Abstract

This research started from the results of pre-study observations on West Sumatran brides who have oily facial skin, it was found that there were problems with inappropriate makeup results that affected their appearance and self-confidence, including makeup that didn't last long. and form the powder gathered in one place. This study plans to investigate the impact of the use of face primer gel on the makeup results of West Sumatran brides with oily facial skin. This type of examination is an investigation with a quantitative methodology. The number of samples in this exploration were Padang State University students with an age range of 19 – 25 years with the criteria of having oily facial skin. The sample collection technique used a purposive testing technique with a sample size of 2 individuals. Search information using One Sample T-test with SPSS 25. Due to the use of face primer gel in West Sumatran bridal cosmetics on oily facial skin, it can be seen that the most prominent value is in the smoothness level with a normal value of 3.70 with a very smooth model. In the flatness section, it has a normal 3.80 with a very normal model. Meanwhile, in terms of durability, it has a typical value of 3.80 with a very durable size.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the problems that exist in the teaching and learning process of Islamic Religious Education and the factors that cause these problems to occur. Data collection focused on high school. This research uses a qualitative methods with a case study approach with data collection techniques carried out by conducting interviews and observations with Islamic religious education teachers, school principals, deputy principals for student affairs, and students at the research site. The results of the research found that learning problems occurred due to the lack of learning facilities and infrastructure in schools, such as reading books so that which had an effect on students' lack of interest in reading at school besides that there were also problems with the lack of variations in methods and models teaching Islamic Education teachers so that student learning motivation does not increase and learning is more dominant in cognitive nature so that students only understand religion but have not been able to implement it optimally in everyday life.

Abstract

Youth is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood, at this time they are looking for identity and quite a lot of them express it with negative things. One of them is free sex which results in pregnancy out of marriage. Based on data from the statistical center, the number of adolescent promiscuity is currently increasing, the West Sumatra Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) noted, in 2021 the dispensation of early marriage. Whereas the previous year, only 786 women. This study aims to analyze how the factors that influence the occurrence of pregnancy out of marriage, such as level of education, economic conditions, social environment, educational background of parents, and lack of firmness from parents in educating their children. This research uses the method of a qualitative approach to phenomenology. Sources of data were taken from three informants through interviews who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. All interview results were analyzed using techniques Analysis interactive model Milles & Huberman. Research Findings show that five factors cause pregnancy out of marriage experienced by informants. These five factors are: i) the impact of dating, ii) lack of enthusiasm from parents to motivate their children to continue their studies, iii) lack of attention from the family, iv) letting children hang out too much without paying attention, v) feeling lazy from myself to continue to the high school level. Research result This can be used as information for the community to be able to find solutions to existing problems.

Abstract

Learning the Qur’an is an obligation for all Muslims because Qur’an is a source of Islamic religious law. However, there are still obstacles that occur in the learning process. This study aims to determine the problems that occur in learning Qur’an at the Qur’an education garden (TPQ). This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach (case study design). Sources of data were taken through in-depth interviews with nine informants consisting of three educators and six students in three different the Qur’an education garden using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study found five problems in learning the Qur’an that are: i) lack of professional educators, ii) class schedule every day the same, iii) a short learning time, iv) learning facilities are less supportive, v) parents of students always blame the teacher. Apart from problems, there are also six themes (solutions) that can be applied, namely: i) requirement for educators must be a bachelor of education, ii) there is a classroom, iii) there is a curriculum, iv) there are rules in learning, v) appropriate learning time, vi) the existence of a system of “One Year Can Read Qur’an”. The results of this study can be used as information for the community in order to find solutions to these problems.

Abstract

Character is an important thing in the learning process. Positive and moral values must be instilled in students, especially in the era of globalization, many students are negligent about character education. This study aims to determine the inculcation of religious character values in students through the school's extracurricular program. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data sources were taken from fifteen informants through in-depth interviews. Informants were obtained from a school principal, four Islamic Religious Education teachers, and ten spiritual members. The results of the analysis show that there are fifteen themes in implementation religious character values in students through the school's extracurricular program. The fifteen themes are i) Islamic Studies, ii) Islamic Seminars, iii) Murajaah the Quran, iv) Kahatam the Quran, v) Ramadhan Islamic Boarding School, vi) Commemoration of Eid al-Fitri and Eid al-Adha, vii) Milad of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, viii) Isra Miraj Commemoration, ix) Faith and Piety Building Night, x) Halal Bi Halal, xi) Rihla, xii) Marawis, xiii) Calligraphy, xiv) Nasyid. The results of this study can be used as initial data for subsequent research in examining problems in different contexts.

Abstract

The role of parents in the family is needed in children's education. As times progress, parents have challenges in educating children in the family. The aim of this study is to analyze what is the challenge for parents to educate children's morals in Muslim families. This research uses the method qualitative case study approach. Data sources were taken from four informants through in-depth interviews consisting of traditional leaders, clerics, Islamic religious education teachers, and community leaders who were selected using the technique of purposive sampling. All interview results were analyzed using techniques Analysis Interactive Model Milles & Huberman. Analysis results show that there are five challenges for parents in educating children's morals in Muslim families. The five challenges are: i) The high volume of parents' work, ii) the low knowledge of parents about parenting, iii) the strong currents of globalization, iv) the challenges of modern life, v) the low knowledge of parents about the Islami religion. Research result this can be used as information for the community to be able to find solutions to family problems.

Abstract

Adolescence is vulnerable to deviant behaviour, therefore the role of the family, especially parents, is needed in supervising their children, especially teenagers. Reports from previous researchers found a high rate of teenage pregnancies before marriage and these rates have always shown an increase until now. Precisely that this research is to analyse what are the factors that cause teenage pregnancies before marriage and as solutions to prevent them. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Sources of data were taken from six informants by direct interviews. All data were then analysed using the Miles and Huberman technique. The research findings show three factors causing this behaviour to occur; i) low parental supervision, ii) falling into promiscuity, iii) lack of understanding of religion. Furthermore, three ways of prevention are i) the need for parental supervision, ii) the collaboration of all parties in the community and iii) instilling religious knowledge in adolescents.

Abstract

Any action that aims to bring down one party with acts of violence or harassment of victims by perpetrators who have power or strength. This study aims to analyze the forms of bullying that occur, to find out the factors that cause students to bully. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources were taken from two informants through in-depth interviews, one informant was the school principal and the other was an Islamic religious education teacher. The research results obtained are an analysis of bullying behavior which has been studied by researchers, namely in the form of physical contact and verbal form which makes the victims of bullying experience deep trauma so that the role of religious teachers in dealing with bullying problems between students is very important in this case, so religious teachers do socialization related to the dangers of bullying behavior because teachers who act as parents at school are required to provide good treatment so that students who behave as bullies can become good children in socializing, religious teachers must carry out intensive monitoring aimed at students who behave as victims of bullying can be a child who can interact socially well and has a firm soul in dealing with future treatment and can overcome his own problems. The implications of this article are made to find out what forms of bullying are in schools so that the number of victims continues to grow and this must be prevented as soon as possible, so steps are needed to prevent bullying.

Abstract

Mamakiah activities are an important aspect of santri education in traditional surau. Mamakiah is an activity for students to leave the mosque and go around the surrounding villages to ask alms from the community. Mamakiah's main goal is to meet the educational needs of underprivileged students, such as buying books and other learning equipment. In addition, mamakiah also provides opportunities for students to socialize with the surrounding community and add insight through direct interaction with the community. In the context of classic Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, mamakiah activities are still carried out by santri. Unique activities certainly have certain values ​​and goals. This study aims to find out what the values ​​and goals of mamakiah activities are. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Sources of data were taken from five informants through in-depth interviews. The research findings show that there are four important aspects in mamakiah activities: i) bringing students and society closer together, ii) strengthening the character and toughness of students, iii) means of da'wah for students, iv) continuing the classical Islamic boarding school education system in a sustainable manner. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of the role of mamakiah in the education of students as well as the social, religious, and skills values ​​that can be acquired through this activity.

Abstract

Education is one of the main keys to creating and forming Indonesian human qualities that are superior and have strong competitiveness. In Indonesia, children's education on the coast generally has the same problems, namely low levels of education and inadequate socio-economic life. Thus this study aims to analyze what are the problems of children's education on the coast. This research uses a qualitative method with an approach to ethnography. The research data was taken from eight informants consisting of children, parents, and the surrounding community. To strengthen the interview data the authors also made direct observations of children in coastal areas. Interview and observation data were analyzed using Analysis Interactive Model Milles & Hubberman. The results of this study are that there are five problems that hinder children's education on the coast, namely inadequate economic conditions, children's desire to follow their parents' career path, low interest in learning in children, lack of motivation from parents to go to school and environmental factors and friends. The results of this study can be used as information for the community to find solutions to existing problems.
