasila values and what challenges are faced in implementing Pancasila values in mediation in court. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach, collecting and analyzing data from various written sources, such as books, journal articles, reports and official documents that are relevant to the research topic. The research results show that Pancasila values can be implemented in mediation in court which becomes a reference for disputing parties, mediators, legal representatives and judges, so that the mediation process is based on high ethics and morals, fair treatment, constructive dialogue to find common ground, as well as active participation of the parties so that the resulting solution reflects mutual agreement and benefit. Obstacles include social and cultural factors in society which give rise to various points of view about mediation, skepticism regarding failed mediation experiences, weak knowledge and understanding of Pancasila values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of deixis in the lyrics of the song “Lovely” by Billie Eilish and Khalid using a pragmatic approach. Deixis, as a linguistic element whose meaning depends on context, includes five main types: person, place, time, discourse, and social deixis. The analysis shows that the song uses deixis effectively to convey a deep emotional narrative. Person deixis, through the use of I and you, stands out in creating a personal relationship between the speaker and the listener. Place and time deixis describe the space and duration of the emotional struggle, while discourse deixis provides narrative continuity. Meanwhile, social deixis, although implicit, reflects the universal relationship between the singer and the audience. The results of this study are relevant to previous pragmatic studies, supporting the idea that songs as aesthetic texts can be a powerful medium of communication. In particular, this study highlights that the use of deixis in lyrics not only functions to build context, but also to create a complex and relatable emotional experience for the listener. These findings provide important contributions to linguistic studies, education, and the analysis of musical artworks, while also opening up opportunities for pragmatic studies of other musical texts.

The existence of PAUD or pre-school education is increasingly needed in society. This is especially true because of the current rapid population growth, which causes demands to provide the best educational institutions for children. PAUD is an education given to children aged 0 to 6 years in helping their growth and development to enter the next level of elementary school education. In this case, teachers have a very important role for children because they function as examples or role models for children. In the learning process, teachers are the ones who can organize effective learning and adjust it to the stages of child development. The learning process will be interesting if learning resources and media are used correctly according to the learning design. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of PAUD teachers in the use of APE and identify the impact of using APE on child development in PAUD, as well as to determine the difficulties faced by PAUD teachers when using APE as a learning aid. This study uses a qualitative approach, and looks at how PAUD teachers use APE in early childhood education institutions (especially in PAUD Ar-Rahmat). The data collection techniques used by researchers were by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that PAUD teachers play a very important role in selecting, designing, and integrating APE into the learning process, which has a positive impact on child development.
