Abstract

ABSTRACTUrban population density is increasing, causing significan problems. Population growth has an impact on demand for land and reduced water catchment areas. RW 08, which is in Wonorejo Village, Surabaya City, is developing into a dense residential area. Nearly all of the built-up settlements are buildings and leave no space for open land as absorption areas. Apart from these conditions, the construction carried out by the community does not follow the rules for a minimum distance of 0.5m between the yard fence and the outer edge of the channel. Not all houses have drainage channels because the development of the RW 08 area is not a well-organized housing complex, so awareness of the drainage channels for each house is different. The current condition of the drainage channels is also experiencing sedimentation and some have been damaged and require repair. The different dimensions of the channels also make the drainage flow into the river not smooth. Based on these problems, it is necessary to make efforts to prevent the recurrence of flooding with good drainage planning. The drainage planning stages consist of surveying existing drainage conditions as primary data, calculating and modeling rainfall data based on secondary data, hydrological analysis, and finally hydraulic analysis which will later be used in technical planning of drainage channels and dimensions. Keywords: Settlements, Drainage, Hydrology, Hydraulics ABSTRAKKepadatan masyarakat perkotaan semakin meningkat, mengakibatkan kesulitan yang signifikan. Pertambahan penduduk berdampak pada permintaan akan lahan dan berkurangnya daerah resapan air. RW 08 yang berada di Kelurahan Wonorejo Kota Surabaya berkembang menjadi kawasan pemukiman yang pesat. Pemukiman yang terbangun hampir keseluruhan berupa bangunan dan tidak menyisakan ruang untuk lahan terbuka sebagai area resapan. Selain kondisi tersebut, pembangunan yang dilakukan masyarakat tidak mengikuti aturan jarak pagar pekarangan dengan tepi luar saluran minimal 0,5m. Tidak semua rumah memiliki saluran drainase dikarenakan perkembangan wilayah RW 08 bukan merupakan perumahan yang terorganisir dengan baik, sehingga kesadaran akan membuat saluran drainase dari setiap rumah berbeda beda. Kondisi saluran drainase yang ada pada saat ini  juga ada yang mengalamii sedimentasi dan beberapa telah mengalami kerusakan sehingga memerlukan perbaikan. Dimensi dari saluran yang berbeda juga membuat tidak lancarnya aliran drainase menuju sungai. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu adanya upaya yang mampu mencegah terjadinya pengulangan banjir dengan perencanaan drainase yang baik. Tahapan perencanaan drainase terdiri dari survei kondisi drainase eksisting sebagai data primer, perhitungan dan pemodelan data curah hujan berdasarkan data sekunder, analisa hidrologi, dan yang terakhir adalah analisa hidrolika yang nantinya akan digunakan dalam teknis perencanaan saluran dan dimensi drainase. Kata Kunci: Permukiman, Drainase, Hidrologi, Hidrolika

Abstract

Simpang Petai village was formed due to the expansion of the village in 2008.  As a new village, Simpang Petai lacks facilities to face the challenges of implementing village development. The level of understanding and skills of the village officials for planning system is still very low.  The participation of UMKM in the implementation of village development needs to be carried out and strengthened as one of the bases of village stability and the driving force for improving the village economy.  The PkM Team of the Riau University Village Development Program, as Technical Assistance, helped solve village problems.  Inventarisasi PkM team, compile activities systematically and continuously, to improve the understanding and skills of officials and village communities in the process of preparing and implementing participatory village development planning. The forming of active participation of young people, as drivers of village UMKM, in development as the basis for the resilience of rural communities and the driving force of the village economy.  The activities of Advanced Welding Skills Practice, which with Product orientation, and Management Activities website Desa as the basis for village planning for Community Services and Marketing of Local Products succeeded in improving the economy of UMKM ABSTRAKDesa Simpang Petai terbentuk karena pemekaran desa tahun 2008. Sebagai desa baru, Simpang Petai minim fasilitas menghadapi tantangan melaksanakan pembangunan desa. Tingkat pemahaman dan keterampilan Aparat desa menyusun sistem perencanaan desa masih sangat rendah. Partisipasi UMKM dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan desa perlu dijalankan serta diperkuat sebagai salah satu basis stabilitas desa dan motor penggerak peningkatan Perekonomian desa. Tim Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat Program Bina Desa Universitas Riau, sebagai Technical Assistance, membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan desa. Inventarisasi tim PkM, menyusun kegiatan secara sistematis dan berkesinambungan, yaitu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan Aparat dan masyarakat desa pada proses penyusunan dan implementasi perencanaan pembangunan desa yang partisipatif. Terbentuknya partisipasi aktif para pemuda, sebagai penggerak UMKM desa, dalam pembangunan sebagai basis ketahanan masyarakat desa dan motor penggerak Perekonomian desa. Kegiatan Praktik Keterampilan Pengelasan Lanjut, yang dengan orientasi Produk, dan Kegiatan Pengelolaan website Desa sebagai basis perencanaan desa untuk Pelayanan Masyarakat dan Pemasaran Produk Lokal berhasil meningkatkan ekonomi UMKM.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Storytelling is a very beneficial activity for children because it can teach children about morals, like language, help achieve development in emotional learning, improve the learning atmosphere, and introduce new values and cultural values to children. Apart from that, storytelling can also foster an interest in reading in children from an early age so that it can foster a culture of literacy in Indonesia. Therefore, storytelling skills are very important for parents, especially mothers who have children under five. To foster a culture of literacy in children, it must be done from an early age and starting from the family environment. Therefore, this PKM was carried out to provide storytelling skills training to the women of the Dawis Kacang Tanah III group in Bangetayu Kulon Village, Genuk District, Semarang City. This training was attended by 13 members of the Dawis Kacang Tanah III group. The method used is training with four stages, namely 1) planning, 2) implementing actions, 3) observation and evaluation, and 4) reflection. The results obtained from the training include mothers who have 1) knowledge about the benefits of fairy tales for young children, 2) storytelling skills using storybooks and finger puppets, and 3) a growing love of storytelling in young children.  Keywords: storytelling, literacy culture, early childhood  ABSTRAK Mendongeng merupakan aktivitas yang sangat bermanfaat bagi anak karena dapat mengajarkan anak tentang moral, menyukai bahasa, membantu pencapaian perkembangan dalam pembelajaran emosi, meningkatkan suasana belajar, dan mengenalkan nilai-nilai baru serta nilai-nilai budaya pada anak. Selain itu, mendongeng juga dapat menumbuhkan minat baca pada anak sejak dini sehingga mampu menumbuhkan budaya litersi di Indonesia. Oleh karenanya keterampilan mendongeng sangat penting dimiliki oleh orang tua khususnya ibu yang memiliki anak balita. Untuk menumbuhkan budaya literasi pada anak harus dilakukan sejak dini dan dimulai dari lingkungan keluarga. Oleh karena itu, PKM ini dilaksanakan untuk memberikan pelatihan keterampilan mendongeng pada ibu-ibu kelompok Dawis Kacang Tanah III di Kelurahan Bangetayu Kulon, Kecamatan Genuk, Kota Semarang. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh anggota kelompok Dawis Kacang Tanah III sebanyak 13 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dengan empat tahapan, yaitu 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) observasi dan evaluasi, dan 4) refleksi. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari hasil pelatihan tersebut antara lain ibu-ibu telah memiliki 1) pengetahuan tentang manfaat dongeng bagi anak usia dini, 2) keterampilan mendongeng dengan media buku cerita dan boneka jari, dan 3) tumbuhnya rasa suka terhadap mendongeng pada anak usia dini.      Kata Kunci: mendongeng, budaya literasi, anak usia dini

Abstract

The traditions of balulur and batimung are still carried out today. One of the production places for cucumber scrub in the city of Banjarmasin is Ipah Zein MSME. The cucumber scrub product by Ipah Zein MSME is a concoction that has been passed down from generation to generation and has been producing cucumber scrub for three generations. During these three generations, the making of scrub and timung was still done traditionally. The quality of this product needs to be improved so that it can still be marketed. The implementation of this service aims to improve the quality dimensions of Ipah Zein MSME timung scrub products, both product quality and packaging quality. Activities will be carried out from April to December 2021 at the Ipah Zein timung scrub production house. The method used begins with preparation, then implementation of activities and evaluation of activities. Activities that have been carried out include modernizing equipment in the production process, assisting production according to Good Cosmetic Manufacturing Practices, mechanizing packaging equipment and improving traditional cosmetic packaging designs. The results show that the service activities have been carried out well, where there has been an increase in the quality of Ipah Zein MSME timung scrub products, both product quality and packaging quality. Service partners have been equipped with knowledge about Good Cosmetic Manufacturing Practices, given equipment that supports this and the product has a more attractive design and is more acceptable to the marketKeywords: scrubs, timung, quality Tradisi balulur dan batimung masih dilakukan sampai saat ini. Salah satu tempat produksi lulur timung di kota Banjarmasin adalah UMKM Ipah Zein. Produk lulur timung oleh UMKM Ipah Zein adalah ramuan warisan turun menurun dan sudah memproduksi lulur timung selama tiga generasi. Selama tiga generasi tersebut, pembuatan lulur dan timung masih dikerjakan secara tradisional. Produk ini perlu ditingkatkan kualitasnya agar tetap dapat dipasarkan. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan dimensi kualitas produk lulur timung UMKM Ipah Zein, baik mutu produk maupun mutu kemasan. Kegiatan dilakukan pada bulan April sampai Desember tahun 2021 di rumah produksi lulur timung Ipah Zein. Metode yang dilakukan diawali dengan persiapan kemudian pelaksanaan kegiatan dan evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan yang telah terlaksana meliputi modernisasi peralatan pada proses produksi, pendampingan produksi sesuai Cara Pembuatan Kosmetik yang Baik (CPKB), mekanisasi alat pengemas dan peningkatan desain kemasan kosmetika tradisional. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian telah terlaksana dengan baik dimana terjadi peningkatan kualitas produk lulur timung UMKM Ipah Zein, baik mutu produk maupun mutu kemasan. Mitra pengabdian telah dibekali pengetahuan mengenai CPKB, diberikan peralatan yang menunjang hal tersebut dan produk telah memiliki desain yang lebih menarik dan lebih dapat diterima pasar.Kata Kunci: lulur, timung, kualitas

Abstract

This research addresses the high coffee consumption in Indonesia and intense competition in the coffee industry in Bandar Lampung. Despite significant potential in digital marketing, only 8% of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) practitioners utilize it. Therefore, the community service activity from the University of Lampung aims to support coffee UMKM in Bandar Lampung in adopting digital marketing strategies to enhance sales and compete in the Society 5.0 era. The activity method focuses on sharing knowledge and socializing digital marketing. The situational analysis phase involves on-site visits to understand the business processes. Socialization and discussions present content on business trends, digital marketing, and social media strategies. Follow-up includes encouraging the creation of additional social media accounts and optimizing online presence. Monitoring and evaluation are conducted to measure understanding and implementation of digital marketing practices, as well as monitor sales growth through social media. On December 10, 2023, Community Service Activity was held in Mandala Wahyu Coffe Shop, involving five participants and three stages: discussion, digital branding and marketing training, and evaluation. This training aims to enhance the online presence and global competitiveness of the cafe. It is expected that the applied digital marketing strategy will make operations more efficient, promote the company effectively, and increase customer engagement. The result of this community service activity is encouregement to increase sales and develop the business of UMKM Mandala Wahyu Coffee Shop trough optimizing digital marketing in social media. The method involves situational analysis, socialization, follow-up, and monitoring. The promotion mix strategy is expected to be effective in making operational activities and digital marketing more efficient. With the new digital strategy, UMKM can save time and be more effective in promotions. Penelitian ini membahas tingginya konsumsi kopi di Indonesia dan persaingan ketat industri kopi di Bandar Lampung. Meskipun potensi digital marketing besar, hanya 8% pelaku UMKM yang menggunakannya. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dari Universitas Lampung bertujuan mendukung UMKM kopi di Bandar Lampung mengadopsi strategi pemasaran digital untuk meningkatkan penjualan dan bersaing di era Society 5.0. Metode kegiatan fokus pada sharing knowledge dan sosialisasi pemasaran digital. Tahap analisis situasi melibatkan kunjungan ke lokasi untuk memahami proses bisnis. Sosialisasi dan diskusi dilakukan dengan menyajikan konten tentang tren bisnis, pemasaran digital, dan strategi media sosial. Tindak lanjut mencakup anjuran untuk membuat akun media sosial tambahan dan mengoptimalkan keberadaan online. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengukur pemahaman dan penerapan praktik pemasaran digital serta memantau peningkatan penjualan melalui media sosial. Pada 10 Desember 2023 diadakan Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat yang berlokasi di Mandala Wahyu Coffee Shop, melibatkan lima peserta dan tiga tahap, yakni diskusi, pelatihan digital branding dan marketing, serta evaluasi. Pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan keberadaan online dan daya saing global coffee shop tersebut. Diharapkan strategi digital marketing yang diterapkan akan membuat operasional lebih efisien, mempromosikan perusahaan secara efektif, dan meningkatkan keterlibatan pelanggan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dilakukan upaya peningkatan penjualan dan pengembangan bisnis UMKM Mandala Wahyu Coffee Shop melalui optimalisasi digital marketing melalui media sosial. Metode melibatkan analisis situasi, sosialisasi, tindak lanjut, dan monitoring. Strategi promotion mix diharapkan efektif dalam membuat aktivitas operasional dan pemasaran digital lebih efisien. Dengan strategi digital baru, UMKM dapat menghemat waktu dan lebih efektif dalam promosi.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on various sectors, especially in the economic sector. This also happened in areas in Bojonegoro Regency, including Tapelan Village. Tapelan village has a large area of land planted with rice and corn, there are also land or yards of residents' houses, most of which are classified as large and are also used for planting. One of the plants grown by the Tapelan community in their land is Moringa (Moringa oleifera). In the international world, the cultivation of Moringa leaves is an ongoing program. There are several nicknames for Moringa trees including The Miracle Tree, Tree For Life, and Amazing Tree. The nickname arises because the parts of the Moringa tree from leaves, fruit, seeds, flowers, bark, stems, to roots have extraordinary benefits. The goal to be achieved in this community service activity is to improve the community's economy through the PKK group of women by providing food processing training with the basic ingredients of Moringa (Moringa oleifera) into products that have a high selling value. The method used is the provision of training to PKK women in Tapelan Village, Bojonegoro Regency, which begins with prior observation of the existing potential to analyze existing conditions in the community. The third stage is providing training on the use of Moringa (Moringa oleifera) leaves. The fourth stage is evaluation and continued with manufacturing assistance after the end of the training. The result of this service activity is the preparation of Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera) into Moringa Sticks & Moringa Milk Shake.  ABSTRAKPandemi Covid-19 menimbulkan dampak di berbagai sektor, terutama dibidang ekonomi. Hal tersebut juga terjadi di wilayah di Kabupaten Bojonegoro, termasuk Desa Tapelan. Desa Tapelan memiliki lahan yang luas yang ditanami padi dan jagung, terdapat juga lahan atau pekarangan rumah warga yang sebagian besar tergolong luas juga digunakan untuk penanaman. Salah satu tanaman yang ditanam oleh masyarakat Tapelan di lahan adalah tanaman kelor (Moringa oleifera). Di dunia internasional, budidaya daun kelor merupakan suatu program yang sedang dijalankan. Terdapat beberapa julukan untuk pohon kelor diantaranya The Miracle Tree, Tree For Life, dan Amazing Tree. Julukan tersebut muncul karena bagian pohon kelor mulai dari daun, buah, biji, bunga, kulit, batang, hingga akar memiliki manfaat yang luar biasa. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat melalui kelompok ibu-ibu PKK dengan memberikan pelatihan pengolahan makanan dengan bahan dasar kelor (Moringa oleifera) menjadiolahan yang mempunyai nilai jual tinggi.  Metode yang digunakan adalah pemberian pelatihan kepada Ibu-ibu PKK Desa Tapelan kabupaten Bojonegoro yang diawali dengan observasi terlebih dahulu mengenai potensi yang ada menganalisis kondisi yang ada di masyarakat.Tahap kedua sosialisasi kepada warga mengenai manfaat daun kelor (Moringa oleifera). Tahap ketiga adalah pemberian pelatihan pemanfaatan daun kelor (Moringa oleifera). Tahap keempat adalah evaluasi dan dilanjutkan pendampingan pembuatan setelah berakhirnya pelatihan.  Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah olahan dari daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) menjadi Stick Kelor & Milk Shake Kelor.

Abstract

ABSTRACTProviding CERIA (Children's Islamic Stories) digital literacy assistance to children will create a generation with a religious character. Character education can be formed from an early age so that it can fortify children in facing various life challenges. The environment has the second biggest role after the family. When children leave the house to study at TPQ, the learning activities carried out are positive, such as reciting the Koran, praying, and other role models for children. In this way, children will get positive activities in every element of their daily life. The aim of this community service is to find out the religious character of children at TPQ At-Taubah through CERIA digital literacy learning. Basically, the golden age mindset is very good for learning, understanding, and accepting every positive thing that one gets inside and outside the classroom. The method applied is descriptive qualitative. The result of this community service activity is to describe the form of religious character based on CERIA digital literacy, namely children learning to give alms, shake hands, pray and recite the Koran.Keywords: Digital Literacy, Children's Islamic Stories, Religious Characters`) ABSTRAKPendampingan literasi digital CERIA (Cerita Islam Anak) pada anak dengan baik, akan menciptakan generasi yang memiliki karakter religius. Pendidikan karakter dapat dibentuk sejak dini agar dapat membentengi anak dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan kehidupan. Lingkungan memiliki peran besar kedua setelah keluarga. Ketika anak keluar rumah untuk belajar di TPQ, kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan adalah bersifat positif seperti mengaji, bersholawat, serta tauladan lainnya kepada anak. Dengan demikian, anak akan mendapatkan kegiatan positif disetiap unsur kehidupan sehari-harinya. Adapun tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mengetahui karakter religious anak pada TPQ At-Taubah melalui pembelajaran literasi digital CERIA. Pada dasarnya, pola pikir usia golden age sangat bagus untuk belajar, memahami, dan menerima setiap hal positif yang dia peroleh di dalam maupun di luar kelas. Adapun metode yang diterapkan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Abstract

ABSTRACTTelaga Rizqy is one of the dairy goat farms that breeds Etawah Crossbred Goats (PE) in the Lampung Province. Telaga Rizqy produces and markets its livestock products independently, but in the current era of digitalization, Telaga Rizqy requires support and guidance in terms of marketing. The goal of this activity is to assist the MSME business, Telaga Rizqi, in marketing and introducing digital platforms as promotional media through sharing sessions and training. The outcome of these sharing sessions and training is that Telaga Rizqy can maximize its marketing and business design through social media digitalization using TikTok and Canva applications.Keywords: Dairy Goat Milk MSMEs, Marketing Digitalization, TikTok, Canva, Brand AwarenessABSTRAKTelaga Rizqy merupakan salah satu peternakan kambing perah yang mengembangkan Kambing Peranakan Etawa (PE) di Provinsi Lampung. Telaga Rizqy memproduksi serta memasarkan sendiri hasil ternaknya, namun di era digitalisasi saat ini Telaga Rizqy membutuhkan dukungan serta pendampingan dalam hal pemasaran. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah membantu pelaku usaha UMKM yakni Telaga Rizqi dalam memasarkan serta mengenalkan platform digital sebagai media promosi melalui sharing session dan pelatihan. Abstract

ABSTRACTEducation is very important for humans, by obtaining good education humans will become cultured, dignified, and independent individuals. School is a place for students to receive formal education, but the education provided is not yet optimal especially in terms of student literacy, this is due to various reasons in each school. SMP Plus Al-Amanah School is a private school located in Dukuh Balongsumber, Sumbertlaseh, Bojonegoro Regency which has a library with an area of 135 m2 located in the eastern part of the school, but the book collection in the library is limited. In addition, the classrooms in the western part of the school have not been equipped with a library, so students in the western part have to walk around ± 200 meters to visit the library if they want to read a book. Community service has been carried out as an effort to increase students' interest in reading with the method of preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this community service is to facilitate students whose classrooms are located in the western part to continue reading books during break time, and students will alternately fill the wall magazine with motivational sentences and clippings from newspapers. ABSTRAKPendidikan sangatlah penting bagi manusia, dengan mendapatkan pendidikan yang baik manusia akan menjadi manusia yang bermartabat, berbudaya serta mandiri. Sekolah merupakan wadah bagi siswa untuk mendapatkan pendidikan formal, namun pendidikan yang diselenggarakan belum cukup optimal khususnya pada literasi siswa, semua terjadi karena berbagai macam alasan yang ada di sekolah masing-masing. Sekolah SMP Plus Al-Amanah merupakan sekolah swasta yang beralamatkan di Dukuh Balongsumber Desa Sumbertlaseh Kecamatan Dander Kabupaten Bojonegoro yang memiliki perpustakaan cukup luas yaitu 135 m2 yang berlokasi di sekolah bagian Timur, selain itu buku yang tersedia di perpustakaan juga terbatas, sedangkan ruang kelas yang bagian barat belum memiliki perpustakaan sehingga siswa yang berada di sekolah bagian barat harus menempuh perjalanan sekitar eter untuk bisa mengunjungi perpustakaan jika hendak membaca buku. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah dilakukan sebagai upaya memotivasi minat membaca siswa dengan metode yang digunakan adalah persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mempermudah siswa yang ruang kelas sekolahnya berada di bagian barat untuk tetap bisa membaca buku di sela-sela jam istirahat serta siswa secara bergantian akan mengisi majalah dinding dengan kalimat motivasi dan kliping dari surat kabar.

ABSTRACTMasyithoh Muslimat NU Clinic is one of the health clinics located in the Jepara area, precisely on Jalan Pemuda Number 51 Potroyudan Jepara Village. In carrying out its activities in addition to being supervised by the Jepara Regional Klink Association, it is also by the Nahdlatul Ulama Board of Jepara Regency, Central Java. The quality management of public health services at the clinic needs to be improved, considering that health services are very important and play a role as the foundation of the nation's welfare. Priority issues agreed with partners focus on management and promotion aspects. Target outputs and achievements of this service -Increased quality management of the Masyithoh Muslimat NU Jepara Clinic management reached 100%. Increased partner human resources in managing communication and public service reached 100%. Administrative services are more varied and available online services increased by 90%. Improved online-based partner promotional media increased by 90%.
