Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of companies in the transportation and logistics sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019-2023 period using the DuPont Analysis method. This approach involves the use of financial ratios such as Net Profit Margin (NPM), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Price to Earnings Ratio (PER) to evaluate profitability, asset utilization efficiency, and company equity performance. The data used was obtained from the companies' annual financial reports, the IDX website, as well as supporting data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and other relevant sources. The research results show that the average NPM, ROA, and ROE of companies in the transportation and logistics sector are above industry standards, reflecting strong profitability performance. However, the TATO is below industry standards, indicating the need for improvements in asset utilization efficiency. Additionally, the high average PER reflects positive market expectations regarding the sector's growth in the future.

Abstract

Regional development, as an integral part of national development, aims to optimize the utilization of human resources and other potential resources. One crucial factor in the success of regional development is the availability of adequate financial resources, which include general allocation funds, special allocation funds, central government balancing funds, and locally sourced revenues. This study analyzes the acceptance of Local Revenue (PAD) in Samarinda City by examining factors such as public expenditure, private investment, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and per capita income. Using a multiple linear regression analysis method with time-series data from 2013 to 2023, the study finds that public expenditure has a positive but insignificant effect on PAD, while private investment, GRDP, and per capita income have a significant positive impact on PAD. The findings suggest that increasing local investment, economic growth, and per capita income can enhance the financial independence of Samarinda City. The study highlights the importance of policy formulation aimed at improving local revenue management and reducing dependency on central government transfers.

Abstract

Monetary policy is a key instrument in maintaining a country's economic stability. An imbalance between the money supply and inflation can negatively impact economic growth, purchasing power, and price stability. This study analyzes the role of monetary policy in controlling inflation and money supply to promote stable and sustainable economic growth. The study employs a qualitative approach by analyzing secondary data from central bank reports, previous research, and relevant macroeconomic data. The findings indicate that monetary policy instruments, such as interest rates, open market operations, and reserve requirements, are effective in curbing inflation while maintaining economic growth. However, the effectiveness of these policies depends on global economic conditions and the real sector's response to monetary policy changes. Therefore, a flexible and data-driven policy is required to adapt to economic dynamics. These findings provide implications for policymakers in designing more adaptive monetary strategies to achieve long-term economic stability.

Abstract

The food and beverage industry in Indonesia is increasingly competitive, prompting companies to adopt innovative marketing strategies. One strategy that is increasingly popular is the use of brand ambassadors from global celebrities, including K-pop idols. This study discusses the marketing strategy of Indomilk and Chitato in collaborating with SEVENTEEN as their brand ambassadors. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through digital tracking and observation, the results of the study show that this collaboration has succeeded in increasing consumer appeal and engagement, especially among K-pop fans in Indonesia. Indomilk and Chitato selected three members of SEVENTEEN—S.Coups, Wonwoo, and Vernon—to build emotional connections with the target market through interactive digital campaigns, special edition packaging, and exclusive merchandise. The use of celebrity endorsements and the utilization of fandom culture have proven effective in increasing brand awareness, creating unique experiences for consumers, and strengthening the product's position in the market. This strategy was reinforced by digital campaigns on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, where consumer interaction was driven through online challenges and giveaways. In addition, the “Wave Here on 17 Dec” event provided an opportunity for fans to interact directly with their idols, strengthening the emotional connection between the brand and its consumers. This experiential marketing increases customer loyalty and attracts wider public attention.

Abstract

In this digital era, consumptive behavior is increasing, especially through online shopping platforms such as Shopee. Prestige and social media pressures, such as trends and lifestyles displayed on these platforms, are thought to strongly influence consumer purchasing decisions. In contrast, self-control is expected to be an inhibiting factor for excessive consumptive behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of prestige, social media pressure, and self-control on excessive consumptive behavior in Shopee marketplace users. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Samples were taken randomly from active Shopee users with certain criteria. Data were collected through a questionnaire that measured the variables studied, namely prestige, social media pressure, self-control, and excessive consumptive behavior. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression techniques to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that prestige, social media pressure, and self-control have a positive and significant influence on excessive consumptive behavior in using the Shopee marketplace. This indicates that the higher the perceived prestige and social media pressure, the higher the tendency of consumers to behave excessively consumptively. Conversely, the higher the self-control, the lower the tendency. This research provides practical implications for consumers to be more aware of the factors that influence their consumptive behavior, as well as for Shopee to develop more responsible marketing strategies and features that support consumer self-control.
