Abstract

Classroom action research that aims to determine for improve learning outcome on study Geography in SMA Negeri 1 Parigi. Sum of subject on research were 20 students. The reason choice location research, 1) teachers Geography worried about learning outcome. 2) Location research near by location disaster (Bawakaraeng collapse). This research does during 2 cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation/evaluation and reflection. Each cycle consisting of each meeting. The data was collected used by sheet of test and sheet for observation activity/ student activities. (1) Student can answer question from teacher/ other student increase up to 5%. (2) Student ask when study increase up to 10%. (3) Students active on discussion increase up to 20% (4) The student do activity out learning (play game, disturb his friend etc) less until 20%. Before do this research discovery learning their value average pretest was 52,5. But, after application discovery learning theirs value average increase become 70,5 on cycle I and Value 82 on cycle II. Happen increase value average student up to 18,00 from pretest to cycle I and 11,5 from cycle I to cycle II. Conclusion from this research is application discovery learning can increase learning outcome.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Self-esteem and Student Well-being in MTs Nurul Anwar students in Bekasi City. The respondents of the study were 112 students, obtained using the cluster random sampling method. The instrument used in this study used a modified student well-being scale from Kurniastuti and Azwar and a modified self-esteem scale from Juju. There were 39 valid items from the student well-being scale, and 31 valid items from the self-esteem item. Data were collected using a questionnaire with Google Form and analyzed using the correlation method using IBM SPSS (Statistic Package for Social Science) 26 for Windows software. The results of the study showed that there was a positive relationship between self-esteem and student well-being, so that it can be interpreted that if students have high self-esteem, then student well-being in students will also be high. The categorization results show that student well-being is at a moderate level and self-esteem in students is at a high level. Suggestions for further researchers are to consider using different theoretical approaches and involving more diverse samples in order to see the consistency of the relationship between self-esteem and student well-being in several educational contexts and age ranges, such as in Senior High School (SMA).

Abstract

Effective communication is a crucial element in the success of school clerical management. This study aims to analyze the role of effective communication in enhancing productivity and collaboration in the office environment of SDS ISLAM SALSABILA Medan. The research method used was qualitative descriptive with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study showed that open, structured, and participatory communication contributed significantly to increased staff work productivity as well as collaboration across departments in the school office. The article concludes that effective communication is a key foundation in building quality school administrative governance.

Abstract

This research analyzes the gap between the guarantee of constitutional rights in public services and the reality of their implementation in the field, using a case study of Sesilia Yovani Saragih's viral TikTok video about her experience in obtaining an electronic ID card. The video exposes how a supposedly simple administrative procedure turns into a bureaucratic process that is complicated, non-transparent, and contains illegal levies. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research integrates juridical analysis of the 1945 Constitution, Law No. 25 of 2009, and Law No. 24 of 2013, as well as thematic analysis of social media content and public response. The findings show that there are still violations of citizens' rights in the form of inequality of access, administrative discrimination, and low quality of public services. The root of the problem is identified in structural, cultural, and weak law enforcement factors. The research recommends comprehensive reform through the preparation of clear standard operating procedures, strengthening the supervisory system, increasing service transparency, strict law enforcement against corrupt practices, and implementing digital transformation centered on the needs of the community. These efforts are expected to realize the fulfillment of citizens' constitutional rights in public services optimally.

Abstract

This article explains how Islamic legal thought particularly through the Medina Charter, Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution contributed to the concept of citizens’ unity. To capture that point, this article will focus on three main discussions. First, the charter of Medina and Islamic legal thought on unity. Second, panchayat and the 1945 Constitution on unity. Third, a comparison of the concept of unity of the Medina Charter, Pancasila, and the Constitution of 1945. The Medina Charter is a milestone that shows how Islam from the beginning has laid the foundation for a composite society. This document was not just a treaty, but rather the first written constitution that recognized the rights and obligations of every group in Medina, including non-Muslims. Such principles as freedom of religion, guarantee of security, and the obligation of mutual assistance in the face of common threats, became tangible evidence of Islam’s commitment to unity in the midst of diversity. In the perspective of Islamic law, the Medina Charter asserts that differences are not barriers to unity, but rather the potential for strength if managed with the principles of justice and tolerance.

Abstract

The real implementation in primary school learning activities has many kinds of learning models used by teachers, especially in improving foreign language learning (English) at school. The learning model that is often used to improve knowledge about English is the bilingual learning model. This study aims to analyze and identify bilingual learning models applied in primary school student learning in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a literature study with the type of research which is descriptive qualitative research. The researcher uses the literature study method to collect data on sources related to the research topic to be used. Then, the data that has been collected is then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive analysis method.The results showed that an effective bilingual learning model to be implemented in elementary schools is a model that not only supports the achievement of cognitive learning outcomes, but is also able to develop students' English and Indonesian language skills in a balanced manner. Inside-Outside Circle model, preview-review based on realia media, integrated skills learning, contextual learning assisted by visual media, and Talking Chips model are proven to increase students' active participation, speaking skills, and comprehension in two languages. Therefore, it is important for educational practitioners to choose an appropriate, integrated, and contextualized bilingual learning model in order to provide maximum impact in the learning process of students in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of liquidity, leverage, and profitability on financial distress, with firm size as a moderating variable. The sample consists of 30 consumer goods sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023, selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) based on the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) with the assistance of EViews 12 software. The findings indicate that leverage has a significant positive effect on financial distress (p < 0.01), while liquidity and profitability do not show significant effects (p > 0.05). Firm size negatively moderates the relationship between liquidity and financial distress (β = –0.626; p < 0.05) and positively moderates the effect of profitability (β = –3.422; p < 0.05), but does not moderate the influence of leverage. These results emphasize the importance of internal company characteristics—particularly firm size—in shaping the financial impact of key financial ratios. Theoretically, this research contributes to the development of a more comprehensive financial distress prediction model, while practically, it provides strategic insights for companies in formulating more adaptive financial risk mitigation efforts.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach to examine the application of organizational learning theory in building a culture of continuous learning in human resources towards 2045. This study also aims to understand how a culture of continuous learning can be improved in organizations and the inhibiting factors faced in this effort. Using secondary data from a literature review collected through Google and Google Scholar, this study explores the concept of organizational performance in the context of continuous learning. The results of the study indicate that Peter Senge's organizational learning theory, which consists of five main disciplines of personal mastery, mental models, shared vision, team learning, and systems thinking, has an important role in building a culture of continuous learning to achieve competent human resources in 2045. In addition, examples of companies in Indonesia and abroad that have successfully implemented an organizational learning culture, such as PT Astra International, Telkom Indonesia, Google, and Toyota, show that the application of this theory can improve human resource skills, strengthen competitiveness, and encourage innovation. This study concludes that despite challenges such as resistance to change and infrastructure limitations, solutions such as open communication, shared vision, and effective collaboration can help organizations overcome these obstacles, so that the implementation of a continuous learning culture can build competent, flexible, and competitive human resources in facing global dynamics.

Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) is one of the indicators in assessing the development progress of a region that reflects the quality of life of the community based on the dimensions of health, education, and decent living standards. This study aims to analyze the effect of PDRB, IPG , and Average Years of Schooling (RLS) on HDI in South Sulawesi Province. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis methods on secondary data from BPS South Sulawesi for the period 2020-2023 which includes 24 districts / cities in South Sulawesi. The results showed that PDRB, IPG, and RLS had a positive and significant effect on HDI both partially and simultaneously. The model is able to explain 89% of the variation in HDI and fulfills all classical regression assumptions. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of regional development policies that focus on improving the quality of education, sustainable economic growth, and gender equality to accelerate the achievement of human development in South Sulawesi.

Abstract

Sexual violence is a traumatic experience that leaves long-term psychological impacts on victims, particularly in the form of negative thoughts and deep-seated guilt. Cognitive distortions, such as self-blame, often hinder the recovery process. This article aims to examine the effectiveness of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) in reducing negative thoughts and guilt among survivors of sexual violence. The study employs a literature review method, analyzing various relevant scholarly sources. Findings indicate that REBT is effective in challenging and replacing irrational beliefs with healthier and more logical thinking patterns. This approach helps survivors reconstruct a positive self-identity and alleviate emotional distress. However, its application must be adapted to the cultural context and emotional condition of the victims. The study offers practical implications for counselors in designing empathetic and evidence-based interventions for survivors of sexual violence.
