Abstract

Bullying against children is a form of violence that frequently occurs in schools and communities and can seriously affect children’s psychological, social, and emotional development. The lack of public understanding regarding the dangers of bullying often causes such behavior to be considered normal or merely a joke. In fact, bullying can cause trauma, reduce self-confidence, disrupt the learning process, and even affect children’s mental health in the long term. This community service activity aimed to increase public understanding of the forms of bullying, its impacts, and legal protection for child victims of bullying. The activity was conducted at Citra Harmoni Housing Complex, Sidoarjo, on December 11, 2023, using legal counseling methods through lectures, discussions, and interactive question-and-answer sessions. The materials presented included physical, verbal, social, and cyber bullying, as well as prevention and handling efforts based on child protection laws in Indonesia. The results of the activity showed that participants gained a better understanding of the dangers of bullying and the importance of creating a safe, comfortable, and child-friendly environment. In addition, the community was encouraged to play a more active role in preventing and reporting bullying incidents in their surroundings.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to answer one of the important parts of the island education and disaster mitigation course in the history education study program of FKIP Unpatti, namely improving the professionalism of teachers in the island region with a sub-chapter on digitalization of teachers in the island region. It is hoped that the implementation of this practicum and community service can add insight to partners with knowledge and skills to teachers of SMP 34 Central Maluku in the use of digital technology (Quizizz, Bloked, Wordwall) as a medium in learning. The target that the implementer wants to achieve in this activity is to increase the insight of knowledge and skills to teachers as activity partners, and it is hoped that this knowledge and skills can be applied in the learning process, so that the skills of using digital technology-based learning applications (Quizizz, Bloked, Wordwall) can be applied in learning to students in the island region. This training activity went smoothly and was able to achieve the expected targets and outcomes. The implementation method starts from the activity plan, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation activities. This training activity will begin with material related to technology applications (Quizizz, Bloked, Wordwall) in learning, an introduction to each feature, registration, and simulations of how to create them, along with mentoring and testing of each teacher's work for each application. The results of this community service activity, through practical activities in this course, demonstrate that the digital technology media training (Quizizz, Bloked, Wordwall) for teachers in the island region, particularly at SMP 34 Central Maluku, has made a significant contribution. Testimonials and questionnaires indicate 100% teacher satisfaction and readiness to apply the use of (Quizizz, Bloked, Wordwall) in teaching.

Abstract

This community service aims to identify forms of bullying and provide alternative solutions in the form of an anti-bullying roots program carried out at SMP Negeri 3 Klari, Karawang Regency, West Java. The methods used in this activity are carried out through a participatory approach. From the results of this community service, it is shown that bullying acts at SMP Negeri 3 Klari are quite common, with verbal bullying being the most common type that occurs at the school. One of the efforts made to reduce bullying is by implementing an anti-bullying roots program. Efforts made by using an anti-bullying program, putting up banners of forms of bullying, and anti-bullying declaration posters signed by all homeroom teachers and class leaders have proven to be quite effective in reducing the number of bullying acts at school. Agents of change as the main pillars of this program are very good at conveying positive messages to other students so that the campaign for SMP Negeri 3 Klari as a child-friendly school has yielded positive results.

Abstract

Marine tourism in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth but is not accompanied by an increase in tourist safety standards. Lumpue Beach in Parepare City is a tourist destination that attracts many visitors, but the Lumpue beach management does not yet have First Aid (P3K) capacity. The Community Service (PKM) activity aims to improve health literacy and tourist safety standards at Lumpue Beach through First Aid education. This activity uses a community service with educational method for 180 minutes at the Parepare Campus. The number of participants is 15 people. The education used poster media and was followed by a semi-informal discussion. Evaluation of the level of understanding used a pre-test and post-test which were analyzed descriptively quantitatively with indicators of success of a minimum score increase of 20% and a minimum post-test achievement of 80% as well as the ability to simulate First Aid. The results of the education showed a score increase of 68.57% from 52.5 (pre-test) to 88.5 (post-test). The results of interviews and simulations showed that participants understood the concept and were able to practice First Aid procedures well. Structured education based on visual media and simulations has proven effective in improving Lumpue Beach management's preparedness for handling tourist accidents. Further recommendations include conducting periodic evaluations every 1-3 months to ensure participants' skills are maintained.

Abstract

One of the strategies to lower the Maternal Immortality Rate (AKI) and the Infant Immortality Rate (AKB) is to provide education for pregnant women is the knowledge of pregnant women whose purpose is to provide information to pregnant women about pregnancy problems and how to overcome them so that pregnant women are ready to face the problem. The mother's unpreparedness in dealing with coping can contribute to the high level of AKI. Keilas Pregnant Women is specially designed for pregnant women to provide education and support from the beginning of pregnancy to the beginning of pregnancy. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the effectiveness of pregnant women in the face of the contents of the questionnaire in pregnant women in trimeisteir II and III at the Bantul 2 Puskeismas Bantul Regency. Meitodei peineilitian meingus, quasy eikspeirimein. The sample of this research is pregnant women in trimeisteir II and III who are registered in the registry of pregnant women at the Bantul 2 Health Center in Bantul Regency in July 2025 as many as 30 people. The technique of sampling is used to measure the total sampling. The results of the study showed that while pregnant women were in the same situation, a proportion of pregnant women were ready to face the test (66.67%), while 33.33% were ready. As long as all pregnant women follow the knowledge of pregnant women in an effective way, 100% of pregnant women say they are ready to face the copy. Statistical analysis showed a value of p = 0.000 (< 0.05), which indicates a significant increase in the content of pregnant women during and after following the pregnancy cycle. Deingan deimikian, the implementation of the efficacy of pregnant women is proven to increase the mother's content in dealing with the divorce.

Abstract

Graphic design skills are an essential competency for vocational high school (SMK) students in today’s digital age. However, initial observations at SMK N 4 Maluku Tengah indicate that the majority of students have not yet mastered the use of affordable and user-friendly design platforms such as Canva. Therefore, this community service activity aims to improve the graphic design literacy and skills of 10th-grade students through interactive training. This activity is themed “Makariki Digital,” an innovative approach that combines mastery of digital technology with the preservation of Maluku’s unique local cultural values. The activity was conducted using a participatory training method involving 30 students, and its success was measured using pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The initial evaluation (pretest) results showed that only 23.3% (7 students) had a basic understanding of Canva. After the presentation of materials and hands-on practice, the final evaluation (posttest) results surged significantly to 93.3% (28 students) who understood the material, while 6.7% (2 students) still required additional guidance. There was a 70-percentage-point increase in understanding. In conclusion, design training using the Canva platform integrated with a local context proved highly effective in boosting students’ digital design literacy.

Abstract

The “Love, Pride, and Understanding the Rupiah” outreach event held at Uraur Christian Elementary School in Kairatu Subdistrict, West Seram Regency, was successfully implemented and received positive responses from students and school officials. The activity aimed to increase students’ understanding of the Rupiah as Indonesia’s official currency and as a symbol of national sovereignty and pride. The materials covered the concepts of loving the Rupiah, taking pride in using it, understanding responsible financial behavior, and recognizing the characteristics of genuine Rupiah currency. Interactive methods, including presentations, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and educational games, were used to encourage active participation and facilitate learning. The students’ enthusiasm throughout the activity showed that financial literacy education can be effectively introduced at the elementary school level. The results indicated an improvement in students’ understanding of how to care for and maintain Rupiah currency, the importance of saving, spending money wisely, and identifying genuine banknotes through the 3D method—looking, feeling, and holding the currency up to the light. In addition, the activity helped foster patriotism, responsibility, and awareness of the importance of valuing the national currency from an early age. It is expected that students will apply the knowledge gained in their daily lives and continue to appreciate the Rupiah as a symbol of Indonesian national pride.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the singing method in teaching the pillars of Islam to early childhood children in early childhood education (PAUD). The study used classroom action research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects were children in Group B2 of the Buah Hati Cerdas Integrated Kindergarten, using observation, interviews, and documentation as instruments. The results showed that the singing method improved children's pronunciation of the pillars of Islam, expanded vocabulary, and strengthened articulation. Furthermore, this method created an interactive and collaborative classroom atmosphere, enhancing children's motivation, self-confidence, and social-emotional skills. Learning effectiveness was further enhanced when the singing method was combined with multimodal approaches, such as movement, visuals, and simple games. The successful implementation of this method depended heavily on the teacher's creativity in selecting, adapting, and linking songs to the learning content. This study concluded that the singing method is an innovative strategy in early childhood Islamic education because it supports not only cognitive aspects but also character development and religiosity from an early age.

Abstract

The rapid development of internet-based information technology has brought various impacts on society, including the emergence of digital crimes such as cyberbullying. Cyberbullying refers to acts of intimidation, harassment, or humiliation carried out through digital media, which can have serious psychological consequences, particularly for adolescents whose emotional development is still vulnerable. This community service program was conducted at MAN Filial 1 Kubu Raya with the aim of improving students’ understanding of the legal aspects of cyberbullying and the provisions regulated under the Indonesian Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE Law). The main issues identified were the low level of students’ legal literacy regarding digital media use and the perception that cyberbullying is not a significant issue requiring serious attention. The program employed an interactive legal socialization approach through presentations, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. Students were also educated about the legal consequences of intimidation and bullying conducted in digital spaces. The results indicated an improvement in students’ understanding of legal boundaries in social media use, the legal risks associated with cyberbullying, and the importance of maintaining ethics in digital communication. Therefore, legal awareness programs have proven effective in enhancing students’ legal knowledge and encouraging the wise, responsible, and lawful use of digital technology in accordance with applicable regulations.

Abstract

Nutritional problems among infants and toddlers remain a significant public health concern because they can affect children's growth, development, and overall quality of life. Malnutrition includes undernutrition, overnutrition, and obesity, all of which may lead to short- and long-term health consequences. One of the early indicators of growth problems is the absence of weight gain in two consecutive weighing periods. This condition is often associated with inadequate energy and protein intake, inappropriate feeding practices, recurrent infectious diseases, and limited parental knowledge regarding balanced nutrition principles. Based on Posyandu data collected in January 2026 in RW 10 Mutihan, 19 toddlers were identified as experiencing no weight gain, alongside several cases of undernutrition, overnutrition, and obesity. These findings indicate the existence of a double burden of malnutrition within the community. To address this issue, balanced nutrition counseling was implemented as a promotive and preventive intervention aimed at improving mothers’ knowledge, encouraging appropriate feeding practices, and supporting regular monitoring of child growth and nutritional status.
