Abstract

This research aimed to determine whether the implementation of game-based learning using the 'Kahoot!' application significantly impacts the English vocabulary acquisition of students at SMKN 1 Bone. The research employed a pre-experimental method with a one-group pre-test and post-test design, focusing on assessing whether there is an improvement in students' vocabulary after applying game-based learning with the 'Kahoot!' application. The instrument used was a vocabulary test administered as both a pre-test and post-test. The study's findings indicate an improvement among the tenth-grade students, as evidenced by the average pre-test score of 48.5, which increased to 86.8 in the post-test—that is, it increased by 38.3%. Observations also confirmed that implementing game-based learning using the 'Kahoot!' application can enhance students' vocabulary. Thus, it can be concluded that implementing game-based learning using the 'Kahoot!' application effectively improves students' vocabulary in Class X MPLB 3 at SMKN 1 Bone.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an explanation of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) and Glad2glow's brand image. This study was conducted with a quantitative approach and using an online survey method. 38 people surveyed purchased and knew Glad2glow products. To show the role of IMC in creating a positive brand image and increasing consumer loyalty, data analysis was conducted using a simple linear regression test with the help of SPSS. To develop a more integrated and efficient marketing strategy, Glad2glow can consider the suggestions given.

Abstract

Logistics management is one operational components owned by the hospital and has a very important role. The function of logistics management includes ensuring the availability of goods that have good quality, the right amount, providing goods such as medicines on time. Some hospitals have obstacles, challenges, and problems in implementing drug logistics management. For example, delays in distribution, errors in inventory management, and inaccuracies in drug procurement planning. The purpose of writing is to provide analysis results related to the Drug Logistics Management Strategy in the Hospital Pharmacy Installation. The writing method used in writing this journal is to use the qualitative type. The results and conclusions are that the drug logistics management strategy can be carried out by considering every aspect, such as planning, procuring, storing, distributing, and the existence destruction/removal activities. In the aspect of planning, it is carried out by the management hospital pharmacy installation. Then in determining the type of drug can be done based on the formulary, requests, decisions head agency, e-catalog, diseases, the most needed drugs, and drug stocks that will run out. Logistics management in the ordering/procurement aspect is carried out when the availability of drugs is almost running out. Then in the aspect of drug storage, a special storage warehouse is implemented. In the storage model is based on the alphabetical system, FEFO, and FIFO. Then in logistics management on the removal/destruction is carried out on disposable medical materials, medical devices, and other pharmaceutical preparations that have expired and do not meet quality requirements.

Abstract

Ensuring on-time production and delivery is a major challenge in the screen printing business which relies heavily on customer orders with tight deadlines. Many screen printing business actors often face obstacles such as immature production planning, limited production capacity, and unstable supply of raw materials. These problems are exacerbated by less effective communication, limited workforce skills, as well as technical constraints such as broken machines and printing errors. Delays in delivery not only affect inside operations, but also lower customer trust and damage business reputation. In addition, operational costs often swell due to overtime needs and expensive express delivery. Therefore, an effective operational strategy is needed to maintain smooth production and delivery in the screen printing business.

Abstract

The emergence of the practice of uterine leasing is seen as capable of overcoming infertility problems experienced by husband and wife in order to obtain offspring by leasing a surrogate mother's womb. Although the practice of uterine leasing has been implicitly prohibited, the fact is that the practice is still carried out secretly by the community. The binding in surrogete practice is established based on the surrogate agreement that is considered to be null and void. Of course this impacts on the loss rights to sue each other before certain courts in the case of disputes. Therefore, this lookup used be carried out to discover the reasons of the surrogate mother practice exercise still occurs for its prohibited role as nicely as to see the position of legal protection in the exercise primarily based on Indonesian positive law. The analysis was conducted using a legislative approach (statute approach) and analytical approaches (analytical approach) so that it is convered in the scope of normative law research. The research conducted illustrates that the surrogate mother practice still occurs, because there is no legal basis for prohibiting this behavior. In addition, Legal protection are only there to prevent the surrogate practice, but they do not provide any safeguards to overcome future disputes.

Abstract

This research is titled Fairy Tales of Kampar Regency In Ecological Literature Studies. Literature is closely related to the human environment, as well as folklore in Naga Beralih Village which is dominated by stories set in nature. This research seeks to analyze the ecological elements contained in the Kampar Regency Folklore. This research is descriptive qualitative with literary and folkloric ecological approach. The story studied was taken as a sample with consideration to represent the ecological background that exists in the collection of The Dragon Switch folklore. The results showed that ecological elements are inseparable from the lives of kampar people. This is illustrated from the ecological elements raised in his folklore. Based on the whole discussion conducted in the analysis section, it can be concluded that the fairy tale Naga Switch Kampar Society contains ecological literary concepts according to Garrard. The concept includes pollution, disasters, animals, and the earth. Fairy tales need good documentation so as not to become extinct or not recognized as belonging to other nations. Behind its simple form, fairy tales can teach many good things to form one's character including forming an environmentally caring character.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between employee performance and work-life balance with gender and tenure as moderator variables. This study involved 384 employees working in Surabaya City. This study used a quantitative correlational approach. To find out how each variable contributes to the variability of employee performance, data analysis was carried out using a hierarchical regression analysis test. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between work-life balance and employee performance (R² <0.092, and F Change <38.902). The addition of gender and tenure as moderator variables did not have a significant effect on the relationship. The second to fourth models showed significance values ​​above 0.05, indicating that the interaction between work-life balance and gender and tenure was not strong enough to significantly improve the model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor penyebab terjadinya tindak pidana penipuan tersebut dan menganalisis proses penegakan hukum yang diterapkan berdasarkan Putusan Nomor 285/Pid.B/2024/PN Tjk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan yuridis normatif dan empiris, dengan data diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan dan data sekunder. Melakukan wawancara dengan pihak terkait, seperti penegak hukum dan instansi pemerintah, untuk memperoleh data faktual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama terjadinya tindak pidana ini adalah lemahnya pengawasan internal, dorongan gaya hidup konsumtif, kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai prosedur resmi rekrutmen, serta sistem perekrutan yang tidak transparan. Proses penegakan hukum berjalan sesuai prosedur dengan terdakwa dijatuhi hukuman pidana penjara selama satu tahun. Putusan ini diharapkan memberikan efek jera bagi pelaku dan memperkuat kepercayaan publik terhadap penegakan hukum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif dan empiris. Pendekatan yuridis normatif berfokus pada analisis hukum melalui peraturan perundang-undangan dan teori hukum yang relevan, sedangkan pendekatan empiris menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap objek penelitian. Data yang digunakan berasal dari sumber data sekunder, termasuk peraturan perundang-undangan, literatur, serta hasil wawancara dan penelitian lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor penyebab tindak pidana penadahan barang hasil curian, seperti pada Putusan Nomor 382/Pid.B/2024/PN.Tjk, dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain faktor ekonomi, kurangnya pemahaman hukum, dan peran penadah yang memperlancar peredaran barang hasil kejahatan. Penerapan sanksi pidana dalam kasus ini mencerminkan pendekatan yang adil dan seimbang, dengan mempertimbangkan kesesuaian pasal yang diterapkan, keberimbangan hukuman, keadilan bagi korban, dan efek jera bagi terdakwa dan masyarakat.

Abstract

This research develops an IoT-based calorimeter practical tool using the ESP8266 module and the Blynk application to increase the accuracy and efficiency of heat transfer measurements. This tool utilizes the DS18B20 and DHT11 sensors to measure temperature and humidity in real-time, with data sent via the Blynk application. Test results show that this tool has high accuracy and is superior to conventional calorimeters in terms of efficiency and ease of use. ANOVA analysis indicated that the temperature of the liquid had a significant influence on the measurement results, while the type of solid did not show a significant influence. This tool is expected to improve the quality of learning and research in the field of physics
