Abstract

Abstract  The background of this research was the lack of junior high school students’ spatial reasoning and quantitative reasoning  in Pythagoras theorem. This research used Didactical Design Research (DDR) method which started by a preliminary study to 18 students of grade IX A Bumi Khatulistiwa  Junior High School.  The preliminary study was aimed to explore students’ learning obstacles to develep didactical design. The developed didactical design was implemented to 20 students of grade VIII A of Bumi Khatulistiwa  Junior High School. After this implementation the developed didactical design was revised. The results of this research were the learning tools used by previous teacher have  explored spatial reasoning and quantitative reasoning, the developed didactical design had minimized students’ epistemological obstacle.    Keywords: Didactical Design, Spatial Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Epistemogical Obstacle

Abstract

AbstractThis research entitled case study about student who have negative self concept in class X SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. Common problem in this research is how effort to help student having negatif self concept in class X SMA Mujahidin Pontianak? As for the sub-problems: 1) How are the characteristics of student who have negative self concept?, 2) What psychological factors that cause student to have negative self concept?, 3) What physiological factors that cause student to have a negative self concept?, 4) What are the sociological factors that cause student to have a negative self concept?, 5) What are the efforts of help done to overcome the student who has negative self concept? The approach used in this reaserch is qualitative by using descriptive method. The research form is a case study. Data collection techniques used are direct observation, interviews and home visits. Based on observations and interviews with case subjects concluded that the identification of student problems are as follows: 1) psychological factors; a) thoughts, b) feelings, and c) emotions. 2) physiological factors; case subject have a lack of vision in reading writing. 3) sociological factors; case subject are children who are not very active in social relationships with school friends, tend to be quiet in communicating.Keywords: Student who have negative self concept

Abstract

AbstractThe presentation form in music show is for the harmonic of music show presented to audience. Gondang Sabangunan is a Bataknese music ensemble group composed of 4 type of music instruments which are Taganing, Hasapi, Suling. This research has two problems formulation, which are (a) how music form of Made Nauli Sound music group and (b) how presentation form of Made Nauli Sound music show when performing in shows. Data was gathered with three methods: interview, observation, and documentation. Made Nauli Sound music group base was located in Asrama Gatot Karika V Street, Adisucipto, Pontianak. The respondent of the research was the owner of Made Nauli Sound and drummer of Gondang Sabangunan with interview method. Data analysis was done word by word and the validity check was done using Triangulation. Observation and personnel interview done from April to November 2017. The data analysis result concluded that Gondang Sabangunan (a) music form presents shows in instrumental and combination form. The harmony was formed collectively and performance was done in multiple Batak show especially Christian religion occasions. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of study is for describe use of contexstual learning modeling  components that  could improve skills reading student poetry in the class III SDN 20 Pontianak Selatan. This research  use approach qualitatif, method that  used descriptive with  form research action class and  is collaborative. The research held in SDN 20 Pontianak Selatan, class III that numbered 29 students with subject research teacher and students class III. Technique collectors  data that used that is technique observation, technique interview and technique scrutiny document with tool collectors data that is guidelines interview, sheet instrument assessment ability teacher plan learning, sheet instrument assesment ability teacher doing learning, and document results read students. Assesment ability teacher designing learning  form cycle I 3,34 categorized good and increased on cycle II 3,73 categorized very well increased 0,39 from cycle I. Assesment ability teacher doing learning from cycle I 3,11categorized good and increased Incycle II 3,63 categorized very good increased 0,52 from cycle I. Assessmet results read poetry students from cycle I 71,26% and increased on cycle II 79,31% increased 8,05 % form cycle I. Based on data that obtained could concluded  that happen enhancement on every cycle. With thereby, research use learning contextual component modeling on learning read poetry class III SDN 20 Pontianak Selatan could improve skills students read poetry. Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to (1) produce a valid learning blog as a medium of learning and practical learning in the acquisition of the concept of carbon chemistry, (2) to study the acquisition of carbon chemistry concepts using learning blog has been developed. The method used is the method of development, with the chosen design development using ADDIE development. Development steps are as follows: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. Validation of product development include (1) expert test material, (2) test media expert, (3) lecturer of test subjects, (4) individual testing, (5) a small test group, and (6) of the test group . The instrument used in this study was a test, observation, questionnaires and document analysis. Results of this study indicate that (1) learning blog developed carbon chemistry has been declared valid and practical as media and learning resources in the acquisition of learned concepts carbon chemistry. (2) blog of learning that has been developed to help in the acquisition of learning the concept of carbon chemistry for students.Keywords: Developmental, Learning Blog, Carbon Chemistry

Abstract

AbstractDayak Ntuka is one of the Dayak sub-tribes who live in the Nanga District of Sekadau District. Local wisdom contained in the unit of measurement in the Dayak Ntuka is a distinctive characteristic of other Dayak sub-tribes. Unit is a tool used to express measurement results, standard or basic size. Therefore, in Indonesian the unit of measurement used is gram, kg, ounce, ton, meter, and cm, i n Dayak Ntuka there are also various kinds of words which state unit length, number, unit of content, unit and weight. The unit of measure serves to measure the quantity of an object, the unit of measure also has the meaning and value that we can find in the Dayak Ntuka Language. The traditional unit of measure has a meaning that has aspects of culture and culture of the people who own the culture so that the traditional unit of measure is maintained. The study was conducted in Pantok Village which is a native speaker of the Dayak Ntuka language. This study includes terminology, meaning, meaning, and Indonesian language learning texts in the 2013 curriculum education unit. Data analysis consists of four classifications, namely categories of terminology, words, phrases, lexical meanings, meanings, and meanings in units of measure. Keywords: Terminology, Size Unit, Dayak Ntuka

Abstract

AbstractThe study examines the effect of problem solving strategy to improve the student?s skill of solving the problem on momentum and impulse. The method of this research is pre-experimental design (one group pretest-posttest design) with 30 students of X MIPA 3 grade at SMAN 2 Pontianak for participant which has taken by purposive sampling technique. The 4 problems on essay test used in this research. Based of the results, problem solving skills of the student is 21.33% on low category and 69% on high category respectively on pretest and posttest. It improved on medium category with N-gain score 0.607. Wilcoxon test showed significant difference of problem solving skills after momentum and impulse learning with problem solving strategy. The effectivity of this strategy in improving problem solving skills is 6,12 (high level). The results of this study are expected to be an alternative in an effort to improve the physics? problem solving skills of the student using problem solving strategy. Keywords:  problem solving strategy, physics? problem solving skill, momentum and impulse

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to know and describe the effeectiveness implementation of cooperative type Team Games Tournament in Trigonometry learning at SMA N 08 Pontianak. The research method used in this study was pre-experimental with a one shot case study design. The aspects used to determine the effectiveness of the team games tournament model were the activities of students, the application of teachers in managing learning, and student learning outcomes. The data collection tool used was a test of student learning outcomes, which contains 5 essay questions, observation sheets the process of implementing teachers in the management of learning, observation sheets of student activities, research data analyzed descriptively. It was obtained that the activities of the students were classified as quite active at 70%. the teacher's implementation process in managing learning is very good, namely 3,635. Classical student mastery learning  was not fulfilled, there were 27 students or 77% of student who achieve the minimum completeness scores. Learning by using the team games tournament model on trigonometry learning in Pontianak 8 High School is said to be ineffective. Keywords: Application,  Cooperative Team Games Tournament Model, Trigonometry Learning

Abstract

AbstractBoth of “dianr” and “xie” are belonged to indefinite measure word which used to indicate the indefinite amount. Even “dianr” and “xie” are equally belonged to a same word class, but the differences between them are lie in what the words meant and how its used. “dianr” can be used to express an indefinite amount, as well as “xie” but the amount which expressed was different. The amount that expressed by “dianr” is less than “xie”. Therefore, students may encounter some obstacles whenever they learn and use them, for example, there were some students who assumed that “dianr” and “xie” were same and can be substituting each other. In order to understand the mastery condition and difficulties of “dianr” and “xie” of Tanjungpura University Chinese Major year 2015 students, researcher used Literature Study Method and Test Method. The research results represent that Tanjungpura University Chinese Major year 2015 students can master “dianr” and “xie” well, with their mastery percentage that reached 75.47% and 71.59%. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan unsur intrinisik yang terdapat dalam novel Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong Karya Tere Liye dan pengimplementasian pembelajaran unsur intrinsik yang terdapat dalam novel Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong Karya Tere Liye terhadap mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskripstif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam novel Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong Karya Tere Liye terdapat unsur intrinsik yang terdiri dari tema, alur, latar, penokohan, sudut pandang, gaya bahasa, dan amanat. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan bahan pengajaran bahsa Indonesia di sekolah khususnya untuk mengajar siswa menganalisis unsur-unsur intrinsik pada sebuah novel.   Kata Kunci: analisis, struktur, novel   Abstract: This research aimed to describe the intrinsic elements contained in the novel Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong by Tere Liye and implementing learning intrinsic elements contained in the novel Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong by Tere Liye against Indonesian subjects at school. The method used in this study is descriptive method. Based on the analysis of data can be concluded that the novel Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong by Tere Liye there is an intrinsic element consisting of theme, plot, background, characterizations,viewpoint, language style, and mandate. Results from this study are expected to be used as the teaching of Indonesian in schools, especially to teach students to analyze the elements intrinsic to a novel.
