Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan desaintiga dimensi (3D) para pekerja di industri mebel melalui pelatihan penggunaan perangkat lunak SketchUp.Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah masih rendahnya kemampuan pekerja produksi, seperti tukang, kepalatukang, dan supervisi lapangan dalam memvisualisasikan gagasan desain, sehingga komunikasi antaradesainer dan pelaksana teknis tidak berjalan efektif. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan secara daring karena pandemiCOVID-19, yang membatasi interaksi langsung. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup ceramah, demonstrasi,praktik langsung, dan evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Materi pelatihan berfokus pada pemahamandan penerapan fitur dasar serta lanjutan SketchUp, seperti Line Tool, Push/Pull Tool, Follow Me Tool, danMaterial Tool. Peserta juga diajak menyusun simulasi dummy desain mebel sebagai studi kasus praktis. Hasilpelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan pesertaterhadap pemodelan 3D. Umpan balik dari peserta sangat positif, menyoroti peningkatan kepercayaan dirimereka dalam menggunakan perangkat lunak desain digital. Dukungan dari manajemen perusahaan danantusiasme peserta turut mendorong efektivitas pelatihan. Beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi antara lainketerbatasan waktu dan beragamnya latar belakang kemampuan awal peserta. Oleh karena itu,direkomendasikan adanya pelatihan lanjutan yang lebih mendalam dan penyediaan sesi bimbingan teknis.Secara keseluruhan, program ini terbukti menjadi langkah awal yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensidesain digital di kalangan pekerja industri mebel, serta dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan efisiensi daninovasi dalam produksi.

Abstract

Desa Cibunarjaya, Kecamatan Ciambar, Sukabumi, memiliki banyak pelaku usaha mikro yang menjalankan bisnis rumahan seperti pembuatan kripik singkong, kripik pisang, dan kerajinan batu hias. Namun, pemasaran produk-produk tersebut masih terbatas pada lingkup lokal, dengan sistem titip jual di warung sekitar. Untuk menjawab tantangan ini, dilaksanakan pelatihan pemasaran digital dengan menggunakan media sosial Instagram. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mengadopsi pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang terdiri atas tiga tahap utama: partisipasi, aksi, dan riset. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah mengenalkan strategi pemasaran digital kepada pelaku usaha mikro serta meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam memanfaatkan platform media sosial sebagai sarana promosi. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner yang disebarkan ke peserta, dapat disimpulkan bahwa skor kepuasan terhadap pelatihan rata-rata 3,6 dari skala 5 yang artinya cukup puas dengan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan. Namun pemahaman terhadap pelatihan sangat rendah yaitu 2,4 dari skala 5 dari kuesioner post test. Hal ini menandakan perlunya pendampingan lanjutan yang lebih teknis untuk membantu peserta menguasai pembuatan konten yang menarik. Pelatihan ini menjadi langkah awal yang signifikan dalam upaya meningkatkan daya saing usaha mikro di desa melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan media sosial. Dengan strategi digital marketing yang tepat dan konten yang relevan, pelaku usaha mikro diharapkan dapat memperluas pasar, meningkatkan pendapatan, dan berkontribusi pada pembangunan ekonomi desa yang berkelanjutan

Abstract

Pendidikan lingkungan berperan penting dalam membentuk kesadaran dan perilaku ramah lingkungan pada generasi muda. Seiring meningkatnya isu global seperti perubahan iklim, pencemaran lingkungan, dan hilangnya keanekaragaman hayati, diperlukan intervensi strategis untuk menumbuhkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pelestarian lingkungan. Artikel ini mengkaji pelaksanaan kegiatan penyuluhan mengenai green behaviour kepada siswa Islamic Entrepreneur Boarding School – Purwakarta sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap pentingnya keberlanjutan lingkungan serta membekali mereka dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk menerapkan perilaku ramah lingkungan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama di lingkungan sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi, dan kuis edukatif, serta penyampaian materi dari perspektif sains dan agama Islam. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari siswa, ditunjukkan dengan partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi dan pemahaman yang meningkat melalui evaluasi pascapenyuluhan. Program ini juga mendorong kolaborasi antara pihak sekolah dan orang tua untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung perilaku hijau secara konsisten. Rekomendasi lanjutan adalah pembentukan program ramah lingkungan berbasis sekolah yang dijalankan setiap hari dalam sepekan, mencakup kegiatan seperti tanam pohon, hari tanpa plastik, dan belajar di ruang terbuka. Diharapkan intervensi ini berkontribusi terhadap pembentukan generasi santripreneur yang tidak hanya kompeten secara intelektual dan spiritual, tetapi juga peduli terhadap kelestarian lingkungan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Angka prevalensi kasus stunting di Kabupaten Sukabumi, Jawa Barat mencapai 27%. Penyebab stuntingberkaitan dengan 4 faktor utama yaitu penyakit infeksi, praktik menyusui, ketersediaan makanan, sertakondisi lingkungan rumah. Kecamatan Ciambar di Kabupaten Sukabumi memiliki jumlah ibu hamil denganprevalensi stunting dan balita stunting kurang lebih 600 orang. Permasalahan air bersih, belumtermanfaatkannya lahan di sekitar rumah dan kurangnya pemahaman PHBS keluarga menjadi permasalahanprioritas. Tujuan PkM adalah memberikan pemahaman pada masyarakat pentingnya sanitasi terkait sediaanair bersih, memberikan contoh pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan untuk ketahanan pangan dan memberikanpemahaman pada masyarakat untuk menerapkan PHBS keluarga. Metode PkM adalah penyuluhan dandiskusi pada 25 orang yang terdiri dari kader PKK, Tim Percepatan Penanganan Stunting dan ibu-ibu kepaladesa. Hasil peserta memahami bahwa air bersih merupakan hal penting dalam mencegah stunting, bahwalahan pekarangan dapat menjadi sumber pangan keluarga dan penerapan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehatpada seluruh keluarga dapat mencegah dan mengurangi stunting.

Abstract

The prolonged state of the COVID-19 pandemic has a huge impact on all sectors, one of which is the education sector. Since pandemic stated, educational institutions have applied distance learning (PJJ) from pre-school to university level. In its implementation, PJJ is considered effective enough to be carried out in accordance with pandemic conditions. The negative impact of PPJ on student is difficulty in self development and hard to catch up so that limited face-to-face learning (PTM) begins. The purpose of community service activities (PkM) is to increase understanding and awareness of being obedient to health protocols during PTM consistently to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. The activity was given in the form of webinar counseling for students, parents and teachers of SMPIT Al Madinah, Bogor, West Java. Submission of material through presentations and interactively with questions and answers. The result of this PkM activity is an increase in knowledge and behavior in obeying health protocols during PTM. This service activity is needed and provides benefits to the community.

Abstract

The temperature of the human body is strongly influenced by the working climate of its environment.  A high-pressure work environment will certainly have an influence on the worker's body temperature and make a separate burden for workers in a work environment. Humans have the ability to adapt in colder and hotter environments with certain restrictions.  The consequences that occur when a person does physical activity in a hot temperature place is not only affected by the decrease in achievement of his activity but also increases the risk of developing diseases caused by hot temperatures. Workers who are exposed to hot temperatures continuously can cause dehydration to hyperthermia. In the tofu industry, there is a process of grinding and cooking of course using tools that will be a source of heat in the work environment. The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) is to provide information to factory industry owners and workers to know about the air conditions at the work site and how the time allowed to work so as not to cause comfort and health disruption for workers. The implementation method is carried out by conducting surveys, data retrieval and socialization hybridly. After the community service activities, managers and Harapan Maju Tofu Industrial workers to know the working climate conditions in their work environment so as to create safe and comfortable working conditions

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is caused by the dengue virus and is still a public health problem today, especially in urban areas. The death rate caused by this disease is very high if not treated immediately. Dengue virus is mainly transmitted by female mosquitoes Aedes aegypty and Aedes. albopictus. Aedes spp mosquitoes are mosquitoes that have the ability to reproduce quickly because the eggs of these mosquitoes can live in dry conditions. Indonesia implements the Jumantik program (Larva Monitoring staff) as a way of eradicating mosquitoes. However, with the current implementation of PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions) in DKI Jakarta, this program has become a bit difficult to implement. This counseling was carried out as part of increasing public literacy in understanding dengue fever from symptoms to prevention at the household level, so that people became aware of this disease even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The counseling was conducted online and prior to the counseling, an initial survey of understanding about DHF was conducted and a final survey was conducted after the counseling to assess the level of public understanding about DHF. The results achieved in the form of benefits, especially for the community, namely residents understand about dengue fever and its prevention through eradicating mosquito larvae in their respective homes, which in turn can reduce the number of dengue cases in Jakarta.

Abstract

Tetanus is a serious disease caused by spores of the bacterium Clostridium tetani. Tetanus infection has no boundaries as people of all ages can be infected and it is still a public health problem today, especially for pregnant women and newborns. Neonatal tetanus (TN) is the tetanus infection in infants aged 3 – 28 days after birth and maternal tetanus (MT) is the infection that occurs during pregnancy and up to 6 weeks after delivery. Tetanus infection generally occurs if the delivery is not carried out in health facilities with adequate equipment and is known as one of the most common causes of death during childbirth. The aim of this Community Service activity was to provide counseling about the importance of Tetanus Toxoid (TT) T immunization for prospective brides and WUS who came to the mother and children out-patient clinic at the Primary Health Care. Cadres those bearing an important role in expanding health information for the community were also involved in this program. This Community Service activity held counseling for the prospective bride and fertile-aged women, while the cadres were given refreshing additional knowledge about TT immunization. The results of this activity were increasing the cadres’ knowledge about TT immunization, and those prospective-bride and fertile-aged women were also encouraged to carry out active TT immunization at the Primary Health Care. There is also a need for cross-sector collaboration with the Religious Affairs office in the application of evidence of TT immunization for prospective-bride as a mandatory requirement that could be implemented properly.

Abstract

Building comfort is closely related to occupant productivity. Thermal comfort is closely related to energy consumption in buildings because they are both affected by air temperature. The Community Service Team for the Architecture Department, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Universitas Trisakti was carried out in collaboration with partners, namely RW 02 Krendang Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta. RW 02 Kelurahan Krendang is in an area with medium to high density with surface cover dominated by roofs and road surfaces. Therefore, through this activity, the team provided planning assistance for comfort in buildings in the RW 02 area of Krendang Village with the aim that residents can find out alternative thermally comfortable building designs and be able to plan for them in the future independently. The method of carrying out this activity is carried out by counseling and training in calculating the material requirements for cool roofs through online, which begins with lectures and discussions in the form of questions and answers. In addition, before and after the activity the participants were given pretest and posttest as indicators of success. This is to find out the understanding of residents regarding the material presented about the concept of efforts to increase thermal comfort using a cool roof. Based on the results of the pretest, in the first question as many as 42.9% of respondents answered correctly, while in the posttest it increased to 66.7%. In the second question, the results of the pretest were 28.6% of the respondents who answered correctly and the results of the posttest were 66.7% of the respondents who answered correctly. Thus, from this activity it is known that the knowledge and understanding of the community is increasing and the awareness of residents is increasing regarding the comfort of buildings and the selection of materials that are safe for the health of residents.

Abstract

Situ Pengarengan Depok has banks with the potential for the beauty of the landscape that has not been optimally utilized as a city green open space, if it is managed properly and correctly, it can be one of the alternative tourism in Depok. The problems felt by the surrounding community are (1) The occurrence of flooding in the rainy season due to silting, garbage, and plants that spread throughout the banks; (2) The lack of green open space that can be used by the community as  a passive or active recreation area, (3) The lake bank has not been used optimally, and (4) There is no clarity on the authority to manage the lake bank.This Community Service (PkM) aims to (1) socialize the importance of public awareness to participate in conserving the lake and its banks, (2) making a "sustainable lake-banks landscape arrangement" by considering ecological aspects, aesthetic aspects and functional aspects according to community needs. The method used starts from the result of preliminary research, site survey and design process. The design process begins with conducting a physical and non-physical analysis, user analysis, mapping of the needs programs, then followed by generating concept, design schematic, and site plan along Situ Pengarengan. The site plan images are presented to the surrounding community to get feedback through the Forum Group Discussion (FGD), then the result from FGD is used to finalize the product image. The results of the FGD are increasing awareness of community behavior to participate in conserving the lake and its banks, published articles in the PkM journal, copyright for the site plan (Site Plan) and copyright for a simulation video for the design of the Situ Pengarengan riverbank. To conclude, the FGD activity and the site plan design are very functionally, aesthetically and ecologically beneficial for the sustainability of Situ Pengarengan banks.
