Al-Mikraj: Jurnal Kajian Islam dan Humaniora Indonesia. Jurnal ini membahas tentang Studi Islam dan Humaniora. Kajian Islam memiliki ruang lingkup kajian yang cukup luas secara sistematis dan terintegrasi untuk mengetahui, memahami dan menganalisis secara mendalam hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan Islam, baik yang menyangkut sumber-sumber ajaran Islam, pokok-pokok ajaran Islam, sejarah Islam, dan realitas Islam. implementasinya dalam kehidupan. Kajian humaniora menjelaskan ilmu alam yaitu ilmu sosial dan humaniora. Ilmu alam meliputi matematika, fisika, kimia, ilmu bumi, dan astronomi. Ilmu sosial tersebut adalah sosiologi, antropologi, psikologi, pendidikan, ekonomi, dan politik. Sedangkan ilmu humaniora meliputi bahasa, linguistik, sastra, pendidikan, sejarah, hukum, filsafat, arkeologi, seni, dan ilmu sosial yang memiliki muatan humanistik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic educational leadership with the concept of holistic education as a response to the challenges of 21st-century education. Employing a qualitative approach through library research and thematic analysis based on Braun and Clarke’s model, the study focuses on three key areas: first, spirituality as the foundation of Islamic leadership, grounded in values such as amanah, khalifah, ikhlas, tawakal, and muraqabah; second, the identification of integrative principles—tawazun, tawhid, rahmah, adl, and ihsan—which align with holistic education principles; and third, the formulation of a transformational-spiritual leadership model built on four pillars: spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social, along with its implementation strategies through curriculum transformation, leadership capacity development, and organizational culture building. The findings demonstrate that integrating Islamic values with holistic educational principles not only enriches leadership theory but also offers a practical framework applicable to contemporary Islamic educational institutions in a contextual and sustainable manner.

Abstract

Leadership in Islamic education plays a crucial role in determining the direction and quality of educational institutions. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing Islamic educational leadership by employing a library research method. Data were collected from relevant literature, including books, journal articles, proceedings, and academic documents, and analyzed using a descriptive-analytical approach. The findings reveal that leadership effectiveness is shaped by two main groups of factors: internal and external. Internal factors consist of abilities, personal qualities, and leadership styles, where democratic–transformational leadership proves to be more effective in fostering participation, improving learning quality, and strengthening public trust. External factors include social, economic, cultural, political, and geographical aspects that form the broader context of leadership and require leaders to be adaptive to change. The synthesis of Islamic values and modern leadership theories produces a conceptual model of ideal Islamic educational leadership that is grounded in prophetic values, responsive to socio-cultural contexts, and adaptive to contemporary developments. This study is expected to enrich the academic literature and provide practical contributions for leaders of Islamic educational institutions in enhancing educational quality and human resource development.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of digital communication strategies through LinkedIn on customer satisfaction at JETHRO. A quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software was applied. Data were collected from 49 respondents who interacted with JETHRO’s official LinkedIn account. The results show a positive and significant effect of digital communication strategies on customer satisfaction (path coefficient = 0.910; t = 38.767; p = 0.000; R² = 0.828). Indicators such as message clarity, content creativity, audience interaction, and message consistency play dominant roles in enhancing satisfaction. The findings reinforce the Uses and Gratifications Theory and Integrated Marketing Communication framework as conceptual bases for professional digital communication effectiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan urgensi sekolah berintegritas sebagai penyangga nilai-nilai karakter di era dgital, dan  implementasi sekolah berintegritas di SMAN 1 Magelang. Penelitian ini bersifat lebih mendalam dibanding penelitian lainnya yang sejenis, yaitu mengungkapkan strategi menanamkan nilai-nilai integritas ditinjau dari aspek kepemimpinan, manajerial, kurikulum, dan organisasi siswa.  Penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan bagaimana peran kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik  menegakkan nilai-nilai integritas, serta bagaimana keterkaitan integritas dengan penguatan karakter di era digital. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian kualitatif diungkapkan yaitu memahami fenomena tentang  yang dialami subjek penelitian yaitu sikap, perilaku, dan tindakan dll. Penelitian ini memungkinkan peneliti untuk lebih memahami objek penelitian secara mendalam. Metode yang dipilih merupakan studi kasus, yaitu menelaah fenomena  implementasi sekolah berintegritas  di SMAN 1 Magelang pada tahun 2025 dan urgensi sekolah berintegritas sebagai penyangga nilai karakter di era digital, untuk mendapatkan akurasi informasi sekolah berintegritas di  SMA Negeri 1 Magelang.  Data diperoleh dari fakta-fakta  di lapangan, dikumpulkan, disusun, dan dikaitkan satu fakta dengan fakta lainnya, kemudian dianalisa, untuk kemudian dijadikan suatu kesimpulan. Penelitian ini membuktikan urgensi implementasi sekolah berintegritas yaitu dapat membangun lingkungan belajar  yang aman, kondusif, dan meningkatkan well being peserta didik.  Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah implementasi sekolah berintegritas di SMAN 1 Magelang merupakan penyangga penguatan nilai karakter di era digital,  dibuktikan dengan peningkatan kualitas peserta didik khususnya peningkatan good morality  atau peningkatan karakter baik pada peserta didik, dan peningkatan prestasi. Tata kelola implementasi sekolah berintegritas diterapkan dengan prinsip good governance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' mathematical problem-solving abilities through an analogy approach with the aid of Wordwall media on the topic of plane figures at MI Al-Kautsar Durisawo. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach to describe the mathematical problem-solving abilities of fifth-grade students at MI Al-Kautsar Durisawo through an analogy approach with the aid of Wordwall media. Data were collected through tests, interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was maintained through triangulation of techniques and sources, as well as verification through member checks with students and teachers. The results showed that the analogy approach was effective in systematically improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Wordwall media was proven to facilitate the visualization of abstract concepts, making learning more engaging, interactive, and increasing enthusiasm for learning. It showed by the students' test results, which showed an average score of 81.41. The test results showed that 15.63% were in the high category, 67.74% in the medium category, and 18.75% in the low category. High-ability students demonstrated strong understanding and critical thinking, while students with medium and low abilities still required additional guidance. Overall, this approach had a positive impact on class engagement, learning responses, and the development of students' thinking skills.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) not only shapes students' faith but also plays a crucial role in instilling an attitude of tolerance in a pluralistic society. In Indonesia's multicultural context, instilling values ​​of tolerance from an early age is an urgent need given the increasing incidence of intolerance, including in educational settings. Studies on the integration of tolerance values ​​into PAI at the early childhood and primary education levels are still limited. Previous research has focused more on secondary and general education, while the role of PAI teachers as agents of religious moderation and the application of experiential learning in early childhood has not been comprehensively studied. This study aims to analyze strategies for integrating tolerance values ​​into PAI learning from early childhood to primary education. Using a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature studies, the discussion focuses on the integration of multicultural values ​​into the PAI curriculum, the role of teachers, and contextual learning methods in developing inclusive character. The results indicate that effective strategies include inclusive curriculum development, experiential learning, teacher role models, and school-family collaboration in fostering a culture of tolerance. Theoretically, this study contributes to formulating a conceptual framework for PAI-based tolerance education that combines multicultural perspectives and religious moderation. Practically, this research offers a learning strategy model that teachers can implement and can serve as a reference for developing a multicultural Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum. Thus, PAI, grounded in the principle of rahmatan lil 'alamin (blessing for the universe), has strategic potential in developing a generation capable of living harmoniously amidst diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character development of early childhood through local cultural education at RA Hidayatul Athfal Prambon Nganjuk. The background of this study departs from the phenomenon of decreasing knowledge and love of children for regional culture due to the influence of globalization and technological developments. Introducing local culture from an early age is believed to be able to foster a sense of love for the homeland, responsibility, and pride in national identity. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation of teachers and learning activities. Data analysis was carried out descriptively by examining data from observations and interviews which were then categorized based on the research focus. The results of the study indicate that the character development of early childhood at RA Hidayatul Athfal is carried out through various activities based on local culture, such as wearing traditional clothing, playing traditional games, making crafts from natural materials, dancing regional dances, and visiting historical sites. These activities have proven effective in fostering character values ​​such as discipline, cooperation, responsibility, love of the homeland, and respect for national culture. Local cultural education is not only a means of preserving traditional values, but also serves as a medium for developing noble character aligned with the Pancasila Student Profile, particularly in the context of global diversity. Therefore, integrating local cultural education into early childhood education institutions is a strategic step in developing a young generation with identity, character, and a love for their nation.

Abstract

This study aims to improve short story writing skills through the use of audio-visual media for fifth-grade students at UPT SDN No.78 Balang, Galesong Selatan District, Takalar Regency. The background of this research is the low ability of students in writing short stories, particularly in structuring the plot, describing characters, and presenting conflicts and moral messages. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in four cycles, each consisting of eight meetings. The research subjects were 37 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, short story writing tests, and documentation, then analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ short story writing skills, with the percentage of mastery learning increasing from 45.9% in cycle I to 91.9% in cycle IV. Improvements were observed in students’ ability to organize plots, develop characters, describe settings, present conflicts, and convey moral messages. In addition, the use of audio-visual media was proven to enhance students’ motivation, creativity, and participation in learning. Thus, audio-visual media can serve as an innovative, effective, and engaging learning strategy to improve elementary school students’ short story writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the strategies implemented by teachers at MI Ma'arif Kadipaten to develop students' Indonesian language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing, within a creative, contextual, and enjoyable learning context. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach to explore teachers' strategies in developing Indonesian language skills at MI Ma'arif Kadipaten. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The analysis was strengthened through triangulation to ensure the data obtained were valid and reflected in the realities of the field. The results indicate that teachers at MI Ma'arif Kadipaten successfully developed students' listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills through creative, enjoyable, and student-centered strategies. Listening and reading instruction was conducted using an approach that addressed cognitive, emotional, and social aspects, and supported by a literacy-rich learning environment. Writing skills were developed through the use of images, daily journals, and literacy activities that foster student expression. Meanwhile, speaking skills are enhanced through storytelling, role-playing, and stage performances, which foster students' courage and confidence.

Abstract

This study examines Muhammadiyah's perspective on the relationship between religion and local culture in Indonesia, as well as how the organization actualizes Islamic teachings in community life. The introduction highlights Indonesia's position as the world's largest Muslim-majority country, with a history of Islamic organizations such as Muhammadiyah, founded to purify Islamic teachings based on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith, while facing challenges from the interaction between religion and local culture, often regarded as bid'ah (innovation in religion) or takhayul (superstition). The main challenge is how Muhammadiyah selects, assimilates, and integrates local culture so that Islamic teachings are not merely theoretical but relevant to the socio-cultural context. This study employs a library research approach, analyzing reliable sources to provide a comprehensive understanding. The research results define culture as a complex construct involving human thoughts, customs, and habits, while Islam is viewed as a universal teaching that regulates relationships between humans, God, fellow beings, and nature. Muhammadiyah's perspective sees religion as complete and perfect, which must be contextualized with contemporary developments, while culture is recognized as part of human nature that needs to be selected to align with Islamic law (syariat). Integration is carried out through principles of selecting positive cultural elements, adaptation, and using arts and culture as a medium for da'wah (Islamic propagation), grounded in the principle of "al-muhafazhah ‘ala al-qadim al-shâlih wa al-akhdu bi al-jadîd al-ashlah" (preserving good traditions and adopting better innovations).
