Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted to find out whether the firing line strategy is effective to teach reading comprehension. The researcher conducts a pre-experimental study entitled “The Effectiveness of Using Firing Line Strategy to Teach Reading Comprehension”. The participicants of this research were the eight grade students of SMP Islam Tazkiyah Pontianak. In the research, the researcher use a pre-experimental study (one group pre-test post-test design). The data in this research were gathered by using measurement technique and statistical analysis. As a result, there were differences in the average post-test results. It was proven by the results of TTable TArithmatic = 2,042 and 9,406 (9,406 > 2,042). It was found out that the reading comprehension of students after using firing line strategy was higher than before using it, and the effect size proved the results by 1,59. In conclusion, the firing line strategy is effective to teach reading comprehension to the eight grade students of SMP Islam Tazkiyah Pontianak.  Keywords: Firing Line Strategy, Pre-Exprimental Study, Reading Comprehension

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar seni musik melalui  rancangan pembelajaran TANDUR pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Toho. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus. Berdasarkan pengamatan awal motivasi belajar siswa muncul sebesar 29,2 % dengan kategori rendah. Setelah diterapkannya rancangan pembelajaran TANDUR pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 44,7 % dengan kategori sedang, kemudian pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 62,8 % dengan kategori tinggi dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 77,6 % dengan kategori tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa rancangan pembelajaran TANDUR dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran seni musik.   Kata Kunci : Motivasi Belajar, Pembelajaran TANDUR Abstract: This research aims to increase the motivation to learn the art of music through learning design TANDUR students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Toho. The method used in this research is descriptive method with this type of research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted three cycles. Based on initial observations of students' motivation appears at 29.2% with the low category. After the implementation of learning design TANDUR in the first cycle increased to 44.7% in the medium category, and then on the second cycle increased to 62.8% with a high category and the third cycle increased to 77.6% with the higher category. This shows that learning design TANDUR can be used to increase students' motivation in learning the art of music.   Keywords : Learning Motivation, Learning TANDUR

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keinginan penulis untuk menemukan gaya bahasa dalam novelMoga Bunda Disayang Allah karya Tere Liye. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gaya bahasa yang terdapat dalam novelMoga Bunda Disayang Allahkarya Tere Liye. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan stilistika. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik dokumenter. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis data yang telah diklasifikasikan.Berdasarkan analisis data, penelitian ini menghasilkan simpulan sebagai berikut: 1) gaya bahasa perbandingan meliputi hiperbola, metafora, metonimia, personifikasi, perumpamaan , alegori, sinekdoke, simile, asosiasi, epitet, eponym, pleonasme, eufemisme, pars pro toto; 2) gaya bahasa penegasan meliputi epifora, erotesis, paralelisme, klimaks, antiklimaks; 3) gaya bahasa pertentangan meliputi antithesis, okufasi, dan paradoks; 4) gaya bahasa sindiran yang meliputi sarkasme. Kata Kunci: gaya bahasa, novel   Abstract: This research backed by desire writers to findthe figure of speech in novel Moga Bunda Disayang Allah karya Tere Liye. This research aims to describethe figure of speechspeech in novel Moga Bunda Disayang AllahTere Liye Author. This research using descriptive. The research used is stylistic approach. The technique used in this research is a documentary technique. Data analysis is done by analyzing the data that has been classified. Based on data analysis, This study yields the following conclusions: 1) the figure of speech comparison which includes hyperbole, methapor, metonymy, personification, parable, allegory, sinekdoke simile, associations, epithet, eponymous, redudancy, euphemisms and pars pro toto; 2) the figure of speech affirmation which includes epistrophe, erotesis,parallelism, climax and anticlimax; 3) the figure of speech contradictions which includes antithesis, occuption, and paradoxical; 4) the figure of speech allusions which includes sarcasm.   Keywords : the figure of speech, novel

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran problem posing untuk mengoptimalkan hasil belajar akuntansi siswa kelas X Akuntansi SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian pre experimental design yakni one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Akuntansi sedangkan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas X Akuntansi 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata nilai sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran problem posing sebesar 51,96 dan meningkat setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran problem posing menjadi 67,06 dan terdapat perbedaan yang positif dan signifikan antara hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran problem posing di mana nilai siswa jauh lebih baik ketika diajar setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran problem posing di SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak.   Kata kunci : Model Pembelajaran Problem posing Abstract: This research aims to determine the effectiveness of problem posing education model to optimize the learning outcomes of tenth grade accounting students in SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak. The method used in this research is an experimental method. The form of research is pre-experimental designs specifically the one group pretest-posttest designs. The population in this research is tenth grade accounting students while the sample is the students of X accounting 2. The results of this research indicate that average score before using the problem posing education is 51,96 and the average score after using the model increases and becomes 67,06. There is positive and significant difference between the learning outcomes before and after using problem posing education model where students? score is better when taught using problem posing education model in SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak.   Keywords : Problem Posing Teaching Method

Abstract

Abstrak: Masalah dalam penelitian adalah bagaimana pengaruh media roket kertas  terhadap hasil belajar lempar lembing pada siswa kelas V SDN 15 Pontianak Selatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media roket kertas  terhadap hasil belajar lempar lembing pada siswa kelas V SDN 15 Pontianak Selatan Metode penelitian adalah metode deskriftif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN 15 Pontianak Selatan yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan persentase pencapaian ketuntasan.Hasil penelitian didapatkan perbandingan antar siklus dapat di simpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan media roket kertas memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar lempar lembing  pada siswa kelas V SDN 15 Pontianak Selatan pada tiap tindakan yang di berikan. Sebelum diberikan perlakuan ketuntasan hanya 11,43% siswa, selanjutnya setelah diberikan 2 siklus pembelajaran meningkat menjadi 77,14%. Media roket kertas memiliki pengaruh 28,77% dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar.   Kata Kunci: Media Roket Kertas, Hasil Belajar Lempar Lembing.   Abstract: Problems in the study is how the media influence the paper rocket on learning outcomes javelin at fifth grade students of SDN 15 South Pontianak. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the paper rocket media on learning outcomes javelin at fifth grade students of SDN 15 South Pontianak research method is descriptive method with the form of classroom action research (PTK). The subjects were fifth grade students of SDN 15 South Pontianak totaling 35 students. Data were analyzed using percentage achieved ketuntasan.Hasil research shows the comparison between cycles can be concluded that learning with paper rocket media has an influence on learning outcomes javelin at fifth grade students of SDN 15 South Pontianak on every action that is given. Before the treatment is given the thoroughness of only 11.43% of the students, then after being given two cycles of learning increased to 77.14%. Media rocket 28.77% paper has an influence in improving learning outcomes. Keywords: Media Rocket Paper, Javelin Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find the profile of student misconception and to see the difference in percentage of misconception of male and female students of grade XII of SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak on static electricity material, using descriptive research method. The data collection technique uses multiple choice test with an open reason. An average student misconception 77,36% of 90 students found. 65 (72.22%) students assumed that if two objects were rubbed together then electrons and protons shifted. 78 (86.88%) students assume if the charge of an object after rubbing has excess electrons then the charge of the object initially is negative. 18 (20%) students assume the interaction of two objects of mutual excess electrons will pull. 80 (88.89%) students assume large electric force inversely proportional to the distance between charged objects. In Problems 5 and 6, 100% of students assume that the force of attraction or deny between two charged objects is due to the amount of charge on the object. 42 (46.67%) students on problem 7, and 78 (86.67%) students on question 10 assume the positive source charge of the direction of the field near the source charge and the negative source charge of the field direction away from the source load. In problem 8, 70 (77.78%) misconception students explain the electric field strength at a point. 86 (95.56%) students assume the distance of an object, the stronger the field strength. There is no difference in the percentage of misconceptions between male and female students. With result of chi squared test count equal to 0,797 less than chi square 16,92 table value. Keywords: description, misconception profile, static electricity

Abstract

 Abstract The research about describe the term, the component of meaning, the meaning of lexical and the meaning of culture in otar-otar martial art in form of movement, instruments music instrument and kuntau movement. The method that was used was observation method, interview, documentation, and descriptive. Based on the data analysis, otar-otar martial art there are some data which is rasists of is data for the terminology of otar-otar movement 4 data the terminology of instrument in otar-otar martial art, 4 data for terminology of otar-otar martial art music instrument, and 7 data for terminology of kuntau in otar-otar martial art. Result of data analysis of based on data analysis result of the meaning component that has been done and it was found that the meaning component of the otar-otar  martial art movement there were 4 terminology data, the music instrument of otar-otar martial art there were 4 terminology data, and kuntau martial art movement there were 7 terminology data. The result of interview that was obtained, it means there were 6 cultural meaning in otar-otar martial art. Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of reciprocal teaching model in learning to the result of the students in learning international cooperation at social XI MAN 2 Pontianak. The method of this research was quasi experimental research with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this research was the students of  social in second grade, and the control group of this research was the students of social in first grade. The result of this research found that the mean score of the students in learning international cooperation was 77,69 and the mean score of control group was 75,00. The difference between post-test in two group get the t-count 2,14 and t-table with significant level 5% or 0,05 so it were tested in two sides t count > t-table (2,14>1,99), it can be seen in sig. The level of significant (Sig. 2-tailed) with 0,035 it means the level of significant < 0,05 (0,035 < 0,05). Referring to the research findings, there was a difference between the result of post-test with the experiment and control group. It can be concluded that alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. Based on the effect size obtained 0,49 in the result of learning achievement. Keyword : Reciprocal Teaching, Learning Achievement, International Cooperation

Abstract

AbstractThe students’ satisfaction is a reaction of feeling toward the experience acquired in the school with their expectation. Therefore, the students will satisfy if their perception toward the work of the BK teacher in giving his/her service could fulfil the students’ expectation, the students then will satisfy with the study guidance given in the school. This research aims to know the students’ satisfaction of VIII grade of SMP N 4 Sungai Raya toward the study guidance given by the teacher guidance and counseling, whether runs based on the students’ expectation. The methodology of this research is descriptive method with the quantitative approach with the study of survey form. Sample of this research were 40 students. The data analysis result shows that the students’ satisfaction level toward the study guidance is categorized “Satisfy Enough” with the percentage of 66,41 %. Based on the result above, it can be concluded that some students of VIII grade of SMP N 4 Sungai Raya were satisfied enough with the study guidance and some of them were not satisfied with the study guidance given by the school.Keywords: Student’s Satisfaction, Study Guidance

Abstract

AbstractAffixation of Dayak Kanayatn Languange in Papakatatn Barahu is a morphology research that studied affixation of Dayak Kanayatn Language in a translation of New Testament Bible into a local language. This research is created because the affixation process that appears in translation need to be studied, so that’s will produce a comprehensive translation into a local language as form of language process.The problem in this research is divided into three subproblems that include form, function, and meaning of affixes in Dayak Kanayatn language. The affixation of Dayak Kanayatn language is describe in qualitative research that used descriptive method. The technique that used in collecting data is document study technique. The data source in this research is Papakatatn Barahu, a translation of New Testament Bible into Dayak Kanayatn language. The result of the data analyzed in this research is found prefix, suffix, konfiks, and affix combination that has various form, function, and meaning. Dayak Kanayatn prefix in Papakatatn Barahu has eight kinds which is ba-, di-, ka-, ma-, pa-, pa-, sa-, and ta-. Dayak Kanayatn suffix in Papakatatn Barahu has four kinds which is -atn, -nya, -i', -atn. Dayak Kanayatn konfiks in Papakatatn Barahu has five kinds which is ba-atn, ka-atn, pa-atn, pa-atn, and sa-nya. Dayak Kanayatn combination affix in Papakatatn Barahu has eleven kinds which is ma-.-atn, ma-.-i’, ba-.-atn, ba-.-atn, di-.-atn, di-.-i', di-.-pa-, di-.-pa-atn, di-.-pa-i’, m-.-pa-atn, ta-.-atn.
