Abstract

Abstrak: Secara umum tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tentang penggunaan media flash card untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf abjad pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Pertiwi Kecamatan Kendawangan Kabupaten Ketapang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa: 1) Perencanaan yang dilakukan guru antara lain: menyusun langkah-langkah penggunaan media flash card dalam RKH, merencanakan materi pembelajarn sesuai tema dan sub tema, membuat media flash card, membuat pedoman penilaian berdasarkan standar pencapaian perkembangan bahasa anak kelompok A. 2) Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan guru antara lain: mengadakan tanya jawab kepada anak tentang pengenalan huruf abjad, menyampaikan penjelasan pengenalan huruf abjad, menunjukkan flash card huruf abjad satu persatu, mengajak anak untuk menyebutkan huruf abjad pada media flash card, mengajak anak untuk menyebutkan benda-benda sesuai tema, melihat media gambar, menyebutkan gambar yang dilihat, menyebutkan huruf pada media gambar, menyusun huruf pada media flash card, dan menyambungkan titik-titik huruf sesuai dengan huruf pada media flash card. 3) Kemampuan anak usia 4-5 tahun dalam mengenal huruf abjad meningkat sebesar 76%, adapun peningkatan tersebut antara lain: a) Anak yang dapat menyebutkan simbol huruf abjad. b) Anak yang dapat mengurutkan simbol huruf abjad. c) Anak yang dapat menulis simbol huruf abjad. Kata Kunci :  falshcard, huruf abjad   Abstract : The general objective of this research is to identify and describe the use of flash media cards to increase the ability to know the letters of the alphabet in children aged 4-5 years in kindergarten Kendawangan Ketapang. Based on the findings that : 1) Planning the teachers include: preparing the steps for using media flash cards in RKH, planning pembelajarn material according to the theme and sub theme, create a flash media card, make judgments based on standard guidelines for the achievement of child language development group A. 2) The steps that teachers, among others: to conduct a discussion about the introduction of the child to the alphabet letters, alphabet submit an explanation letter recognition, alphabet flash cards show one by one, invite children to name letters of the alphabet on flash media cards, invites children to name objects according to the theme , see media images , said image being viewed, said the letter to the media images , composing letters on flash media card , and connect the dots on the letter corresponding to the letter of flash media cards. 3) The ability of children aged 4-5 years in recognizing letters of the alphabet increased by 76% , while the increase include: a) Children who can name the symbol alphabet. b) Children can sort the letters of the alphabet symbols. c) Children who can write letters of the alphabet symbols. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to describe student's procedural knowledge ability in solving the problem of linear equation system of two variables on the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive and the form of research is survey. The Subject of this research was 33 students of eighth grade of VIII A class of SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak. Based on the result of the test and interview. The results in this research shows that student’s had fairly good procedural knowledge in solving the problem of linear equation system of two variables. The Student’s were able to choose the procedure/method that will be used to solve the problems of linear equation system of two variables based on what they understood, remembered and commonly used. On the aspect of applying the chosen procedure to solve the problem, students were able to apply the procedure of settlement well, only few students were doing mistaken in the calculation.Keywords: Procedural Knowledge, Completing Problem, Solving System  of Equations                          In Two Variable

Abstract

Abstract: The title of this research is developing of students work sheet with macroscopic-microscopic-symbolic approach in chemical bonding subject. The purpose of this research was to produce a student work sheet with macroscopic-microscopic-symbolic approach in chemical bonding subject. The method of this research is Research & Development (R&D) recommended by Borg & Gall with modification. There are four steps in this method, which is research and collecting information, planning, developing preliminary form of product, and the last is field testing and product revision. Based on the result, the student work sheet with macroscopis-microscopic-symbolic approach in chemical bonding subject was suitable been used at learning process. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) ikatan dengan pendekatan makroskopis-mikroskopis-simbolik pada materi ikatan kimia. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model pengembangan yang direkomendasikan oleh Borg & Gall (1989) yang dimodifikasi yang meliputi empat tahap yaitu penelitian pendahuluan untuk mengumpulkan informasi, melakukan perencanaan, mendesain produk awal sampai melakukan uji coba lapangan dan revisi produk. Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki kinerja guru dalam peningkat hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Matematika di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Balau Nyawang. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dan sifat penelitian dalam penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah kolaboratif. Subjek Penelitian yaitu guru dan peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Balau Nyawang yang berjumlah 16 Orang. Metode Yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi langsung. Sedangkan alat pengumpul data adalah lembar observasi guru dan hasil siswa. Data yang dikumpulkan tersebut dianalisis dengan perhitungan rata – rata: 1) Pada Kemampuan guru mengajar  perencanaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran Matematika menerapkan metode kerja kelompok dengan rata-rata nilai peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu 0,84. 2) Kemampuan guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran Matematika dengan metode kerja kelompok dengan rata-rata nilai peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu 0,18. 3) Penggunaan metode kerja kelompok dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan rata-rata nilai peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu 25.63. Kata Kunci: Belajar Matematika, Metode Kerja Kelompok.   Abstract: The purpose of this research is to increase teacher’s ability in increasing students achievement in study mathematic in class IV of Elementary school number 16 Balau Nyawang. method of research used is descriptive method in form classroom Action research bi using collaborative. The subject in this research are teacher’s and students class IV of Elementary school 16 students. Technical of this research is direct technical and the tool of collecting data is worksheet of observation for teachers and students the data have been collected is analyzed: 1) in teachers ability in teaching and planning the process of study mathematic with workgroup with the different score from cycles 1 and cycles 2 is : 0.84. 2) Teacher ability in teaching mathematic with group work has different score from cycles 1 and cycles 2 is : 0.18. 3) The using of group work can increase the students achievement with different score from cycles 1 and cycles 2 is : 25.63. Abstract

AbstractThis study was particularly aimed to reveal the application of cooperative model of Picture and Picture to students’ achievement in classification of living things material of seven grade students of SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak. The form of this study was a quasi-experimental. The design of this study was nonequivalent control group design. Data were collected from two classes; those are VIIB class (experimental group) and VIIA class (Control group). The sample was taken by intact group. The instrument of this study was multiple choice tests. The average of students' achievement of experiment group was 15,2, while the average of students’ achievement of control group was 13,9. the Mann-Whitney U test was obtained  Zcount(-2,11) < -Ztable (-1.96), it means that there was a different significant between students’ achievement who taught using cooperative model of Picture and Picture with students’ achievement who taught using conventional model. Keyword: students’achievement, cooperative model of Picture and Picture, classification of living things material.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan minat belajar Bahasa Inggris melalui pembelajaran gerak dan lagu pada anak usia 5-6 tahun TK Kristen Immanuel Pontianak Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 20 orang anak dan 1 guru kelas. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa guru telah meningkatkan aspek menirukan kembali 4-5 urutan kata, 90% anak masuk kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan dan Berkembang Sangat Baik, 10% anak masuk kategori Mulai Berkembang. Guru meningkatkan aspek mengucapkan syair lagu anak, 85% anak masuk kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan dan Berkembang Sangat Baik, 15% anak masuk kategori Mulai Berkembang. Guru meningkatkan aspek menyanyikan lagu anak dengan gerakan, 85% anak masuk kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan dan Berkembang Sangat Baik, 15% anak masuk kategori Mulai Berkembang.   Kata Kunci: Minat Belajar, Gerak, Lagu Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe  the development of  English learning interest through music and movement for children 5-6 years old. The research method used is descriptive approach method. This research took twenty children and one teacher as samples. The result of data analysis showed that teacher developed  the children’s ability in  repeating 4-5 words. 90% of the children developed according to expectation and were categorized as well developed children and 10% of the children were categorized as beginning developed children. Teacher also developed the children’s ability in  reciting the rhyme. 85% of the children developed according to expectation and were categorized as well developed children and 15% of the children were categorized as begining developed children. Besides, teacher developed the children’s singing ability and body movement. 85% of the children developed according to expectation  and were categorized as well developed children and 15% of the children were categorized as begining developed children.   Keywords: Learning Interest, Music, Movement

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted based on the interest on the decreasing of the quality of education. One of them is Bahasa Indonesia learning process, especially on the speaking skill of V grade students of Bawamai elementary school Pontianak. Designing an interactive module in improving the students’ speaking skill became the focus in this research to improve the students’ speaking skill. The purpose of this research was to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation. Moreover, the interactive module that was used to develop the students’ speaking skill  can be used in implementation of Bahasa Indonesia learning process.This research used research and development method or qualitative approach. The object in this research was the interactive module on learning Bahasa Indonesia that is to know the result of using a module in learning process.The finding showed that designing an interactive module in improving the students’ speaking skill can be stated good and based on the criteria of designing a module. The results from three experts’ validation are 4 for the media, 4.6 for the design, and 4.62 for language materials. Meanwhile, the result of the analysis on the use of module with the average score 90.97. Based on the results, the research on designing an interactive module in improving students’ speaking skill is important to be continued because this research can be used as a source for students to improve their speaking skill.  Keywords : Designing modules, young learners, speaking skill

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to investigate the influence of social and economic conditions of the parents of the motivation to continue their education into college in the class III SMA Negeri 1 Ambawang River Kubu Raya district. The research method used is descriptive method. The sample in this research were 100 students. The results of data analysis showed that the social condition of the elderly in the category of pretty with a percentage of 49%, the economic conditions of the elderly in the category simply by percentage of 47% and motivation of students to continue their education into college in the category simply by percentage of 44%. There is the influence of social and economic conditions of the parents of the motivation to continue their education to higher education by 29%. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kondisi sosial dan ekonomi orang tua terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi di kelas III SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kondisi sosial orang tua dalam kategori cukup dengan persentase 49%, kondisi ekonomi orang tua dalam kategori cukup dengan persentase 47% dan motivasi siswa melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi dalam kategori cukup dengan persentase 44%. Terdapat adanya pengaruh kondisi sosial dan ekonomi orang tua terhadap motivasi melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi sebesar 29%. Kata Kunci: Kondisi Sosial, Kondisi Ekonomi, Motivasi Melanjutkan Pendidikan.

Abstract

 AbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe the effect of applying the example non example model on the thematic learning outcomes of Grade IV students. The method used is an experimental method in the form of Quasi Experimental Design with Non Equivalent Control Group Design experimental design. The population which is at the same time a sample in this study is grade IV students namely IV A and IV B. The data collection technique used is the measurement technique. Data collection tool in the form of a written test in the form of multiple choice. Based on the analysis of the data obtained the average results of the experimental class post-test 78.95 and the average post-test control class 71.50. Hypothesis test results using t-test (Polled Variance) obtained t_count = 2.361 while (dk = 24 + 22 - 2 = 44) with a 5% significance level obtained t_table = 2.020, which means tcount> t table, then  accepted, this proves that there is an effect of the application of the Example Non Example model on Thematic Student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the calculation of Effect Size (ES) obtained ES = 0.73 including medium criteria.Keywords : Influence, Learning Outcomes, Model Example Non Example, Thematic Learning.

Abstract

Abstract: The students of the third grade of SDS Al-Madani  Pontianak performs disruptive behavior and their mean score is low. For that, the researcher uses sticky flashcard as a media in teaching English. The research aimed to investigate the use of sticky flashcard to reduce the students’ disruptive behavior, to improve students’ vocabulary score and students’ response using sticky flashcard. The researcher conducts a classroom action research in two cycles. The observation checklist, field notes, written tests and questionnaire are used to collect the data. First cycle, sticky flashcard uses through discussion, the result 32 disruptive behaviors occurs and the mean score is 54. Second cycle, sticky flashcard uses through games, the result 3 disruptive behaviors occurs and the mean score is 76. The students’ response are excited and helped by sticky flashcard. The conclusion, the use of sticky flashcard reduces the students’ disruptive behavior and improves the students' vocabulary achievement. Keywords: Sticky Flashcard, disruptive behaviors, vocabulary. Abstrak: Siswa kelas tiga SDS Al-Madani Pontianak seringkali menunjukkan sikap disruptif dan nilai rata-rata kosakata mereka rendah. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menggunakan sticky flashcard sebagai media pembelajaran dalam mengajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan sticky flashcard dalam mengurangi sikap disruptif, meningkatkan nilai kosakata dan respon siswa terhadap sticky flashcard. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Dalam penelitian ini data didapatkan dari observasi checklist, field notes, test tulis dan kuisioner. Pada siklus pertama, peneliti menggunakan sticky flashcard melalui diskusi dan hasilnya terjadi 32 sikap disruptif dan nilai rata-rata siswa adalah 54. Pada siklus kedua, peneliti menggunakan sticky flashcard melalui permainan dan hasilnya terjadi 3 sikap disruptive dan nilai rata-rata siswa adalah 76. Siswa merespon dengan baik dan terbantu dengan sticky flashcard. Kesimpulannya adalah penggunaan sticky flashcard dapat mengurangi sikap disruptif dan meningkatkan nilai vocabulary siswa. Kata Kunci: Sticky Flashcard, sikap disruptif, kosakata.
