Abstract

Conventional learning that is too teacher-centered has an impact on the lack of development of student learning independence. This study analyzes the need for the importance of model development in learning. This type of quantitative descriptive research is in the Preliminary Study phase of the Plomp R&D model. The population is students at PTKI in East Kalimantan. Data collection through a survey of 87 respondents, interviews, and document studies which were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed that ongoing learning has not encouraged learning independence with the achievement level of respondents Strongly Agree 34.3%, Agree 31.7%, Disagree 26.3% and Disagree 7.7%, while on the aspect of using IT in learning respondents rate Strongly Agree by 35.4%, Agree 29.1%, Less Agree 27%, Disagree 8.4%. From the results of analysis and statistical tests obtained results of 0.2 > 0.05 (data normally distributed), linearity test results of 0.177 > 0.05, t test results 0.00 <0.05, validity test results on variables x,y > 0.2108, and reliability tests of 0.626> 0.600. It can be concluded that the development of an LMS-based learning model with a scientific approach to increase student learning independence is necessary and feasible to develop.

Abstract

This study aims to determine strategy of da'wah to non-Muslims contained in Tafsīr Marāḥ Labīd by Nawawī al-Jāwī. Da'wah activities carried out against non-Muslims are always aimed at inviting them to convert Islam. This is contrary to the messages contained in the Qur'an and the values of religious freedom guaranteed by the state. This study uses a qualitative method with data analysis using content analysis. This study concludes that da'wah to non-Muslims in Nawawi's view is not in the form of an effort to invite them to Islam, but the delivery of a message to well behaved. The issue of faith, in Nawawi's view, is a guide that can only be given by God. In order for the message of da'wah to be conveyed, Nawawi emphasizes the da'wah method used that is not violent. This prohibition is absolute, except in the process the preacher experiences threats that can interfere with faith. However, Nawawī emphasized that if this happens and it is possible to avoid it, then a preacher is advised to avoid and not to resort to violence. In this context, Nawawī also prohibits acts of da'wah in the name of jihad in the form of violence.

Abstract

This article examines the causes of divorce in Lhokseumawe, Aceh which is known for its strong Islamic cultural tradition. The research method uses the principles of the phenomenological research paradigm. Primary data was obtained from the results of ethnographic interviews with actors or perpetrators because the focus of this research was directed at tracing the causes and effects of divorce from the perspective of the perpetrators or actors. While secondary data is several kinds of literature related to the research focus. The results showed that several factors cause divorce, namely; differences in character between partners, failure to understand each other, and husband's sexual behavior disorders. The impact of divorce can befall the child and each partner, especially the psychological impact. Similarly, the impact of divorce for couples who already have children with those who do not. For couples who already have children, the impact is wider and inner. Furthermore, efforts to form a divorce can be carried out with several recommendations, First, every couple who will get married must know their potential partner well to their sexual behavior, Second, build a shared commitment about where to go and the desired family model. Third, mutual trust, respect, and support. Fourth, provide good service to partners. Fifth, do not let the small problems that arise in marriage in a long time. Sixth, avoid third-party intervention. Seventh, building a sakinah family requires not only the unity of body and soul but also the same place to live.

Abstract

This research is a study of the role and influence of a village leader, namely Kyai Nurjalipah. The aim of this research is to explain the origins of Kyai Nurjalipah, his role and his influence in the field of state administration of the Perdikan Pakuncen Village in 1651-1760. The method used in this research is a historical research method by utilizing oral data sources through interviews and library sources. The results of this research showed that there is a close connection between Kyai Nurjalipah and the field of state administration of the Pakuncen Village. Kyai Nurjalipah can be said to be the 'owner' of the Pakuncen land because he was the person who opened that residential land. The development of Pakuncen Village is also inseparable from the role and influence of Kyai Nurjalipah, starting from his role as a spreader of Islam in the village, making Pakuncen as an important area of the Kadipaten Posono, his agreement with Mataram Palace that resulted in the changing status of the pakuncen into a perdikan land, until making policies to regulate villagers, which greatly affected the form of government, the condition of the population and culture of the village community at that time.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and test an assessment model for Islamic moderation understanding of Islamic higher education (PTKI) students. The assessment model was developed based on the dimensions of Islamic moderation understanding which includes the dimensions of conceptual understanding, functional understanding, and procedural understanding. The subjects were students of Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris State Islamic University Samarinda, Tarbiyah College Balikpapan, and Islamic College Sangatta, with a total of 224 students. The data collection instrument used was a test instrument. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Confirmatory Factor Analysis technique with the LISREL 8.51 program. The results of the data analysis show that the assessment model developed for Islamic Moderation understanding of PTKI students has very good validity and reliability. All item items have a factor loading value of > 0.3 and the assessment model has a Goodness of Fit Index (GFI) > 0.90. Thus, the assessment model for Islamic moderation understanding is very appropriate to be used as a reference for further research because theoretically, it is in accordance with empirical data obtained from subjects in the field.

Abstract

Ciri khas dari organisasi Islam Al Washliyah adalah lembaga pendidikannya yang berorientasi pada tradisi keulamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis revitalisasi kurikulum lembaga pendidikan Al Washliyah dalam melahirkan ulama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif lapangan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Al Washliyah secara khusus telah mendirikan lembaga Pendidikan Kader Ulama (PKU) yang dikelola oleh Fakultas Agama Islam UNIVA Medan. Kurikulum yang diterapkan adalah dengan tetap memelihara kurikulum pendidikan Al Washliyah dimasa lalu yang dominasi pelajaran agama ditambah dengan pelajaran umum sesuai dengan kurikulum pendidikan nasional yang berlaku. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah dengan mengkombinasikan metode moderen dan klasik (kitab kuning dan halaqah).

Abstract

Fintech is currently part of the development of takaful, the results of research and studies related to this problem are still very limited, on the other hand all financial services industries are starting to shift to fintech, including the Islamic financial services industry. So it is necessary to explore the potential use of fintech in the sharia insurance industry, especially in terms of opportunities and challenges in the future. In particular, big data analytics and robo-advisory are explored and how takaful operators can combine them for better customer experience and gathering competitive intelligence. To stay competitive in a rapidly changing business environment, takaful operators need to identify and adopt fintechs that can positively impact customer experience and optimize cost efficiency.

Abstract

The education system at the tahfiz Islamic boarding school is the same as the Islamic boarding school education system in general, namely there is a curriculum, learning methods, places of study and so on, it's just that there are differences from one hut to another so that it has its own uniqueness in observing it. This study aims to explain and analyze the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Curriculum in South Kalimantan. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. There are several tahfiz Islamic boarding schools in South Kalimantan which are the research locations. The findings in this study are that the curriculum in each typology (model) of the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an pesantren has differences. Even within one typology there are some minor differences in the curriculum implemented by the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an pesantren. However, the similarity in the elements of implementing tahfiz Al-Qur'an education makes it found that differences in one typology or model of Islamic boarding school become very minor. In the first typology (model A), the tahfiz Al-Qur'an pesantren curriculum is formulated to support the main program, namely memorizing 30 chapters of the Al-Qur'an. While tahfiz Al-Qurʹan Islamic boarding schools are in model B, it is found that the Al-Qurʹan educational curriculum allocates more time for the tahfiz Al-Qurʹan program, in addition to implementing the existing formal curriculum from the ministry of religion at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) and and Madrasah Aliyah (MA).

Abstract

One of the stigma and prejudice on people with disabilities arise in the educational setting, madrasah as Islamic educational institutions have contributed to exclusion and marginalization of muslim student with disabilities. Referring to the source from the education Management information System (EMIS) of The Kementerian Agama of the Republic of Indonesia in 2021 its shows the number of Madrasah in Indonesia 83,648 madrasah, there are only several of madrasah that have implemented inclusive madrasah. This paper focuses on inclusive education in the context of Islamic educational institutions in madrasah, which is related to policies, concepts, and practices. Concepts and practices that have been carried out by a number of madrasah that provide inclusive education grow and develop bottom-up from practitioners and parents who have children with disabilities, and have been carried out by a number of madrasah that provide inclusive education grow and develop top down The Kementerian Agama of the Republic of Indonesia appointed several madrasas as piloting projects for inclusive madrasah. This article attempts to review various studies regarding inclusive madrasah in Indonesia as the concepts, approaches and policies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and find out the management of waqf in an effort to effectively empower the socio-economic community of the city of Medan. The type of research used is field research (field research) with a qualitative descriptive approach which describes data and information based on data obtained in the field. In this case the author conducted a case study on 3 foundations, namely the H. Anif Foundation, the Al-Jihad Mosque Foundation , and the Ar-Raudatul Hasanah Foundation. The results of the research showed that the implementation of productive waqf management in Medan was a case study of 3 foundations, only 2 foundations had productive waqf and 1 still emphasized infaq and alms. 2 foundations that have productive endowments emphasize social and economic aspects.
