Abstract

Prophetic education plays a role in improving academic integrity among students. Prophetic education is an educational approach that emulates the life and values of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), integrating intellectual, moral, and spiritual dimensions to form individuals with character and character. This research was conducted on students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah, focusing on their understanding of the value of integrity which includes honesty, responsibility, trust, and self-quality. The results show that most students view honesty (the trait of ṣidīq) as the main foundation of academic integrity, which encourages them to avoid dishonest behaviors such as plagiarism and conditions in exams. Professional education is considered relevant to build a healthy and ethical academic culture by prioritizing prophetic values, such as honesty and trust. The implementation of this education in higher education is expected to create a learning ecosystem that not only focuses on academic achievement but also maintains the intellectual dignity and personal integrity of students.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of various dating violence prevention programs among college students through a systematic literature review guided by PRISMA. Article searches were conducted using the publish or perish application with three databases, Google Scholar, Scopus, and Semantic Scholar. Seven articles from various databases were qualitatively analyzed to identify intervention approaches, effectiveness, and relevance to higher education settings. Findings indicate that most programs, such as SHARe, DRIVEN, Stepping Up, and SPoRT, adopted a group-based psychoeducational approach that effectively increased awareness, communication skills, and attitudes toward healthy relationships. Media-based interventions such as the STOP Dating Violence Video and visual campaigns such as the Red Flag Campaign also showed positive results in increasing bystander knowledge and efficacy. The SSS program highlighted the importance of social support for survivors. This review recommends the integration of educational, social, and media-based approaches as a comprehensive and contextually relevant prevention strategy for universities in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mindfulness-based classical guidance on increasing students' learning motivation at SMAN 7 Sinjai. This research employs an experimental method with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The results indicate that mindfulness-based classical guidance has a significant positive impact on enhancing students' learning motivation. The distribution of students' motivation categories shows a greater shift towards high and very high categories in the experimental group, while the control group remains dominated by low and moderate categories. The t-test results show a significance level of 0.010 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in terms of learning motivation after the intervention. The mindfulness approach has proven effective in helping students improve focus, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and academic stress management, all of which are essential components of learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the RIASEC 4.0 instrument application for exploring the potential, interests, and talents of 11th-grade students at SMAN 12 Luwu Timur. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach based on the Borg & Gall model, this research employs both quantitative and qualitative methods. The subjects of the study include two Counseling and Guidance experts for content validation, two Educational Technology experts for technical assessment, and students involved in three stages: initial needs assessment, validity and reliability testing of the instrument, and practicality testing of the application. Data were collected through questionnaires, expert validation sheets, observations, and interviews, and then analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis and Cronbach’s Alpha reliability. The results indicate a high demand from students for the RIASEC 4.0 application as an assessment tool for potential and interests. The application was developed with an attractive user interface design that aligns with user characteristics and achieved an average validity score of 90%. Practicality evaluations from students and guidance counselors showed average scores of 4.75 (95%) and 4.60 (92%), indicating that the application is very easy to use and effective in supporting career guidance. This research is expected to contribute to the development of technology-based career assessment instruments in schools.

Abstract

The management of extracurricular activities plays a crucial role in shaping the character of high school students. This study aims to describe and analyze the management of extracurricular activities in character building at SMAN 1 and SMAN 23 in Bandung City. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies, involving data collection through in-depth interviews with school principals, extracurricular supervisors, and students; surveys of student participation; and documentation studies. The results show that integrated extracurricular management through stages of policy planning, human resource organization, participatory program implementation, and regular evaluation significantly contributes to the enhancement of students' self-discipline and social responsibility. Good extracurricular management can serve as a strategic tool in character education. Extracurricular activities focused on social skill development, such as student organizations and youth activities, are more effective in shaping students' character. Strategic recommendations include the need for schools to strengthen student participation while also providing the necessary moral and logistical support for program sustainability. Regular and comprehensive evaluations of extracurricular activities are essential. Developing diverse and inclusive extracurricular programs is crucial to reach all students' interests and potentials. Diversity in activity choices will create a more holistic learning environment and encourage comprehensive character development among students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and its relationship with the development of students’ self-regulated learning (SRL). Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation at a senior high school in OKU Regency. The findings reveal that the Merdeka Curriculum encourages active student engagement through project-based learning, reflection, and differentiated strategies. Its implementation provides space for students to set learning goals, monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes independently. A positive correlation is found between the curriculum and the development of SRL skills, especially among students who receive strong support from teachers and their learning environment. However, disparities persist due to differences in social background and teachers’ pedagogical readiness. The study concludes that the Merdeka Curriculum holds great potential in shaping autonomous lifelong learners, provided that systemic support is strengthened through teacher training, structured reflection practices, and school-family collaboration.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of religious activities in fostering students’ moral character at MA Asy-Syifa, Baturaja Timur District, OKU Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using observation, in depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that religious activities regularly implemented such as congregational prayer, Qur’anic recitation, Islamic holiday commemorations, and leadership training significantly contribute to students’ religious attitudes, discipline, and social ethics. These activities are implemented through habituation and role modeling approaches involving teachers, student religious organizations (BDI), and school leadership. Supporting factors include adequate infrastructure, high student enthusiasm, and teacher commitment. However, several obstacles remain, such as limited facilities, weak internal coordination, and low participation from some students. This study concludes that religious activities play a crucial role in developing students’ moral character, but systemic reinforcement is needed to achieve optimal and sustainable outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the Prophet Muhammad’s hadith and sunnah as the foundation of Islamic character education. Using a qualitative library research method, this paper analyzes classical and contemporary literature related to moral values derived from prophetic traditions. The study emphasizes that Islamic education aims not only to develop intellectual capacity but also to shape moral integrity, spiritual maturity, and social responsibility. The findings reveal that the prophetic model of education integrates several key principles: exemplary behavior (uswah hasanah), compassion and empathy, consistent moral habituation, appreciation of knowledge, discipline, and the balance between worldly and spiritual life. These values provide a holistic framework for addressing the moral and ethical crises faced by modern society. The research concludes that revitalizing prophetic values within formal and non-formal education can produce a generation of Muslims who are intellectually competent, emotionally resilient, and spiritually grounded. Therefore, the hadith and sunnah are not merely historical or theological references but serve as a living civilizational strategy for character formation in the contemporary era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis kebijakan manajemen Bimbingan Kelompok (BK) dan mengukur tingkat keberhasilannya dalam mengoptimalisasi motivasi belajar peserta didik di MA Mambaul Ulum Ponjanan Timur di tengah implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Urgensi penelitian didasarkan pada temuan awal mengenai fluktuasi motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), yang diduga kuat berasal dari kelemahan manajerial dalam pengelolaan layanan BK. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus (case study) di MA Mambaul Ulum Ponjanan Timur. Subjek penelitian dipilih secara purposif (purposive sampling), meliputi Kepala Madrasah, Guru BK, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, dan perwakilan peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif terbatas, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, didukung dengan uji keabsahan data melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Temuan utama menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan signifikan antara kebijakan ideal BK dalam Kurikulum Merdeka dengan implementasi manajerial di tingkat madrasah. Kebijakan sekolah masih cenderung memprioritaskan kegiatan intrakurikuler, yang termanifestasi dalam seringnya pembatalan dan pemotongan alokasi waktu sesi bimbingan kelompok. Kondisi manajerial ini mengakibatkan layanan BK gagal menjadi katalisator efektif dalam menanamkan self-regulated learning dan mengatasi fluktuasi motivasi belajar siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa ketidakoptimalan layanan Bimbingan Kelompok di MA Mambaul Ulum bukan disebabkan oleh kompetensi Guru BK, melainkan oleh kelemahan kebijakan manajemen yang belum terintegrasi penuh dengan filosofi Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya kebijakan manajerial yang tegas untuk menjamin konsistensi jadwal dan pengembangan modul BK yang adaptif guna mewujudkan student well-being dan capaian belajar yang optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran manajemen Kepala Sekolah (KS) dalam mengoptimalisasi keterlibatan Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) untuk penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Islam (PKI) di SMPI Mambaul Ulum Ponjanan Timur. Urgensi studi didasarkan pada peran krusial Guru BK dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai karakter luhur dan perlunya dukungan manajemen KS yang transformasional untuk menjamin efektivitas program. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus (case study). Subjek penelitian dipilih secara purposif, meliputi Kepala Sekolah, Guru BK, dan staf terkait, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran manajemen Kepala Sekolah telah dilaksanakan secara efektif melalui siklus fungsional POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling), yang memposisikan program BK sebagai pilar strategis, bukan sekadar pelengkap administrasi. Optimalisasi keterlibatan Guru BK dicapai melalui dua strategi utama: pemberdayaan profesional (delegasi penuh dalam penyusunan Modul PKI aplikatif) dan penguatan kolaborasi horizontal (Rapat Koordinasi wajib mingguan yang menjadikan Guru BK sebagai koordinator sentral). Keterlibatan optimal Guru BK diwujudkan dalam implementasi layanan yang kontekstual dan relevan dengan nilai-nilai Islam, seperti layanan klasikal tematik Adab dan konseling berbasis taubat. Meskipun ditemukan kendala rasio Guru BK:siswa yang timpang, KS bertindak sebagai problem solver dengan menerapkan solusi cerdas, yaitu pendelegasian tugas preventif kepada Wali Kelas di bawah monitoring Guru BK. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa manajemen KS yang sistematis dan transformasional terbukti menjadi kunci utama keberhasilan optimalisasi peran Guru BK, yang berkontribusi nyata pada kualitas penguatan karakter Islami peserta didik.
