Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the interest of researcher to examine the management of production in the Kijang Berantai gallery. The purpose of this research was to describe the production management of Kijang Berantai gallery. The method used in this research was descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The approach used in this research was the sociology approach. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interview and documentation techniques while the data collection tools used in this research were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, camera and notebook. Testing the validity of the data of this research used source triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques in this research were data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicated that one of the Kijang Berantai gallery programs was to hold dance and music performances performed by implementing art production management so the art performances run smoothly and effectively. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to study the use of Discovery Learning Model to overcome students’ misconception in Archimedes’ Principle subject in SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak academic year 2019/2020. The method used in this research was Pre-Experimental Design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. Logical reasoning mutiple choice questions were used as for data collection tool. Along with it, this research involved 25 students in Class IX C as the samples. They were chosen with “intact group” technique, a sampling method which intactly gains sample data according to population. Students’ profile of misconception after being given remedy happened to decrease into 3 concepts. Out of 25 students that took the remedy, the percentage of students’ with misconception in all indicators decreased by 67%. The result of calculation with McNemar Test shows 25,29 of X2 counted in all indicators then X2counted > X2 table so there is a significant conceptual changes in all the indicators. Therefore, hopefully teachers could use this research as an alternative to overcome students’ misconception in Archimedes’ Principle material.  Keywords : Discovery Learning,  Misconception,  Remediation

Abstract

 AbstractThe background of this research was the writer’s interest to explore the heroic values in Roman Larasati by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Theories used in this research were the definition of romance, intrinsic and extrinsic elements in romance, heroic values, and literature learning. Method used in this research is descriptive in qualitative form. Results analysis found were the elements of self-sacrfice, beliefs of Pancasila and UUD 1945, national conscience as heroic value, and the implementation in learning. The implementation of this research was particularly in the literature learning in high school grade XII semester 2 at basic competence 3.9 and 4.9. Hopefully the results of this research were beneficial as reference for teachers in teaching literature at school. From this research, messages and heroic values could be taken.Keywords: Heroic Values, Romance, Implementation

Abstract

AbstractThe facts show that students' understanding of the concept of absolute value is still in low classified. The lack of understanding of student concepts is influenced by several factors, one of which is lack of student confidence in working on problems. self confidence is one part of student learning independence. Therefore this study aims to describe the understanding of the concept of the absolute value equation in terms of student learning independence. The research method used is descriptive qualitative in the form of case studies. Subjects were thirty-eight students in SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak. The results of this study indicate that students' understanding of concepts is balanced with learning independence. students who have a high level of learning independence overall the results of the concept understanding test are also high. students who have a level of independence of learning while overall the results of the test understanding of the concept are also being. students who have low levels of learning independence overall the results of the concept understanding test are also low. The conclusion from study's result showed that level the high student's independence learning, the level student's concept understanding was high also.Keywords: Absolute Value Equations, Concept Understanding, Learning                  Independence

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to explain the mathematical literacy of junior high school students in Academic Year 2015/2016, in solving problems related to algebraic expressions in terms of iconic and symbolic representation. This research used descriptive method which applied Case Study form. The subjects of this research were 41 students of SMP Kristen Immanuel Pontianak. The results of data analysis showed that the formulate process of mathematical situations when changing the form of iconic representation, students looked better in making schemes from real situations to pictorial forms (tables). Considering from the formulate process of mathematical situations when changing the form of symbolic representation, students had difficulty in conducting manipulation by using symbols from real situations into symbolic forms. Considering from the process of using iconic representation in accomplishing mathematical literacy questions, the majority of students were able to accomplish mathematical literacy questions which were given by using table representation. Considering from the process of using symbolic representation in accomplishing mathematical literacy problems, upper level students tend to be able to accomplish the questions well. Conversely, middle level students experienced problems in calculation process.  Keywords: Agebraic Expressions, Mathematical Literacy, Representations.

Abstract

AbstractImproving the results of the front roll learning with variations of play with research problems including the fifth grade students still weak in front roll floor gymnastics learning with improvement through play variation. This study uses a CAR approach (Classroom Action Research), a research conducted by bermasud to find information about the implementation of a variety of learning delivered with classroom action research. With 31 research subjects, cycle to cycle was obtained, from the table above through cycle 1 that was carried out during the roll front gymnastics learning exercise, there were 16 students who had graduated with a percentage of 52% and had not passed as many participants 15 students with a percentage of 48% followed by the next cycle 2 that have been done when learning roll front gymnastics floor there are students who have graduated as many as 29 students with a percentage of 94% and have not graduated as much as 2 students with a percentage of 4% which is still below the value kkm is 70. From the table above shows an increase between cycles from cycle 1 to cycle 2 from completeness 54% to 94% thus an increase of 40% from kkm 70. Keywords: Increased Front Roll, Play Variations

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the moral development of children not well developed, as children do not understand noble behavior (lack of empathy and justice to friends). The general objective of this study was to describe moral development activities in children aged 5-6 years in TK Kemala Bhayangkari 13 Pontianak City. The assessment aspect of the moral development observed was empathy and justice. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The form of research used in this study is a form of qualitative research.  Based on the formulation of the problem and the results of the research discussed earlier, it can be concluded specifically about a number of things concerning the moral character (justice and empathy) of the child, as follows: Steps taken by the teacher in shaping moral character in TK Kemala Bhayangkari Pontianak City 13, this is characterized by various things, planning activities which include the development of curriculum material / content, Annual Learning Plans, Monthly Learning Plans, Weekly Learning Plans and Daily Learning Plans.  As well as evaluation activities that include observation, recording anecdotes, conversations, assignments (projects), appearance (performance) and work (product). Keywords: children’s moral development, aged 5-6 years old, TK Kemala Bhayangkari 13 Pontianak City

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research is, 1) The jump is not curved but rather flat, 2) the jump is too high, 3) too far or too close does not match the strength of the jump, hands are not broken strong, too fast or vice versa too late to bow your head can cause your back or face to fall to the floor, 4) foot repulsion not straight.The purpose of this study was to determine the importance of using various learning media for rubber tires on the results of Tiger Sprong Gymnastics Floor Skills for Students PJKR REG A ILMU KEOLAHRAGAAN FKIP UNTAN. The method used in this study is an experimental method with an experimental design form that is Pre-experimental design. The population in this study were students PJKR 2019 which numbered 61 people. In this study the sample used was 42 students using purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using t-tes,. the results of data analysis in this study after being treated using rubber tire media in Tiger Sprong Gymnastics Floor Skills for Students PJKR REG A 2019, the results of data analysis obtained by ttest is 13.125> ttable 1.684, with degrees of freedom db = (D-1) is 42-1 = 41 at the 5% significance level with an increase of 33.12%. Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted in order to improve students’ reading comprehension in narrative text using Story Mapping Technique to the eleventh-grade students. The form of this research is classroom action research. The subjects were 28 students of grade XI IIS 2 students of SMA Taman Mulia Kubu Raya in Academic Year 2019/2020. The data were collected using tests, observation checklists, and field notes. From the observation checklist and field notes, it was found that all of the students participated to the activity and did their task well. Teaching reading comprehension on narrative text by using story map technique positively helps the students organize their ideas into a map which help them to integrate the concepts and idea from the story. The students gave positive response to the explanation of narrative text and could use the story mapping technique properly and the students’ mean score improved from 64.29 in cycle one (36% students passed the minimum score) to 76.08 in cycle two (72% students passed the minimum score). In conclusion, it can be inferred that story mapping technique improved students’ reading comprehension skill in narrative text. Keywords: Narrative text, Reading, Story Mapping Technique.

Abstract

Abstract This study provides an effort to create an effective and efficient teaching and learning process using the PAIKEM model (Active, Interactive, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning) in learning poetry writing skills in class X MIA Sompak 1 High School. The problem in this research is how the process and results of learning to write poetry use the PAIKEM approach. Based on data analysis, this study produces a conclusion in the first cycle the results of the ability of students to write poetry using the PAIKEM model in class X MIA obtained an average score of 59,400% while in the second cycle the ability of students to write poetry using the PIKEM model in class X MIA obtained an average score of 69,750% , the increase that occurred from the learning process of writing poetry using the PAIKEM II cycle model was 76.66%. The results of this study are expected to be useful for students, teachers, students, and especially implementation in schools by increasing the integrity of Indonesian Language teacher workforce in Sompak 1 Public High School in delivering material to achieve the 2013 Curriculum learning objectives. Keywords: improvement, writing poetry, PAIKEM model
