Abstract

This research aims to describe the change management of the Tahfidz Khairunnas Sreseh Sampang Islamic Boarding School which includes planning, implementation and control systems. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data sources were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Informants include the Islamic boarding school manager, dormitory head/caretaker, and mudabbir. Meanwhile, data analysis is carried out through condensation, presentation and conclusions. The results of this research show that the planning for changes to the Tahfidz Khairunnas Islamic boarding school includes planning for takhassus and non-takhassus programs, student targets that are clearly arranged in the Sikhair application system, financing with two types, namely regular and scholarships, sophisticated teaching and learning facilities such as tablets and projectors, a clear vision and mission. created from the center, as well as gel system planning. The implementation of changes in Islamic boarding schools includes the implementation of the vision and mission carried out with collaboration (internal and external), the use of the tasmi', ziyadah and murojaah curriculum, and the application of the cultures found in Islamic boarding schools. Meanwhile, controlling changes in Islamic boarding schools is by implementing the Trello application as a performance control system, implementing the Sikhair application, and holding regular ten-minute meetings every day.

Abstract

Character education is the main foundation in shaping the personality and morals of the younger generation in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with field studies to understand and describe the process of character building at this madrasah. The research findings indicate that the implementation of Islamic religious education policies at MA Darul Amin plays a significant role in enhancing the students' religious character and noble morals. Programs such as daily worship routines, character education based on Islamic values, Islamic extracurricular activities, and an Islamic school environment contribute to the character formation of students. Strengthening the role of teachers as role models and collaboration with parents and the community are also key factors in the success of this program. This study found that Islamic religious education at MA Darul Amin not only enhances students' spirituality but also strengthens their social awareness. The implementation of this policy shapes students who not only excel academically but also possess good character and are ready to contribute positively to society. This research contributes to the development of Islamic religious education policies in Southeast Aceh and the improvement of the quality of education at MA Darul Amin Kutacane.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen kepemimpinan lembaga pendidikan Islam di MA Unggulan K.H. Abdul Wahab Hasbullah Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif, deskriptif-naratif, dan teks bacaan yang berkaitan dengan data yang dibutuhkan merupakan metode yang dimanfaatkan untuk mengumpulkan data. Triangulasi, pencocokan teori dan sumber, prosedur, dan hasil observasi semuanya digunakan dalam keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kepemimpinan di MA Unggulan K.H. Abdul Wahab Hasbullah Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang berfokus pada peningkatan kinerja dan pengembangan lembaga pendidikan melalui kegiatan seperti rapat evaluasi, workshop, dan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi karyawan. Kepemimpinan di MA Unggulan K.H. Abdul Wahab Hasbullah Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang bersifat demokratis dan persuasif, di mana keputusan diambil melalui musyawarah, tetapi ada kalanya kepala madrasah harus mengambil keputusan sepihak, juga dalam pembuat keputusan atau penentu keputusan tertinggi tetap di pegang oleh seorang kepala madrasah.

Abstract

The phenomenon of stress in life cannot be avoided, including in the scope of the school organization. Stress can give positive and negative impacts in the organizational cycle caused by individuals. The positive impact (eustress) creates a constructive and healthy effect, while the negative impact (distress) causes destructive effect, one of the behaviors that emerges is stress. Therefore management is needed in dealing with stress that occurs within the scope of the school organization. Appropriate stress management can motivate individuals and provide positive stigma, thereby giving to positive affirmative behavior. Positive behavior in school organizations; structure, culture, processes, leadership and other organizational conditions. The goal of writing this article is to describe stress management as an effort to create positive affirmative behavior in school organizations. The research method utilize library research. The outcome of the study explained that stress management can create positive affirmative behavior within the scope of the school organization, as well as supporting material for achieving school organizational goals, so that efforts to build positive behavior can create a conducive climate in realizing organizational goals.

Abstract

The Sumber Payung Ganding Sumenep Islamic Boarding School consists of five branches: Al Afiqi, Al Hasyimi, Babussalam, As Syukri, and Attabrani. However, the lack of understanding regarding internal and external dynamics affects the effectiveness of collaboration among leaders. This study aims to examine the leadership model, leadership functions, and collective leadership characteristics at Sumber Payung Islamic Boarding School. The approach used is qualitative, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings show that, first, Sumber Payung Islamic Boarding School implements a collective leadership model based on consensus, with variations in implementation across the branches. Second, leadership functions to enhance transparency, resolution accuracy, and more effective conflict management across all branches of the boarding school. Third, the characteristics of collective leadership vary according to the organizational structure and the involvement of leaders, with some branches demonstrating higher effectiveness due to structured management and strong external collaboration. The benefits of this study can provide insights into the application of collective leadership in improving the management of Islamic boarding schools more effectively.

Abstract

Rencana Aksi Nasional Hak Asasi Manusia (RANHAM) merupakan sebuah dokumen khusus yang menguraikan arah dan fokus dalam memastikan penghormatan, pemenuhan, perlindungan, peningkatan, dan penegakan Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) di seluruh wilayah Negara, baik di tingkat Pemerintah Pusat maupun Daerah. Pedoman ini diharapkan dapat memberikan panduan yang lebih rinci kepada Pemerintah Daerah dalam melaksanakan Aksi HAM dan sekaligus dalam pelaporan Aksi tersebut. Pendidikan inklusif merupakan sarana implementasi yang penting. Pendidikan inklusif merupakan pendekatan yang memperhatikan keberagaman setiap individu tanpa kecuali. Dengan diperkenalkannya konsep inklusi pada pendidikan menengah di Provinsi Jawa Timur, dapat membuka kesempatan bagi seluruh siswa untuk belajar dan berkembang tanpa diskriminasi. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode ini digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen terkait implementasi RANHAM di jenjang pendidikan menengah. Subjek penelitian akan melibatkan para pemangku kepentingan terkait pendidikan inklusif di jenjang pendidikan menengah. Lokasi penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan di beberapa sekolah menengah di Provinsi Jawa Timur yang telah menerapkan pendidikan inklusif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa anak berkebutuhan khusus mendapatkan akses terhadap pendidikan formal. Tingkat pendidikan tertinggi yang diselesaikan oleh siswa inklusif juga semakin meningkat, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan inklusif tidak hanya memberikan akses, namun memungkinkan siswa untuk menyelesaikan pendidikannya pada jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Rata-rata lama bersekolah siswa inklusif juga mengalami peningkatan, yang menunjukkan bahwa anak berkebutuhan khusus mempunyai kemungkinan lebih besar untuk bersekolah lebih lama dan menerima pendidikan yang lebih inklusif. Abstract

The recruitment system for quality educators is an important aspect of supporting the vision and mission of the school. However, in practice, the recruitment process is sometimes far from optimal. This study examines the recruitment system for educators and education staff, as well as the supporting and hindering factors at SD Islamic Center Kota Samarinda. The method used is field research with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results show that the recruitment process at SD Islamic Center Kota Samarinda involves coordination with the foundation, preparation of guidelines, and strict selection to produce quality educators to support the school's vision and mission. Supporting factors for recruitment include coordination with the foundation, setting standards for applicants, and strict selection, while the main obstacles are applicants who do not meet qualifications and lack discipline. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the educator recruitment system, help the school and foundation improve recruitment effectiveness, and provide policy guidelines for designing a recruitment process that meets the needs of educational institutions.

Abstract

In Islamic education, building relationships between human resources is the most important thing to create a harmonious climate and efforts to achieve institutional goals. The aim is to explore the management efforts made by school principals in building human resource relationships. The method used is a library research method. The primary data is a study of school principal management and building HR relationships, while secondary data is obtained from supporting literature related to the context of this research. Then, the analysis process goes through the stages of sorting and selecting (reduction), presenting it (presentation), and drawing conclusions (conclusions). This research found that school principals in building relationships between human resources were studied in two ways, including: 1) The process of building relationships between teachers can be done by emphasizing communication between teachers through coordination in every educational activity. 2) Building relationships between teachers and students can be done through a management process which includes planning, organizing, mobilizing and controlling, which is included in every institutional activity, such as in activities with a socio-emotional approach or a religious approach.

Abstract

This study examines the administrative governance of personnel in improving the effectiveness of the work of education personnel and teachers at the Al-Zahrah Modern Islamic Boarding School. The purpose of this study is to determine, explain, and analyze the implementation of administrative governance in the field of personnel at the Al-Zahrah Modern Islamic Boarding School. This type of research uses a qualitative method, the primary data source is obtained from the object of research, namely the Al-Zahrah Modern Islamic Boarding School. Data analysis uses triangulation. The results of the study indicate that: the implementation of administrative governance in the field of personnel has accessibility and linearity with the foundation's big data, the data will be used to improve performance with equal evaluative steps in empowering and utilizing education personnel and teachers who are employees of the Al-Zahrah Modern Islamic Boarding School, the challenges and obstacles are in the partialization of administration towards teachers who are seconded from related agencies, while the indicator of work effectiveness has a time duration instrument that has been systematically patterned as a target for achieving performance effectiveness based on a long-term deadline, namely short, medium and long duration.

Abstract

Competency-based educational management emphasizes the importance of well-planned and sustainable human resource management to achieve optimal educational goals. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of teacher competency development management in the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) based on competency-based educational management theory. The research employs a mixed-methods approach with an evaluative design. The subjects consist of 20 teachers from SD Negeri 01 Bermani Ilir, SD Negeri 19 Kepahiang, SD Negeri 01 Kepahiang, SD Negeri 15 Kepahiang, SMP Negeri 2 Kepahiang, SMP Negeri 1 Kepahiang, and SMP Negeri 2 Tebat Karai. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, competency tests, and document analysis, and subsequently analyzed using descriptive statistics and thematic analysis. The results reveal that the effectiveness of teacher competency development management has not yet reached an optimal level. A total of 60% of teachers rated the training management as moderately effective, while 40% considered it less effective. Identified challenges include a lack of practice-based training, limited facilities, and high administrative workloads. Teachers with strong management support showed improvements in understanding and implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka, although maintaining consistency remains a challenge. This study concludes that teacher competency development management needs enhancement through more relevant training, strengthened supervision by school principals, improved access to technology, and more efficient management of administrative workloads. These strategic recommendations are expected to support the successful and optimal implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka.
