Abstract

Cognitive enhancement is an effort to improve or improve mental functions such as memory, attention, problem solving, language, and other thinking skills. In healthy adults, the goal of cognitive enhancement is to improve current mental abilities, increase productivity, and prolong periods of mental clarity. This research was conducted with the aim of exploring various non-invasive brain stimulation techniques such as tDCS, TMS, and tACS, which offer innovative ways to improve various aspects of cognitive function without the need for invasive procedures. While there are many potential benefits, it is important to understand the long-term effects, optimize use methods, and ensure use of this technology is safe and ethical. The method used by researchers in researching Cognitive Improvement Through Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation Techniques in Healthy Adults is to use a quantitative method. The data obtained by researchers was obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires. The distribution of questionnaires carried out by researchers was carried out online using Google From software. The results of data acquisition will also be tested again using the SPSS application. From the research results, it can be seen that this research is an interesting and continuously developing field in neuroscience and psychology today. With non-invasive brain stimulation techniques, it is possible to stimulate certain areas of the brain, thereby further improving cognitive functions such as memory, attention and problem solving in healthy adults. From this study, researchers can conclude that non-invasive brain stimulation, such as repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), has been proven to improve motor and cognitive function in healthy adults. Recent research shows that tDCS can modulate the brain's motor cortex, which functions to increase intelligence in healthy adults.

Abstract

Many people around the world experience chronic anxiety, which is a mental health problem. This condition is characterized by excessive and ongoing worry, often for no apparent reason, which can interfere with daily life. Virtual reality (VR) therapy is one of the innovative approaches to treating mental health conditions in recent years thanks to advances in technology. This research was conducted with the aim of finding out, such as the realism of the virtual environment, interactivity, and length of exposure, some of the elements of virtual therapy that are most helpful in reducing anxiety. In addition, to identify topics that require additional research to increase empirical evidence on the effects of virtual reality therapy, as well as encourage long-term research to evaluate the long-term impact of virtual reality therapy on chronic anxiety. The method used by researchers in researching the Impact of Virtual Reality Therapy in Managing Chronic Anxiety in Clinical Psychology is to use a quantitative method. The data obtained by researchers was obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires. The distribution of questionnaires carried out by researchers was carried out online using Google From software. The results of data acquisition will also be tested again using the SPSS application. From the research results, it can be seen that studies have shown quite positive results regarding virtual reality (VR) therapy in the treatment of chronic anxiety. It is used as part of exposure therapy, where a person is gradually exposed to anxiety-inducing stimuli in a safe and controlled virtual environment. It is excellent for treating phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other anxieties. From this study, researchers can conclude that virtual reality (VR) therapy can be an effective treatment for anxiety. A person receiving VR therapy has the opportunity to confront and manage anxiety triggers in a controlled and safe environment, which helps them develop resilience and coping skills.

Abstract

Parental involvement has long been recognized as a crucial factor in enhancing students’ academic achievement. However, its impact in rural areas, where access to educational resources and parental education levels may differ significantly from urban settings, remains underexplored. This study examines the relationship between parental involvement and students’ academic performance in rural areas, aiming to identify specific parental behaviors that influence academic success in these communities. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews. The survey, conducted with 200 parents and 200 students from rural schools, measured levels of parental involvement across various domains, including homework support, communication with teachers, and participation in school activities. Academic achievement was assessed using students’ GPA scores. The results indicated a strong positive correlation between parental involvement and students’ academic performance, with homework support and teacher communication emerging as the most significant factors. Qualitative data revealed that parents’ limited educational backgrounds and work schedules posed challenges to involvement, yet many expressed a commitment to supporting their children’s education. The study concludes that increasing parental engagement in rural areas can significantly improve students’ academic outcomes. Interventions aimed at providing support and resources for parents in these areas are essential for fostering better educational environments.

Abstract

In the context of modern organizations, leadership and employee loyalty are interrelated factors that significantly impact optimal performance. This systematic review examines the relationship between servant leadership (SL) and employee loyalty, highlighting how SL prioritizes employee well-being compared to traditional power-oriented leadership models. The study identifies that effective servant leadership fosters a supportive environment, enhances individual growth, and ultimately contributes to improved organizational performance. Employee loyalty, characterized by commitment and emotional attachment to the organization, plays a crucial role in maintaining stability and efficiency within the company. This review synthesizes existing literature to explore how servant leadership can concretely influence employee loyalty through mechanisms such as empowerment and job satisfaction. The findings suggest that while employee satisfaction serves as a mediator in this relationship, other factors also play significant roles. This research aims to provide deeper insights into how servant leadership can cultivate stronger loyalty in the workplace, thereby enhancing overall organizational performance.
