EDU RESEARCH : Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh IICLS (Indonesian Institute for Corporate Learning and Studies), dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian serta sharing perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Jurnal ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan, artikel telaah yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan proses pembelajaran. Informasi mengenai pedoman penulisan artikel dan prosedur pengiriman artikel terdapat pada setiap penerbitan. Semua artikel yang masuk akan melalui ‘peer-review process’ setelah memenuhi persyaratan sesuai pedoman penulisan artikel. Penerbitan jurnal ini dilakukan sebanyak tiga bulan sekali yaitu pada bulan Maret, Juni, September, dan Desember.

Abstract

The creative industry has dynamic characteristics that demand flexibility and constant innovation. Organizational culture transformation is a key factor in creating a work environment that is professional, collaborative, and adaptive to market changes. This research discusses how changes in values, norms, and work practices in organizations can improve professionalism in the creative industry sector. By implementing a culture that is oriented towards innovation, openness and responsibility, companies can increase productivity and competitiveness. This study also examines the challenges and strategies that can be applied in the process of transforming organizational culture to support the sustainable growth of the creative industry.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed various aspects of human life, including education management. This study discusses the shift from conventional administration to total digitalization in education management. The research aims to analyze the impact of digital transformation on efficiency, accessibility, and quality of educational administration. By utilizing qualitative methods, data were collected through literature studies and case studies of educational institutions that have implemented digital systems. The findings indicate that digitalization significantly improves administrative processes, reduces bureaucratic complexity, and enhances the responsiveness of educational institutions. However, challenges such as digital literacy, infrastructure readiness, and data security must be addressed for optimal implementation. This study contributes to the discourse on modern education management by providing insights into best practices and strategies for successful digital transformation. Future research is encouraged to explore the long-term impact of digital education management on learning outcomes and institutional performance.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology, particularly in the field of Big Data, has provided new opportunities to enhance learning processes, including mathematics education. This study explores the utilization of Big Data analytics to analyze and improve mathematics learning outcomes. By processing large-scale educational data, valuable insights can be obtained to identify students' learning patterns, predict academic performance, and develop personalized learning strategies. The research employs a data-driven approach, utilizing machine learning techniques and statistical analysis to examine student performance trends. The findings indicate that the integration of Big Data in mathematics education enables more precise interventions, adaptive learning models, and data-supported decision-making for educators. This research highlights the significance of data analytics in addressing learning challenges, optimizing teaching methodologies, and fostering better educational outcomes. Future studies are recommended to explore more advanced analytical techniques and expand the scope of implementation in various educational settings.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data security, has brought significant legal challenges. While AI offers efficiency and innovation, it also raises concerns about individual rights, privacy, and the adequacy of existing regulations. One of the primary issues is the lack of comprehensive legal frameworks that can keep pace with AI's rapid development. Additionally, accountability for AI-driven decisions remains a legal gray area, especially in cases involving bias or errors. Transparency and ethical considerations must be integrated into AI regulations to ensure fairness and responsibility.Data security is another critical concern in the digital era. The increasing risk of cyberattacks and unauthorized data usage necessitates stringent data protection laws. Regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe and Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law aim to safeguard user data, but enforcement remains a challenge. Furthermore, collaboration between governments and the private sector is essential to create adaptive regulatory frameworks that balance innovation and security. This paper explores the legal dynamics of the digital era by analyzing regulatory challenges related to AI and data security. A flexible and adaptive legal approach is necessary to ensure that technological advancements do not compromise individual rights and security while fostering responsible innovation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by several problems found in the field, including teacher-centered learning, the dominance of lecture methods, and the implementation of group learning that is not optimal. This has an impact on students who feel bored, not confident, and less active in learning. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning using the Numbered Head Together type Cooperative Learning model in class IV of SDN 15 Ulu Gadut, Padang City. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, with 25 students as research subjects. Research data were collected through observation, tests, and non-tests. The results of the study showed an increase in: (1) assessment of teaching modules from cycle I meeting I by 87.5% (C) to 91.7% (B) at meeting II, and increased to 95.83% (A) in cycle II; (2) teacher and student activities in cycle I meeting I were 83.33% (C), increasing to 91.7% (B) in meeting II, and reaching 95.83% (A) in cycle II; (3) learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect in cycle I meeting I were 67.2% (D), increasing to 85.6% (C) in meeting II, and reaching 88% (B) in cycle II; (4) learning outcomes in the skills aspect in cycle I meeting I were 73.9% (D), increasing to 80.5% (C) in meeting II, and reaching 89% (B) in cycle II. The average overall learning outcomes increased from 71.704% (D) in cycle I meeting I to 81.36% (C) in meeting II, and reaching 88.836% (B) in cycle II. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the Numbered Head Together type of Cooperative Learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning in class IV of SDN 15 Ulu Gadut, Padang City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa di kelas X. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung diperoleh informasi bahwa proses pembelajaran matematika masih berpusat pada guru. Sebagian siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Salah satu alternatif yang diduga dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair check. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair check lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional di kelas X SMKN 2 Bukittinggi 2022/2023. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair check lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional di SMKN 2 Bukittinggi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah design pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian The Static Group Comparison. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMKN 2 Bukittinggi yang terdiri atas 3 kelas. Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Random Sampling terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji kesamaan rata-rata pada data populasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X hotel.1 sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan kelas X hotel.2 sebagai kelas Kontrol. Data penelitian hasil kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa diperoleh dari tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh thitung = 3,6252 dan ttabel = 1,67. Karena thitung > ttabel berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima pada taraf nyata α = 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair check lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional di kelas X SMKN 2 Bukittinggi 2022/2023.

Abstract

Fenomena underachiever pada remaja merujuk pada ketidaksesuaian antara potensi akademik dengan pencapaian yang diraih. Ketidaksesuaian ini dapat menghambat perkembangan individu jika tidak segera diatasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab, dampak, dan peran guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) dalam mengatasi fenomena ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah library research dengan menganalisis 15 artikel ilmiah dari jurnal terakreditasi SINTA dalam 10 tahun terakhir (2016-2025). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa underachiever disebabkan oleh faktor internal seperti motivasi rendah, kebiasan malas dan kecemasan. Selain itu faktor eksternal seperti keluarga, sekolah, dan pengaruh teman sebaya juga turut berkontribusi pada fenomena ini. Underachiever tentu dapat berdampak pada penurunan rasa percaya diri dan menghambat perkembangan mereka di masa depan. Guru BK melalui pendekatan konseling clien-centered dan konseling realita diharapkan dapat membantu remaja mengatasi fenomena underachiever sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan kemampuan akademik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen pengembangan guru profesional pada satuan pendidikan di Kabupaten Kerinci. Dalam konteks pendidikan, pengembangan profesional guru menjadi aspek krusial untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pengembangan guru di Kabupaten Kerinci masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk kurangnya pelatihan yang terstruktur, minimnya dukungan dari pemerintah daerah, serta kurangnya kesadaran guru akan pentingnya pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan. Meskipun demikian, terdapat beberapa inisiatif positif yang dilakukan oleh beberapa sekolah dan organisasi pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru melalui program pelatihan dan workshop. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya peningkatan kerjasama antara pemerintah, sekolah, dan lembaga pendidikan dalam merancang dan melaksanakan program pengembangan profesional yang efektif. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian lebih lanjut mencakup eksplorasi lebih mendalam tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan program pengembangan guru serta evaluasi dampaknya terhadap kualitas pendidikan di Kabupaten Kerinci.

Abstract

The integration of deep learning technology into English language education at universities has revolutionized the teaching and learning process. This article explores how deep learning enhances language acquisition by providing personalized learning experiences, automated assessments, and real-time feedback. Deep learning models, such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and neural networks, contribute significantly to improving students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Moreover, adaptive learning systems powered by artificial intelligence enable a more interactive and engaging educational environment. Despite its numerous advantages, challenges such as data privacy, implementation costs, and the need for teacher training must be addressed. This study highlights the potential of deep learning technology in reshaping English language education and suggests strategies for its effective integration in higher education institutions.

Abstract

Digital startups face significant challenges in defining clear and structured goals to achieve sustainable business growth. One method that can be utilized in startup business mentoring is visual coaching, a visual-based approach that helps entrepreneurs understand, formulate, and implement their business goals more effectively. This study aims to analyze the application of visual coaching in the goal-setting process during digital startup business mentoring. The research employs a qualitative approach through case studies of several digital startups that have incorporated visual coaching into their mentoring sessions. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that visual coaching enhances startup founders' understanding of their business objectives in a more systematic and structured manner. The use of visual elements such as mind mapping, flowcharts, and infographics has proven to assist in developing clearer business strategies, increasing team engagement, and accelerating decision-making processes. Furthermore, the application of visual coaching positively impacts motivation and provides greater clarity in the startup's vision when facing business challenges. Therefore, visual coaching can be an effective approach in digital startup business mentoring, particularly in designing and establishing more concrete and measurable goals.
