Abstract

This study aims to develop, validate, and evaluate the practicality and effectiveness of Quizizz Paper Mode as an interactive learning medium for fourth-grade Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) in elementary schools. The research employed the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data were collected through observations, interviews, expert validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and learning outcome assessments. The study was conducted in three elementary schools: SDN 07, SDN 02, and SDN 16 Sungai Aur. Validation results from media, material, and language experts produced an average score of 90%, categorizing the media as very valid. Practicality tests involving teachers and students indicated high usability with percentages ranging from 92.5% to 95%. Effectiveness was measured through pre-test and post-test results analyzed using the N-Gain formula, showing substantial improvements with N-Gain scores of 0.77, 0.80, and 0.89, all classified as high. The findings demonstrate that Quizizz Paper Mode is valid, practical, and effective in improving student engagement, motivation, and understanding in IPAS learning. It is recommended as an interactive learning tool to support meaningful learning experiences in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low use of interactive learning media in Mathematics learning and the limited teaching materials that can facilitate students to learn independently and interestingly. The purpose of this research is to produce interactive teaching materials based on the Flip PDF Corporate Edition application for Mathematics learning for grade IV elementary school that are valid, practical, and effective, and to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the teaching materials developed. This type of research is a development research (R&D) using the ADDIE model. Expert validators are 3 experts (media experts, material experts, and language experts), 3 teachers, and grade IV students at SDN 06 Cimparuh and SDN 16 Cimparuh. The validation results show a validity level of 93.75% from media experts, 88.63% from material experts, and 90.6% from language experts, all of which are included in the "very valid" category. Based on the results of teacher and student responses, it is known that the percentage of practicality of teaching materials at SDN 06 Cimparuh reached 92.15% student responses and 95.8% teacher responses, while at SDN 16 Cimparuh 95.35% student responses and 91.6% teacher responses. In addition, the results of the effectiveness test showed an N-Gain value of 0.8054 at SDN 06 Cimparuh and 0.7825 at SDN 16 Cimparuh, including the high category. Thus, it can be concluded that interactive teaching materials based on Flip PDF Corporate Edition are valid, practical, and effective for use in learning Mathematics for grade IV elementary school.

Abstract

This study explores the development of Pancasila student profiles by highlighting Bung Hatta's noble values in terms of manners through inspirational stories in Indonesian elementary schools. As one of the founders of the Indonesian nation, Bung Hatta exemplifies moral values that are in line with the goals of character building embedded in the national education curriculum. This study aims to analyze how his stories can serve as effective pedagogical tools in instilling polite behaviors-an important aspect of the first and second principles of Pancasila among young learners. Qualitative descriptive methods were used to collect and analyze data from classroom observations, teacher interviews, and document reviews in several elementary schools in West Sumatra. The results indicate that integrating Bung Hatta's life story into classroom instruction significantly improved students' understanding and internalization of values related to manners such as respect, humility, and social responsibility. Teachers also reported that the use of local historical figures increased students' engagement and cultural pride. This study concludes that character education based on national role models such as Bung Hatta not only strengthens Pancasila values but also makes moral learning more relevant and impactful for elementary school students.

Abstract

Understanding the development of children's fine motor skills through the use of colored sand media is crucial for teachers when providing stimuli to students. When learning with colored sand, children can enhance their imagination and exercise greater freedom in developing their physical fine motor skills. Utilizing colored sand media to develop fine motor skills in early childhood is a viable strategy, as it facilitates easier learning and practice for the children. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of colored sand media on children's fine motor development. This study employed a quantitative method with a descriptive experimental design. The subjects were 15 students from Group B at TK YPPI Donggala. Based on the results prior to the treatment, the data showed Very Well Developed (BSB) at 2.22%, Developed as Expected (BSH) at 11.11%, Starting to Develop (MB) at 55.56%, and Undeveloped (BB) at 31.11%. Conversely, the results after the treatment showed Very Well Developed (BSB) at 26.67%, Developed as Expected (BSH) at 53.33%, Starting to Develop (MB) at 20.00%, and Undeveloped (BB) at 0.00%. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using percentage techniques and t-tests. The t-test results indicated a calculated t-value of 7.436 with a significance of 0.00. Since the significance value is less than 0.05, it is concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This indicates that the colored sand media method has a significant effect on the fine motor development of children in Group B at TK YPPI Donggala.

Abstract

Normative commitment plays an important role in shaping teachers’ loyalty and responsibility to their institutions. Differences in commitment levels are often influenced by school culture, teamwork, and individual work motivation. This study aims to analyze the influence of these three factors on the normative commitment of public senior and vocational high school teachers in Teluk Batang District. The research used a quantitative approach with an associative design. The sample consisted of 65 teachers 24 civil servants and 41 non-civil servants who had taught for at least one year. Because the population was fewer than 100 individuals, total sampling was applied. Data were gathered through questionnaires and analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression with SPSS version 31. The results show that school culture significantly influences normative commitment with a contribution of 52.7%. Teamwork also has a significant effect, contributing 19.7%, while work motivation contributes 28.6%. Simultaneously, the three variables show a combined influence of 85.8% on normative commitment. In conclusion, school culture, teamwork, and work motivation each play a meaningful role in strengthening teachers’ normative commitment. Strengthening these aspects should be prioritized in school management to reinforce teachers’ loyalty and sense of responsibility.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has transformed the paradigm of language learning, including Arabic, from conventional methods toward a more interactive, social media based approach. Instagram, as one of the most popular platforms, is now utilized by Arabic language educators to deliver learning materials in a creative and engaging way. This study aims to analyze Arabic learning content posted by the Instagram account @juniati_siregar, focusing on content presentation strategies, linguistic aspects, and audience engagement. The research employs a qualitative descriptive content analysis method, with data collected through observation of posts published between January and July 2025. The results indicate that the content produced by Juniati Siregar predominantly features themes of vocabulary (mufradāt), daily expressions (ta‘bīrāt), and basic grammar (nahwu-ṣaraf), which are presented attractively through visual illustrations, bilingual captions (Arabic-Indonesian), and pronunciation audios. The strategic use of reels and infographics effectively enhances follower interaction, particularly in posts that demonstrate language use in communicative contexts. In conclusion, the @juniati_siregar account successfully offers an adaptive model for Arabic language learning in the digital era through an edutainment approach, serving as a valuable reference for teachers and learners in optimizing social media as a platform for independent and collaborative learning.

Abstract

Mathematics learning requires learning media as a supplement because it is difficult to understand only through books. This study developed counting box media for first grade students at MI Miftahul Ulum Sampangan Muncar Banyuwangi with the following research questions: 1) How is the counting box media developed? 2) How feasible is this media? Therefore, the researcher took the title "Development of Media Counting Box in Mathematics Subjects in Mathematics Subjects for Grade 1 Students of MI Miftahul Ulum Sampangan Muncar Banyuwangi. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data used are qualitative and quantitative data. The results of the study show that the counting box learning media meets the feasibility criteria from expert testing. Media expert validation reached 94%, material experts 91%, and learning experts 98%. The overall average percentage of expert validation was 94% with valid qualifications and feasible for use as mathematics learning media in grade 1 at MI Miftahul Ulum Sampangan Muncar Banyuwangi.

Abstract

This study examined the effectiveness of the educational game Wordwall in improving students’ learning outcomes in fraction topics among fifth-grade students at Public Elementary School 6 Ketol, Central Aceh, Indonesia. A quantitative approach with a One-Shot Case Study design was employed, involving 37 students as participants. Data were collected through a learning achievement tes. Descriptive statistics, normality tests, and a one-sample t-test were used for data analysis. The mean post-test score was 7.13, slightly above the Minimum Mastery Criterion (KKM) of 7, although the difference was not statistically significant (p = 0.603 > 0.05). These results suggest that while Wordwall did not significantly improve test scores, it successfully enhanced motivation, discipline, and active participation in learning. Therefore, the Wordwall educational game can be considered an innovative and engaging digital tool for enhancing both cognitive and affective aspects of elementary mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of interactive media based on Augmented Reality (AR) in Mathematics learning on spatial geometry material in fifth grade elementary schools. The development of this media uses a 4D development model consisting of four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. In the Define stage, a needs analysis is conducted through observation and interviews with teachers to identify obstacles in Mathematics learning. The Design stage includes designing the AR media display and compiling spatial geometry materials according to student characteristics. The Develop stage includes the creation and validation of the media by material experts, language experts, and media experts, which resulted in validation scores of 96.42%, 93.75%, and 95.83%, respectively, with a very valid category. The Disseminate stage was conducted through trials at SDN 10 Koto Tinggi Surian and SDN 08 Tambang Surian to measure the practicality and effectiveness of the media. The results of the practicality test showed a student response of 91.67% and a teacher response of 94.15%, with a very practical category. Meanwhile, the results of the effectiveness test using the N-Gain Score analysis showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with an average score of 0.74 at SDN 10 Koto Tinggi Surian and 0.71 at SDN 08 Tambang Surian, which are in the high category. Thus, the AR-based interactive media developed using the 4D model has proven valid, practical, and effective in improving understanding of spatial concepts and supporting the implementation of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

This qualitative study investigates the implementation and effectiveness of the Zahrawain method for Quranic memorization (tahfidz) in three Islamic elementary schools in Central Java, involving teachers, students, and parents as participants. The study highlights the importance of innovative memorization techniques for young learners and aims to describe how the Zahrawain method is applied, identify its supporting and inhibiting factors, and evaluate its impact on students’ memorization ability. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The findings show that the Zahrawain method, which integrates audio-visual media and repetitive talqin, results in an average memorization rate of 5–7 verses per month, with 70% of students successfully meeting their targets. Supporting factors include teacher competence in tajwid, parental involvement, and adequate technological access, while challenges arise from students’ concentration difficulties and limited resources in certain areas. The study concludes that the Zahrawain method has strong potential to enhance tahfidz learning when accompanied by structured teacher training and equitable resource support. This research contributes empirical evidence for a multisensory memorization approach aligned with contemporary pedagogical practices.
