Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the study of the Munjang Mangrove community in Kurau Village as a learning resource for environmental conservation education in Bangka Belitung. This research design used a descriptive approach, using quantitative and qualitative methodologies through transect and plot methods. The research site was divided into five research stations. Each station consists of five transects, each transect measuring 100 meters in length, and each plot measuring 10 x 10 meters, with the measured parameters including species composition and diversity. Parameters measured include plant community composition and diversity. Parameters measured include the composition and diversity of mangrove species. The results showed the presence of 13 mangrove species, with the number of each plant found as follows: Calophyllum inophyllum, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Rhyzophora apiculata, Rhyzophora mucronata, Xylocarpus, Xylocarpus moluccensis, Excoecaria agallocha, Heritiera littoralis, Scaevola taccada, Morinda citrifolia, Avicennia alba, Pongamia pinnata, and Hibiscus tiliaceus. Xylocarpus mekogensis, Xylocarpus granatum, Rhyzophora apiculata, and Rhyzophora mucronata have high INP values, with each INP value exceeding 40%. This indicates that these species have an important role in the Kurau Village estuary. The mangrove diversity index in the Kurau Village Estuary is classified as moderate with a value of 2.1. The findings of the analysis of the relevance of research results in learning based on the 2013 curriculum show the existence of research links with biology learning, especially in biodiversity material for class X SMA with Basic Competency 3.2. Data analysis of observation results on various levels of biodiversity (genes, species, and ecosystems) in Indonesia is needed. The results of the identification of proposed efforts to preserve Indonesia's biodiversity were presented, and the results were based on the results of data analysis of threats to the preservation of various animal and plant diversity typical of Indonesia which were communicated in various forms such as herbarium.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the implementation of individual counseling services with the Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) approach using the Exception Question technique in improving self-acceptance in students. The method used is action research with two service cycles which are complemented by observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that the SFBC approach was effective in helping students recognize their potential and positive experiences, so as to increase self-acceptance. The counseling process includes extracting moments when problems occur, setting goals, reflection, and giving practical assignments. Although there are obstacles such as limited space and inconsistent schedules, in general, this counseling service shows a positive impact. In conclusion, individual counseling with the SFBC (Solution Focused Brief Counseling) approach with Exception Question technique is an effective strategy in improving students' self-acceptance in the school environment.

Abstract

Amid the rapid advancement of technology and the increasing demands of the 21st century, the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model has emerged as an innovative instructional approach that emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and self-directed learning in managing tasks. This study aims to analyze the improvement of students' critical thinking skills and self-directed learning in the Independent Study program at Educourse.id, which implements project-based learning. The students, who come from various academic disciplines, were involved in developing educational platforms and web-based learning tools. This study employed a quantitative method involving 119 Independent Study participants, using a questionnaire as the primary data collection instrument. The questionnaire items were constructed based on several indicators of critical thinking skills and self-directed learning. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test analysis showed a significant increase in both variables after the implementation of PjBL, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that PjBL is considered effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills and self-directed learning.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the influences of the Qiro'ati method and religious attitudes on the emotional intelligence of students at SD Lab School FIP UMJ. The method used is quantitative with survey approach. Data are collected through three questionnaires, each consisting of 30 statements with a 5-point Likert scale, including the Qiro'ati method, religious attitudes, and emotional intelligence. Total of 274 students in grades 4, 5, and 6 paticipated as respondents. The results of linear regression analysis shows that the Qiro'ati method has a significant effect on students' emotional intelligence with a contribution of 47%. Religious attitudes also have a significant influence on emotional intelligence with a contribution of 30%. Apart from that, the results of the F test show that simultaneously the Qiro'ati method and religious attitudes have a significant effect on students' emotional intelligence. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Qiro'ati method in learning the Al-Qur'an and students' religious attitudes together can increase their emotional intelligence both in the school environment and in everyday life.

Abstract

The challenge of teachers in creating quality learning is a demand in education, various approaches through academic supervision have been carried out as an approach solution to optimize teacher performance but the success of its implementation is still questionable. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the implementation of coaching based academic supervision in optimizing teacher performance. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, involving 15 people (principals, vice curriculums and teachers) at Junior High School Tapaktuan District, South Aceh Regency, research was conducted by interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that the coaching based academic supervision model has 3 stages of implementation of coaching academic supervision, namely pre observation, observation and post observation, with instruments that trigger constructive dialogue so that it has a very effective impact by fostering self reflection, finding independent solutions to the learning problems faced and can encourage teachers to develop. In conclusion, coaching based academic supervision is worthy of being an approach in optimizing performance, with academic supervision coaching not just an assessment but more empowering for teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the suitability and fulfillment of infrastructure and human resource needs at the elementary and junior high school levels in Pangkalpinang City as a basis for regional education policy planning. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical methods. Data were collected through observation, surveys, structured interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of techniques and sources to verify findings in the field. The results showed that the condition of elementary and junior high school classrooms varied from decent to severely damaged. The needs analysis revealed the urgency of rehabilitation for classrooms with moderate to severe damage and the need to standardize supporting facilities such as lighting, prayer rooms, health facilities, and counseling rooms, which currently do not meet ideal criteria. In terms of human resources, an equitable distribution of teaching staff was identified to address the disparity in academic background and employment status, although teacher competency was generally categorized as good to excellent. The study concluded that fulfilling the gap between actual conditions and standard facility needs and the redistribution of human resources must be a top priority to improve the quality of education services in Pangkalpinang City.

Abstract

Astronomy is a science that is very close to children's daily lives, from recognizing time, day and night, to changes in the position of celestial bodies. However, learning astronomy at the primary and secondary education levels in Indonesia is still very limited, both in terms of materials and learning media available. This study aims to test the effectiveness of Flamouria Galaksi, a visual-interactive learning media in the form of glowing clouds, in improving students' understanding and interest in learning astronomy material, especially about galaxies and nebulae. The research method used is in accordance with development research and with a simple experimental approach with a quantitative approach through pre-test and post-test. The results showed an increase in student understanding by 91% after the use of Flamouria Galaksi media. This media is able to turn abstract astronomy concepts into a real and fun learning experience. The interactivity and aesthetic visuals proved to encourage students' active participation and increase their interest in astronomy. These findings suggest that the use of innovative media such as Flamouria Galaksi has great potential in supporting the STEAM learning approach and can be a solution to the low astronomy literacy among Indonesian students.

Abstract

Bangka Belitung is a province rich in local wisdom that forms an integral part of Indonesia’s cultural identity, one of which is folklore. However, in educational practice, folklore is often neglected in elementary school learning, resulting in a declining appreciation of local literary heritage among students. Therefore, innovative learning approaches are needed to integrate local folklore into the learning process so that it remains relevant and appealing to future generations. This study aims to develop interactive multimedia based on 3D animation as a learning medium to introduce and preserve local folklore from Bangka Belitung. The use of 3D animation is considered effective because it presents animated visuals accompanied by audio, creating an engaging and meaningful learning experience for students. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Four-D model, which consists of the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires, while data analysis focused on assessing the validity and practicality of the developed product. The study was conducted in Indonesian language learning for fourth-grade elementary school students, particularly on folklore material. The results indicate that the developed 3D animated multimedia is valid and practical, and effectively represents the local wisdom of Bangka Belitung through the folklore entitled Putri Tajuk Malam. This study highlights the importance of integrating local cultural values into education through digital innovation.
