Abstract

Sebagai upaya dalam menerapkan pertanian yang berkelanjutan, produksi limbah yang dihasilkan oleh komoditas kelapa sawit sangat meresahkan masyarakat, hal ini memberikan dampak yang besar terhadap lingkungan dan pengelolaan lahan perkebunan yang belum efisien. Limbah yang dihasilkan oleh tanaman kelapa sawit terdiri dari pelepah, daun dan bungkil buah, limbah ini mampu memebrikan efek kurang baik bagi lingkungan jika tidak diolah menjadi produk bernilai guna. Dampak yang sering terjadi yaitu polusi yang disebabkan oleh pembakaran limbah kelapa sawit yang sering dkhawatirkan oleh warga setempat dikarenakan asap yang dihasilkan menggangu aktivitas masyarakat. Selain itu jika dibiarkan tanpa adanya pengolahan lanjut akan berdampak pada penecemaran air sumur dan sungai. Namun demikian belum ada dari pihak pemerintah maupun instansi terkait yang memberikan pengarahan kepada petani sawit ataupun kelompok tani tentang pemanfaatan limbah kelapa sawit yang dapat diolah menjadi berbagai jenis produk salah satunya menjadi pakan ternak. Hal ini mendorong kami pihak instansi perguruan tinggi untuk melakukan pengabdian agar permasalahan limbah dari kelapa sawit ini dapat teratasi. Dengan pengakserelasi pembangunan kelapa sawit secara berkelanjutan maka permasalahan tentang limbah yang dihasilkan dapat diatasi dan memberikan nilai tambah kepada pihak kelompok tani makmur. Selama ini permasalahan yang dihadapi dilapangan adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dari pihak masyarakat terkhususnya kelompok tani makmur tentang manfaat dari pelepah dan daun kelapa sawit yang dapat diolah sebagai pakan ternak. Tujuannya adalah mengubah sudut pandang kelompok tani makmur dalam memanfaatkan limbah kelapa sawit, memberikan ketrampilan baru bagi kelompok tani makmur sehingga ketrampilan tersebut dapat diaplikasikan dalam kegiatan yang produktif selain itu juga mampu menambah nilai tambah limbah menjadi pakan ternak. Luaran yang ditargetkan yaitu pihak sasaran memperoleh pengetahuan, ketrampilan dalam mengatasi permasalahan limbah kelapa sawit dan terbentuk suatu produk yang mampu meningkatkan nilai tambah sasaran kelompok tani makmur sehingga nantinya akan mandiri dan diharapkan dapat menambah penghasilan pihak kelompok secara mandiri.

Abstract

Sampah telah menjadi permasalahan nasional sehingga pengelolaannya perlu dilakukan secara komprehensif dan terpadu dari hulu ke hilir agar memberikan manfaat menguntungkan, sehat bagi masyarakat dan aman bagi lingkungan, serta dapat mengubah perilaku masyarakat. Dusun Wonocatur Desa Banguntapan Kapanewon Banguntapan Kabupaten Bantul Yogyakarta memiliki pasar tradisional yang menghasilkan limbah organik yang berlimpah. Permasalahan utama adalah tidak tersedianya fasilitas pengelolaan limbah pasar baik limbah organik maupun limbah anorganik. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk menerapkan bioteknologi budidaya Maggot dan membuat mikrooragnisme local (MOL) dari limbah organik sampah pasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah: Ceramah, diskusi, pelatihan, praktek dan pendampingan. Sampah organik berupa limbah sayur dan buah merupakan nutrisi bagi Maggot, Magot merupakan salah satu serangga potensial berupa Black Soldier Fly atau Lalat Tentara Hitam, Spesies ini diketahui tidak membawa dan atau menularkan penyakit seperti lalat rumah/lalat hijau. Maggot memiliki kelebihan untuk dimanfaatkan, diantaranya mampu menguraikan beragam sampah organik dan  sangat baik sebagai pakan alternatif untuk ikan, unggas dll. Limbah organik sebagai bahan baku untuk membuat mikroorganisme lokal (MOL) karena memiliki kandungan unsur hara dan mikroorganisme pengurai sebagai pupuk hayati, pupuk organik cair yang bermanfaat bagi tanaman. Dari hasil kegiatan dapat disimpulkan, bahwa masyarakat sangat tertarik dengan budidaya maggot dan pupuk organik cair atau MOL.Luaran yang dihasilkan adalah: Bioteknologi budidaya Maggot dan Mikroorganisme Lokal (MOL), Produk turunan Maggot (telur, bibit, fress Maggot, pupa) yang memiliki nilai jual,  pupuk padat kasgot, produk MOL atau pupuk organik cair  yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Pentingsari Tourism Village is one of the tourist villages in Pentingsari, Umbulharjo, Cangkringan, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. Pentingsari Tourism Village has various tourist attractions that target domestic and foreign tourists. However, this tourist village still uses marketing media that has not been digitized. Pentingsari Tourism Village has not maximized the use of social media as a marketing medium in an effort to attract tourists. This community service is carried out through a direct visitation stage followed by the implementation of social media as a promotional tool for Pentingsari Tourism Village. The results obtained, namely the promotional content of Pentingsari Tourism Village, received positive and negative evaluations. Advertisers have applied the AIDA concept to content production, but still lack engagement. In addition, when promotions get a poor response, advertisers need to optimize the marketing funnel in order to increase brand image and engagement rate on the products or services offered.

Abstract

Waste is an unresolved government problem. The largest waste collection site (TPS) in Yogyakarta, TPS Piyungan, is starting to get tired of collecting waste from various corners of Yogyakarta. One of the efforts to overcome this problem, the government instructed the Waste Sorting Movement. Based on the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), the composition of waste in Indonesia is dominated by organic waste, which reaches 57% of the total landfill. Organic waste can be processed by cultivating BSF Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia Illucens). BSF is a black fly whose maggots (larvae) can degrade organic waste. Maggots (maggots) produced from black fly eggs are very active in eating organic waste. This bioconversion process by maggots can degrade waste more quickly, is odorless, and produces organic compost, and the larvae can be a good source of protein for poultry and fish feed. Maggots have the ability to break down organic waste 2 to 5 times their body weight for 24 hours. One kilogram of maggot can consume 2 to 5 kilograms of organic waste per day. Maggots that have become prepupae and BSF fly carcasses can still be used as animal feed because they are rich in protein. The cocoons can also be used as fertilizer. This process was socialized to Sub Urban groups in the Padukuhan Dukuh, Sidoharjo, Ngaglik, Sleman areas, as a response to the unresolved waste problem. Abstract

The development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for Jojorong traditional food has significant potential for strengthening the economic fundamentals of the Banten region. Nevertheless, the majority of Kebantenan culinary MSMEs still encounter various obstacles in business development, especially from the marketing aspect. The digital era of social media marketing (social media marketing) has become the main pillar for culinary MSMEs to expand market coverage by strengthening marketing aspects. In community service in Kadubeuruem Village, Serang Regency which was held on 10th June 2023, assistance was given to the strategy of strengthening the MSME business for traditional Jojorong food through the use of social media as a social media marketing channel. In this assistance, knowledge is provided about techniques for using social media marketing to expand the scope of the original Banten culinary market. The success of this activity can be seen from the Jojorong MSME owners who can take advantage of social media marketing as the best channel to introduce Jojorong traditional food globally. From the results of this activity it is known that strengthening business through social media marketing is the best means of developing Jojorong culinary MSMEs in Kadubeureum Village, Serang Regency.

Abstract

This service activity was carried out to provide knowledge about marketing with digital marketing of arts and culture products by MSMEs in the Tulus­besar village community, Malang district. This activity will start from Sep­tem­ber to October 2023. This activity aims to increase community inde­pendence in running their business and achieving profits. The method for implementing marketing assistance with digital marketing is as follows: 1) Participants are given an understanding of the target market who is inte­rested in arts and culture products; 2) The activity implementation team presents material according to the theme, creates attractive media content through product catalogues; 3) Participants carry out science, technology, social and culture simulations by recording orders and serving purchases through online shop applications on the Shopee and Tokopedia market­places; The imple­mentation of this service with the digital marketing theme consisted of 4 art and culture craftsmen participants who already have micro or medium scale businesses. The results obtained from this activity are the implementation of knowledge, such as multimedia, e-commerce and entrepreneurship, thereby providing benefits to the SME community.

Abstract

According to data from the Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (2022), waste production in Indonesia is around 36 million tons per year and unmanaged waste is around 13.5 tons per year (37.45%). Waste production in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta is around 800 thousand tons per year, and  50.17% of it is household waste. The total volume of waste brought to the Piyungan landfill is around 700 tons/day, around 55 percent of it is organic waste. Each person produces around 0.68 kg of waste per day, so waste management must be the responsibility of all people communities as waste producers. The aim of community service activity is to increase knowledge, skills and motivate also raise awareness of KWT Cabe Rawit members in Jambon Village as partners in processing household waste into eco enzyme and Liquid Organic Fertilizer using the stacked bucket technique, so that it can support the zero waste movement. The implementation methods in community service activities including lectures, training and practice. The outputs that will be produced are publications in national seminar proceedings with ISBN, publications in electronic mass media, books with ISBN, videos, posters and increasing partner empowerment. All members of the KWT Cabe Rawit members in Jambon Village understand and are skilled in making eco enzymes and Liquid Organic Fertilizer from organic household waste and their benefits. The quality of Liquid Organic Fertilizer using the stacked bucket technique is an organic C content of 2.76%, 0.14% total N, C/ N 19.71, P2O5 0.0041 %, K2O 0.023% and pH 5.7. The quality of compost using the stacked bucket technique is organic C content 42.26%, total N 3.67%, C/N 11.51, P2O5 0.39%, K2O 0.17% and pH 6.2 and pH eco enzyme 3 .5Keywords: Eco enzyme, Household waste, Liquid organic fertilizer, Zero waste

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang teknologi pengolahan air dari mata air Polaman di Dusun Polaman, Desa Kebakalan, Karanggayam, Kebumen, Jawa Tengah, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan Mitra UKM dalam mengolah air menjadi produk air kemasan yang siap dikonsumsi, serta meningkatkan nilai jual air tersebut. Mata air Polaman merupakan sumber air utama bagi penduduk di daerah tersebut, tetapi kualitas airnya belum mencapai standar yang aman untuk dikonsumsi. Pengabdian ini melibatkan implementasi teknologi pengolahan air dalam beberapa tahap. Tahap pertama adalah melakukan survei awal untuk memahami kondisi sumber air dan kebutuhan masyarakat setempat. Kemudian, dipilih metode pengolahan air yang sesuai dengan kondisi dan kebutuhan tersebut, yaitu dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Dry Heat Sterilization with Combination Membrane UV. Tim pengabdian juga memberikan pelatihan, pendampingan, dan sosialisasi terkait pengolahan air dengan sistem membran seperti yang telah disebutkan sebelumnya. Dengan penerapan sosialisasi pengolahan air ini, diharapkan kualitas air dari mata air Polaman dapat ditingkatkan sehingga aman untuk dikonsumsi oleh penduduk setempat. Selain itu, diharapkan juga dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pengolahan air yang aman dan penggunaan air dengan baik.

Abstract

This community service was conducted by lecturers from the Business Administration Department, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Yogyakarta, aimed at identifying and assisting the Forest Farming Business Group ProHutani in Tawangmangu, Karanganyar, Central Java. The team mapped out problems and analyzed the situation of the coffee farming business group, identifying issues such as capital, production capacity, business management, and product marketing. The activities were carried out in several stages, including lectures, discussions, and direct interviews with business actors. The identification results indicated the need for training in coffee cultivation, business management, licensing, and marketing. This community service successfully identified several solutions and follow-up steps for the further development of this business group.

Abstract

Kelor Bangunkerto Turi Sleman Hamlet has become a tourist spot, the people there are a group of farmers whose highlands are planted with snake fruit and horticultural crops. Plant waste in the form of dry leaves and household waste is processed into compost and liquid organic fertilizer, in an effort to reduce the use of chemicals on plants. The main problem faced by farmers is that the quality of organic fertilizer packaging is not yet optimal, which is attractive and can last a long time. The aim of this community service is to provide training and mentoring in technical skills for packaging solid and liquid organic fertilizers that are attractive and safe so that they are suitable for sale. The method used was socialization followed by training on packaging solid and liquid organic fertilizer, training on packaging design and procurement of packaging equipment. The results of this service are increased knowledge, skills and welfare of the community, solid organic fertilizer products in plastic packaging, liquid organic fertilizer products in plastic jerry can bottles, branding logo for fertilizer produced by KT MEKAR SARI Kelor, Bangunkerto Turi Sleman DIY.
