Abstract

Abstract.Sentebang village is one area in Sambas Regency, of which the Sambas Dialect of Malay language (BMDS) emerged and developed. Used in daily language, BMDS functions as the means of communication between the community and as the identity of Sentebang village. This paper discusses the foot movement verbs in BMDS including the lexemes, components, lexical meanings, and semantic functions of leg movements. This study aims to describe the foot verbs in BMDS based on the problems. The output of this study is as the material for comparison to other languages and as language preservation and insights for readers. The findings discovered 34 lexemes of foot verbs, in the form of leg movements, 8 lexemes using soles of the feet, 2 lexemes using the heel, 2 lexemes using instruments, 2 lexemes of leg movements using the help of hands, 2 lexemes using off footing, 2 lexemes of leg movements using airing and landing feet, 2 lexemes using fingertips, 2 lexemes by sitting cross-legged, 3 lexemes by knee-folding, 3 lexemes by legs-folding, 4 lexemes by rests on one leg, 1 lexeme by using a bicycle, and 1 lexemes by using paddy instrument.  Keywords: Foot verbs, Sambas Dialect Malay Language

Abstract

AbstractThis study was to analyze the effect of the use of Mind Mapping on Thematic Learning Outcomes of Grade V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah 3 Pontianak students and analyze how high the effect of Mind Mapping on Thematic Learning Outcomes of Grade V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Pontianak students. The research method used is an experimental method in quasi-experimental design forms, with nonequivalent control group experimental design. The sample selection uses a purposive sampling technique. Based on statistical calculations the average results of the final test of the experimental class 70.67 and the average final test results of the control class 65.24 obtained of 2.922 and  (α = 5% and dk 41 + 39 - 2 = 78) equal to 1,677, because t_ (count) (2,922)>  (1,677), then Ha is accepted. From the calculation of the effect size (ES), ES 0.46 (medium criteria) was obtained. This means that the use of Mind Mapping has a moderate effect on the thematic learning outcomes of Grade V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Pontianak students. Keywords: Effect, Learning Outcomes, Mind Mapping, Thematic Learning.

Abstract

AbstractThe research focused to analyze Bali’s local colour in the novel Di Bawah Langit yang Sama by Helga Rif. Researcher focused on the local colour because it was dominate in the novel. This research aimed to describe about life habits, attitudes and the implementation plan of research results to literary learning. Researcher use qualitative research method and describtive research form with literary sociology study. Data source of this research is novel Di Bawah Langit yang Sama. Data of this research were the occurrences of quotation in the text. Technique in data collection is documentary study. Data collection tools is researcher as main instrument and assisted with registrar tools. The result of this research were life habits in Ngaben ceremony divided to the  type of  Ngaben, stages, tools and the restrictions. Life habits in marriage ceremony divided on the system of  marriage, stages, marriage procession ceremony, and tools. The third life habits were in Maturan. The result about attitudes were tolerance for foreign cultures, surrender to God, assertive, courageous, obedient, responsibilities, respect and mutual help, keep others feeling, friendly, wise, politeness, patience and sincere. The researcher was planning about literary implementation learning use narrative text based on Basic Competencies and syllabus.   Keywords: Attitudes, Life Habits, Local Colour,  Novel.

Abstract

AbstractThis willingness to research to dig back Arts Otar-Otar, and to explore the process of historical development of the Otar-Otar became performance art, due to lack of documentation against Otar-Otar. The purpose of this research is to 1. Describe the history of performance art silat Otar-Otar 1992-2015 in Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. 2. Describe the development of a form of martial arts performing arts specialties Otar-Otar in Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. 3. Describe the draft implementation from performing arts Otar-Otar of Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. The theory used in this research analysis is a theory about the dance, dance history, cultural anthropology, traditional dance, pencak silat, performing arts. This research using the method of analysis of history. This form of research is qualitative. The research approach using the approach of etnokoreologi. The data source in this research in the form of the results of the interview against the speaker related to and find out about the development historical of the performing arts Otar-Otar In Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview and documentation. Abstract

describe the role of teacher’s in developing interpersonal intelligence of aged 5-6 years at the Mujahidin 1 Kindergarten South Pontianak. The method use isn this research is descriptive method with a quantitative research approach. Data subjects in this research are 12 teacher’s grup B who have a role in the development of children’s interpersonal intelligence, especially in ascapts of motivator, mediator, facilitator, and evaluator. The techniques used in this research were used of questionnaires and documentation using data collection tools like is a questinneaire, and documentation picture. The results of data analysis show that the role of teacher’s in developing interpersonal intelligence of aged 5-6 years in in classified as moderate, it can be see from the results of presentations that show that more than 50% of teacher’s have a good roles properly, especially in ascapts of motivator, mediator, facilitator, and evaluator.Keyword   : Interpersonal, Motivator, The Role of Teacher’s

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the role of single sentences in literature to build a short story. This study aimsed to present single sentence forms using tagmemics contained in the short stories of Senyum Karyamin. This research method was a descriptive method with qualitative research.The technique was used documentary technique. The data source in this study was a collection of short stories by Karyamin’s Smile by Ahmad Tohari. The data in this study were transitive active single sentences, active intransitive single sentences, and passive sentences. The technique of analyzing transitive active single sentence data, intransitive active single sentences and passive sentences used subordinate or gatra formulas, concluded the results of the analysis, and designs implementation into learning. Based on the results of data analysis it was found that the collection of short stories of Senyum Karyamin contained single sentence which were analyzed using tagmemics in the form of transitive single sentence, intransitive single sentence, and pasif single sentence. The number of use of each sentence in the short story collection was 78 transitive active single sentences, 122 intransitive active single sentences, and 4 passive single sentences.  Keywords: tagmemics, short story

Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed at determining how students' mathematical communication skills in solving material of “Linear Program” who have high self-efficacy, moderate self-efficacy and low self-efficacy in SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. The method in this research is descriptive study with descriptive qualitative research form. Techniques of data collection used are measurement techniques and direct communication technique. Data collection tools used in this study were questionnaires, written tests and interviews. It was found that students with high self-efficacy were able to express daily events into language or mathematical symbols; they were able to reflect pictures into mathematical ideas and were able to explain the results of answers in their own language or words. Students with moderate self-efficacy are being able to express daily events into language or mathematical symbols, are able to reflect images into mathematical ideas and write answers given with words but are incomplete and incorrect with information contained in the problems. Students with low self-efficacy find it difficult to understand the commands of the problems and are unable to solve the problems given. Keywords: Linear Program, Mathematical Communication Skills, Self-efficacy

Abstract

AbstractThis study was aimed to produce a diagnostic test in the form of multiple-choice to distinguish students’ misconceptions on the subject material vibration and waves at Junior High School Level. This study was conducted in the form of a research and development (R&D) comprising (1) preparation of test specifications which include determination of test objectives, preparation of test lattices, determination of test forms, determination of test length, (2) writing of test items, (3) checking of test items, (4) testing of tests, (5) analysis of test items, (6) improvement of test items, (7) test assembly, (8) test implementation involving students from SMPN 1 MempawahHilir and MTs Muhammadiyah Bakau Kecil, and (9) interpretation of test results. The results of the analysis showed that the developed test was based on the students’ initial conception of the vibration and waves subject from the previous research. After being tested, the product obtained validity by 0.76, reliability by 0.76, readability by 4.2, and difficulty level by 0.44. Therefore, as the product met the characteristic of the test, the diagnostic test was valid and reliable to use, of which the readability and level of difficulty were equivalent to the level of the students. Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this study is whether there is an effect of the type of jigsaw cooperative learning model on the ability of orthodox style shotgun learning outcomes in grade VII students of SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak?This research uses an experimental method. The form of research used by researchers is Pre-Experimental Design. The research design used was One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. As for the population in this study were all VII grade students of SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak in the 2018/2019 school year, a total of 93 people. In this study researchers used a sampling technique is a purposive sampling technique. The sample of this study was students of class VII A with a total of 30 people.The significant pretest and posttest values are greater than 0.187 are declared normal.The value of sig 31.00> 0.683 is obtained, then the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the cooperative learning model of jigsaw type in shot put on the ability of learning outcomes of orthodox style shot put on grade VII students of SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak. Keywords :Cooperative learning, jigsaw, orthodox style bullet resistance learning                  outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this thesis is The Communication Pattern Among Adolescents in the Digital Era in Serumpun Village Salatiga District. This research is using qualitative approach with descriptive method. The data collecting tools used is the observation guidelines, interview guideline and documentation study. The general research result shows that there is a shift in the comunal communication into individuals. Communication patterns that are established through digital media result in adolescents making grouped friendship because of the same goals and desires. The pattern of communication between adolescents is predominantly using a multi-way communication carried out using media that penetrates the space of time and allows youth to communicate silmutaneously and countinously. While the results of special studies indicates that:(1) the type of social media used by the adolescents to communicate in the digital era is facebook, whatsapp, instagram, line, messenger.(2) the conversation content between teenager based on the same eagerness and function such as the conversation about sport, hoby and school. (3) as for the positive effect of the use of communication media in the digital era is: facilitate the communication process, the communication also can be done anywhere at any time, cost effective. Negative effect: raises the attitude of individualism, addicted to smart phone, reduced direct interaction (face to face). Keywords : Adolescents, Communication Pattern, Digital Era.
