Abstract

The purpose of the dedication to the community is to provide training in creating learning media using AI (Artificial Intelligence) to enhance the creativity of teachers. The dedication to this community is carried out in the State Department of Rawakalong 03. Methods of implementation of dedication to the community, among others: 1) Stage of observation, at this stage is conducted survey of location, survey of problems experienced by the school, and assignment of teachers to be followed include, 2) Stage Pre Training, in this stage teachers are given approval regarding the application used and how to create the account, 3) Stage Training, on this stage the teacher is given training making learning media in power point and quiz using AI (Artificial Intelligence) 4) Stage Discussions, at that stage the dedication team and teachers discuss each other related difficulties in making learning medium in power points and quiz forms 5) Stage Evaluation, dedication Team checks the learning media outcome in powerpoint and quiz already made by the teacher and has been sent to an email to one of the teachers. Results to be achieved in dedication to this community are: 1) adding insights and benefiting State SD teachers Rawakalong 03 for use in learning, 2) power point and quiz using AI (Artificial Intelligence), 3) publication of articles in journals.

Abstract

 Environmental education is one of the efforts aimed at preserving the surrounding environment so as not to harm humans and other living things. Efforts to preserve the environment need to be carried out early on so that awareness and habits of the importance of nature for humans can be instilled and threats to human security can be reduced, which include seven aspects, namely economic, food, health, environmental, personal, community, and political security. To realize this, the Yogyakarta Technology University community service team is trying to conduct socialization with kindergarten students to help them realize one aspect of human security, especially environmental security. This activity has encouraged the enthusiasm of students at the kindergarten level to learn outside the classroom while preserving the surrounding environment.

Abstract

A family can be declared healthy if it meets the family indicators set by the Indonesian Ministry of Health (2016) regarding the Healthy Indonesia Program with a family approach (PIS-PK). The method of community service activities is carried out by providing socialization to the community about understanding the importance of forming a healthy and prosperous family. The socialization method is carried out in the form of lectures, discussions and questions and answers to the community. Community service activities were carried out on Friday, June 28, 2024 at the Ciputra Pekanbaru Mall which was attended by various groups of people. This PKM activity began with healthy exercise with the community. After that, it was continued with the delivery of socialization material to the community regarding understanding the importance of forming a healthy and prosperous family. During the delivery of the socialization material, the participants or the community were very enthusiastic in listening to the material. It is hoped that this activity can provide education to the community about the importance of building a healthy family. This community service activity went well with the support of all groups.

Abstract

Optimizing supply chain management is a key factor in supporting sustainable growth, especially for flower farmers in Kopeng, Semarang Regency. This study aims to identify and implement effective supply chain management strategies to improve the welfare of flower farmers and support sustainable growth. The research method uses a participatory approach that actively involves flower farmers in all stages of the research, from problem identification, solution development, to evaluation of implementation results. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and field observations. The results of the study indicate that supply chain management in Kopeng faces several major challenges such as price fluctuations, limited market access, and lack of coordination between stakeholders. The proposed strategies to address these issues include strengthening farmer groups, utilizing information technology, product diversification, and implementing sustainable agricultural practices. The implementation of these strategies is expected to improve operational efficiency, farmer welfare, and environmental sustainability. This study makes a significant contribution to the literature on supply chain management in the agricultural sector and can be a reference for similar research in the future.

Abstract

To notice that children are ready for elementary school is one of the most important things for children that teachers and parents need to care about., But many teachers still don't understand the importance of it the child's readiness embraces the readiness to learn, physical readiness, social skills, Emotional maturity, The ability to think and communicate. Nijmeegse Schoolbekwan Test is a measuring tool that is able to measure students' readiness to enter school. The methods used are lectures and direct practice by teachers. As a result of this community service, the teacher demonstrated the ability to use the NST measuring instrument and was able to interpret the test instrument well, so that the NST was used to measure student readiness in the current year.

Abstract

Mastering automation technology is crucial in the era of Industry 4.0, particularly for the academic community in Vocational High Schools (SMK), which plays a key role in producing skilled workers. However, a lack of understanding and access to this technology among teachers and students in SMKs across Semarang poses a significant challenge in meeting the growing demands of the industrial sector. This community service initiative aims to provide training and introduce automation technology to the academic community of SMKs in the Semarang region. The training is designed to enhance the competencies of teachers and students in operating and applying automation technology through practical and interactive approaches. The expected outcome of this initiative is an improved understanding and skill set among participants in utilizing automation technology, thereby boosting the competitiveness of SMK graduates in the job market. This program is also anticipated to serve as a model for integrating automation technology into the curriculum of other SMKs in Indonesia.

Abstract

Health is important for every human being, where having a healthy body allows everyone to live more productively compared to people who are sick. This activity was carried out by means of counseling and demonstration using teaching aids to elementary school students in Pulau Panjang, Galang District, as well as health checks for the community. In the counseling session, participants were given an understanding of how important it is to maintain dental health and how to maintain dental hygiene by brushing their teeth properly. After the counseling activity was completed, it was continued with a health check-up activity with the community in Pulang Panjang, Galang District. The health check-up included blood pressure checks and blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid checks. Blood pressure checks were carried out on adults and the elderly considering that the risk of high blood pressure increases with age. After the blood pressure measurement, it was continued with blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid checks. From the results of the health check-up, it is hoped that the community can find out what diseases they are experiencing. Overall, this counseling and health check-up activity went well.

Abstract

Bandar Khalipah Hamlet XI Village, Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict, is a village whose citizens in their daily lives are familiar with information and communication technology. The people of Bandar Khalipah Dusun XI Village need to understand what is meant by illegal levies (pungli) committed by a person, government official, or official. The implementation method is carried out by lectures and discussions with the community accompanied by questions and answers. The results show that law enforcement efforts through a humanism approach are a movement to raise awareness of human values owned by the community with the aim of creating qualified legal awareness and avoiding legal loopholes by means of heart to mind, communication approach (dialogue), mediation, friendship approach and family approach that has been by the Village Government together with local community leaders so as to get clear output and avoid legal problems.

Abstract

Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disease, characterized by increased blood sugar levels. There are two types of diabetes mellitus, type 1 and type 2. Complications of diabetes mellitus consist of macrovascular, such as coronary heart disease, stroke, and peripheral vascular disease, and microvascular, such as neuropathy, nephropathy, and retinopathy. It is said to be diabetes if the blood sugar test is ≥ 200 mg/dL and pre-diabetes if the result is ≥ 140 mg/dL.  Meanwhile, checking fasting blood sugar ≥ 126 mg/dL, HbA1c > 6.5%, G2PP ≥ 199 mg/dL can also be said to be diabetes. The prevalence of diabetes in Indonesia is highest in Jakarta, namely 3.4%. East Jakarta itself is in second place in terms of diabetes sufferers in Jakarta. With the high rate of diabetes in Jakarta, especially East Jakarta, this community service is carried out which aims to increase public knowledge about diabetes mellitus. The Community Service Method this time uses the lecture method by the material presenter. There was an increase in knowledge about diabetes mellitus after the intervention.

Abstract

Nowadays, the efficiency of CNC milling machines has become one of the crucial issues in the industry in general and especially in small industries. This is due to high utilization but not efficiency. Low machine efficiency has an impact on the financial aspects of the industry. In addition to the issue of efficiency, the uncertainty of machining results is also a major issue because of its impact on time, cost, and large customer trust. Failure to achieve surface roughness results in rework, overtime, replacing materials, and starting the process from the beginning, all of which end in replacing materials and starting the process from the beginning, all of which end in costs. Through joint activities between industry and academia, an experiment was designed to experiment to improve the quality of the product surface and ensure that the product specifications are achieved. With this activity, machining parameters were obtained that could convincingly produce the target surface roughness. A total of 6 specimens were tested, and achieved 100% as targeted.
