Abstract

Character building is one of national education purposes. This is in accordance with the contents of the 2003 National Education System Law Article 1 which states that, among the goals of national education is to develop the potential of students to have intelligence, personality and noble character. The mandate of the 2003 National Education System Law intends that education does not only form intelligent Indonesian people, but also personality or character. The Hidden Curriculum of Islamic Religious Education is a set or an unwritten plan relating to Islamic material or lessons, the objectives of the learning process, methods and approaches, as well as forms of evaluation in preparing students to know, understand, live to believe in and practice Islamic teachings in full. . This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, and data collection is carried out taken from journal documents, or other documents. Data collection by way of observation, interviews and documentation. Technical analysis of data by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The application of the PAI hidden curriculum at Sudirman Kaliangkrik Islamic High School includes: (1) Memorization of short surahs, midday prayers in congregation, Kultum, Adhan, Tahlilan, Yasinan. (2) The implication of the hidden curriculum consists of two characters, namely, the first is the character of amali, seen from the congregational midday prayers, tahlilan which contains dhikr and also yasinan. The second is a cult whose goal is self-development and also learning how to preach after praying in congregation. (3) The strategy for implementing activities by providing exemplary examples to students, the application of habituation to hidden curriculum activities, and the existence of collaboration between teachers.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence is one that has a big influence on success in achieving success in the future is that students are able to be embedded in their souls. Emotional intelligence is one of the major influences on success in achieving success in the future is that students are able to be embedded in their souls . The objectives achieved in this study are: 1) To analyse the form of mujahadah activities that can increase emotional intelligence in students at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Falah Bagusan Selopampang, 2) To analyse the strategy of instilling emotional intelligence in students at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Falah Bagusan Selopampang, 3) To analyse the values of emotional intelligence produced in students at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Falah Bagusan Selopampang. This research uses a qualitative method (field research) with a phenomenological approach. Data collection in this research is done by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the data that have been collected are analysed using analytical techniques from data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.This research shows that1) mujahadah activities become a routine agenda at Ponpes Nurul Falah Selopampang which is carried out every day after mahgrib prayer except Friday night, 2) the method of cultivating emotional intelligence that is applied is the Zero Mind Process (ZMP) or the process of cleaning the heart and mind, Mental Building (mental building) which is trying to clear the heart according to its nature, Induvidual Strength (personal resilience), 3) the resulting values are Santri have good spiritual values, Santri can regulate the mood by not being easily provoked or anger. Santri have the value of empathy and prayer, Santri are able to survive with frustration, Santri have a sense of responsibility. The novelty in this research is the cultivation of emotional intelligence in students so that they can use their intelligence appropriately. And that is certainly very different from the planting process in other educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the practice of spiritual education in PAI learning at SD Negeri Krajan Sleman. This research is a type of field research, using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The collected data was analyzed using a triangulation technique to identify the main issues related to spiritual education in PAI learning. The results of the study show that the practice of spiritual education in teaching PAI at SD Negeri Krajan Sleman has several aspects. First, PAI teachers use a holistic and integrative approach to integrate Islamic values into students' daily lives which emphasize understanding moral, ethical, and ethical values in each lesson. Second, PAI learning is designed to facilitate students' spiritual development by providing opportunities for students to reflect on themselves in praying collectively and individually. In addition, extracurricular activities such as religious studies, charity activities, and visits to places of worship are also carried out to strengthen students' spiritual education. Third, PAI teachers act as role models for students in practicing religious life while at school and provide assistance in implementing Islamic religious teachings by providing positive examples in everyday life.

Abstract

Many adolescent girls in Brongkol Village lack understanding regarding the distinction between menstrual bleeding (haid) and abnormal vaginal bleeding (istihadhah), crucial aspects of the fiqh of worship governing Muslim women's daily lives. This study aims to explore the urgency, implications, advantages, and disadvantages of women's fiqh education through the Ianatun Nisa book among adolescent girls in Brongkol Village, Temanggung Sub-District. Conducted as field research, this qualitative study adopts a phenomenological approach, gathering data through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis involves collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through source triangulation. Findings indicate the significance of women's fiqh education for adolescent girls in Brongkol Village. Studying menstrual bleeding (haid) and abnormal vaginal bleeding (istihadhah) is obligatory, impacting their daily worship practices like prayer and fasting. Positive impacts include improved understanding through expository and reflective approaches, facilitated by lecture and discussion methods. However, challenges such as limited Arabic pegon Javanese script literacy among adolescent girls and methodological constraints hinder effective implementation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze Al-Ghazali's perspective on eschatology in Islamic teachings and the implications of his thoughts on the understanding and beliefs of Muslim individuals. The research methodology employed is literature analysis, examining Al-Ghazali's works related to eschatology and interpreting his views within the context of Islamic philosophy. The findings indicate that Al-Ghazali regards eschatology as an integral part of Islamic teachings that is crucial for preparing oneself to face the afterlife. Al-Ghazali emphasizes the importance of developing good morals, abstaining from sins, and maintaining a connection with God and fellow human beings. The implications of Al-Ghazali's perspective on the understanding and beliefs of Muslims are that the focus should primarily be on the hereafter while living in this world. Al-Ghazali's contribution in enriching the insights and understanding of eschatology from the perspective of Islamic philosophy includes the reinterpretation of eschatological concepts, the integration of philosophy and theology, and the development of profound philosophical reflections. This research demonstrates that Al-Ghazali's perspective on eschatology in Islamic teachings has significant implications for the understanding and beliefs of Muslims. Al-Ghazali's thoughts provide a valuable contribution in expanding the understanding of the afterlife and prioritizing the preparation for the hereafter. It offers a deeper comprehension of Al-Ghazali's views on eschatology and motivates Muslims to lead their lives in this world with a broader and responsible perspective.

Abstract

Speaking philosophical concepts of any field of science, including Islamic education focused on ontology, epistimology and axiology of science. The strengthening of any discipline is strongly determined by these three things. It means that the criteria of a science are determined by the three objectives of the study of philosophy. In connection with these issues, this paper aims to elaborate the concepts of Islam and science with the main focus on ontology, epistimology and axiology of education. In addition, this writing is expected to be useful for further understanding of studies on the relationship of Islam with science.  This research is included in the library research, that is, research that limits research and data search only through library collections without requiring research and field data. In this research, researchers use qualitative research methods. In the library research that uses qualitational methods, they take the necessary data from sources such as books, journals, articles.

Abstract

This study describes the history of the spread of Islam in India and its relationship with the Archipelago. This study uses historical methods and a sociological approach. This research is a library research with a research focus, namely how is the history of the arrival of Islam in the Indian region? and How is the relationship between Indian Islam and Nusantara Islam? The results of this research are that the early history of the entry of Indian Islam is divided into two, namely formal and non-formal. The formal spread of Islam, namely the spread during the time of the Prophet, at that time many Jat (Indian) tribes lived in Arabia and some became physicians who healed the illness of Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, who was eventually appointed as his khadimah. The spread in the Rashidun khulafaur era at the time of Umar bin Khatab who carried out the expansion which was then continued by the next government until the Umayyads and the dynasties after it such as the Ghazni dynasty, Ghuri, the Delhi sultanate, the Khalji dynasty, Tughlaq, Sayyid, and finally the Mughal dynasty. non-formal, namely by trade, figures of Alim Ulama and marriage. Meanwhile, the relationship between India and the Archipelago occurred because of trade routes which later led to the entry of Islam. The strongest theory of Islamization in the archipelago was carried out by traders from Gujarat. This theory is believed from the many historical evidences, one of which is the legacy of Malik al Saleh who came from Bangala

Abstract

Muhammadiyah adalah sebuah persyarikatan gerakan Islam. Tujuan dari gerakan ini yaitu menyebarkan Islam dan amar ma'ruf nahi munkar pada dua kelompok diantaranya individu dan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan sehingga peneliti dapat mengkaji kepribadian muhammadiyah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan beberapa telaah dan mengeksplorasi buku, jurnal, dokumen, internet dan sumber lainnya yang relevan dengan topik permasalahan. Masuknya pemikiran politik dan cara-cara mengelola dan menggerakkan Muhammadiyah setelah Masyumi (Majelis Syuro Muslimin Indonesia) dibubarkan dan orang-orang Muhammadiyah yang terlibat dalam Partai Politik Islam kembali ke Muhammadiyah mewarnai lahirnya Kepribadian Muhammadiyah (Nurhayati, 2020). Bahasan ini berisi apa itu Muhammadiyah, hakikat Muhammadiyah dan dasar amal usaha, pedoman amal usaha dan perjuangan Muhammadiyah, dan sifat Muhammadiyah semuanya dikaitkan dengan empat hal utama tersebut. Berdasarkan penjelasan diatas dapat ditarik sebuah rumusan masalah yaitu “bagaimana kepribadian Muhammadiyah itu?”

Abstract

Era of globalization. The cultural and religious values ​​contained in this tradition make it an integral part of local community life. Despite living in modern times with the significant influence of globalization, the Tedhak Siten In the current era of globalization, local traditions often face various challenges. Globalization brings foreign cultural influences that can change the way of life and values ​​of local communities. The influence of technology, social media, influences the way local people view and practice their traditions. This research aims to analyze the role of the Gununggeni village community regarding the Tedhak Siten tradition as local wisdom in the era of globalization. This research uses qualitative methods, with a case study type of research. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data uses source triangulation and theory triangulation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification or conclusions. The research informants consisted of several people from Gununggeni village and several young people from Gununggeni village. The results of this research are that the Tedhak Siten tradition in Gununggeni Village has a strong existence even though it is in the tradition is still preserved and considered an obligation by the village community.

Abstract

The study aimed to understand what influences Muslim students' intention to consume halal food at University Wijaya Kusuma in Surabaya, Indonesia. It considered factors like attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, religiosity, and government initiatives. Through questionnaires collected from 452 students, the research found that religiosity, subjective norms, and attitude significantly affected students' intentions to consume halal food.
