EDU RESEARCH : Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh IICLS (Indonesian Institute for Corporate Learning and Studies), dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian serta sharing perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Jurnal ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan, artikel telaah yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan proses pembelajaran. Informasi mengenai pedoman penulisan artikel dan prosedur pengiriman artikel terdapat pada setiap penerbitan. Semua artikel yang masuk akan melalui ‘peer-review process’ setelah memenuhi persyaratan sesuai pedoman penulisan artikel. Penerbitan jurnal ini dilakukan sebanyak tiga bulan sekali yaitu pada bulan Maret, Juni, September, dan Desember.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of diction in news texts written by class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Tarab. Diction is an important aspect in news texts because it determines the clarity, accuracy and effectiveness of the information conveyed. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was obtained from 22 news texts consisting of 63 paragraphs and 2,196 words. The research results show that in general students have been able to choose the right diction in writing news texts, with 1,821 words categorized as appropriate, 1,738 words accurate, and 1,380 words appropriate to the context of their use. However, errors were still found in word selection, where there were 375 inappropriate words, 458 inaccurate words, and 816 inappropriate words in the text analyzed.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in sports coaching education. Coaches are required to adapt to the latest strategies to improve training effectiveness and athlete development. This article discusses modern strategies in sports coaching education, including the utilization of digital technology, data-driven approaches, and innovations in training methods. Digital transformation allows coaches to access and analyze athlete performance data in real-time, utilize artificial intelligence in decision-making, and optimize communication and learning through digital platforms. In addition, sport psychology-based approaches and adaptive leadership are important aspects in building excellent coaches in the digital era. The results show that coaches who adopt digital strategies tend to be more effective in improving athlete performance, optimizing training planning, and adjusting learning methods according to individual needs. Thus, sports coaching education must continue to innovate in integrating the latest technology and approaches to create competitive and superior coaches in the digital era.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in employee training and development programs is increasingly becoming a key focus for companies in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of human resources. AI has the ability to analyze performance data, personalize training materials, and provide real-time feedback, thus accelerating the process of improving employee skills. This research aims to analyze the role of AI in optimizing training programs, identifying the benefits and challenges faced in its implementation. The method used in this research is a literature study and secondary data analysis from various previous studies. The results show that the use of AI in employee training can increase engagement, accelerate the learning curve, and enable a data-driven approach to training decision-making. However, challenges such as employee resistance, limited technological infrastructure, and the need for ethical and privacy regulations are still barriers to the widespread application of AI. Therefore, companies need to develop the right strategies in integrating AI into the training system to improve competitiveness and workforce productivity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi guru terhadap implementasi Kurikulum Deep Learning di sekolah menengah. Kurikulum Deep Learning menekankan pemahaman konsep yang mendalam serta kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan kuesioner yang melibatkan 20 guru dari berbagai disiplin ilmu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru memiliki pandangan positif terhadap kurikulum ini, menganggapnya sebagai langkah maju dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam hal pelatihan guru, sumber daya, dan dukungan sekolah yang perlu diatasi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan program pelatihan dan kolaborasi antar guru untuk mengoptimalkan implementasi kurikulum tersebut. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pengambil kebijakan dan lembaga pendidikan dalam mengembangkan kurikulum yang lebih efektif dan relevan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penerapan strategi inklusi di kelas dan mencari solusi untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus di beberapa sekolah inklusif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner yang melibatkan guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan utama meliputi kurangnya pelatihan bagi guru, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan stigma sosial terhadap siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus. Namun, solusi yang diidentifikasi mencakup peningkatan pelatihan profesional, pengembangan materi pembelajaran yang adaptif, serta peningkatan kesadaran dan dukungan dari orang tua dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi pengambil kebijakan dan pendidik untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif dan mendukung bagi semua siswa.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah dasar, dengan fokus pada tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pendidik, siswa, dan pihak sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus di beberapa sekolah dasar yang menerapkan kurikulum tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan utama meliputi kurangnya pemahaman guru mengenai filosofi kurikulum, keterbatasan sumber daya pendidikan, dan resistensi dari orang tua. Namun, solusi yang diusulkan mencakup pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi guru, peningkatan kolaborasi antara pihak sekolah dan orang tua, serta penyediaan materi ajar yang relevan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pengambil kebijakan dan praktisi pendidikan dalam meningkatkan keberhasilan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between family environment and student achievement in secondary schools. Family environment, which includes emotional support, communication, and parental involvement in education, is believed to have a significant influence on students' academic development. The method used in this study was a survey with a sample of 200 students from various socio-economic backgrounds. Data were collected through a questionnaire that measured aspects of the family environment and student achievement as measured by report card scores. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant positive relationship between family environment and student achievement. Students who come from a supportive family environment, with good communication and high parental involvement, tend to have better learning achievement compared to students who come from a less supportive family environment. This finding indicates the importance of the role of the family in the educational process and encourages parents to be actively involved in their children's education. This study concludes that a positive family environment can contribute significantly to student achievement, so it is expected to be a consideration for educators and policy makers in designing interventions that involve parents in children's education.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the effectiveness of online and face-to-face learning in improving students' critical thinking skills. The research method used is a quasi-experiment involving two groups of students from high schools. The first group follows online learning, while the second group follows face-to-face learning. Critical thinking skills data were measured using specially designed tests before and after the learning intervention. The results of the analysis showed that both methods had a positive impact on improving students' critical thinking skills. However, the group that followed face-to-face learning showed a more significant increase than the online group. This finding indicates that direct interaction with teachers and peers in face-to-face learning can strengthen students' critical thinking processes. This study concludes that although online learning has advantages in flexibility, face-to-face learning is more effective in improving critical thinking skills. Recommendations for educators include the use of a combination of both methods to maximize learning outcomes and improve students' critical thinking skills in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence students' learning motivation in the digital era. In the context of education that is increasingly influenced by technology, it is important to understand how elements such as access to technology, social interaction, and learning environment can affect students' motivation. The research method used is quantitative with data collection through questionnaires distributed to students in several high schools. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results of the study indicate that access to information and communication technology (ICT) has a significant positive effect on students' learning motivation. In addition, social interaction between students and teachers and support from parents also contribute to increased motivation. This study provides recommendations for educators and policy makers to create a more supportive learning environment, especially in the use of technology to increase student motivation in the digital era.
